I think this place is expensive with very small sized produce. All Ive heard from others is how affordable it is. Guess we live in different tax brackets. 🤷‍♀️

The store was neat and clean. However the aisles were not adequately stocked (possibly b/c of the holiday), and the cashier was inattentive and distracted by her cellphone. So much so that she added part of my grocery purchase to someone elses.

Great big Aldi store in Hoover, spacious, clean and well stocked compared to other Aldis. Rarely too busy, & convenient to I-459 exit to Hwy 150.

The food selection is great. Doesnt have a lot of things I was expecting. And it has some things I couldnt expect a grocery store to have. I think its the area its in but it doesnt really have that local Feel that other Aldi stores have so I took a star away

Great produce! Interesting frozen items. Bring a quarter for your buggy( you will get it back).

You need to wait in long lines to complete your purchase and cashiers don’t know how to make a line properly.

Great mmanagement! Great customer service skills! When the stores one line got backed-up with customers trying to check-out, a manager quickly opened up another check-out lane; when that didnt alleviate the crowded line of customers, yet another lane was quickly opened and the manager himself began checking people out. Kudos to Aldis for caring about their customers and our time. It truly is the little things that matter.

Great place to shop. Usually have everything in stock. Friendly staff. They also have a sanitizing station where you can wipe your cart down safely and sanitize your own hands once you’re finished.

This is the largest Aldi store iv ever been in. It was very nice and clean. Plenty of room to shop. The item I purchased Ive not been able to get at my local 2 Aldi stores in Tuscaloosa and Northport Al for the past 3 months. I was very pleased to find it here. It was something my 96 year old mother has been wanting for the past 3 months and can only be found at Aldi as far as I know.

ALDI at Stadium Trace is a go to for us in our way to work. This is a relatively new store. Very spacious and always clean.Lots of choices for produce and meats at a descent price. And they always have your staples to stock your pantry.The larger grocery chains need to take a hint from ALDI, they receive a truck daily to restock.Staff is always pleasant and helpful. Couldn’t ask for better!

I absolutely love Aldi! They have everything you need and it is a small grocery store! They have awesome groceries and some fun other stuff too! Sometimes I just go as a treat to myself to see whats on the shelves!

The prices are great! This is my favorite place to shop for groceries. It is no frills, but there are healthier options, better prices, and the clearance area is always worth che king out. The wine section is relatively new so we havent been able to try many of the wines. As with everything else, the wine is very reasonable in terms of price. I would recommend everyone to spend some time at ALDI.

New store is very clean and well stocked. Its much larger than other stores with plenty of room to move through the aisles. Large selection of wine & produce & currently the cheapest pumpkins around. I will definitely visit this store often.

Love the prices on most everything, especially the changing house wears and even shoes! This store is often out of wipes for the carts. They also have a horrible routine of switching out your basket at checkout to make things go faster. Not very Covid smart.

Shout out to Aldis in Hoover. I went today and I noticed you had an employee who was basically assigned to cleaning the buggies with clorox after they were returned. He was also extremely friendly, as were all the associates today.The buggies all had quarters. It touched my heart, whether it was a small gesture in extremely hard times, or them trying to stop the spread of the virus through dirty money, I applaud you! 👏👏👏I appreciate all your efforts and you have my loyal business.

The largest and fanciest Aldi in town. Good, extensive produce section that is designed like produce departments at other grocery stores. Cashiers are still in training and it might take a tiny bit longer than at other Aldis. They are probably still waiting for their wine and beer license but the shelves for wine are already there.

Always a great experience, love this location! Many things are on sale, so stop by if you want some great deals. This is the main store we do our grocery shopping at, and I doubt that we will change any time soon!

I’ve always had a great shopping experience at Aldi. They have amazing products that are much cheaper than most other grocery stores. Their produce is some of the best I’ve ever found, and I love how easy it is to get in and get out of there.

Very clean store. But the only fresh herbs they had was cilantro. So I had to go to another store to get most of what I needed. They also only had one lady working on a Sarurday night. She said someone called in and her other co worker was on lunch. So she was the only worker in the store. This cant be safe.

This is the best place to show, they dont fool customers with low price like walmart. Also they dont make you check out your own item.

Admittedly, Im a new Aldi shopper. The prices appear to be fantastic but Ive had two quality issues thus far.Some of the fruit I bought was moldy the day after I got home, and not just a little bit...it was closer to a science experiment than a snack. Not a huge deal and clearly I should have just looked closer.The carts at the end of the register confused me this time. The cashier loaded all my things into the cart, me without a bag or anything, but then said she couldnt let me take it.It was my fault for not understanding the policy...but dont put my things in a cart I cant take.Ill keep trying it because the value seems obvious, but man, there are other stores where they not only give you bags, they will take the cart out FOR you, the culture shift comes with a steep learning curve.

Best ALDI Ive been to in the Birmingham metro area thus far. The Bessemer location has a more friendly staff but as far as selection goes, this ALDI has all others beat.

I wish Aldi would order more of the mama cozi (bbq bacon chicken) pizzas and less of that other stuff. Ive been to every Aldi in Jefferson County looking for them.

Its a good store but customer service literally non existent! It is also very fustrating that EVERYTIME I go there the cashiers tossing and damaging the produce from one shopping cart to the other without the slightest care. I guess it is a BAD business practice from Aldi which is unacceptable. I will go back shopping at Publix.

This one is cleaner because it’s new. I still like the Bessemer one better. I’m from Cincinnati and have been shopping at Aldi since I was 3 years old. They are so over priced down here.

This Aldi is completely on the higher scale of its stores. Found items not at other stores. Wish this style of store would have been built in Hueytown. The Hueytown store looks like a warehouse ( inside architecture atmosphere is blah) and the Bessemer one looks like and smells like a dumpy warehouse.

Lacking some foods in the vegetable aisle but everything else was really good. Prices are nice as well!

My favorite place

Aldi shopper for almost 10 years...Before today I would have given this store a 5 star rating. Today however I had a checker tossing my fresh fruits, vegetables and brioche breads into my cart. When I politely told him not to smush my bread...well he wasnt accommodating. It doesnt matter how nice the produce is in your store if it is bruised before I get home.

A very new location and as always a wonderful shopping experience. If you have never shopped at an Aldi Store your in for a treat. The canned goods are 30-50% the price of Publix and less than Walmart.Great prices and excellent quality. The only thing that lets it down is the produce can be hit and miss.This store seems to be about twice the size of other Aldis.
