I love love ak mobile I had been stressing for days because I wasn’t able to get my car into a shop due to not being able to drive from the issue, I called Ak mobile and very next day Aaron came out and fixed my issue even before I got there !!!! 10/10 experience !!! I would recommended them if you have any issues or simply can’t drive your car into the shop they are the best route to go ! ☺️

Had issues with my car not starting and found Aaron on Google search. Not dissappointed. I called him on a Saturday just before close and had my car towed to him Monday morning. Aaron got right to rto work on my car and had it fixed in one day. He kept me updated by phone and explained everything. Very happy with his work and service. I will go back if I need any other work done to my car. Highly recommend.

A Mobile Mechanic does an excellent and fast job on keeping my 15 year old van going! No matter what it is, last time it was the shocks and struts, this time the windshield wipers were toast. Work is usually completed in one day and it is fixed! No returning for problems like I found at local dealerships. I highly recommend!!!

I had a hard time trusting the dependability of cars when I was searching for a used car around Anchorage. I was afraid of ending up with a lemon, so I took a couple of cars to Aaron at A Mobile and he was wonderful. He took time inspecting the cars and gave honest opinions, allowing me time to write down the info. He came off very kind, knowledgeable, and honest in a stressful time. He found one issue in a car which would have been over 5k to repairs and never could be noticed just from a test drive. I felt much more at ease when I finally made a purchase.

New to the area, I came here to have a block heater installed as well as some general maintenance on my car. I was extremely pleased with the quality of work and the friendly staff. They were quick to answer any questions and were very up front about the cost of parts and labor for what I needed. Definitely coming back here for future needs!

Fantastic service! Our vehicle was in a parking garage with a dead battery - no way to get it towed out of there, so we had to find someone to replace it on site. Jeffrey showed up right when he said he would with all the tools he needed - including lighting - and was in and out in about half an hour. This was an older vehicle and not just a matter of unplugging one battery and inserting another; but Jeffrey knew exactly which pieces and parts needed to be removed to get at the battery. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in need! Thank you Jeffrey!

When we called, April was very helpful and nice and made making an appointment quick and easy! Definitely recommend them for the connivence of them coming to you. Stop. Do not ever take your business to this location. This is the worst place I have ever been to in my entire life.When I went to pick up my truck it ran for 15 minutes and never, ever turned over again. That cost me $1,800. Not only did they neglect to listen to me when I told them what I knew the issue was with my truck, they didnt even fix the problem they had supposedly identified. I consistently warn individuals about this mechanic shop.

I have been a customer of this business since shortly after moving back to Alaska in 1989. I have trusted my vehicles to Jeffrey and the crew many, many times. As I live in the valley I have attempted at times in the past to try another shop closer to home due to convenience. The couple times I have done this ended poorly. I will not be doing it again. The repairs were overpriced and, frankly, I just dont have the trust for anyone else that I do with Jeffrey. Lets face it, most of use really dont know Jack about the intricacies of how our vehicles work. We are at the mercy of the shop to do right by us as we typically wouldnt know if we were being taken advantage of or if the work was performed correctly. As my children have grown they too have the piece of mind that comes with knowing that their vehicle is in good hands with A Mobile Mechanic. This is a long time Alaskan business that I would and have recommended without reservation to anyone.

I was very impressed with the level of service and immediacy of A Mobile Mechanic. Knowing that my infant son was in the disabled vehicle they gave our call priority and were on-site in less than 30 minutes. A-Mobile mechanic has really went above and beyond for my business and family. They have worked on my fleet trucks as well as personal family vehicles. Jeffery and his staff have always be open and honest with all repairs. So much so they have allowed me to see all aspects of repairs. Beyond this they will do there very best to get you in and out of the shop as quick as possible to be sure your vehicle is on the road. All repairs have been exceptional and if I ever felt I needed extra follow up on a repair they get on it fast and effectively. A-mobile staff is also friendly and very respectful. Quality shop, take your car here, is taken so many different makes and models, A-Mobile is A+!

Was stuck in a bind trying to get a vehicle shipped out the day I was flying back to my village, but couldnt ship it cause it was leaking oil and transmission fluid. Every single shop I called in town told me at least a week Id have to wait before they could see it, while Mobile Mechanic took my vehicle immediately, fixed it within 48 hours and gave me a very good price! Not sure what I wouldve done without them!

My experience with A Mobile Machine has been nothing but amazing!!!! When I was driving around in negative degree weather without heat, they got me in and taken care of THAT morning! Me and my fiancé have a Chevy truck who is literally our baby. I trust them to work on our Ursula any time!!!!!!! They are definitely my go to when Im in need of a reliable mechanic! These guys helped with buyers review and some needed work done on a Diesel Suburban I purchased recently. The owner and the other mechanics were extremely helpful and honest. There was no up selling of things that werent needed. While no one ever looks forward to going to the mechanic, Ill be using these guys again when needed.

Forgot about the appointment multiple times. When he finally did show up the last day he was 40 minutes late. Claimed to know all about the bus we were working on and that the key didn’t need to be on for it to start. I thought this odd and subsequently found out from every other mechanic what I thought to be true, the KEY NEEDS TO BE ON UP FRONT in the ignition. He also charged me $110 for the whole fallout fee after spending no more than 15 minutes trying to start the bus (which of course it wouldn’t because we didn’t have the ignition on up front/lost key). I wouldn’t mind the fallout fee but his shop was literally on the same block as my yard.I have doubts about anyone of any age who claims to know everything about anything. This was the case here and he was also dead wrong. Make your own judgment but I won’t be callin him back for the rest of the work.Zeb

My jeep started overheating and I had heard good thing about A Mobile Mechanic so I dropped it off Tuesday afternoon. We discussed what I thought was wrong, what they thought would be wrong, the scope of inspection and work to be performed, and a rough timeline of when it would be done. I left it there feeling that it was in trustworthy hands. Next morning I got a call explaining what they found wrong, exactly what they were going to do to fix it and verify that it was indeed fixed, as well as what it would cost me and how long to have it fixed. True to their word, my jeep was ready to pick up just a few hours later. My car was in their shop for less than 48 hours.After inspecting their work I am extremely satisfied and will be bringing my Jeep to their shop from now on.

I had A Mobile Mechanic install a CV Axel on my Mercedes and they saved me $800 dollars over taking it to the dealer. Its nice that they have a shop right in midtown close to my work. Would use them again in a heartbeat!

I brought my car in having no idea what was wrong with it and ready to pay way too much to get it fixed. When I went to a mobile mechanic they treated me like a person and not an ATM. They found out what was wrong and fixed it within a week and did not overcharge for parts or labor.I highly recommend them to anyone with car problems.

Agree with the unprofessional experiences posted prior.Only spoke over the phone but that was enough to turn me away and never look back. When the owner asked when would you like this done he repeated what I said and I could hear his wife in the background say enthuesastially NO and then the husband said they were all booked up.It sounded like they were not in the shop and doing something other than work, but thats is no excuse to treat a potential customer poorly and unprofessionally.Many other shops in Anchorage - choose another

Called to see about having my shifter cable replaced. I knew exactly what was wrong the vehicle already, just didnt have the means to fix it myself. The lady that answered the phone was extremely rude and condescending, speaking to me like I was an idiot. Completely unprofessional. They lost my business because of this. A Mobile Mechanic should seriously consider hiring someone else to take calls and make appointments for them because they are losing business from the sheer rudeness of the lady answering the phone.

Unprofessional, inappropriate atmosphere as well as staff using profanity. Over-charges for parts and labor. This place will charge as much as a dealership and will not fix the problem the first time to then tell the customer, Were not magicians or mind readers.

Did not call to confirm work to be done on vehicle, fixed something different than what was discussed, charged 50% markup on part, and the owner lady flipped out when confronted on lack of protocol.Although the part they fixed did need replacement, and still appears to function, it was not what i asked them to fix(still in need of fixing) and i was charged twice what i was quoted for original job(obviously because it was for a totally different job).The owner flipped out when i questioned why they didnt call first and charged such a huge markup(in fact, she then lied about how much she paid). Perhaps they need to charge 50%, maybe they dont, but to fix a part without telling the client what it will cost so they can refuse or accept, is just plain unprofessional.

Car in storage all winter and wouldnt start and was iced/snowed in to boot..... and I showed up in town without warning and called Jeffrey the Mobile Mech to bail me out.......again. The man just about stopped everything to get me back on the road again. He takes Mobile seriously. I think you can count on him! John

These guys rescued me a couple weeks ago and fixed my trucks brakes and more. I spent the afternoon in the shop and found them to be a friendly small business with high standards and great work ethic.

They are the guys you can trust in Anchorage. We are traveling from Catalonia to USA and got scammed when we purchased a van in Anchorage and they advised us so kindly saying to sell the van was the best instead of taking our money 5k$, quickly understood our situation. And gave us a hand in everything they could. All I can say is thank you well be allways in debt.

One of my rear axle seals went out during a business trip to Anchorage at the end of which I absolutely had to travel over 300 miles to get back to my place of work. He took it on the evening it had gone out and had it back to me (drove it to the hotel where I was staying) the next day. I found out later that he had gone and made sure the axle shop was staying on top of it because he knew I needed it back that day. The only way to say it is this guy totally saved my butt, and turned what could have been a huge disaster into a slight inconvenience. I highly recommend this shop for their service and positive attitude. They will take care of you. By the way, sorry this review is so late guys! We both thought the other was doing it.

Do not take your boat to this place to get repaired. This place is a ripoff. Carbuerator wasnt getting any fuel to it and he charged me $450 just to replace a fuel filter and tell me the diaphragm in my fuel pump was bad.

Ignored, disrespected, cussed at, and given average service for above average pricing. Will never return.Just call this joke of a shop on the phone and youll know. They dont even try to hide it.

I called looking for a mechanic the lady who answered had an attitude (BIG) and ignoring it to see if my questioned be answered. Got worse and then once i asked about her attitude she freaked out lol lol and cussed. Huge annoyance and tells me that there business is really poor. Dont go if you dont have too.
