Fix is one of my favorite places to hang out or study. It’s so good! The workers are extremely friendly and personable, making me feel welcomed into the space. The drink options are simple and easy to follow, and they can honestly whip together just about anything you want. I love a good London Fog, and this place can deliver. Their fresh Arnold Palmers are excellent too. Another favorite thing of mine about Fix is the atmosphere. It’s so clean and spacious, SO much natural light, and a quiet vibe. You can watch downtown Iowa City from the 2nd floor view. You must come check this place!

Had a Colombian pour over that was awesome. There is loads of space to spread out. Everyone is following Covid protocols. Found my coffee wizard, Zak again. Highly recommend checking them out!

Dont let the upscale interior intimidate you. Staff is super accommodating and down-to-earth and prices are a reasonable $3-4 for cappuccinos/lattes. The natural sunlight from the giant windows and quiet backdrop and lack of foot traffic lends itself to writing and reading. A hidden gem in the heart of IC thus far...

They truly made me feel special. They have paid attention to the details in how they make the coffee, the utensils, the saucers/plates, demitasse. It is a really neat experience with a continuous theme and feel.I met with some friends here and it is a very comfortable, modern environment with great tasting third wave coffee and excellent service!

I am a dedicated Prarie Lights man (PL4LIFE), but there is now room in my heart for another coffee shop. Very comfortable, and relaxing, and clean. All in all, the place gave off an upscale vibe. Additionally,it is above ground level, so when the zombie plague hits Iowa City it will be a good place to enjoy a dark roast and stare at the chaos in the streets.

Iowa City has many great coffee shops. Fix is certainly the best because of their quiet, relaxing atmosphere, amazing customer service, and terrific drinks!
