I recently moved to Lake City from Jacksonville where I have always got my prescriptions filled at Walgreens. The lake city Walgreens pharmacist, who told me his name was Albert, refused to fill my medication and told me that my Doctor should have prescribed me a different medication. I was not early and the medicine was in stock. It’s the same medication I have been taking the past 3 years. When I asked how he could refuse to fill my script he told me that he makes his own rules… verbatim… I have never been so Angry…. I had to get my script sent back to the Walgreens in Jacksonville to get filled. How is this Legal?… Unbelievable!!!! I will be filing a formal complaint with Corporate.

I spoke to the Manager about the poor service, and ugly comments the pharmacy staff makes. Then I asked him for the corporate number and he told me to look it up online. That is why they are all rude. Probably created a new google account, so you don’t see the history of complaints. They are less then 2.5 stars on Google with cutting out the past. You are good in business to people or you don’t make it. Correct, they are not making it.

Change my insurance due to Medicare, but this is the worst pharmacy service I have ever had, I have been on the phone up to one hour waiting for service times three and I am getting fed up, even though I need the service, when enrollment comes again please count me out, here is always 3 callers ahead of me. This is ridiculous. There has to be a better way to get through.

Yuck, slow and rude. I hear them working hard to try to turn customers away. The good news is the customer just talked about the rudeness by themselves. I understand your busy, but rude while people wait longer then anywhere else in town is yuck. Obviously, the pharmacist allows it, so replace them all. Help! 30 minutes for three people in my line. Don’t go here for a COVID-19 Vaccine. Set an appointment just to wait over an hour. These people are complain about their job as I wait helplessly. Please somebody let me go somewhere else for the second shot. Making an appointment was a illusion of organization. Please just stop and steer clear.

The pharmacy is not good. I have given them three months of chances, they lost my first prescription and had to start completely over then gave me a partial fill and when I went back to get the rest said I wasnt able to do that and I had to call the doctor and start over AND they told me they had the meds available and next day they said they were all out and this month they are telling me that I cannot refill my meds until the day that I picked them up EVEN though they took four days to complete and fill the prescription after telling me it would be ready later in the day (it ended up being a week later) So I am no longer going to use this very very incompetent pharmacy. Beyond unprofessional and bad.

I was traveling and needed a prescription refill.I explained to the pharmacist that I needed it refilled in a couple of hours or not to fill it at all.She told me to come back in an hour because she had to call to get the prescription transferred. When I got back she claimed that she didn’t recall the conversation we had a hour and half a go. Then she checked her records and discovered she did get the prescription transferred. She said it would be couple more minutes - about 30 minutes past I asked about the refill. Again I had to explain what we had talked about. She the told me that they didn’t have the medication and couldn’t fill the order.She let me stand there knowing she couldn’t fill the order. Then I told she shouldn’t have transferred the prescription if she didn’t check if they had the medication.It’s the way she looked at me that made me completely upset. What I got was from her is that I made a mistake -tough luck - and now it was my problem to deal with.After many calls to Walgreens I finally got the prescription transferred back to my home Walgreens.I have been doing business with Walgreens for years and been completely satisfied.This is the first time that that I have been treated this way as a Walgreen customer.I will continue to do business with Walgreens and not let my experience with this one incompetent disrespectful pharmacist ruin my relationship.Elwoood L Mefferd

Sat in my car in the Drive-Thru for 30 minutes only to see a sign that says the drive-thru is closed. Went inside and theres a line of at least 10 people. What are you doing? If you cant handle the customers close the store. Close the pharmacy. You cannot do it.

To the pharmacist and pharmacy technician that went above and beyond to help me get medications for my elderly family member who could not drive in the dark to pick them up herself, thank you. Both employees went the extra mile to help. I rarely leave reviews however, these people were amazing and deserve the recognition for their hard work, late hours and superb customer service.

Rescheduled job interviews, because I had my second shot appointment today, walk in and get told the pharmacy is closed system is down, I said why wasnt I called or texted like I was reminding me, they said they need the system for that to come back later or another day, so I guess Ill just do nothing all day and hope for the best? This is the kind of thing that made me switch all my meds from Walgreens in general years ago to my local pharmacy.

Went for 2nd part of shingle shot. I received a flu shot. I called after reading the info sheet. They apologized. The clerk had only been there for a week. They promised to train him better. It was Friday and they promised to have manager call me on Monday. It is Monday night and I still haven’t heard from the manager. So upset! Will be looking for a more competent pharmacy to give me my second shingles immunization.

Long lines, only 1 register open, pharmacy answers the phone Im on hold for 16 minutes and then pharmacy picks up the phone and puts it on hold automatically without talking to me and then it plays music until it starts ringing it rings until the disconnects, terrible customer service but of course they dont care, I even went online through the app to order my prescriptions so was not to have to interact with people but there was a problem with one and I called and it was one person in front of me in the line and I was still was on hold for 16 minutes then the pharmacy picked up the phone put it on hold and hung it back up 16 minutes of my life wasted

If you have an entire day to kill, go ahead and come here. It took 45 minutes in the drive through to pick up my meds. There were only 3 cars ahead of me. Its always this slow. Its absolutely ridiculous.

I love this place, I really do. One reason why is the fact that I can avoid Wal Mart!! I haven’t been to Wally in almost a year, thanks to Walgreens. I love how easy it is to find what you need quickly.Pharmacy- yes they’re busy and sometimes you gotta wait longer than you feel like but overall not terrible. I don’t understand why people say that they’re rude in that area of the store. I’ve always got a hello and smile, etc.I don’t like the photography’s section. The people who work in that section are rude as he**. I just avoid that section if all possible.

I went shopping for a customer today i am a dasher I went to pay with the credit card from my job I declined it so i got a hold of my boss they told me go on and go to my next delivery so I left the cart that had stuff in it I walked out the cashier followed me out she told never come back she said I was abandon from wall greens the cashier was really really rude to me Im not going to do her job I got my own job I dont like walgreens I did call the store manager told her what happened she she will talk to her about it I told the manger she needs to lose her job talking to a customer like she did.

We came in with a script direct from the emergency room for my injured daughter who just recieved medical treatment from a dog bite to the face. It was 9:40 p.m. and we went in to fill the script. The pharmacy said it would be 10 minutes. We waited and went back up to the pharmacy and they were closed with the lights off. I went to the front counter to ask and as I was asking the girl that helped me in the pharmacy was leaving and she told us that there was nothing that she could do once the pharmacy was closed. I let her know that we were from out of state and just trying to get home. She still did nothing. She walked out the door with no care at all except to say, Im sorry. I do not understand how this could happen. How could you not know that we were still there. She acted like she didnt even remember taking my script. It was only 10 minutes.

Store is clean with open aisles, easy to shop for getting in and out without much efforrt. Helpful staff who are happy 😄 to be there and yes 👍, that makes a difference. The redo if this location is shocking - it really is nice!

I was placed on hold at least 25-30 minutes they finally picked up the phone and hung up. I called the store to see if they had the medicine in stock she said no and couldnt tell me when it would arrive. An insulting experience.

You can tell the staff enjoy their jobs. Very friendly and professional. The pharmacy will assist and answer every question. The pharmacy staff are calm, patience, and efficient regardless of how busy the department is.

Uncharitable, Unhelpful disgrace of a pharmacy if you could call it that. After reading some other comments Im shocked this place isnt shut down. I work all day Saturday and my pharmacy is closed on Sundays I came in with a valid prescription for a medication that I will have seizures if I dont take, was told that it couldnt be filled because it wasnt my regular pharmacy, and that my regular pharmacy was closed and therefore couldnt be contacted. Well geeez why do you think I brought it to you guys, because you were open and they were closed. I was treated like a suspect, not a patient. You lost a customer for life.

Have used Walgreens for years. Just had them refuse to fill a script because I had used a different pharmacy the previous month. Had 2 instances where I used a different pharmacy. Once because I was trying a different generic because Walgreens told me they only carried 1 and there’s no way to get a different one. And the one they had wasn’t working. The other time I had to go to a different pharmacy than Walgreens because they weren’t going to be able to fill it for like 4hrs. I’m on a tight schedule and couldn’t wait. I also wouldn’t have been able to come back because of my business. So now, my script that I’m out of today won’t be filled for another 2 days. She didn’t seem to care.Edit* - Went to a different Walgreens 50 miles from that one but the next closest for me. They apologized and filled it with no issues.

The pharmacy should be closed...the poor service in this area of the store dampens any positive experience you may get in this Walgreens. Use any other Pharmacy if you need knowledgeable staff or professional service.

This pharmacy has the worst staff I have ever encountered. The techs are rude and have no idea what they are talking about. The pharmacists here are also extremely rude and walk away from you while you are trying to answer the question they asked you. After they actually listen to your answer, they repeat back you something completely different from what you told them. Its as if they are all incompetent fools. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

Very friendly staff but very long wait times for prescription orders. The pharmacy is usually overwhelmed due to not enough staff. Items are organized and the store is very clean. Pharmacy hours are not 24 hours anymore. Until staff is increased would suggest another pharmacy for prescriptions.

The people that work in the Pharmacy Techs & Pharmacist are Rude & Judgemental they lie on people as well, I know this from experience. THEY HAVE NO🚫👎🙅RESPECT FOR THERE CUSTOMERS. They have NO CARE FOR PEOPLES WELL-BEING. You have to wait 2 hours before getting your Prescription even if your sitting there waiting on it in the lobby, you still have to wait that long. When you walk up there to ask if your Prescriptions are ready they will tell you (No I told you it was going to be a hour or 2) but in a very rude manner. Its not right that they are treating people that way. Their suppose to be there for people not belittle them & Judge them. They are just out right nasty,rude people that work in that pharmacy. If corporate or somebody or whoever is in charge doesnt do something with there staff @ Walgreen in the pharmacy department in lake City Fl their going to LOSE THERE COUSTOMERS! Those people in that pharmacy treat people like their scum off the bottom of their shoe. It not fair 😖that us customers have to worry about getting Judged & someone being Hateful to us.By a staff that has no clue to someones health issues I understand the drug crisis but not everyone is a dope head and should be Treated with respect cause not all illnesses can be seen from the outside. Pharmacy staff is generally rude. Most of them have a habit of walking away while youre talking to them or inturrupting. Ive gotten the feeling at times that they deliberately waste my time by telling me tondrive around or come back later but then i still end up waiting for 10 minutes, sometines longer for other people to be served. There are other details of their service that is just ridiculous and unacceptable.
