Did not receive a welcome when I came in. Sat for a few minutes before someone noticed me, even though they have a doorbell when someone comes in the door. They are adamant about giving you a “deal” when they are just pushy for customers to spend more money on accessories. The rep stayed with me throughout the whole process even while looking at phone cases to make sure I bought something…very uncomfortable. Never sent a receipt. On hold with Customer Service for almost an hour just for a receipt. Will not come back to this location. Please go anywhere else for service.

I recently visited this location to activate my new IPhone12. While 3 staff members waited around for customers I walked through the door, and no one greeted me. I proceeded to speak to one of the reps who seemed a bit rude. I told him I would like to “mirror” my information from my old phone to new phone. He was a bit reluctant but shortly started the process. Along the way he discovered a few thing, like the phone that was sent to me did not have the amount of gigabytes that I requested. But instead of apologizing for the inconvenience he shifted the blame on me. He proceeded to continue the downloading process and yet still found a way to continue to “blame me” for things that would mess up on his end. The process took over 2 hours and with my newborn silently sleeping the whole experience was completely uncomfortable for me. All the while his co-workers began pleasantly greeting other customers after me. The way I was treated was completely unacceptable and I will be sure to continue to share my concerns with corporate.

5***** review. We went there for the first time, my wife Tere Pizarro and me to get new phones and we went at 10am in the morning and we were attended by Mr. Ajay who was very professional, kind and helpful to us Seniors that need help sometimes with Smartphone new technology. Mr. Ajay was very friendly, humane and listened to us and answered all our questions without any problems. He has excellent Customer Service and we are Verizon Customer for a long time and this was the best time we were treated by a Sales Representative. We will Reccomend Mr. Ajay and this store without hesitation.

I have only been to this location once, and the customer service at this location was excellent. I went there Black Friday 2020. I especially applaud the gentleman who greeted us when we, and others, walked up to the line at the store entrance. As soon as we got in line he took our names for their queue and gave us an estimated wait time. He then updated us regularly as to how many people were in line in front of us and updated our estimated wait time. He was actually very accurate with the wait time we were given, and with the updates. He also wore a face mask, covering both his nose and mouth, the entire time we were there. When it was our turn he held the door open for us. He was so professional and courteous, that I would return just for him. The Verizon person we spoke with inside the store was also quite helpful.

My boyfriend and I got iPhone 12s last night at this location and overall the interaction was fine but one employee in particular who helped us rushed us through the process and kept threatening us saying the phones could be sold at any moment if we don’t hurry up. He also did not take my boyfriends old phone off the account so when we got home we could not activate the new one and had to wait on the phone for customer service for close to an hour. Also, he was supposed to add on phone protection which he didn’t nor process the trade in we asked for before he moved to work with someone else.

Very rude employee named James. The one with with ear gauges who just laughs at his guests when he cant find our order that was paid for already online. We wanted curbside pickup but when they couldnt find it we were forced to come inside to deal with it. We drove over an hour to pick up this phone because they had it in stock just to be disappointed by the poor service and having to go inside the location. Anyway they didnt find our order and we had to pay for the phone in store again even though we had our confirmation number from our online purchase. 0/10

Long time customers. Is there 1 person in this store that is trained to actually FIX a problem with a phone? 2 weeks of paying for a service on a non working phone. My son is newly driving with no connection. Tech support guy didnt answer when WE CALLED HIM BACK at designated time to reset phone. Another trip to useless store. How many people does it take to reset or fix a network issue on a phone? If this is what verizon now does to customers paying for .service, we out. If my son cant use his phone in an accident, youll be getting a call. From a legal team. I expect this issue resolved . Call us..if you can find the number..well be in touch.

This store is utterly useless. Every time I go, I know more about phones and services than the associates do. There are never any model names or descriptions for the phones on display. Never any prices anywhere. They never have the same offers you see on Verizon.com. You ask them about any offers or deals and they look at you like they are from the 1800s and have no idea what a phone even is and tell you to look online.What is the point of this place?

I went into this store on a busy Saturday with two toddlers. It could have been a nightmare but most definitely was not. After being rushed through a haphazard set-up of my iPhone at Costco, I was left with a phone that contained none of my previous texts, apps, emails, or call history. I was promptly greeted (as was everyone that walked into the store) and my problem was resolved after extensive troubleshooting from general manager Chris. I will return to this store for all my Verizon/iPhone needs. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive. The store was busy. The customers were added to a customer list upon entry and taken care of in the order they entered. It was orderly and organized. And, not to mention, the store did not earn a penny from me as my phone was already purchased and my service already established. That says a lot!

Ongoing problem with one of my 5 lines. I have spent around 4 hours with customer service. The store gave me a number to the warranty company that has been disconnected. The tech person that was going to solve all my problems talked me into a more expensive plan saying it would cover a phone replacement for free. Now my bill is higher and the warranty company still wants $149 to replace the phone. The customer service is nonexistent. Can’t talk to a real person without waiting forever. I am not waiting anymore and I will be spinning the wheel of mobile phone service once more with a new provider. I will never use Verizon again.

I went to Verizon in Clermont to replace a cracked screen protector for my iPhone. I didn’t know that it had any kind of warranty, nor did the salesman ask me where or when I purchased it. He was only too happy to sell me a new one for $40. He told me ai would receive a receipt by email (which I never did). As I’m leaving he gave me instructions to register my new purchase for a lifetime warranty. I went home and attempted to do so, and noticed I had already purchased one a couple years ago - the one I just replaced. I went ahead trying to register the new product, but because I wasn’t given the packaging or a receipt I couldn’t fill out the required information to register my product. I tried calling the store repeatedly, but their phones were apparently busy. I’ve never had that experience with another business, and certainly wouldn’t expect that to be the case with Verizon. I drive back to the store and when asked why I was here I explained what happened and my complaint was escalated to the manager. He told me they never check to see where an item was purchased or to see if it might be under warranty, that is the customer’s responsibility. Disappointing, but fair enough. He then told me that Zagg just started their lifetime warranty on screen protectors the end of last year, so mine would not have been under warranty anyway. I found out later this was not true when I was able to successfully get mine replaced through Zagg, no problem. Now the crux of the issue. I asked the manager if I could get a refund for the one I purchased today. He said He would be happy to do so, but I had to return mine today, meaning my phone would be vulnerable to damage until I got a new one from Zagg. I asked him why I couldn’t return this one when I got my new one, since they had already trashed my old one. He told me it was impossible because their computer system greys out the field they need to check to allow such a return, unless the return is done on the same day of purchase. Really? I am certain I was lied to at least once, when he told me the lifetime warranty was a new deal, but I suspect I have been lied to repeatedly. I definitely will not be returning to this store, and I am not sure whether I will see Verizon the same way as I did before this incident.

I know it’s easy to hate going to a place like this but this store is different. The service is always quick and helpful. I’ve had employees go out of their way to make sure we were satisfied.They have never pressured me into buying extra items or services.At times, just like any retail store, you might have to wait longer than usual but they have ample workers who try their best to quickly serve.I’ve always been impressed with this location.

I called earlier in the week to make sure the phone I wanted was there, I was told there was plenty in that color and I would be fine. When I arrived, they had the phone there and there was an issue with it that had to be called in. This was fine, these things happen, I told it would be 10 minutes. Halfway through waiting, I was reassured everything would be okay. I was fine with this, its not their fault the phone wasnt able to scan. Almost 40 minutes later the sales guy came over and asked if the manager spoke to me, I said no and proceeded to tell me that they could not sell my that phone because it was somehow in transit since an October shipment and was in a weird state of limbo. It was also the last phone they had in stock. The experience itself was fine(hey stuff happens) until I realized I was lied to earlier in the week and waited around for almost a total of an hour because no one had wanted to tell me the news that I couldnt be sold the phone. When I asked if they could call other stores to see who had it in stock, I was told they couldnt do this but could ship it to me. In the past, other stores have been called when this happened, so I knew this was false. Of course at this point I asked about me calling earlier in the week about having the phone in stock and was told that the phone I wanted was highly popular and almost ran out. (Yet somehow this phone was part of an October shipment?) Why wasnt I told this when I called earlier in the week? Overall, it could have been handled better and I dont appreciate being lied to and avoided. Highly dissatisfied with my experience and upsetting I had to wait almost an hour for nothing. I will look for my phone at a different location.

It has a clean workspace, but when my moms phone was glitchy, we went to Verizon. This one if we are being specific. They said nothing is wrong with it even though when she called, no one could hear her on the other end. Also, I dont understand why they dont have iPhone 8 cases on display or why they dont offer iPhones to people who have been with them for years such as us. Only certain employees are kind.

Went in for a couple of different items, and while I was talking to one of the reps, they said verbatim that there is absolutely no such thing as 3g cell service. Not only that, but clear an concise questions about plans(such as whether or not I could add a non phone device to a prepaid plan) took entirely too long to get a concise answer. If I wanted to go visit a place of business that constantly used confusion as a sales tactic, Id go to a used car dealership.

The people at this store are profoundly unhelpful. I sent my senior citizen mom to this Verizon Wireless to complete the process of transitioning from another phone provider to Verizon. I did this because I live in a different state. Addam (and current supervisor) haphazardly set her up such that she could not receive incoming calls. Rather than troubleshoot with her or calling technical support to resolve the issue, they blamed the previous cell phone provider. She waited for three hours insisting that she obtain assistance. They continued to insist that the problem was the previous provider. I had to call Verizon myself and troubleshoot the matter with them. Within 20 minutes the issue had resolved. I SENT MY MOM TO THE STORE SO THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE TO TAKE TIME OUT FROM WORK TO ADDRESS ANY TECHNICAL ISSUES DURING BUSINESS HOURS--OR FOR THAT MATTER DURING ANY HOURS. I AM LIVID. THESE PEOPLE ARE THE EPITOME OF INCOMPETENCE AND THEY SHOULD ALL RECEIVE SUSTAINED, CRITICAL FEEDBACK AND MONITORING UNTIL THEY GET THEIR INCOMPETENT ACTS TOGETHER.When I contacted the manager to express my concerns, he diminished them and refused to commit to providing feedback and monitoring to his employee.

This store is amazing. I like a lot of the below reviewers had a not so stellar experience in the past at this location. I ran into a situation that I had to go into Winter Garden location as I was pressed for time. I went into the store expecting the same glum attitudes. I was surprised by the drastic change. Dukes and fellow staff have been on the ball. I think the biggest turn around in this store is management. Chris runs the store in such a way that it creates a positive vibe you can see in the attitude of his staff. Happy staff is a key component in great customer service. I have also been impressed with Chriss follow through on several things he has worked directly on for me.

My family and I went into this store tonight to upgrade four iPhones to the newest iPhones and also to add a line for another iPhone for our son. We came in before 8pm, and the store closes at 9pm. It was moderately busy, but there were at least 6 employees working at the time. No one greeted us when we came in. An employee walked past us at least half a dozen times and didn’t say one word to us...not even “someone will be with you asap.” After about 20 minutes of standing around, I went up and told another employee why we were there and how no one had said even one word to us yet. He apologized for the delay and finally took my phone number to add us to the waitlist. Well another 25 minutes later (at 8:45), an employee finally approached us (which happened to be the same one that walked past us half a dozen times without saying a word). We told him exactly why we were there and we already knew exactly what we wanted. Things went from bad to worse from that point. There were so many loopholes just to upgrade our phones and add a line, and of course it was “too late” to do anything at that point because the store was closing in 15 minutes, which wasn’t our fault. The employee who was helping us obviously wasn’t interested in our business because he wasn’t being helpful at all. I understand that he probably just wanted to go home, but he acted like he couldn’t be bothered with us. Maybe they don’t work on commission? We ended up leaving the store with no phones. We’re taking our business to another Verizon store tomorrow. We’ve been loyal Verizon customers for almost 10 years. We even purchased our last set of phones from this store exactly 2 years ago...never again.

I am a frequent visitor of this location. The customer service service has always been decent, and they were always willing to work with me. I went in this evening and have never felt so uncomfortable in my life. I had a defect on my phone (green stripe to the right of the OLED screen), and I was asking for advice. Instead of pointing me in the right direction, Vernon blamed the issue on me, said I should contact insurance, and pay a $200 fee for a phone with a program defect. When I said that doesnt seem right, he tried to push me into getting a new phone. The other times I have been here, my boyfriend has been with me. This time, I was alone and I felt they were trying to take advantage of me because I was by myself. Its very disconcerting to see a company use these sales tactics on people, and I will not be returning.

There are good employees and bad employees at this store, and we got to experience both. 1st time we went to the store to buy a phone and set up an account, and everything went great. The second time, when we set up another phone on Verizon, we ended up getting an employee who did not know what to do and took more than 2 hours to add a brand new phone bought at the store to the account. The high prices and controversy surrounding Verizon is also making me want to switch carriers.

The lady that helped us originally was wonderful. The store and follow up was not. The store has products on display on the floor that are not only out of stock but have been discontinued. Then 3 days later the glass protector on the phone broke because of not being put on correctly. We called the store and asked about getting it replaced. They said they could and had it in stock. We stopped at this location on our way to Orlando because we had to meet a family member to do all that needed to be done with the account. So we drove 45 minutes and 60 miles. Then what we needed was out of stock. They had nothing to offer except sorry. Very poor service once they have your money.

If they had a “0” STAR I would of given to them. We have been Verizon customers for more than 15 years and Today I had the worst customer service approach attitude from one of their Verizon associates. The attitude and the faces he made were insane until I told him that I had a Corporate Verizon cell phone and I didnt need them. I told him that we were looking to check AT&T or T-Mobile which I had in Germany for over 7 years without a single issue and the plans were not killing us like Verizon is. I am okay paying for as long I can get the proper customer service and with this pony tail joke associate I would leave Verizon in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor and avoid going to Verizon Wireless off Daniels in Winter Garden, FL. If you could drive another few miles go to the one in Clermont, FL or even Orlando, FL. I will definitely not renew my contract with an attitude the way this joker had. Winter Garden Village Verizon Wireless needs definitely a better management team. If I was the manager I wouldn’t let that happened and I would of placed that associates on the side I explained him is all about attitude and customer service satisfaction because believed me VW is the most expensive wireless company in the market. They definitely have a good coverage but Spectrum is now using their antennas so you get the same service way lower than VW. I even told the associates if they have any plans or deals for Disabled Veterans and he just ignored me. Bad Business but I have completed a correspondence with BBB.

Terrible. The representatives say one thing, but when the bill comes out theres a bunch of other fees they didnt mention and they never stand by their word. They tell us to get this and that, which are apparently cheaper, but didnt mention they were two year contracts and we got locked in for something that costed more. Would not recommend at all.

Sales Representative lied! Was told promotional tablet was free,said bill would be the same weather I took it or not! Now i am locked in a two year contract with a tablet that will cost me $280. Manager wouldnt even call after talking to corporate.
