Before finding RMA, I had found two other shops. The first tried to charge me double the price and said I had wait days for my truck when it gets shipped to Mississippi tommorrow. The other business actually said, after I drove the truck there, that they couldnt do it.(I had scheduled with then yesterday and waited to call anyone else because they swore they could do it) I saw great reviews on Google for RMA and so I gave them a call. They were a lil far from me(Maybe 15 minutes from current location) so I was worried about the exhaust being too hot to be repaired quickly. That was not a worry for them. They made room for me last minute. They estimated it would be an hour and a half wait from me... So, planning for my wait, I went over to the Mapco down the street to pull money out of the ATM to pay them. They grabbed my keys before my roughly 5-10 walk and when I came back handed me the keys as they welded me up a side pipe for my work truck in record time! The prices is competitively the best in the area as my job cost about HALF the price of the other shops in the area AND the quality and speed are definitely unmatched by their team. Bobby helped get my truck sounding a lot better and the exhaust looks 10xs better with the sweet tip on it. Definitely gotta bring my drift cars there, looks like a few of the lifts are more low car friendly than others in the area too. Will be back, excited for my next project.

Just had to update this review, I cannot thank these guys enough! Very professional and just all around great people. They helped us put in anyway possible, we were on a trip to Florida when we started having car troubles. After dealing with the Chevy dealer and their extremely expensive prices to fix the car we decided to give them a call. Even with the short notice they got us in right away and started working to try to get us back on the road right away. The owner, Joe, even went out of his way to drive me back to the hotel once I dropped the car off and then a few more times after I went back to get our luggage from the car. Not very many shops will take the time out of their day to do this. That just goes to show that they actually care about their customers!!! Their prices were extremely reasonable!!!! Our car had more issues than what we had originally expected, knowing this and coming from a family of mechanics myself, talking with Joe about this issue you could tell that they know what they are doing.I will say this, the work that they did do to the exhaust system made the car sound so good and we are very happy with it! In the end we ended up having our car towed back to our home in Missouri. This decision was not based on our experience with this shop or anything regarding the work they did, the decision came from the ease of working at home without the hassle of staying in a hotel out of town with no other mode of transportation. I 100% recommend this shop to anyone in the area or passing through with any car issues. They are some of the easiest people to deal with, they went above and beyond what I expected. They didn’t take advantage of us because we were just passing though and not regular customers. Save yourself some time and money, CALL THIS SHOP!!!!

This shop is very busy. But that just means alot of people trust them and I can see why. I needed to get my car in for an urgent repair and it needed to be done in a short time frame. Everyone was patient, kind, and professional. Id highly recommend and will be coming back.

What a great shop!! Took my son to RMA to have a quote done for exhaust repair/replacement. We thought it all would need replaced and was expecting that to be the case. Bobby put it up on the lift and talked to us about what actually needed replaced and our options and pricing. In and out after a hour with a perfect job completed. The folks at RMA are awesome. Recommended a muffler delete over a Flowmaster install for the results I was looking for. A muffler delete reduces their profits but makes for a happier customer. Any business that puts satisfaction of the customer over profits deserves 5 stars. Thanks RMA

I am a single mother and new to Clarksville. I do not know much about cars or Clarksville! Someone referred me to RMA for repairs. The guys at RMA provide excellent customer service. They dont throw on a car part and charge you an arm and a leg. They explain to you what part you need and why you need it. They help you solve your car problem in the most economical way possible. Donny and Joe have gone above and beyond in helping me with car repairs and Im truly appreciative of their efforts!

Originally I called to see if they would install LED headlights on my car. They told me to order the bulbs and they would install them. I called RMA back when the bulbs arrived...about 5 times over about 2 weeks and each time they were too backed up. They never tried to fit me in. Thats okay, a different business fit me in did a great job.

I had exhaust work done at this place and their prices are very reasonable. However, that is not all. After I got my exhaust fixed, I got some trouble codes on my car. The midpipe had a leak which caused a cat code to pop up. I took it to them and they fixed it for me for free since I just had the exhaust done there! The next day I got my oil changed and my pcv valve changed there. They let me use my own oil/ parts which is a huge plus for me. Great all around shop that takes care of you! My go to Auto shop for sure.

Im currently restoring a 84 Camero that has allot of work that needs to be done. I have been buying the parts so they just charge for labor and they are extremely affordable. They did amazing work. I highly recommend to anybody that has anything that needs to be done. They are extremely friendly and havent tried to just drain money out of me like most places.

Worked with Donny and one of the shop owners to put some new catalytic converters on my 08 F150. They got me in on short notice, charged me a fair price and the welding work was good and solid. This place is amazing. I just moved from California, and it’s been hard to find an honest and trustworthy mechanic. I reached out through yelp to ask the owner, Joe, some questions about my car and a price quote. He was very prompt and kind. He broke down the prices for me, and explained the process, which impressed me greatly. Plus, he quoted me at least a hundred dollars less than other mechanics I had called. When my service was done, it was even less than he quoted! A lot of other mechanics I called would dance around what needed to be done. What also was impressive was that I was greeted warmly when I arrived by Joe and another friendly and awesome mechanic. My car is now running so smoothly! I needed work on my brakes, and they did an incredible job! I feel very safe! ALSO, with a service, they offer a three year warranty nationwide! Puts them far above the competitors! I now have my official mechanic shop! :)

They did excellent work and much cheaper than the other places in Clarksville, Honest 1 quoted me $1500+ to get oil pan gasket replaced and exhaust system replaced, these guys did it all for $609 and even gave a discount. Plus they quoted my replacement of my exhaust manifold for me for free with the different prices of the dealer ($2500), retail ($900), and buying the part myself from eBay ($100-200) and bringing it in for installation ($100-200). The guidance to buy it from eBay and have them install it will save hundreds of dollars, Id absolutely recommend you bring your car here for repair

Riverside did the first correct alignment and front end job Ive had since purchasing my F250 Superduty 4x4 new in 2002. They accurately pinpointed some from end bushing issues, repaired it, along with a needed control arm replacement - then aligned it. In the past when getting front end alignments from other shops (including dealers), Ive always ended up with my truck pulling left or right with a steering wheel that does not line up straight. Not so with Riverside. The truck tracks perfectly with no left or right pull. Steering wheel lines up correctly when driving down the road. Front end handles like a new truck. I appreciate them taking the time to meet factory alignment specs and test driving the truck for an excellent repair. Thank you!!

Showed up at 730 am for an alignment by 930 car still wasnt pulled in to the shop. I cant rate their work, but a waste of 2hrs of my Saturday. I would not recommend, Ill be driving to Cheatham for an alignment by Rileys alignment on Bearwallow.

Absolutely incredible. Took my van to numerous shops only for them to tell me nothing was wrong with it. My van literally stopped in the middle of the road while driving on more than 1 occasion. By the next morning they already knew what was wrong with it. Highly recommendupdate: They had my vehicle done much faster than they quoted as well as significantly faster than another shop had quoted which was 6 weeks. Wont be going anywhere else for my car repairs. Van was in Monday afternoon and back by Thursday afternoon. Saved me money on repairs and rental costs.

They got me in quick and gave me an estimate. Told me I needed two parts repaired and quoted me over $500 worth of repairs. I later went to T&B and paid less than half that and ended up only needing one of the two parts repaired. Pretty sure they were try to rip me off and tell me I needed an extra part repaired when I did not.

We have been a customer of RMA since moving to Clarksville 3 yrs ago; however my trust in the company changed after my husband visited them on April 01, 2019 for a brake adjustment and to repair the emergency brake that a mobile mechanic had improperly repaired. They supposedly adjusted the brakes but was informed that that to replace the emergency brake cords it would be $700-800 . I took the car to another repair shop to check on the outer tie end rod and upon examination, he immediately spotted that the incorrect brake shoes were on the car. But, the SURPRISING truth was that once the brakes came with the needed hardware for the emergency brake, a total of approximately $25.00 for the brakes! A very big difference of $700 - 800 . I definitely called RMA and informed them of what the misguided and deceitful information. I just wonder if they bait you in to trust them and then over price you or if they just try this on certain unsuspecting ones?The second shop instantly recognized that the store had sold us the wrong brake shoes and educated us that no new emergency cords would be needed at that ridiculous price.

I dont know if I should trust this Riverside Muffler & Alignment. They would have to prove to me beyond reasonable doubt that i can ever trust them or recommend them to anyone. After doing a diagnose in my car rear differential, I was quoted about $420 but a few hours later I received an other call saying that it will be an additional $400. Left with no other choice, I had to say sure go ahead and they Fixed it and i got the car the next day. However the following day, I noticed some fluid in my driveway and in other places where i parked so I called Riverside Muffler & Alignment to report the problem and they told me to bring the car in. When i brought it in (Friday), they checked it and told me that it is a small problem (No further details were given) and it can be fixed for $120 and should not take more than an hour but they said that they couldnt fix it the same day and that I had to bring it in after the weekend. When I brought the car in Monday I was told that the problem was a leaking drive shaft pinion seal and quoted $306 parts and labor. Right there I knew that I was about to get ripped off again so I informed them that I couldnt do that. The next day my neighbor, who happens, to be a mechanic (With over 20 years experience) asked me about the fluid leak in my driveway and offered to take a look. After checking the car he told me that the issue was due to poorly applied silicone (Gasket) around the differential cover and that there is absolutely no leak in or around the pinion seal. So here is my problem and questions. Why do these guys always give a quote and change it later? Do they not know what they are doing? How can a professional miss such an obvious leak when I can see the oil with my own eyes coming out of a tiny gap in the differential cover? Why are they trying to fix something that is not broke or are they just telling me that so they can justify the labor hours? Why couldnt they own up to their error and fix the problem without charging me an additional $306?

Awesome shop my motor blew unfortunately I couldnt save my car but he has fix my car in the past. Plus I came down with the flu and he was very understanding and gave me some time to tow it off his lot. Thanks.

This in my opinion is the number one muffler shop in town. Great customer service, great prices and best of all great people. At first I was going to go to kraft st. mufflers but guy was going to charge me 250 for a muffler replacement I got at riverside for 160! I recommend this place hands down no questions asked!

Terrible! This was a terrible experience! I was there at 7:35. nI went in for an oil change and an alignment CHECK. I spoke to the person at the front counter and stated I need an oil change and an alignment CHECK. He was still looking for my name. No other customers were there! He asked for my keys and said it would be about 30 minutes. After about 15 minutes, I asked if I could have my tires rotated as well. He said no problem. I sat and waited for over 2 hours. Then he came out and gave me a price. I paid and asked for my print out for the alignment check. No print out. He said you have to ask for it ahead of time. When we called the daly before and asked if they gave a print out they said yes and never mentioned that you have to ask for it! I went out to my car and the service light was still on. I went back in about the light and was informed the I never asked for an oil change and if I wanted one, the guy was going to left for about 40 minutes and I would just have to wait. He stated 2 more times laughing that I Never asked for an oil change. When I stated that I had asked to have the alignment check only, I was informed that it must have needed one because the guy used tools. I left and will never be back! I now have to wait some where else to get my oil changed. The guy also stated that while the manager was out on the lake, they all have to work when they should have been closed. I guess that means no customer service!

I have had my classic 1965 Chevy truck at there shop several times. They have done excellent work at a excellent price. I will only go to Riverside to get work done.

Last year, I needed my brakes done on the front and back of my Pacifica, I took it to a competitor and they quoted me a price of $1500 and basically told me the vehicle was a rolling death trap because of the poor condition of both the front and rear brakes. My wife called Riverside and got an over the phone quote of $398 for the rear only since they were the worst, so I jumped at it and took it in. When I got in to the shop, they quoted me a price of $368 for the rear only which made me even happier. When I finally picked it up a couple days later, the price was even less at $336 with all tax and labor and the rear brakes worked GREAT! They advised me I had about another 6 months on the fronts so I could worry about those when I could afford it next. I currently have the car in Riverside again to do more work and I will continue to use Riverside ANY time my vehicle needs work just because of my first experience with them.

I relocated to Clarksville over the past year and was in search of an honest mechanic that I could totally trust. I feel very fortunate to come across Riverside Auto Care. From the front of the house to the back, they are reputable, honest and hard-working people, and when I leave my vehicle, I have complete peace of mind that the work is going to be done correctly.

I had a bad experience with several auto mechanics in the past. Since Im a woman I always felt that they assumed I didnt know anything about my vehicle and would overcharge me for even simple things. This was not the case with Riverside Muffler & Alignment! We had an issue with a previous mechanic using a air socket on our Oil pan plug. We occasionally do our own oil changes and of course this made it impossible to manually remove the plug and actually ruined the plug to the point it had to be replaced. They quoted my husband a price of $50 to replace the plug and do an oil change. Not only did it cost less but they got me in and out very quickly. They have a lot of vehicles that they are working on but for good reason. A company that is not only honest but reasonably priced is hard to come by in these greedy times!

Took my truck in that morning to get the exhaust upgraded and got it back quicker than quoted. Plus they didnt price gouge me on the labor.

2 years ago I needed my clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing replaced. I drove there without calling first and arrived 30 minutes after they closed. One of the mechanics was still in the parking lot and asked what was the problem. He stayed and diagnosed the problem. The work was completed the next day and cost $100.00 less than quoted. They were great.

On the way to Clarksville I heard a strange noise in the front end of my truck pulled off the exit and the noise just got worse. Called Riverside and talked with the rep., who was great, about what it might be. They got me right in and had my problem fixed in under an hour and a half from diagnoses to paying the bill and going out the door. I cant recommend them enough.
