I looked online for childrens binoculars & microscopes but then went to Dancing Bear Toys & was so glad i did! The salesperson helped me understand what and why I would want a certain model of the items & the price was lower than the ones I saw online. She was so helpful & friendly! Ill be supporting them & other downtown businesses again this Christmas season.

Not inclusive. We were discriminated against on 9/10/21.A sign on the door says all employees are vaccinated. I made it only two steps inside before all three employees up front talked all at once instructing for the use of masks. I explained my three year old son who signs needs to see mouths for his disability per therapist and doctors orders. It didnt matter to the employees. I asked if they did not honor medical exemptions. No they do not. They said Id have to shop from outside. I said I didnt know what they had and just wanted to look in the store but we couldnt so we left never to return. We will not do business here. A heartbreaking experience.

My family and I adore this toy store. Manager has the kindest heart for kiddos. The staff is always so kind and helpful. Many times we have been able to find items in this store that we couldn’t find other places!

They were amazing. I couldn’t have asked for more focused help finding the gifts for the children in my life. Covid has prevented them from opening fully but the customer service to overcome this was amazing. I set at a table outside while Carrie helped me find the perfect items and price point. Come to dancing bear it was the best Christmas shopping experience and I ended with the perfect gifts 😊

Told my youngest son he needed to wear a mask. When I stated he medically couldn’t they continued to push it and then asked me why he couldn’t wear a mask.Isn’t that against the law? Ya know a hippa violation?Yeah we won’t be back there.Let me also say I happily wore my mask as well as my oldest son.

Friendly staff and great selection of toys to choose from.

As a store that caters to young children (the least likely group for Covid to affect) still requiring masks! Well you just lost my business. I have a health issue that puts my lungs at serious risk if I wear a mask and I’m over the discrimination against people who can’t or don’t wear masks!

First of all, I had to knock for entry. Only a limited number of customers are allowed inside the store. The clerks could not have been any nicer. There was a wonderful selection of stuffed animals, books, and toys. My gift was boxed and beautifully wrapped. I appreciated the good service.

I Love the store, my daughter and I just go here to mess and look at the MANY toys, crafts, nic-nacs and more. It seems like they have new stuff every time I make a trip. I would recommend, we even went today to see the calico critters Easter bunny.

I love this shop~ Its been a staple on Main Street for a long time and adds great variety to the shops here! They change stock all the time so you can find something new with each visit~ Rreally cute shop, perfect place to buy gifts or bring family ( kids would love it! )~

We could spend hours and all our money in here. The toy selection is excellent, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. My son asked about a sticky thing he could throw at the wall and was shown about 6 or 7 different options. Of course, he had found about 8 other things too look at by the time the employee was done showing him.... lots of samples out to try out, and if you want to look at something from the case, they are more than willing to pull it out for you.

They have alot of great toys. This is my 12 year old sons favorite toy store.

Dancing bear is a great toy store! I enjoy going into this store because the owner changes the toys selection and puts a lot of thought into the choices of toys that are displayed. There is floor to ceiling filled with fun toys and games. Also, they had many events that my children and I have attended, either it was game night when you can learn and play a new game, there have been Lego events, guest characters, and our latest event was their 20th anniversary, homemade goodies, cake from the local bakery and catering... yum! The staff is always fun and patience, your kids can enjoy the train track or snuggle with the animals or play with the doll house. They let you enjoy the store and do not hoover over you. And dont worry about if your kid wants something, there is something for any price range, little trinkets to large playsets. You will want to buy your kids toys from here because its not just a toy...Its an experience.

Its a toy store with all kinds of different things. They even have a wooden train table for the kids to play on. Also, try the pogo stick while youre there.
