By far the most pleasant car purchasing experience I have ever had. Jennifer Pratt not only has magical hair, but was wonderful to work with. She somehow was able to turn my 3-6 month car order wait time into about 6 weeks!! (probably her hair powers) I highly recommend Classic Kia, it was well worth the long drive and I love my new car!

I live out of state and was having trouble finding the specific Stinger GT2 color combination that I wanted at my local dealerships. After completing a search online, I found that Classic Kia had the exact car I had been searching for. I contacted several local dealerships hoping they would be able to assist me in getting that specific car. Every local dealership told me that an additional $3k-$5k would be added to the MSRP due to new car inventory shortages. This lead me to contact Classic Kia directly. Wayne informed me that the other dealerships were adding to their prices unnecessarily and assured me that was not a practice they believed in at Classic Kia. After speaking with him, I found that not only were they not going to price gouge me but they were also giving me a rebate. The professionalism and knowledge that Wayne provided during our conversation made the decision a simple one for me. He put my mind at ease about the process, as I have never driven out of state to purchase a car. I was very nervous that once I made the trip and arrived that they may try to change the numbers on me but none of that happened. I had reached out via phone to purchase a specific car I was searching for. After putting down a deposit I saw they had immediately taken down the listing on their website which I greatly appreciated.From beginning to end at the dealer, Wayne and Sean were extremely helpful and created a smooth process. While I was paying MSRP for a specific car/trim (as expected), they did not try to mix in any additional fees or costs. As a first time car buyer this made the process very relaxing.The car was ready as expected and they gave me a lot of freedom to make sure everything was right. If I had any questions they were able to answer or had another staff member who knew available. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend this location to anyone, especially new car buyers who are intimidated and worried about extra fees and “dealer tricks”.

I recently purchased my second vehicle from Classic Kia and it was the best experience. I pre ordered the Telluride back in April and even though there was a wait…I am happy I went with Classic Kia. Classic Kia went off the MSRP and not a penny over. I visited other dealerships and all were charging $4,000+ over the MSRP but not Classic Kia.

NO INTEGRITY- My mother took car in for a routine oil change and ended up being charged $750 for a 30K mile maintenance package in addition to the oil change. They did not outline the service being provided in writing and ask her to sign anything, so she was under the impression that they were only going to do a check up/inspection of the car, not actually do all the work. They claim that the agreement to perform the service was verbal, which is completely unacceptable, especially when dealing with someone elderly that is being charged almost $800, more than half her income for a month! There should be no ambiguity when charging someone that much money. They as a business should be 100% sure that the consumer understands what they are agreeing to and that there are no surprises. Had they been clear in explaining to her what they were planning to do and how much it would cost, she would NEVER have agreed to pay them more than half of her entire income for the month on car services that were COMPLETELY unnecessary.Spoke to the service dept. manager and assistant manager and they were rude and seem to want to justify their actions of taking advantage of an elderly woman by bullying her and telling her that her car needs this work done.......really? Wiper blades? cabin air filter? Antifreeze flush? Oil gasket? $750?? NOT NECESSARY on a car with less than 40k miles, this is for sure a nice to have for people on a very limited income. They didnt even have the common decency to apply a coupon to help save any money.In addition, they blatantly lied to me and told me that my mother signed off on the work on paper, then had to admit later that was not the case. Then they weirdly told me that they recorded their conversation/agreement with my mother to try and bully me into paying the bill. Terrible- No integrity. Preyed upon the innocence and naivety of an elderly woman to their own selfish advantage.Make sure you get your services in writing with a price before they do anything! Also beware that apparently they are recording your phone calls/conversations without your knowledge. At least that is what the manager told me.Mike did slightly reduce the overall cost after we discussed it, but they still sold an unnecessary, non-critical, expensive services resulting in us having to pay money that we dont have.

We had a great experience working with Jennifer. We pre-ordered a Telluride in April and it arrived in July, right on schedule. The cost was MSRP which is significantly better than other dealers in the area. We are happy we went with Classic KIA. We also had a great experience with Mike and his team in service. All around a great place to purchase a car.

He was excellent and is just straight up, a great guy to work with! I purchased a Telluride from him and could not be happier! The best experience! I went in just to look at a vehicle I found online. Tracey set me up with an appointment & I went in for a test drive and left with a new car. Jennifer is phenomenal and never used any of the stereotypical garbage you get elsewhere to work with me and get me in the car I wanted. She is super friendly, easy to talk to and Sean and Yoshi were just as great. I purchased a Kia 3 days ago at Classic Kia in Waukegan. The experience was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had! (I, like so many others, detest the car buying process based on considerable previous experiences.) The easy, honest and smooth process began with Tracey Plante, their internet rep. She gave me the factual info I wanted and directed me to Sean, the manager. He and Wayne Ricks, the sales associate, were both phenomenal-HONEST, no game playing, no bait & switch, no having to wait endlessly for monetary details or financing. I came in with a quote from Tracey, they honored it, went a bit lower, and it was a done deal. Wayne went out of his way to explain every detail of the car, set up phones, etc. Both Sean and Wayne treated me respectfully and made the purchase really fun. Fair, fun, easy and honest! Who would imagine a car experience could ever be like that?!!

Both of my cars needed replacing in the last 12 months. I went to Classic Kia and worked with John Plewka and settled on a KIA Forte for my first car that my wife primarily drives. There isnt anyone else I would recommend to purchase your next Kia from other than Jennifer Pratt. She is not only knowledgeable about the cars she sells, but is also an excellent listener, communicator, and most of all, a genuine person. Recently bought my very first car here. Walked in a little nervous but thankfully Pedro was there to help me. He made the process so much easier and didn’t hesitate to answer any questions I had. I bought a 2018 Toyota 4Runner next door at Classic Toyota and saw many of the Toyotas and Kias had these sharp looking black out packages installed. I inquired and was told that Mike, the service manager at Classic Kia was responsible. I talked to him about what I wanted done (powder coat the factory rims, black out the badges, remove the SR5 badging and add running boards) and he worked his magic. I am really happy with the work their service department provided to me.

My review is long overdue. I waited 6 hours at this location for my car to be serviced. Response was, it’s not even the brand we sell. My family WAS a longtime customer of Classic. They failed to see this, I complained to the head manager and the answer I received was “tough”. Again, they failed to see the value of having a family that purchased several cars from them. We like to deal with one place, looks like we found someone better than Classic.A simple tire rotation and oil change shouldn’t take 6 hours if you were one of the first customers there that day!

Spoke to Tracy over the phone and told her my situation with my credit and she made it seem like everything was good and that they could help me. Go in a couple days later and she wasn’t there so they stick me with some random dude that really wasn’t trying to make a sale and on top of that I offered to put down 3,000 dollars and he started asking for a co-signer after I told him what was going on. POINT IS THEY DONT CARE ABOUT HOW MUCH MONEY YOU HAVE THEY WANT YOUR CREDIT TO BE GOOD!

I live in Wisconsin but found Classic Kia on a search. The Wisconsin dealerships were adding on $2000-$3000 above MSRP. Picked up my car today!! Jen was ready and the paperwork took 10 minutes! My daughter needed a car for commuting to school. She had her heart set on a Kia Soul. We started out at Classic Kia of Waukegan with Jennifer. After looking at other vehicles and visiting with other dealerships, we ultimately ended up back at Classic Kia with Jennifer. I was very pleased with her hospitality and my daughter is pleased with her Kia Soul.

Service department is a 50/50 depending who you talk to. Jose great friendly customer service driven good guy. Others not even close.Sales department not great but not bad.Finance department absolutely horrible they will add a warranty on the smell of the car if they could.Warranty also absolutely horrible save your money for a rainy day. I purchased a tire warranty that was very heavily priced only to have them not honor their warranty.

This is the dealership to go to Classic Kia for a Kia. If you are looking for the upmost attention to customer service quality. Your time is valued here. I highly recommend to at least visit for any Kias your seeking especially the Telluride. I did not feel rush nor pressure into anything I was not comfortable in. Let me tell you the experience alone was worth it. Not only did I not over paid on this Telluride I preordered it and waited 14 days to get it. Any other location may have it. But, will over charged beyond MSRP. I waited almost an entire year and finally over. Not your typical dealer they care and respect your decision. Plus sales person John Plewka is very experience in his field of car sales. Very Satisfied and thankful for stopping here. Worth the trip and time!!!

There are honestly not enough stars to properly rate my experience purchasing my new car on Saturday. I was greeted promptly by Len Smith, my sales associate, who was polite, personable, and extremely courteous. My husband and I went in looking at a different vehicle, however, Len and his General Manager, Sean Philp, steered us in a completely different direction; giving us a deal of a lifetime!!! I worked with Wayne to purchase a vehicle-it was my first time buying a car for myself, so I wasnt sure what to expect. Everything was very no-nonsense and low pressure. Wayne listened to the features that I was looking for, and worked to find a vehicle that fit exactly what I wanted for a good price. Everyone at the dealership was kind and quick to help. Purchasing this vehicle was a really fun experience-kudos to the entire Classic Kia team.

I absolutely love this dealership. It’s not your “traditional” dealership where you’re being hounded and pressured by hungry sales agents. It’s a very friendly and calm environment that makes the car buying experience a pleasant one.My sales agent, Barbara Moore, was the best. She greeted me with a warm smile and from there, I told her what I was looking for and at what price. She went to work for me and within a couple hours, I was driving out of there with the brand new 2018 Kia Sportage I wanted!!! Way to go Barbara... you’re the best!!!I also have to give a shout out to Jennifer, the finance manager, who got me a great deal at 0% financing! Having previously bought two cars from other dealers, we were in for a pleasant surprise at Classic Kia. We had a very good experience buying our 2017 Kia Soul at Classic Kia. Other dealers should take lessons from these guys on customer service. The whole team is very good - Chet, Sean, Tracey and Taruj. The price was the best amongst other dealers. When we went there, they had the car ready for test drive. The paperwork went by fast. No sales pressure. No pressure to add unnecessary items to the car purchase. No shady tactics. They maintained transparency through the whole process. Chet knew the car in and out and patiently showed us how to use different features. My wife didn’t want to drive back in the rain storm, so they delivered the car to our home for free.
