Lancaster Starter Alternator rebuilt my 44 year old No longer available European Ford starter. And at half the price of a specialty restoration shop rebuild.. Bart is the best! Took care of my alternator issue when the Lucas alternator crapped out in my antique British car (Joseph Lucas is the Prince of Darkness). Bart is a British car guy himself. He recognized my old alternator when I walked in with it. Who recognizes 45 year old alternators?? He went the extra mile by coming in early to get me back on the road ASAP. A new alternator with just under twice the capacity (at my request) was ready for pick up 3 days after I dropped my old one off. He even glass beaded and painted my old pully before putting it on the new alternator. Bart really took a genuine interest making sure I was well taken care of. He knows his stuff. Definitely a do-it-right-the-first-time or not at all kind of guy. A dying bread for sure. He even helped carry my parts to my vehicle. You dont get that kind of service at a chain store. No cheap China stuff here either. Im betting this alternator will outlive me. A family owned business. He was highly recommended to me by a friend who has been restoring cars for almost 50 years. LSA is awesome! Wish I could give them more stars, they were recommended to me when I had some alternator issues on my truck, & I couldn’t find a replacement. I have since used them numerous times for starters and alternators and I’ve never had an issue with any of the parts I’ve purchased from them, what makes it even better is that they treat me more like a friend than a customer every time I walk in, and even if I had issues with the product I would still go there for that reason alone. I have been going to LSA for years. I typically have questions and requests over and above a stock replacement piece, and Bart always takes the time to answer my questions and helps me pick out the right part for my application. I have bought many alternators and starters from them over the years and I refuse to buy those parts from anywhere else. I have never had a failure and these parts help my performance vehicles reach their potential....Id give more than 5 stars if I could, I love these guys.

Tried to give this place an opportunity to earn my business but after being lied to I’ll never go here, called in to ask about a starter being rebuilt and they blatantly lied to me and said it’s not rebuildable, First of all from a business standpoint, you should never lie to your customers or mislead them but obviously it didn’t matter in this case. I tried another shop and what do you know they rebuilt it with no problems. You guys should’ve been upfront and honest and just say we prefer not to rebuild them, you’d be better of with a new one or something like that, not just lie to sell a new one.

I needed brushes for a 58 year old starter generator. Checked other places and came up with nothing, these guys not only had them, they were cheaper than eBay and I was able to get them the same day! Excellent customer service, highly recommend, will be back if I have any starter/ generator/ alternator issues fixed n the future.

Went in @ 7 am on a Friday for a car battery. Staff was professional and helpful. Confirmed dead battery, took old one, and replaced with new. New quality battery at a fair price. These guys are top notch. Came in for an alternator for my Cherokee, and was charged the price as if I had my core replacement with me. They trusted that I would bring in my old unit after I changed it out, which I did the following day. Very happy with my rebuilt alternator, even came with new hardware! The unit went in very easily and I didnt have any issues installing. Will definitely be back if needed.

I came in looking to upgrade my 65 amp 1g alternator to a 130 amp 3g model. Like most diy people we research the internet for hours collecting good and bad information. WE ALSO STAMP THE DATE & PART NUMBER ON THE STICKER. THE UNIT THAT MR. RHOADS BROUGHT IN HAD A PAPER BAR CODE TAG THAT WAS CLEARLY A REMAN UNIT FROM A PARTS STORE. WE TRIED VERY PATIENTLY TO EXPLAIN TO MR. RHOADS THAT IT WAS NOT ONE OF OUR ALTERNATORS BUT HE WAS VERY BELIGERENT AND UNINTERESTED IN THE OBVIOUS FACTS. MR. I grew up working with these guys as long as i can remember. Never had ANY problems with them. Nicest guys to work with until today, Wednesday November 28, 2018. Went in there to see if they could rebuild an alternator that i had bought from them around a year ago give or take. And all they wanted to do was argue that it was not theirs. Bart, this has NOTHING to do with the company i work for. Its my own peraonal alternator. You sit there an threatened me with a civil law suit because you wanted to argue with me thats not how it works buddy i just needed the dam thing rebuilt n you had to argue then you went as far as to call my boss and the owner of the company i work for .sorry buddy thats not cool it has nothing to do with them you guys will no longer be getting me as a customer it was the worst customer service i have ever dealt with ever
