We were so happy to find this hidden gem right off the highway! It has such a cute interior and feels so cozy. Their fresh baked scones were still warm and so good (we had the strawberry chocolate and apple pecan scones)! I also tried their house made lavender mix in my iced latte which added just the right amount of flavor. Will absolutely be back to try more treats.

Nice store. Fine service (after ringing Bell to get someone.) Poor quality products considering the pricing. No cheese on egg and cheese burrito. Bland coffee. Simply convenient considering location near hotel.

This was the cutest coffee shop Ive ever been too! The decor was inviting, the plants throughout and even starters for sale made it peaceful! The staff was attentive and lighthearted! The inventions of different coffees offered made it exciting to choose! Stop in here and you wont regret it!

There are so many things I love about this shop. The service is always friendly, the lattes always satisfy, and the food is the best quality weve found on the long stretch of road between our home in the Chicago Suburbs to our family in Minnesota. We love the lunchboxes with hummus, Im drooling thinking about them. I wish I could recreate this sandwich too, plant based and absolutely delicious. Not to mention that it is cute and full of plants when theyre open inside.

Mollys Cupcakes sold here. If you dont want to go downtown Iowa City for some of the best cupcakes, this is the place! Stop here to get the tasty treats as I fill up when Im passing through!Great place to get good food, besides cupcakes, on the go, as it is in the same building as a BP fuel station/convenience store.

I was getting dodge street coffee nearly every day until recently. I went 2 weeks ago on a Saturday afternoon and got their largest hot drink. I thought it felt light but I asked for no whip so didn’t say anything thinking that was the extra space in the cup. When I got onto the road and finally took the lid off, my drink was half full. I want to support locally but when you are paying $6 and not receiving the full amount it’s very disappointing. 🙁

The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable! Coffee is always great, the variety of breakfast, lunch and bakery items is wonderful and there are even delicious vegan items to choose as well. My favorite item is the chicken salad on a croissant - so deliciously addicting!! 🥐☕

The Dodge Street team, service, and products are amazing. Honestly, the best scones, I have ever had. There coffee, espresso, and tea are the best I have had. There space is so cute and you dont even notice its attached to a gas station! I will go out of my way to be able to stop at Dodge Street.

Hidden gem. I had a sandwich and coffee after a fasting blood draw at LabCorp nearby. Both were excellent and the person at the counter was caring and sincere. Nice sitting area to relax and have coffee.

Great coffeehouse! The espresso is delicious. The space is beautifully decorated with lots of plants and plenty of seating. There is a cute kids corner and the restrooms were clean.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Confusing location- basically just behind a gas station . Had a cappuccino to enjoy there at outside table with my pup, then an iced Americano to go. Both were flavorful and a good price. Definitely worth many return visits.

What a breath of fresh air to the north side of Iowa City! Dodge Street Coffee is the perfect place for a meeting with clients, friends, or to catch up on some work. They have an adorable kid play space that gives busy parents a bit of respite while sipping on a coffee. To go options for food are plentiful and allergy friendly. The bakery selection is insane, everything from delicious scones to cupcakes. There is something for everyone. Add in the fact this is a local women-owned business and somehow it gets even better. Love this place, visit often.

Accidentally found this amazing coffee house with the neatest set up I have ever seen.. they even dedicated an amazing little corner of the store for smaller children to entertain themselves 😅

Amazing fresh baked scones every day! Lots of vegan and vegetarian options! The customer service is incredible and the food is to die for! Getting the fresh scones every morning is the highlight of my day. Definitely accessible, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The owner Kelly offered to carry out my bag for me to my car because of my cane. An excellent place to enjoy in Iowa city!

After reading reviews this looked promising..Ordered coffees and specified half flavor. Coffees came out scolded and overly sweet. If you like gas station coffee then you’ll probably think this is good. But if you want anything above that this is not your place. We ordered the in-house breakfast burritos. I’m not sure if they were a couple days old and just microwaved or what but they were not good at all! “In house” must be referring to the fact that the microwave them “in house”. Even my kids could not stomach them. And they were willing to eat anything. So once again this is pretty much gas station quality food and beverage. So if you’re OK with that then make the stop otherwise it’s not worth stopping.... Do your stomach a favor and keep driving!!!!Update: For real coffee and food drive the extra 9min to Dash Coffee!!

Super friendly, very conventional location; coffee, hot chocolate, and mocha drinks were spot on. Prices competitive and it actually has a nice grouping of places to seat and enjoy your drinks / pastries.

Ive been in Iowa City for almost 6 years and this is the best location for coffee Ive come across by a long shot!! The staff is incredibly friendly, the coffee is strong, and their rotating menu offers a lot of fun variety.Their drive-thru is fast and convenient and Im looking forward for when things are safe enough to have the lobby open as well. Very happy to have such an amazing local coffeehouse in the area!

Dodge Street Coffeehouse has amazing coffee and great food! The coffee is high quality and hand-crafted beautifully. The food selection comes from other local vendors (which is amazing!) as well as some of their own house-made items that are unique and delicious! The atmosphere is perfect for working, meeting or just hanging out.

After many visits since you first opened, you still consistently burns my lattes. Received one today 3/4 filled and burnt so much the foam was charred. Buy a thermometer for your milk and dont serve it over 155 degrees. SMH very sad. Never returning

I love the local food and many milk options (vegan alternatives available). Theres also a warm and calm atmosphere. Dodge street coffeehouse is a nice treat, and for it to be right off the highway is great. I travel nearby for work sometimes, Im sure to make time to stop ... even if Im running late.

The coffee and people are absolutely amazing. I know they are currently going through some bad customers since they have to enforce the mask mandate for the city, but they handle it with a smile! It truly takes a lot to keep smiling even when people throw a fit at you for having to follow a rule thats meant to keep us healthy!

My family was traveling through to Illinois when we needed to stop for gas and use the restroom. Had to walk through the coffee shop to get to the restroom, and decided, why not get coffee too? The coffee was delicious and very friendly staff, but the real winner was the play area. It was perfect for my 20 month old. Thank you so much to the owners for creating a space for kids in your shop. This is a gem of a coffee shop, and if I lived close by would be visiting frequently.

This was my first visit and I was totally impressed. The girl behind the counter was very helpful, polite and had a pleasant personality. She was very busy keeping the customers happy and keeping the place clean. I highly recommend this place to all. I believe the girls name is Tessa.

A much needed addition to the northeast edge of Iowa City! Great coffee and a nice atmosphere. They offer a handful of unique food options from other Iowa City staples such as NODO, Trumpet Blossom, Molly’s Cupcakes and Oasis to name a few!

Organic soy milk. Organic Chai tea. Gluten-free cupcakes, which taste like a brownie with frosting on top. Lots of other bakery options. The chocolate decadence cupcake is a must have.

The oat milk chai is amazing and always served perfectly because they measure! Going the distance for consistency.

Excellent atmosphere, food, coffee... All with a wonderful place for kids to play. Highly recommended.
