I’m not a big sweets guy, but when I want it, I want it! When you walk in the blast of smells that hit your nose is amazing!! All of those treats laid out before you is just a foodie overload!! If you are in Williamsburg & need to satisfy your sweet tooth, you have to stop by this place!

Place is amazing. Great Desserts. Everything from icecream, fudge, candy apples, cookies and etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything is fresh and delicious. We ordered icecream and than ordered fudge to take home. This little gem is located in Williamsburg. We will definitely be visiting again next time we are in the area.

Wonderful ice cream. Not overpriced given where you are and the experience. $42 for 6 waffle cones in a tourist area is what I expect. Line out the door but we got in and out in less than 10 minutes. Staff was great. Will definitely be returning next time we come back to Williamsburg!

This is a great ice cream shop and had a friendly staff. I have been to Kilwins in New Orleans and Little Rock. Now in Williamsburg. They were all great, with high quality ice cream and freshly made candies.

We walked into Kilwins Chocolates and Ice Cream in Williamsburg, VA ONLY to use their restroom, but you know what happened! We ended up sampling and buying sorbet, ice cream and fudge! The most remarkable thing was how accommodating and caring the staff was. The young lady who served us went downstairs to get a brand new container of sorbet and scoop just to ensure there would be no cross contamination of allergens. That is customer service! Best ice cream in Williamsburg. The hot fudge and caramel sauce is what makes it so great. I recommend getting everything in the waffle cone bowl. It is expensive, but worth it. You get your moneys worth.The fudge is really good as well.

I highly suggest the ice cream and fudge. They are worth stopping at if you are in the area. I was a little disappointed with the caramel apple, but that was mostly due to the apple itself, rather than the candy on it.There are plenty of options for buying a gift box of candy goodness for someone.

Very overpriced for average, at best, ice cream. I wish the prices were shown earlier, as we waited in line for 15 minutes to learn it was 6 bucks for a single scoop. The girl that helped us was not very polite, they were out of cups for milkshakes, and their card reader was down. Thats something they should say when you walk in. Luckily we had just enough cash. I recommend trying someplace else.

This is definitely a place you want to stop into when in Colonial Williamsburg. They have several types of fudge for you to try before you buy. They also have chocolates and other treats. You can also get ice cream and milkshakes here, too. This place does pretty good business year round.

Ice cream was delicious we stopped by twice on our vacation to enjoy! However, make sure you sample the fudge before buying it- we bought 6 slices ($40+ worth of fudge) and got it home to find out it’s stale, hard, and crumbly. It’s really awful and we’re throwing it all away. So sad!

Delicious homemade ice cream. Nice assortment of flavors. Settled on marshmallow smores in a cup which was rich and creamy.

We came for the ice cream and left with 3 giant slices of fudge.... AND ice cream. We walked in close to closing time but Hannah greeted us with a big smile and easy conversation about the offerings, the town, and more. We sampled almost every flavor of fudge, and a few ice creams flavors, each one better than the next. The sweets were delicious and service was perfect! Well definitely be back... Probably within the next few days.

OMG. Amazing Ice Cream. I had the Applied Pie flavor in a waffle Bowl.Outstanding. Not a sugary flavor and I had 3 scoops.The store was bright and spotless and the girl who helped us was great. We tried multiple flavors and she was very patient. Will def have again. Theres a few places in NY but mostly on the Island.

My mother was having her 90th birthday this week and when I asked her what kind of “cake” she wanted she said “I want Gingerbread cookies from Raleigh Tavern bakery. They are the only people who make them like my grandmother. Unfortunately we found out that their bakery is shut due to Covid. Thus started my sister’s quest to find a replacement the day before her party. We were so fortunate to speak to Allison at this bakery. When my sister told her my mother’s story, she said “I can make them tonight, and will see if I can find their recipe.” I can tell you she delivered! My mom was so happy and touched that someone would go out of their way to make her birthday so special. Thank you Kilwins, and especially Allison for going out of your way!

5 ice cream shops in colonial Williamsburg and this is by far, not even close, the best. Their ice cream is off the scale, and couple that with fudge and Carmel apples and their is no better dessert downtown! Stop in and check it out for yourself and enjoy!

Ive only ever gotten the fudge here and its delicious. Made fresh everyday, its creamy and melts in your mouth. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Get as many samples as you want! You can also buy colonial ghost tour tickets here but ITS CASH ONLY. I didnt know that, thankfully one of my party had cash. The tour is also cool but thats a different review.

Just left the Colonial Williamsburg location disappointed after being blatantly ignored by the male staff member serving ice cream. I arrived with my daughter when only one other customer was inside the store and stood beside the ice cream while the other customer was being served. The guy serving the ice cream could see that my daughter and I had been waiting for several minutes but once some other customers arrived he walked right by us and began taking orders from the customers who arrived after us. I can safely say that I will never be going back to this location and will be sure and tell everyone that I know how awful the customer service was. I frequent Colonial Williamsburg often with my family because I actually live off of Jamestown road but I will be sure to go elsewhere for ice cream.

Bright and cheerful atmosphere, amazing treats, friendly and fast service and its super cool to see them making the fudge and chocolate treats right there in the front kitchen. Very clean and organized. So colorful. Just a delight for the senses!

I came in as a passerby in town and glad I sampled. The caramel smelled amazing - I was hoping they would have some to sample! I bought a slice of double dark sea salt fudge, which seemed a bit overpriced, however the flavor and product was good. The double dark should have been more chocolate, less sugar, but it was smooth and creamy. The caramel apples looked great and Id be interested in one next time, if I come back. Wonder if their ice cream is homemade...

My girlfriend and I visit Kilwins at least twice a month. They have incredible ice cream with delicious flavors. You get your choice of sugar or waffle cones, a bowl, or milkshake. The price is moderate, but in my opinion more than worth every cent. They also have caramel and candied apples, and various types of fudge. I highly recommend Kilwins to anyone who enjoys ice cream or fudge.

Special Gingerbread CookiesWe were celebrating my mom’s 90th Birthday and she asked for Colonial Williamsburg, Raleigh Tavern Bakery gingerbread cookies. Unfortunately with COVID-19, the CW bakery was closed. I had one day to figure out how to get gingerbread cookies that were made the colonial style for the party Fortunately, Allison the pastry chef at Kilwins, Williamsburg, came through for us. She found the Raleigh tavern cookie recipe Online, packed 4 dozen up In a box, and had them Ready for curbside pick up at 7am so we could make the long drive to Northern VA for the party. I snuck one on my way and it was delicious! The cookies were a true hit. My mom said “these taste just like the gingerbread cookies my grandma made”. My heart melted and I am so appreciative of Allison for her “Can Do” spirit. You really came through for us.

The aroma of Waffle cones drifted from inside. Like the wail of the sirens it called me. I was helpless. I had no choice but to step in and take in the sweet smells of the most amazing chocolate shop Id ever had the pleasure to enter. To my left, the cones. To my right, a beautiful woman making fudge. Was I in Heaven? No, she replied, youre in Kilwins. I sampled the fudge and it was delectable. I sampled several as a matter of fact. Then I sampled ice cream. As many flavors as the lovely young woman would allow, which was all of them. Each one was among the very best. I had found dessert nirvana and I was never going to leave. However, that wasnt possible so I got a hot Fudge sundae and made my way outside. I returned the next day for a shake and more chocolate. The staff members are all beyond compare. This is what all other stores aspire to be. By Grabthars hammer, Kilwins is the best.
