CROOKS BEWARE!!!! NO JOKES...I bought an electric iron comb from this store and my card was charged 3 times, with 2/3days interval between each charge..I just noticed today and quickly called my bank.I was told the charge is a foreign exchange charge.WHAT!!! I have not travelled out of the country since Covid started last year..The funny part is, the last charge was for the 23rd(which was just 2days ago,now 3days ago..its midnight.. when I was practically stucked at work all day, and made no transcation what soever because I still have a full memory of how uneventful my day was..#kidding...lol)..Well, luckily for me I was able to catch their activity when I was making a payment on my card balance...I noticed their crook activity, because I always switch out cards I use, after about a week/2, because soon as a card balance reporting day approaches I stop the use of that particular card, switch to another card, thereby, spreading out my monthly expense on several cards, and I wont use the particular card again, until after a week/more from the statement reporting day when I am very sure the balance has been reported.Thus, I always have few charges I can monitor on each card..I just wonder how long it would have gone on, If I had so many transactions charged on my card and not notice their funny games on time or at all...BE WARNED!!! DONT SHOP HERE.

They have many varieties of hair weave brands, wigs, carry hair style brands I thought this beauty supply had lotion nope they do not kind of mad skincare products are not sold.

Set there for 30 mins prior and didnt open on time of course so i left will try again later but looking thru window it was full of supplies so at least they are stocked up

Very unfriendly environment. I was ignored by the owner and the cashier. The cashier is Mexican, she was unwilling to help me. But minutes later when two Mexican women walked in, the cashier was eager to help them. I left. Very disturbing and tacky experience. I don’t recommend anyone with self respect shop here.

Had what I needed at a better price than the chain we are probably all familiar with. It appears to have a little something for everyone... they definitely crammed a lot of stuff in there, but I found everything I needed for my project easily in one area. I will definitely go back there again.

The store is beautifully arranged and everything is in order, although the attendant didn’t know much about crotchet hair but she tried to help me find the exact product I wanted. At the point of checkout I was given a discount on all items bought. Wigs are cheap quality the lace is thick and bald at the top. Hair sheds a lot. This store is over priced!!!!

I DO NOT recommend CJ Beauty Supply. Every time I go in there, the owner, old short Asian lady with black hair, is watching me. What do I need to steal a pair of $2.99 lashes for?? I’m not a criminal and NEVER have I stolen in my life. Such disrespect. Your store caters to African Americans yet you treat us like thieves. Make it make sense. Where is the correlation. Do NOT give your money to this store. There are way better beauty supply stores in Denton who carry much greater supply. I recommend Trendsetters Beauty Supply ran by a black owner, I also recommend Beauty Mart. If you’re a college student with a car Valley Beauty Supply in Lewisville is huge and also great! These stores I just recommended won’t watch you as if you’re about to steal something. NEVER giving my money to this store again. And if you’re a college student I recommend you do the same. GMFU.

CJ Beauty sells hair care products for African American women. It is privately owned by NOT African American ppl. These ladies always assume that we are stealing when you walk through their doors. They will follow you and they really dont want you checking out the hair they have at the back of their counter. These ladies prices are a little on the expensive side and they dont even have all of what we are looking for usually. I have stopped going in there becauseI dont like feeling like a criminal when I am attempting to give you my hard earned money for your over priced products. I gave it two stars because there used to be a young lady there that helped out a lot.And I almost forgot to mention how rude the owner can be. I dont recommend this place unless you are in desperate need and can over look certain antics of theirs.

Always friendly when I go in...even though its small in size they carry alot of variations...they even do discounts for students and a point for every dollar system that gets you a percentage off your next purchase everytime you hit 100...out of all of the hair stores in Denton I prefer this one.

If I could give them no stars I would I spend over 200 every 2 weeks plus my sister spends just as much and also my mom n aunt and the owner followed me all over the wig section NOT HELPING BUT LETTING ME KNOW TO TRY A WIG USE THEIR STOCKING ok no problem then said 1 dollar if we didn’t buy a wig ok then as my daughter tried her second wig SHE STATES SHE CAN ONLY TRY 5 times Hmmmmm ok so instead of me buying the two wigs I was going to get and the one for my daughter I gave her $1 for her cap and left I will continue to drive a hour to Fort Worth for better service then 10 mins up the street where she doesn’t value her customers.

Just yesterday I went in to look for pre-braided box braids for an event later this month & decided to check out some wigs as a backup after not finding what I came for. Their try-on limit is 5 wigs, if you don’t buy one you must pay $1 for a wig cap. I let the owner know I wouldn’t be purchasing one that day, so I gave her the money immediately/before trying on anything. Before I could get to a 2nd wig, the lady decided to hover over my shoulder & pretend to “work” around me. As a customer & student discount user of this place since at least 2015, I had NO intentions of stealing anything, so there was no need for her theatrics. This definitely isn’t the first time I’ve felt like I was being watched by a staff member either. EVEN WHEN I WAS BUYING THINGS. I perceive it as racial profiling, but you can take from this review what you will. I’m disappointed in the constant lack of quality customer service & they’ll no longer be getting my business.
