First time visiting the Aptos branch today. Big kitchen & salad bar, pretty nice but not much selection of produce. Organic canned soups & beans & potato chips. Bulk rice, tea, herbs, peanut butter, & chocolate munchies.

This is an absolutely stellar place . Is a beautiful, new, big store with incredible selection. Wonderful products, wonderful people, wonderful store. You can buy freshly prepared food from the deli and eat it inside or outside.

Friendly helpful staff, and the best, freshest, local produce of any supermarket in the greater area. Its the only place we shop. And now with curbside pickup sand delivery we can shop from home dont even have to get out of the car when we pick up. Very handy with all this pandemic going on...

Very expensive. The new leaf in Aptos seems to be going for an artisanal ambience. They do source locally but they get the most expensive items. Theyre meat department is not well organized so if you order something there for pickup on another day, good luck getting it. On the upside its very pleasant to shop there. I never thought that I would think whole foods was a bargain but hopefully it has the brand 365 which puts much less of a dent in the budget than New Leafs items. Their bakery does compete money-wise with other bakeries in town and the things that new leaf actually makes are quite good.

Newly opened, spacious and clean; high end health/organic grocery store, with a focus on local farms/goods.The newest new leaf is the best so far, with the largest sq footage and largest selection.New construction with spacious aisles carefully stocked and cleaned.

Are you kidding me? This is as bad as Whole Paycheck. If you want the best deals on the best food go to Staff of Life. You will pay a premium for high quality food but not to the point where you cant make your house payment. Having said that, I shop a lot at Grocery Outlet.

I frequently come here for the deli sandwiches and end up buying a hundred other things- until now. Having worked in food service for many years, I’m wondering why anyone would ever serve rotten sprouts of all things to a customer, this could make someone extremely ill...I’d rather be told I cannot have a requested item than served the rotten version. Will have to find another place.

Nice to have a natural foods store in my end of the county. I’m glad they were able to repurpose the original barn. Pricey but many items that I want are here.

Good groceries, insanely expensive prices. I get that its all organic and high quality, but its pretty absurd how much they can get away with charging people for the exact organic ingredients from the same farms that Safeway sells for 1/2 the price. Im all for supporting local, but since New Leaf sold out they arent any more local that the big red S down the street...

They have a good meat dept and great produce but I dont really care for their frozen or canned goods. Super pricey also but that is the reality of being out in Aptos.

Nice place and food selection. Very pricey

A very clean market with a very helpful staff. Sometimes, when vegetables like chard are getting older they chop off a part of the stems and then charge you the same amount of money for what is an older vegetable and less of it at that. They support local businesses and there are a lot of local vendors products that they carry. Because these are small vendors their products tend to be pricey. My biggest complaint is that their hot table is just not good. Theyve improved it. But Ive never had any food from the hot table, with the exception of their whole grain rice in which they often use Forbidden Rice which is delicious. And so although I was hoping to eat dinner there at least twice a week I dont. They do have organic soft ice cream thats yummy. Its dished out in cones or cups when you order it

Staff is bright and welcoming, but WAY TO EXPENSIVE. You can literally get the same food for 1/4-1/2 the price elsewhere. Beautiful market and location, just need the prices to come down to earth and we can shop there regularly, and buy more that 5-10 items. Understandably, this is Aptos, and many of us are very fortunate financially, but it feels like youre being ripped off on nearly everything.

Our family is so grateful to have this local community market in our neighborhood. To have access to local and organic groceries is a godsend. Since its on our way home, its become an extension of our own pantry or refrigerator since we just stop on by and get what we need, and theres no waste! And they are awesome about receiving feedback and requests. We have requested particular products and every time they either get it in stock or provide an equally awesome product equivalent. Thank you New Leaf Community Market and Staff!

Clean, friendly, wonderful selection, and helpful staff. I didnt want to turn one over...a new leaf that is... But I had to one day, so I must admit, it wasnt a horrible experience that Id hoped it might be, given the circumstances of the way of the company who developed the land handled things. But its not the stores fault though, I was very pleased with the store.

I guess these days maybe a sterile environment is more appealing than it used to be, but this place lacks a welcoming atmosphere and has a very weird, discombobulated layout. On the plus side, I was happy to see organic A2 milk!

The lunch food is okay. Though Ive been in there twice to buy cucumbers and theyve just about turned and were ice cold. I think the cooling system in the produce section is too cold for them and is maybe making them turn faster. I love the grocery store and the location but Id like to see fresh, crisp produce there.

Really like this new market. Good selection of food. The deli had great choices. Prices arent as bad as you might expect - sandwiches are reasonable and the salads are very good. The new public square out front is friendly and inviting, there are tables outside and inside, and I think its great that they preserved the old Hihn Apple Barn.

I love this store. Over the COVID days they have become my favorite. I feel safe, but its not a police state. Also they carry a lot of awesome local brands you cant get anywhere else. (Oli pop, smart dogs, etc) And great hours. They manage to do it all ethically and sustainable, and they arent owned by Bezos. Check out their loan program for local vendors. Im a fan.

Appalled by all the plastic! Encouraged by the signs outside about remembering reusable bags, I walked into this store to be greeted by rows of gleaming plastic, including loose blueberries with plastic containers waiting to be filled. These are not the values that I associate with New Leaf, especially in view of the bait-and-switch messaging outside - what a double standard! Aptos Natural stocks both of the items that I was unable to find at New Leaf, and they sell fruit in biodegradable punnets. Theyre keeping my business.

The New Leaf in Aptos is a nice addition to the area. Its clean, appears to be well stocked and a portion of it is housed within an historic barn. However, the service in the back area known as The Kitchen was quite disappointing. Not a single counter person said hello nor offered to help! Once I was finally able to make an order, I had to wait several minutes while other customers where offered may I help you from a lady with graying hair and glasses. These customers behind me got their orders first while I ended up waiting about 15 minutes. I like the store but I probably wont be a customer at The Kitchen again. Terrible experience! Would have given the service one star except that the cashier made up for the employees behind the counter

Went here to get some light snack after a morning hike and I was really impressed! The building is very clean, friendly staff and has a large selection of organic products!

If we support these prices and we shop here knowing how expensive it is we are accepting astronomical prices. The food chain industry monitors the demand of peoples needs and put a large price on it.if we follow The Hetd expect no changes expect inflation. Boycott this is your only voice. Dont support overpriced groceries boycott if you do and everyone else does the same there is no choice but to lower the prices. Speak up community boycott . If not you will be seeing ten dollar gallon s of milk. Stop paying three times the profit on a box of cereal boycott make them go down to one and half profit a box how? Boycott its a must 🤑 sorry I hope yall understand my view

Sock and shoe store is like a mini REI. Grocery store is like a mini Whole Foods. Coffee shop has various exotic toppings for toast. Wine tasting shop next to sock shop. Still alot of vacant slots for more shops to open up.

Bought an organic roasted chicken for $9 and its cavity was literally empty under the skin! Never seen anything like that! Costco roasted chicken is $4.99 and 3 times the size.

Needed some turkey rub on Thanksgiving, the butcher gave it to me free of charge, wide variety of high quality groceries, meats and cheeses.
