Absolutely excellent coffee, service/staff, sitting areas, and the avocado toast was delicious. My favorite coffee bean is “The Answer”, but I have yet to be disappointed with any of their beans! This really is top tear beans and the best place to go for coffee connoisseurs. This time I’m trying their “Ethiopia” beans. I got a Matcha late, which was absolutely decadent, no need to add anything to it. The staff was incredibly helpful in helping me pick a new flavor and explained the flavor profile of each different bean in detail. They have Wi-fi available to connect to and tables to sit and work at. Everything was spotless and kept very clean. I had no problem finding parking. I highly recommend this coffee house to those who are looking for a really good cup of coffee, great environment, and experience. This place is truly a gem in Aptos. I will be coming back here as often as I can!

Cappuccino is excellent, and of course the beans are top tier. And I was surprised how tasty the berry oats thing was.

Great coffee and beans. My biggest complaint is their hours. I have gotten there 3 times now right before they close and they have told me I am too late to get anything. If you really need a coffee get there at least 30 min before they close or they might not make you anything. They closed an hour early one day because they wanted a staff meeting. Why not wait till after hours to have a staff meeting if you are going to close at 3??

Favourite second office for getting work done. So glad they are open again for interior seating! Love their avocado toast and their curry potato pastry. They have great coffee and tea options as well. Friendly staff that make you feel at home. But dont tell anyone else about this place.

What a delightful cafe!We stopped here early on a Saturday morning and the place was quite empty. It got quite busy in an hour with a lot of local families stopping here.Service is excellent! The baristas explained the different coffees well and even gave us little samples to try before we made our decision. I really appreciate that, because it makes it so much easier to invest in a big mug of coffee if you can taste a few sips first.We sampled the Night Shift dark roast, The Answer, Ethiopia and Costa Rica. I liked the Night Shift the most. We got a mug to have here and will pick up a packet of the beans to take home. I also tried a Cappuccino and while the espresso was good, I liked the brewed coffee more.The food is excellent as well. We got the Savory Toast, which is a crunchy toast topped with garlicky lemony beet hummus and avocado. The bread itself is tasty and the hummus is incredible. Definitely try this! They also have a bunch of pastries sourced from a local bakery. We had the savory galette with goat cheese and roasted acorn squash. The pastry is just melt-in-the-mouth goodness with flavorful toppings. The other toasts and oatmeal options on the menu looked very interesting. The coconut creme and berries chia-oat porridge is delicious and creamy. Only piece of feedback is that I wish the fruits were layered with the chia/oat rather than just topped.Im loving the vibe and ambience here. Its bright and airy, cozy and comfortable. There is plenty of seating and some cool music. We have lost track of time and are completely enjoying our morning here reading, working and observing the local crowd of Aptos.

First timer here! I loved it so much I had to leave a great review. The staff was so friendly and hospitable as soon as I walked in. The cashier that was helping me was so personable and the baristas were so sweet, as well. I ordered their version of a cinnamon roll which was v crispy and wasn’t overly sweet (which I prefer). I also got the matcha latte since that’s what I saw on their Google preview and holy moly: BEST matcha latte I’ve ever had. It was so rich and had the perfect balance of matcha flavor. I am legit not going anywhere else for those, and am looking forward to trying the rest of their menu!

The staff sets Cat & Cloud apart from the rest. The coffee is great but the vibe and hospitality keeps me coming back every time I’m in town. Chris and Jared don’t just talk about the importance of a good staff. They hire people who are passionate about giving the customer an amazing experience when stepping into the shop.

Visited twice last weekend. Tried the drip(Dr. Congo) - solid roast. Bought a bag to try as a pourover.Given the weather I thought itd be good as a espresso tonic, so I tried to order one the second time. I was confidently handed mystery drip with a shot of mystery espresso poured in, and a would you like cream with that?... my dude, thats a redeye, not an espresso tonic.I left with the drink anyways because the server seemed genuinely clueless as to what an espresso tonic was, and since I was curious as to how the redeye would taste. Juicy mouthfeel, extremely bitter and roasty, with strong acidity that hits you before leaving a nasty bitter aftertaste and your mouth and throat feeling highly astringent. 10/10 would recommend if you need something to keep you awake.Overall mixed feelings about that experience, but the customer service was great, and Im enjoying the bag of Dr. Congo.

It was good but expensive. The avocado toast was great. Guacamole, arugala and cherry tomatoes. I wanted a white mocha. They didnt have white chocolate. I said okay. How about a caramel. Didnt have that ethier. Just had a vanilla.

Wow the customer service of this location was incredible!! I came in right at closing and they still served me coffee. My new favorite local coffee joint. They have single-origin coffee and paleo lattes. Cant wait for the lockdown to end so I can kick it in here and study. Oh, the baristas are extra-friendly too. Totally worth paying a little more for premium food and experience. Located near the entrance to Nisene Marks so you can get fueled up for a rad bike/hike.

Why does it take over 5 minutes for the cashier to take a single order for each person? I came in the morning with 4 people in front of me and had to wake over 20 minutes just to get my order in. Theres over 4 people behind me, and guaranteed thats going to take another 20 minutes. Thats 4 people!! Why ?Pastry is good though but coffees are tiiiiny .

I’ve been a Cat & Cloud fan for a while now. So of course I had to try their new location. As usual they didn’t disappoint. The new spot is awesome. Service is great and friendly, and coffee is delicious. Their food/pastries options are great too.

Loved the single origin coffees they offered on different days.(pour overs weren’t happening due to Covid-19 so they rotated a few varieties of coffee offerings) Employees were great! Super fun coffee shops(color and design), with overall great coffee (3rd wave options), good pastries and some nice tea options.

Love this place. Its huge and their is tons of room. Everyone that works here is super nice and helpful. The decor is my favorite! The little cat being friends with the little cloud is the cutest!

Always an excellent cup of coffee.

Typically great service however, they seem to misunderstand lines. If there’s a line of about 15 people, it seems inconsiderate to try to have a full on conversation with each person who orders a cup of coffee. My feedback is read the room: if it’s a high volume hour, speed it up for everyone’s sake.

No matter what time of day the staff is always happy to greet you. Makes you feel welcome in the place. Seating is usually ok but it can get crowded. Plenty of people working on computers etc. Lots of dog wakers stopping for a coffee. Enjoy. Great coffee!
