I’m sad to leave a 1 star review however Patrons of all levels, Even Able bodied patrons would have a difficult time accessing Aptos Natural Foods. There’s nothing NATURAL about accessibility here.Heartbroken this gem of a store doesn’t prescribe to common sense. I’m a disabled patron and with disabled parking spots 15-20 spots away from the store (too far to utilize using a walker) we parked in the only spot available right in front.Pillars, cars, concrete parking markers, planters, and the like create a labyrinth of obstacles. When staff saw my struggle to enter the store the gawking at first was interesting but the ignoring that ensued afterwards was disturbing.The staff present lack the maturity to prescribe to any level of empathy. To think that my family and myself have been patronizing this lovely store since I was in my teens, now in my mid-40’s my patronage is coming to an end because accessibility is not offered. I realize that the strip mall management is responsible for parking however the carts can be placed elsewhere to provide a bit more accessibility to those patrons who don’t have wings.Inclusion is the future and necessary for establishments like Aptos Natural Foods to survive. I just tried calling your store, spoke to Pepper, and you were busy, I was asked to email you. I just now had a call from your store with no one answering my hello. On the day I visited I left my phone number with your staff for a manager to call me. What I experienced is serious, renting or not. Now, offering a disabled individual physical assistance and to call in advance? Patronizing to say the least. Im curious, if I came back and if I called what then?

Just found this place, so I have only been one time, but feel like I found my new go-to. Friendly people, amazing quality items and they really take social distancing and sanitation seriously. They have a lot of organic food with healthy ingredients and they make use of every inch of that place very effectively. The mandatory hand sanitizer upon entry is how everyone should be doing things.

A well run gem. Clean, organized, extremely well stocked, you can shop here & find very high quality foods. They have a great body care section also vitamins. They have cool gifts here too, so its a store thats got something for everyone. Staff is courteous & knowledgeable.

You can buy most of the products in other place or online in much much cheaper.For example: Daves gourmet pasta sauce they sell for almost $9.Safeway across the steet sell the exact same product for $7 and few cents.This place is only for suckers who want to look cool.Same products can be bought for less.

Love coming in here . They always have what I need, and I love love love the suggestion board. They either try to find a similar item to what I ask or let me know why they aren’t carrying the item. A must go to for all natural and organic.

Love that I can still shop quickly in a smaller community health food store. Very nice, knowledgeable staff and aware. You will find what you need and they now carry Luxe Lotion and Lip Balm so I love it even more.

Check your receipt for additional careless charges, check expiration dates (much is often expired or very near best by date; they dont monitor and replenish stock) and dont expect unique bulk items to be fresh (ex. Certain nuts are often rancid). Overall, if its worth the effort, just pay attention to value, freshness and charges

Had a bad interaction there, but the Manager handled it professionally, so Im back.

Always have what Im looking for and appreciate the line of products to be able to select from to refill my own containers.Shampoos, lotions, etc. Please take a look at your use of plastic and consider doing this.

Great local organic store for 80% of my organic needs. The other 20% provided by New Leaf, but that store is too far away.

It is a small natural foods grocery store with helpful, friendly staff. You can run in here and shop quickly for very good quality

Aptos Natural Foods is quickly becoming our favorite goto place, especially for vegetables - they have the sweetest grapes and the freshest veggies, along with a great selection of personal products!

Really grateful to have it nearby. They always somehow seem to have what we need - from bulk items and regular grocery things, to supplements and homeopathic remedies - even though its a relatively small space. We appreciate the changes that have been made since the change of ownership - Arya the new owner is great. Even added something we love to the shelves when asked. Sweet, helpful staff. Promotes worthy causes, such as GMO labeling, donations for byo bags, glass milk container exchanging, etc. Thanks for all you do!
