Tori was absolutely amazing helping me find the perfect dress. The entire experience at Calvet Couture was incredible. She really listened to what I wanted and encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone as well. We ended up combining two dresses to create the perfect dress for me! Monique at Calvert Couture was so special! She took her time to really make sure that my daughter had an amazing experience and found dresses that she envisioned for her day. She was absolutely amazing and at the end my daughter ended up choosing a dress from the Penelope collection which she designed herself but never revealed that until my daughter told her she feel in love with the dress. I absolutely recommend her and couldn’t have asked for anyone better than her!!

What can I say?? Emily was an amazing consultant and I had the BEST experience at Calvet Couture! I sent Emily some ideas of what I was looking for before my appointment. I also told her I was keeping an open mind and totally open to trying different styles on. Based on my ideas, she pulled several dresses out ahead of time. My dress was the FIRST one that I tried on! I fell in love, it is perfection and I want to wear it every day LOL! Of course, I did try on all of the others, but came running right back to the first one. I asked her how often it happens that the bride ends up purchasing the first dress and she told me that it happens more often than you would think. I am sure that it happens a lot with her because she is a good listener and knows the inventory well, so she is well equipped to help a bride pick out her dream dress. Emily even opened up the shop again for me to come in with my daughter and stepdaughter so that they could pick out a few dresses for me to try on...and then we magically put their ideas together to find my perfect wedding dress. I couldnt have been happier with my experience and Emily was a gem to work with. I highly recommend her and Calvet Couture!

I had the best experience at Calvet Couture in Winter Park. I went to three bridal dress shops before this one, tried on probably 40 dresses, and started to feel hopeless and frustrated that I would never find my dress. Tori was the BEST stylist! Tori picked out dresses that matched my style and venue to try on. She actually picked the first dress I tried on that day, and ended up being the one I chose! Tori was so helpful and so kind throughout the process. I’m so happy I went to Calvet Couture, I wish I went sooner!

Emily was so wonderful for my shopping experience. I was able to bring my Mother in Law and two other family members. She was extremely professional and so fun and bright during my try on session. I had the privilege of having my bridal gown experience at Calvet in Winter Park and I wanted to share how phenomenal it was. I met with Monique back in June and she was absolutely amazing to work with. I went to my first appointment with my friend who had recommended them and my intention was just to browse around to get an idea of what I liked. Monique listened to what I liked and what I didn’t. She was patient, kind, and determined to make me feel comfortable. As a plus size woman, I truly dreaded dress shopping and here she was making me feel such at ease. I never felt out of place and there was absolutely no judgment. I felt like one of the girls! I ended up finding my dress which I didn’t expect at my first go. I came back with my mom for the second appointment. Monique went above and beyond to make sure my second appointment was just as memorable as my first so my mom and I could share that experience.Overall such a pleasant experience. Monique was fantastic from start to finish. Also my dress came early which I’m so happy about since I am doing an elopement. Everything lined up perfect for us and I am so thankful for Monique and Calvet. Thank you for such a memorable experience. I will highly recommend them to any future bride!

The ladies that helped me were very helpful. My low star review is mainly based on the limited selection, the fitting rooms being dusty, and the fact that several of the dresses I tried on had broken zippers, or the cloth was torn with holes. I also expected better quality fabrics for the prices being asked. After visiting a few boutiques, I found my wedding dress at Bridal Gallery, a store near the Colonial Towncenter. It had a great selection of beautiful classic, as well as modern dresses, that were more reasonably priced than this place. The owner altered my dress in house, and their customer service att was good. It’s been a while since my wedding so idk if the ladies that helped me are still working there or not. (Below is a picture of the dress I fell in love 🥰 with and bought there). Best of luck on finding the dress of your dreams, wherever it may be! 🤩

I ended up getting my dress from here because it’s beautiful. However, I was fat shamed while wearing my dress. The stylist/consultant kept reminding me how “difficult” it was to get into the sample size XS dress when all I wanted was to see how it would look on me, didn’t care about the size. And while I was wearing it, she kept telling the other stylists how much she loved the dress and how she was going to try it on after I leave. I wanted to ignore the whole thing since it was my first time trying on dresses and I didn’t care what I did or didn’t fit into, but to be constantly told how I was forced to squeeze into a small size, even after it was on and zipped up,’in front of my mom and sister, really made a negative impact on my experience. If anyone reading this doesn’t fully understand what #femaleempowerment is, this isn’t it.

Had the most AMAZING experience today! Said yes to the dress! Julia was incredibly helpful, conscious of my budget, and friendly! My bridesmaids were 15 minutes late, but I did not feel rushed at all. Julia made the day feel special but relaxed. No pressures to buy at all, but I did anyway! I cried when I put this dress on and knew it was the one. Was able to actually meet the designer of Penelope and Lex who is helping to design my dress for our wedding day! All staff was incredible. I could not have asked for a better day. The salon is FULL of gorgeous dresses. Selection is also amazing.

Calvet was the second bridal shop I went to, the first shop the Collection Bridal was an absolute nightmare! Me and my entourage ended up grabbing a drink before going to Calvet since the last store was a hot mess. When we walked in we were immediately greeted with smiling faces and were allowed to look at dresses. I love the selection of blush samples they had in the store and had such an amazing experience! They were very friendly and found so many gowns I liked. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I ended up settling on a customized dress and cannot wait to go back to get it started!

I got married two years ago but visited their boutique when it was in College Park, and when they moved to Winter Park and both times the staff were rude, condescending, and not warm at all. I am writing this review to give you an idea, if you are a WOC and/or soon to be Mrs. The first time I went to the College Park local, they had just opened and my friend and I were doing our morning walk and decided to go in. The ladies took one look and basically told us we needed to leave. Fast forward a few years later when I was engaged and I decided to give them another chance, and although I had an appointment, the attendant made every effort to make sure I knew I was in the wrong place, according to her calculations. This was a few years ago and I still remember how they made me feel. I will say to you as a bride, the dresses there are beautiful and affordable, but the service is lacking. If you can find a place that has the same quality of dresses but better reviews, go there instead. This moment in your life is meant to be beautiful in every way, dont risk it on a place like this where they might make you feel otherwise.

Francis is literally a wedding saver ! My friend had bridesmaids calling out left and right. I made my appointment one month in advanced because I was having four people come in from out of town (2 flying 1000 miles each) to be there with me. Two weeks before my appointment, I receive an email asking me if I’m interested in cancelling my appointment because there was a “long waitlist” for the Haley Paige trunk show. I respectfully said no, as this weekend was important to me.Upon arrival yesterday, the ladies on staff were not friendly, especially after I said I was not in the shop for the Haley Paige trunk show. When I was finally helped, I was told to go sit at a bridal station and my consultant would be right over. When no one came over, my maid of honor and I went to go look at dresses. We were approached by the owner saying since we didn’t have a consultant, we needed to go sit down and wait (we had been told at check in to take a peek at dresses to see what caught my eye).When my consultant came over, she was very sweet and polite. She assisted with getting my vision for the dress, but did not provide any dresses that really said “wow”. Finally, the owner asked what she could do to help. Upon telling her that she had an unhappy bride in her fitting rooms, she returned with three dresses. I wanted to start crying because they were the exact opposite of what I articulated, or thought I articulated.All in all, I did not feel like I was taken seriously, especially after having people come into town for share this special weekend with me. After leaving, I called the boutique asking to speak with the owner to express my opinions of my experience. I was told that the owner would not be able to call me for another week, even though I expressed it was urgent. When I received a call back, I was greeted with nothing but passive aggressiveness.Being an overwhelmed bride, I needed someone to take charge and help me, not get an attitude because I didn’t have the exact dress in mind.

Brides Beware: this was the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!I emailed this store to see if they carried a specific gown that I was unable to find elsewhere. I live out of state and specified that I would be traveling to Florida just to try on this gown and wanted to make sure it was available before I made travel arrangements. I was delighted to receive a response that they did have the dress and to “please let us know which location you would prefer to visit and we can make sure that specific style is available for you to try”. I scheduled my appointment for two weeks later, bought plane tickets and flew from New Orleans to Orlando.Upon arrival, I was told that the dress was not there but “was coming”. It had been sent out to a photo shoot the day before and was supposed to be back by now, but the assistant had not returned. It was VERY apparent that they had completely disregarded my appointment to try on THIS dress. It was suggested to me to start trying on other dresses and they were going to track down the assistant with the dress. After I put on a second dress, the consultant informed me that they still could not get in touch with the assistant and maybe they could “ship it to me or schedule another appointment”. I reminded them that I contacted someone at the store prior to booking my appointment 2 weeks ago, and that I had traveled specifically for this dress and was told it would be here. Naturally, I was very upset and stressed at this point and was unable to focus on any other dresses. When the consultant realized how upset I was getting, she said it was unlikely the dress was going to make it and that I should just leave and reschedule. I was only in the state for 4 days and was staying with my mother who lived 2 hours outside of Orlando. I explained that I would rather wait awhile until they can reach the assistant. She said the manager apologizes (the manager never spoke to me and left the store during all of this) and that they didn’t want to make me wait. I reemphasized that I didn’t mind waiting a few hours since I was already there and coming back was a greater inconvenience, since I did not live there. The consultant went to the back to try the assistant again, but at this point it was clear they did not want me in the store. We could hear her on the phone with the manager, and when she came back, she miraculously had a story that they finally got in touch with the assistant and that she had been in a car accident, was in the hospital, and maybe the photographer could get the dress from the car. If that dress was in a car accident so bad that someone was in the hospital, how was it possibly in any shape to try on? I’m not saying they lied, but it just seemed really unlikely. If that is the truth, I truly hope everyone involved is okay! However, it just seemed really convenient to have an excuse to get me to leave (which was the impression they were giving me the minute I started to get upset about the dress not being there). Accident or not, the bottom line is that if you know you have a customer FLYING from out of state (during a pandemic) to try on a specific dress, WHY on earth would you send it out on a photoshoot the day before?! If the shoot was already scheduled, WHY would you promise “to have that specific style available for you” two weeks prior to the appointment? The entire situation was shady and ruined what is supposed to be one of the best days of wedding planning. The day of the second appointment, Calvet called to let me know that the dress was back in the store and ready for my appointment! Again, pretty amazing that it was in try on shape after a car accident. If that was what really happened, I am sorry the assistant went through that and hope all is well now. Given the way it was handled, I obviously did not return. I did not want to give my business to a store that treated customers so poorly. From start to finish I loved my experience at Calvet Couture! The feel of this bridal salon was just so spacious and bright and cheerful and really is the perfect atmosphere to find your dress! They greet you with water & champagne the second you walk in the door. The staff is amazing and you can tell they love what they do. You can roam the shop to look for the ones you personally like, but they also do their own recommendations and I ended up going with the store’s recommendation! I can’t recommend this shop enough.

I had the great luck to have the store owner helping me with my appointment! She is WONDERFUL and the store is beautiful. All of the sizes are NOT sample size, meaning real people can fit in them! She thinks this is very important and it shows how thoughtful she is. I was so happy to work with her and while I didnt commit to a dress yet, I had a wonderful experience and loved being there.

I am in LOVE with my dress and cant thank the ladies of Calvet enough for all of their help! I drove three hours to visit this shop because I wanted a special Hayley Paige gown and they brought it in for me during a trunk show to try on. It was perfect! Im having a veil made to match it as well, which really tied the whole look together. Well worth the trip!

This was by far one of the best experiences I have had! Alex has made this boutique so inviting and calm, which is exactly what you need when you are trying on dresses. The store is big and open - not like other stores where you feel like you are in a warehouse - and is just gorgeous! She was so helpful in picking out dresses, and listened to what I wanted. If something was not in the price range that I told her, she quietly passed over it and did not make a big deal about a dress being out of my price point. Alex was quietly helpful and was not pushy in the least. I felt so relaxed and calm which was quite the opposite of the experience I had at other places.I was so impressed by the whole morning! The designers and dresses she chose are so unique and unlike anything you will find anywhere else in Orlando. It was important to me to find a dress that was beautiful but also unique and not like every other dress you see. After my 3rd visit to Calvet Couture Bridal, I finally said yes to the dress today with the help of the lovely Alexandra and Sarah!Sarah was so sweet and a trooper during my appointment today; even with losing her voice, she stayed with me the whole time and hunted down a dress for me to try on. There were at least 2 other appointments going on at the same time, but it never felt crowded or took away from my own experience. Alexandra even checked in a few times throughout my appointment and assisted with the process. The whole experience was so laid back and fun, I couldnt have asked for a better time.The dress I bought is the very first dress that Alexandra picked out for me on my first appointment based on my initial budget and stylistic preference. From start to finish I loved my experience at Calvet Couture! I got so many compliments on my dress, and the staff was wonderful to work with. Alexandra and Emily are amazing and you can tell they love what they do. All of my bridesmaids loved their dresses as well which never happens but they had cute things that were on trend my girls actually wanted to wear. I also needed a last minute pair of earrings (a borrowed pair didn’t work out) and so I came by and they helped me select a gorgeous pair that they were able to get in a week! I couldn’t believe it. I can’t reccomend this shop enough.

I had the best experience at Calvet working with Emily! I had put off dress shopping because I was nervous and she put me right at ease. It ended up being so much fun, and I picked an amazing Anne Barge dress that I love. I was even able to make custom changes to the gown so that it would fit me even better when it comes in. I cannot express how completely in awe of this store I am. Not only is it the most beautiful bridal shop in the Orlando area, but the staff was amazing! I had a truly exceptional experience with Alexandra at Calvet Couture - I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a wedding dress! I had visited two other places before finding Calvet Couture, and found those earlier experiences tedious and frustrating. I contacted Calvet Couture on a Monday night and was able to arrange an appointment the following day; right of the bat, I was pleasantly surprised that she was able to accommodate us with such short notice. Alexandra personally guided me around the store, keeping me within my budget as well as making excellent suggestions according to my preferences. Alexandra is kind, laid-back and patient; she made the whole experience comfortable and fun! As far as the selection was concerned, I was amazed by the quality and beauty of all the dresses in her store. She definitely has something for everyone. Above all, she has fantastic taste! Before visiting Calvet Couture, I dreaded the thought of undergoing 6 months of endless dress shopping, only to ultimately settle for an expensive dress that didn’t even excite me. My experience at Calvet Couture was simply perfect! Kristen, my bridal gown consultant, was welcoming, and very knowledgeable. She listened to my hopes and ideas for the style I was looking for and then helped me find several options that were right on point. Kristen gave such a personal touch to my appointment and provided an atmosphere that was fun and relaxed- my Mom, future Mother-in-law, and my fiances Aunts loved her! Kristen understood how important and special it was for me to wait for my sister to get into town so that I could show her before I made my final decision about my gown. She answered all our questions and even gave us added tips about how to find my perfect dress. The salon is beautiful, spacious and elegant with great lighting. I had the best experience at Calvet Couture Bridal in Winter Park! The stylists were so great to work with and since it was by appointment only, the store wasnt packed with brides (this overwhelmed me at the other shop I went to). The feel of this bridal salon was just so spacious and bright and cheerful and really is the perfect atmosphere to find your dress. They also recommended an amazing alterations place for me (Thread & Needle in Winter Park).

Their selection is varied enough to provide options for everyone, but each dress in their collection felt hand-picked. They were all beautiful and tasteful. There is very little sales pressure; instead, the focus is really on the experience of exploring what you want. I ended up with the dress of my dreams, and had a lot of fun along the way.

I came in with the bride and another bridesmaid for an appointment today and we had a wonderful time. We had a very different experience at another salon in Orlando and this was a breath of fresh air. Kristen B was very helpful, super quick, and was aware of the brides budget. As someone who worked in retail for five years customer service is very important to me. She took the time to listen to what the bride wanted and did not stray from the budget at all.When the time comes for me to need a dress, I will definitely be going there!!

Such a great experience shopping at Calvet Couture. This was the first place I went to and the place where I found my dream dress. There are so many options and the staff is amazing. The owner (Alexandra) actually helped me during my final appointment and she was the cutest and most down-to-earth person! She made my experience and made it fun for everyone that was there with me. I highly recommend making an appointment with Calvet Couture.

I bought a dress in August of 2018 and an employee that no longer works there was an amazing help and had the best experience. However when the shop called me to tell me my dress came in I made an accessory appointment to try on my dress with different veils and jewelry and the lady who helped me Emily, was almost rushing me out of the store. I couldn’t really enjoy the moment I’ve been waiting for for 8 months for this dress to come in because she was almost standing aside waiting for me to leave because it “seemed” like I was not going to purchase anything “extra” that day. It was very rude and she even left a couple times to go help someone else find a dress when that customer already had a sales person helping them. Let’s just say if you’re not buying anything at that exact moment, they don’t want you in the store. I’d have to think twice about recommending this place.

These ladies are true professionals of everything Bridal! The environment is a non-stressful, delightful shopping experience. Kristen was beyond helpful with a wealth of knowledge of design, materials, possible alterations/changes/options. They are also happy to share a list of preferred reputable vendors in the area. Love love love this store!! I found my perfect dress there and the women working there are such a delight to work with. They were very patient and not pushy at all. It never felt like they wanted me to just buy any dress. Instead it felt like they wanted to be a part of of helping me find my perfect dress for my wedding day. They were so respectful to my budget and never pushy. My friends have bought their dresses there and I would highly recommend that any bride visit Calvet!

Buyer beware!! You better pray that your gown is perfect when it comes in or they will ghost you and blame everyone under the sun but themselves. Go elsewhere and save yourself from a lot of aggravation!

I found the perfect dress at Calvet! I had pinned a backless dress on pinterest that I was in love with, and showed it to my consultant Emily and they HAD it! My family and I were in disbelief, and after sipping on champagne and trying on about ten other gowns I ended up saying yes to that dress. They had tons of beautiful gowns in store and the entire staff was so nice. I highly recommend shopping here!

I attended my bridal appointment with my mother and aunt and right from the beginning it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience for all of us. The salon has a wonderful selection of beautiful gowns and accessories. I had the pleasure of having the owner Alexandra as my consultant during my appointment and she kept my personality, wedding location, and theme in mind when helping me select my gown. I purchased, my gown, sash, and headpiece from Calvet and each order was simple and efficient. I had an amazing experience going bridal dress shopping here. I came with my mom, my sister and my best friend and we had a nice little back area to ourselves where I was able to try on dresses to my hearts content. I had 2 other appointments scheduled for that day, however, I canceled them after finding my perfect dress. I loved the fact that I never felt rushed or pressured. Various cozy nooks complete with comfy furniture, full length mirrors and pedestal stands create an intimate atmosphere for each individual customer.
