Really nice people reasonable prices

Bought a mattress and tv from here. Spent well over 3 grand. Wanted to buy a laptop, at the time of purchase he just grabs the laptop off the shelf and hands it to me with the charger. No box or anything. They want $400+ for this POS. Thats not all. I get home with the laptop, browse the internet....the people who owned this laptop before me still had all of their info on it (credit card info, SSN, address, phone number)...THEY DIDNT EVEN FACTORY RESET THE LAPTOP. Great security. Oh and I was late with one payment, had great communication with them, but still called and harassed days after. RAC is trash and I don’t recommend.If you delete this comment, I will post more about this place on more social media.

I had rented a living room suite and not ling after first payment was made we ended up in a medical situation that took us out of the house for almost 3 months. I stayed in contact even kept asking them to go puck it up when i knew someone would be there and finally after 117 days they picked it up. I went back to them today in order to get a stove in time for Thanksgiving due to ours went out and i was told that if i wanted a stove i had to pay them a payment of over $1000..... The store manager would not get on the phone just kept telling her employee to tell me what she said.... This is the most unprofessional place.

It’s not s bad company don’t get me wrong but there is a guy named Dan that works there. He is very rude and his customer service skills suck. We returned all of our items because of him. We were good paying customers we may of been a day late due to paycheck clearing but we least called and always paid.

I love Miranda, shes super kind and very polite. Well informed on deals n policy. I would hire her.

They don’t answer the phone. They take messages and never call back. They give false information. If you can find somewhere else to shop, I suggest you do. Or go to the Harrisonburg location, they’re way more helpful!

This place is amazing! The people really make it 10X better also. I’ve dealt with them for several years now and just ONE example of their efforts...I’ll never forget the day when it was pouring rain and thundering soooooo bad, I live in the middle on nowhere pretty much and my drive way is very awkward and they still tried to deliver a HUGE appliance that would not fit through my door, while they was standing out in the pouring rain trying to figure every way to get it in there. I give these guys huge props! They go above and beyond to keep their customers happy!!

I have an open account and a good history of paying off previous items. So when an unexpected electrical problem in my Apt and blew up my television, I called over there to see if they had any open box specials or the like.The CSR who assisted me was wonderful. They had 1 open box special in the size I wanted. Because of my account history and that Im on a fixed income and dont get paid until next week, she cut the cash price in half and only required a 1st payment of 10% of what I will be paying in the future. She told me she did it specifically because I have a good history.I know most people consider Rentacenter a RIP off. And it is if you have cash to pay. But if you have to have a payment plan, it can actually be substantially cheaper than putting it on your credit card. The 6 month same as cash price is competitive to other big box stores. And if you find that you can pay it off after the 6 months, they take the remaining total price owed and divide it in half and thats all you pay.However, depending on your credit terms you may pay a substantially higher total price if you put it on a credit card and dont pay it off early. So depending on your circumstances, Rentacenter can be a blessing and the CSRs have a tremendous amount of negotiating room, so it pays to keep your account in good standing!

Nice stuff but end up paying too much even paid off in 6 month same cash...but counted weekly tax and insurance ...paid almost dubble compair to cash cost...but Denny the store manager hes cool man
