The name of this dealership is a sham. Theres nothing honest about them. I was involved in an accident with an employee of this place, while he was driving one of their vehicles (2011 Ford Ranger). The vehicle is on their website without an updated picture. They originally said they would pay for my car to get fixed if I went to their body shop, but when they got the estimate, they changed their mind! It took them over a month to provide proof of insurance! Theyre really making it difficult on me to get my car fixed! Their guy was in a hurry to get to a tow lot before they closed and was driving recklessly to get there and hit me in the process! Dont buy from them! Dont even look at their cars!

Received my car from them 2 years ago and I have not regretted ever since, great staff and faculty as well as great inventory of vehicles. I will recommend others and more than likely will shop there again!

Their cars are used. They have nice vehicles idk why ppl r complaining about buying a lemon from here bcux they r honest with the issues of the vehicle if there is any. In a used vehicle ur gonna have to fix problems. If u keep up with the vehicle your be fine. They work with you on price. They talk to you to make sure you want the vehicle. I came there after looking at another car come find out the car didnt run right, it was loud the check engine light was on . So I came to honest Abes and found me a 2013 Ford focus for a good price these people are awesome these people are awesome.. First time going through a dealership to get a car. They made it simple and easy to get one and even showed me which cars were worth actually getting. Cars are sold as is so expect to put a little work into some of them. Other than that, they will lead you to where you need to go to get it fixed up or tuned up and even have someone there to help you with small details. Just call ahead of time to see if the mechanic is there. They were really patient, and there for you even after you buy the car.

Took my son to buy his first car there. Went to the wrong lot first. The salesman was very nice and helpful to get to the correct lot. The salesman at the correct lot was very nice and straight forward with us. He did not seem like some slick salesman just trying to sell a car. Everyone there was nice and helpful. I appreciate friendly service!

You make your payments on time and if you sneeze the wrong way they tow your car and continue to add more fees and if you can’t pay those fees then they tow it again. They’re a scam. Honest Abe Auto Sales on West Washington Street in Indianapolis IN, has a disregard for women who are customers of their company. They talk to female customers very rudely & they show no compassion as far as if there is an emergency. For instance, my car was stolen 2 nights ago, as soon as I found out I called the police & I called Honest Abe. My car was found within 2 hours & I was beyond happy. When I got to my car the keys were still missing. I had my best friend go pick up the spare key for me so I could get the car away from where it was. Honest Abe called me back today informing me that I would have to return the spare & get a new key made for $60-$70. I told them that it was not my fault that the car was stolen they showed no concern for the fact that my house had just been burglarized nor the fact that somebody had stolen the car that I am paying them for!! They absolutely did not care!! Dan, the man that I was speaking to, called me ungrateful because they helped the police find the car but in all honesty its still considered their car. Dan never informed me that they helped the police so I could give them proper thanks but he instead decided to yell at me over the phone & curse at me then proceeded to hang up. This is the second time that a man from this company has treated me with such disrespect. In a few months I am returning the car once I get a new one. The cars they sell are not worth the type of customer service they give. They are not a 5 star company at all!! If I could give a rating, I would give a negative one!! I will never in my life suggest anybody get a car from these folks!! I have never had a missed payment & I always keep my insurance paid. I can not believe these men really talk & treat customers so wrong!! They are thee worst company to get a car from, not only did the car need new brakes when I got it but the airbags deployed while I was driving due to a defect of the car!! I was on the highway with my two year old in the car with me!! It knocked the wind out of me & I was not involved in an accident!! They showed no remorse for that situation either they blamed it on Pontiac but come to find out the car had been in a previous accident which they say never happened but according to the VIN number it was. I am making this complaint because these men at the location treat women as if we are not equal & this needs to be addressed. They need to replaced & fired!!

I gave 3 stars because I actually got a decent vehicle but I was not valued as a customer. I paid CASH for my vehicle, which meant I was the owner with no strings attached. When I pulled off the lot the only thing that should have been owed to me was my title once it came back. Instead a 2nd key that starts my ignition was withheld from me until I received my title plus, there was a tracking device that wasnt removed until then either. This really rubbed me the wrong way and I really dont appreciate that at all. Its numerous reasons as to why this bothers me so much but Im most certainly sure that Ill get over it.

Employees are friendly customer service is good let us check out 2 vehicles when neither of them quite suited us checked inventory at his other lot had a couple that were interesting we went to other lot fell in love with 1st one we looked at rick the salesman told us go back to his lot he would get the vehicle transferred by time we got back and had paperwork done had vehicle there temp plate put on and ready for us HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I would NOT recommend this company to anyone even if it is your last option!! I knew I made a mistake when the lady at the desk Corrina stole my insurance money and they were trying to repossess my car until they VIEWED cameras because I was willing to get a lawyer. Scammer! Now 8 months later they are saying I owe them that same insurance money that their employee stole! Applying my car note to repairs but they have NEVER made repairs on my car! Gave me a bill that could not be explained! Biggest mistake of my life dealing with these frauds!

This place is a terrible joke. I took my son to talk to them about a car on W Washington St. He went in and before he could tell them he had $1100. To put down on a car, they refused to talk to him until I come out of the car and enter the lobby with my car keys in my hand. First of all, I have a disability and they had steps only. Also, my son is an adult and I have nothing to do with his business. We left, I wouldnt advise, to anyone. The employee then advised its his car lot and if we Americans dont like it we can leave. He is Muslim.

They sold my wife a lemon and didnt at least give her part of her down payment back when she gave them the car back.

They are as shady as 50 SHADY GREY BOOK OR MOVIE. They had my Blazer repoed a few times. Ok payments are do every 2 weeks in which is fine. See i left my new cell number on their answering machine week before. Had it 2 maybe 2.5 weeks there was an issue with my insurance instead of waiting till morning they used dealers key and drove back to car lot. Ok they drove my truck using my gas. Not on wrecker or flatbed ($300) nothing, they did this around 2:00 am they open at 9:00 am for less than 5 miles.The repo charge was $300 i will contact IND.GOV for this over priced fee due now with i believe they contribute to insurance screw up and my payment on truck that was repoed. Ohhhh.... A good one ok my wallet was in glove box of my blazer that is on my property. Well i found my wallet under front seat. I asked the manager at honet why was my wallet moved and $200 taken out my blazer. They just blew it off i asked them to question repo man about my stolen money. They had an illegal GPS tracker on blazer, tracking my son ( underage son ) at time.

NEGATIVE RATING IF I COULD!! Car number 1 that I purchased from them in Nov. 2017 drove fine when I got it. Then needed brake pads, rotors, and calipers on both front sides 2-3 weeks after I got it. CarX original estimate was $994. I couldnt afford that so I paid $500 from a mobile company advertising on CL, didnt get a receipt. After 2nd failed attempt at BMV for title work and plates when the temp. plate had expired, I got a call from the car lot. An hour or so later. They said they werent able to get the title from the auction and come pick any car from one of their 4 lots and they will put me in it. Roughly 2 hours later after I picked out another vehicle, the manager Aboud said he was leaving but would ask the owner about reimbursing my brake job and taxes I had paid on car #1 and to call him on Tues. Tried calling him several times over the next 2-3 weeks. He finally was available after taking his lunch...i was on hold waiting for about 10 min. He informed me that he had yet to speak to the owner and give him 10 min and he would call me back. I told him I expect a call back today. He didnt call. His secretary Rae called. She said they were going to apply the tax I had paid for car #1. I asked her about the brake job of $500, she said we cant do that. Why? I asked. Her reply, Because that was outside of us. What the hell does that even mean? Of course it was outside of their company being that they dont do any repairs. By any means that was the wrong answer. This is not how you treat good paying customers. Enough said for now. Im filing a complaint with the BBC and Indiana State Attorney General. As things stand now, I have yet another car purchased from them that needs some brake work, feel unsafe driving it in the weather we have recently had. Title work still not done for car #2. My hands are going numb from white knuckling it to work. I will probably be taking uber to work the remainder of this week. What a PISS POOR way to conduct your business. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

Car started having problems after 1 day. Took it to them and they wouldnt take care of it. Then their employee laughed, cursed, and tried to start a fight with me in the parking lot and the manager didnt even care. All he did was stand in front of him. This is the worst used car lot I have ever seen they make you carry full coverage insurance and the lowest deductible possible on a $4000 car car got repo road because I had $1000 deductible then when I went to pick up the car money was stolen out of the inside of the car and they just blew it off like it was nothing I actually talk to the insurance company and they will put insurance on your car for you and they are not licensed to do that so it’s not over but please everybody be aware do not buy from this Carlot
