This place was outstanding. We were first helped by Kelly online and over the phone. Super nice and took the time to listen to me. When we arrived we were greeted nicely by everyone we came in contact with. We worked with Jack Irwin on our Jeep lease and he couldn’t have been more friendly and professional if he tried. Super nice guy! Frankie was cool and Bob in finance was great as well. The cashier that was working was super nice as well but I didn’t catch her name.One of the shortest purchases/leases I’ve ever dealt with in 28 years of buying cars. I also appreciated the fact that while we were interacting with everyone, they were wearing masks. Caring about the health and well-being of their customers is SUPER appreciated by me personally because I take care of my grandmother. Outstanding, just great. The service people at this establishment were friendly and helpful. My truck needed an unscheduled oil change and it was done fairly quickly. They also washed it....free of charge.The only issue I have is that I purchased my 2015 RAM 1500 from a dealership in New Jersey....where I had lifetime free oil changes. I was in the military and I retired in 2016 and moved back to Illinois in 2019. I no longer receive free oil changes. I bought my truck new from RAM and I think it would be good customer service to continue to honor the free oil changes.

I am still in disbelief that this actually happened. I am not sure what is going on over there but something is not right. We purchased a Jeep from this location in 2018 and we had such a great experience. This time.... Not even close. My husband contacted Jack to inquire in a Wrangler. He sent an email on a Saturday late afternoon and did not hear back. He decided to call on Tuesday and never heard back. Called on Wednesday and was told he was not in but he will be in at 7:30 am Thursday, he did leave another message. He received a text a little while later from Jack explaining he wasnt in and he would call after 9:30 am on Thursday. My husband did not hear from Jack until after 1 pm. They finally were able to speak and discuss what we were looking for. Jack said that they did not have the Jeep we were looking for but said he would look around at other dealerships to get the one we wanted transferred to his location. Said that we are preferred customers and he will get one for us (preferred was clearly not a good thing). The next day (Friday) they spoke due to not finding exactly what we wanted in the color we wanted. We changed it up a bit to make it easier to find one. What Jack didnt know is that we did find the Jeep we wanted at another dealership less that 15 miles away. We had such an amazing experience with him a few years back so we really wanted to work with him. We should have just stopped once he didnt respond to our email and save us the frustration but we did not. Jack told my husband that he will send him the list of Jeeps he found, he never did... I know..... shocking. The weekend came and went, nothing from Jack. Monday, my husband called.... no response. Tuesday he called and left another message, no return call. Wednesday, called AGAIN but he wasnt there. Here we are a week later... We still have not heard back from him. We did move on and in fact purchased what we wanted from a different dealership. I am baffled as to why Jack just decided not to help us. I have given his information to several people who are also looking for a Jeep, they have been told not to bother. Getting Jack to return calls is like getting a two year old to eat anything other than chicken nuggets and mac and cheese, incredibly exhausting and frustrating. I am happy for Jack that he isnt worried about the commission he lost but at least let your customers know you have zero interest in providing customer service. Honesty is good. Saves us all time. You just lost our business. He clearly wasnt worried about it so I will go one step further and use the magic of social media as well. Do not waste your time with this dealership.

Took my Jeep Wrangler in for a shredded belt and oil leak from the timing chain. Drove it 4 miles off the lot and my engine overheated and my transmission temp was red lining and pouring out from under my vehicle. Popped the hood and the trans oil was boiling, even while the vehicle was off. Had to pull over in a parking lot and get it towed back to the dealer. Waiting for it to be serviced now. Would NOT recommend this dealership. Quality of work is absolutely atrocious. Nice people, doesnt make up for the terrible service to my Jeep. Will not being going back. EVER.

Took my Jeep in to fix an oil leak. I paid for valve covers. Motor mounts. Water pump. NowA week later I need to return it because it is dripping oil. I’ll keep you posted

Had a horrible experience at this dealership. Came in looking to see what deals they had running for leasing a vehicle, if any, on any of their vehicles. I didn’t have a particular vehicle in mind, just wanted to hear any of the promotions they might have. Jack Irwin was less than helpful and I found him extremely condescending. This type of lack luster hospitality and salesmanship will keep me from ever stepping foot in that dealership again. It’s a shame because I live in the area and love the Jeep brand. I’ve owned three so far in my lifetime and was hoping for a fourth. I’d steer clear of this location. I’ll try my luck at the new Elgin location. Hopefully they will have someone with a pulse I can talk to.

This service department is organized, polite, efficient.The technician did an outstanding job on my 2021 Promaster 3500 Thor Tellaro RV. These are big heavy vehicles, close to 10,000 lbs.After the service was complete I had the opportunity to discuss the issues with the technician. These guys earn their living by working not talking. Made appointment for service of my Ram truck. Service tech was prompt and listened to my needs. All service performed to expectations and technician Adam went beyond by personally showing me what to watch for. Price was better than expected.

I brought my truck here because of the great reviews. It needed service so I dropped it off the night before. When I picked my truck up my Apple charging cord was no longer in the truck. When speaking to the service manager that the cord was missing, I was told that was hard to believe. I have called twice and haven’t received follow up from them at all. There is no reason personal belongings should be taken from a vehicle when it’s being dropped off for service.

Brought vehicle in for oil change and tire rotation. Left with a “faulty” or “damaged” seal. Oil all over driveway and vehicle had to be towed back to dealer. No explanation of what to expect. Vehicle is still dripping oil overs week later. They had plenty of opportunity to turn this into a good customer experience. I don’t have confidence in the service department and will be taking my vehicle elsewhere for future service.

So I went to the Crystal Lake Jeep Ram dealer on route 31. My multi-switch on my driver side door was broke. It kept popping up when I would shut the door. Richard Ziegler in service had a tech look at it, they had the part in stock and they fixed while I waited. I was out the door in 30 minutes. They even washed my truck for me. The service there is impeccable and unbeatable! I live in McHenry, there is a Ram dealer in town by the name of Sunnyside Dodge and they are horrible to deal with. Crystal Lake Ram Jeep dealer will service my Ram 2500 and my wife’s Jeep, they have a 2 customers for life.

Horrible service, took my 2021 Jeep Wrangler in to put remote start on it. First off, it took 2 hours when I was told it would take about 30 minutes or so. Then there were multiple guys standing around my Jeep not doing anything! Finally it was done, then to be told only one of the keys was programmed and that they have to order a new key to redo it. Not happy!

Herb Meyer is great! I first went to Wickstrom CDJR to see about ordering 2 Jeep Wranglers. They told me that I would have to pay above sticker for them. I thought this was crazy so I went to Crystal Lake. Herb responded to my internet inquiry within 2 hours of me submitting it. The dealer gave me a great price on both vehicles. I bought a truck from these guys a couple years ago. Recently brought it in for a warranty issue. They had me in and out in a few hours while I waited. Warranty covered my repairs no problem. I will definitely be back for my next vehicle!

Worst car technicians ever. Went to a different dealer turns out that I could of damaged my trackhawk really bad if this part wasn’t fixed which was the driveshaft… (they couldn’t find the problem, my car was there for a week) I went to Elgin and they have amazing service found the problem within 2 hours. I can’t believe they let me go not fixing this problem. They told me to keep driving it until it completely breaks. I could of hurt myself or someone else on the road.. I can’t believe they let me go and drive around like that.

What a rip off this place is.Brought my car that is supposed to be under warranty here and I was charged $200 for an oil change and for the guy to supposed tighten a part of my muffler so my car wouldnt be as loud. Well the car sounds exactly the same.None of the costs were given to me before they performed the service.I feel incredible ripped off.I WILL NEVER BRING MY CAR HERE AGAIN.

My husband and I went in to see a van posted on their website. The salesperson mistakenly showed us a different one and didn’t realize this van was at the detail shop. They said they would expect it back in a couple of days. I reached out almost everyday to find out the status. A week later I inquired again and I was told it was sold. I would not recommend this place. Customer service started out great but didn’t stay that way.

Everyone here is absolutely amazing. They go over and beyond with customer service. Brad, is an amazing car salesman with so much patience and doesn’t push at all. He listened to everything we wanted and delivered with our trade in and we are so thankful! Highly recommend from the sales to the accounting every step everyone was great!

I have been coming to this location for years to do my service maintenance and emergency care on my vehicle. I was extremely disappointed to see how the dealership is handling (or lack there of) the current pandemic situation. I arrived on a Tuesday afternoon for a scheduled oil change to find majority of the staff not wearing a mask.When I state not wearing a mask, I truly mean no masks were visible on or around the staff. The waiting room is a small room filled entirely with chairs from wall to wall, forcing customers to sit next to each other; even though the outside door of the building states to maintain a 6 feet distance from others. The maskless staff, in the showroom, maintained close contact while discussing current events.I am a healthcare worker who has risked the safety of my family and myself throughout this pandemic to ensure quality care for my patients in the hospital environment. I have maintained the proper mask and protective attire for 8-10 hours every day to ensure I keep everyone around me safe. I have taught my three children, under the age of 5, to properly wear a mask at daycare and in public to ensure safety for those around them.As a customer, I felt that I was unappreciated and far from valued once I realized that this location couldnt provide a safe place for me, nor any other customer present, to get the service needed on a vehicle. (Unfortunately it is too cold to wait outside.) One of the most important aspects of our lives is the safety of a vehicle that gets us to and from where we need to go. It also can hold the most valuable assets of our lives.... Our children. How am I suppose to trust this dealership with vehicle safety, service, and/or purchase when they cannot provide a safe place for my vehicle transactions?

Herb answered all my questions and gave me peace of mind when buying my vehicle. I would recomend herb to everyone. Process was very quick and easy.

Was told one price for an oil change and when picking it up the price was doubled, telling me my car REQUIRES synthetic oil. In the 8 years of owning the car I was never required to get a synthetic oil change. Talked to the manager after I had left and I don’t know exactly where we left it because he hung up on me.
