I was very, very satisfied and pleased with the customer service that I received!! The manager and associates were amazing in telling me and showing all repairs needed! Derek and Joey, wow!!!these gentlemen went above and beyond for us!!!!Derek checked and topped up all fluids and Joey was so observant and saw that our splash guard was falling down and he went under and screwed the guard back on and clipped off the the hanging material. The price for quality we have received here goes beyond all other services that we have paid for in the past.Very professional. We will definitely be back.

I went for an oil change. They told me to back into a parking spot as they were busy, and said they would get to me soon. After waiting for 40 minutes, I decided to leave. Maybe they were short-staffed, but this is the slowest Express Oil I’ve ever seen. For the cars I saw actually being serviced, the quickest time in a bay was 25 minutes. They really should change their sign that says “10 Minute Oil Change”. If I ever go back and get serviced, maybe I’ll give a different rating.

I used to always get my oil changed here for both of my vehicles, with me being a female and not knowing much about vehicles I trust their judgment on things such as oil type, air filter changes, ect. Well today for my oil change Karla told me that my oil cap had worn down and was the wrong shape and they wouldn’t change it since they thought it could break when taking it off and they didn’t have another oil cap in stock for my vehicle. Well after my boyfriend called the truth came out. At my previous oil change (with them) they put the cap back on to tight and they were afraid to take it off because they didn’t know if it would break. In conclusion I didn’t get a oil change, they told me I would have to pay for their mistake if it would have broke, they will try to take advantage of you if you don’t know anything about vehicles, and i will never be going back there again.

I had to change my review. I’ve now had two bad experiences here. Most recently I dropped my truck off for an alignment because it was pulling to the left. They called me an hour later and said they couldn’t do an alignment with out doing $1100 worth of work to the front end first. I told them no and when I went to pick it up they charged me $20. I took it down the road to Tuscaloosa Tire and they did an alignment for $80 and it drives great. Don’t go here they’re trying to screw people out of money. Go elsewhere.

Great service and recommendations. I feel like the gentlemen they work here really want to help. They dont push services on you. They check out your car and give you recommendations that they see. I have been going here for a couple years and I always leave knowing my vehicle was properly taken care of.

Very awesome team! I took my vehicle up there one morning on my way to my office- I am active duty Army. They took a look at my tire and noticed that it needed a patch. They did not charge for the patch job. I appreciated that so much! Will return again.

I had bought an inside cabin filter for my elderly mom’s car thinking I could put it in her Chevy after watching my Express Oil folks do my Honda’s. BOY was I wrong. Drove to this location and Patrick said he would put it in for free. It was a little more involved than either one of us predicted and it ended up taking about 20 minutes. He stated many times there was no charge. But I insisted he charge me labor. Finally he relented and charge me a minimum fee. He was super nice and it was a very hot day. Some of the others came over with differences tools and help, but Patrick is a phenomenal guy! Y’all totally took care of my mom and me! I really appreciate it! Will definitely go there first if I ever have car troubles in T’town !

I was on 65 N headed back to Nashville when my oil light came on. My husband was not with my kids and me so needless to say I was a bit panicked. I found this place and called to see if they were really busy and/or how long it would be for someone to help me. I arrived, Adam checked my oil and much to my surprise.... my oil was in perfect condition and did not need changing. I cant tell you how much I appreciate his honesty as I know NOTHING about oil and am not the best at getting it changed (my husband does that ) He could have easily sold me an oil change that I didnt need and I would have been none the wiser. In this crazy world we live in, I cant tell you how much I appreciate honesty. I only wish they were in Nashville and I would be a customer for life!!!!!Thanks again!!Jennifer in Nashville

3 yrs ago my wife who was out of town had a car problem and these guys helped her without any charge. We have been coming here ever since. I do all my oil changes here. When there is something wrong with my car I go no where else but here. They will bend over backwards to help you any way possible. I highly recommend them

Took a 2006 Malibu to get a simple issue fix.I was wrong in my diagnostics but I didn’t believe what they diagnosed the issue as.I refused to pay their diagnostic fee and eventually left with the car as I didn’t feel their work was adequate.I took it to another shop, Mike minor’s Auto repair, they were honest and told me it was an ECU issue causing the problem and that it would have to go to the dealership. Because of this, they didn’t even charge us a diagnostic fee. I didn’t ask he just told us. “Since we couldn’t fix the issue, I’m not gonna charge you.” That repair shop cares about the customer and would rather have them come back then boost the profit margin.Ultimately, it cost about $800 to fix, had we believed the diagnostic of express oil change, it would’ve cost us $1300 as we would’ve thrown $500 down the drain. Be cautious with their diagnostics, because they will guess and check with your checkbook.

I have spent many years taking care of my vehicles throughout the country. There has never been a place that I felt wanted to ensure that not only was my car in top condition, but also my feeling of good service being provided. I came to Express about two years ago and met the crew. Because of my treatment I told them I would be back with my other vehicles as well. Two years later and the same treatment. I want to thank Jackie, Adam W. And Adam F., Chip, and the rest of the crew for what they do for all of the customers. This is definately my final destination for auto repairs. Again, thank you.

Horrible Experience! Technician left us at the shop telling us he was going to pick up a part, and NEVER CAME BACK! At 3:30 pm., we called and were told that our truck would be ready in 30 minutes. We arrived at Express at 4:15 pm and our truck was still not ready. They closed at 5:00 pm and were told that our truck would be ready by then and that the tech would make sure of it. They even asked us to pay our bill so they could close out the shop and we obliged. At around 7:45 pm, we were still waiting on our truck!!! The technician came out telling us that he had run into a problem which would be a quick fix. He needed to go to the Auto Zone up the street to pick up a part and it would be ready in another 30 minutes. We watched him LEAVE THE SHOP, he glanced in our direction, and he pulled off. We saw him take a right turn instead of the left that he should have taken to get to Auto Zone. At this point, me, my husband, and 4 YEAR OLD son had been sitting in their parking lot since 4:15 pm that afternoon. When he took that turn, I looked at my husband and said, He went home. We sat in that parking lot until 9:00 pm that night and sure enough, the technician never returned. We sat for 5 hours, paid our bill, and still had no truck and the technician didnt even have the decency to tell us he wasnt going to be able to complete the job that night. All of this happened on a Saturday, Sunday they were closed, and we called them on Monday morning to tell them what happened. After explaining our ordeal to the Service Manager, how my child sat for 5 HOURS, how we were out hundreds of dollars, all they offered us were 2 free oil changes and 10% off our next visit. This is such a tremendous shame to be treated in such a way and my family did not deserve this. Very disappointed in this business and their treatment of their customers.

Went in yesterday for an oil change John was amazing very informative and helpful. Looked at my light bulb for me. Could have easily took advantage of my lack of knowledge pertaining to repairs but he didnt. He was very patient and explained everything to me. As well as postion some items that was found in my air filter 😏. Minus all lof my questions, it was a very quick process. They have a knew customer 😁

Had a 5 cars ahead of me wait. No problem, listening to a couple of songs on the radio and I was being called to pull in. Service was good, Answered a few questions for me and I was finished. Had 3 bays open out in no time. Would come back again if lived in the area . Moody Alabama.

I took my newly acquired f150 here several weeks ago only as it was convenient to me at the time and I had a coupon for 15 dollars off a full synthetic oil change. After I was finally pulled in over 30min after waiting outside in the sun, this older trucks air conditioning needed charged and I hadnt been able to do that yet, I had a terrible experience. The tech took off for over 20min and its supposed to be a 15min or less time frame. The person in front of me while I waited outside was already in the bay, and was already in before my 30min wait mind you...most of the work that the ccmustomer pays for is the oil change and inspection itself right? This company also has a policy to offer to grease hinges, inspect wipers, air filter, cabin filter, wash the windshield, etc etc. The only thing done other than change the oil, we will get to that in a minute, was top off the washer fluid. Frustrated, I questioned the tech who fed me bull, I paid my ticket and left. Upon getting home after that, I skelter a bad burning oil smell. I found that the oil pan and the plugs had been stripped and damaged to the point where neither could retain the oil within the engine and my dipstick was gone dry upon getting home. I purchased the same oil at Walmart, I drove one of my other vehicles to fetch it, and filled it up the next morning and had to stop to top it off again along the way. I took the truck back where instead of getting the work I needed done that following Saturday I spent most of my day, from 630am to arrival 730am, and waited until about 3pm, only to be told they damaged my manifolds and couldnt fix it that day and had to leave it. This was costly to me. Forcefully and reluctantly I had no choice, was assured later in the week it was finally fixed and when I went to pick it up the following Saturday, it appeared fine. Drove not but 5 miles down the road to my mechanic to have it checked out only to find they didnt seal it properly and was still pouring out oil on the back of the pan. Any proper mechanic knows on oil pan gaskets that a bit of rtv is required in the corners where it meets the rear main caps, apparently a master tech doesnt though. So another week goes by and they got the truck back to fix it. During the initial repair, the motor was jacked up for clearance by the harmonic balancer, according to the for legal protection, un-named manager, this is a common practice to Jack up or support the motor itself, still attached to the transmission which is still mounted to the crossmember mind you, and poses no issue. This is complete whoreshit as the harmonic balancer performance or OEM, is an extremely sensitive and delicate device made to balance the harmonics of the motor. But back to picking the truck up the second time, I took delivery of it finally as they finally got the pan to seal properly. I drive it home after getting groceries and a couple things around town. On the way home the wheel bearings in the right front started squealing so I parked it for another week. The following weekend I started it up to take it to my mechanic to assist in getting the wheel bearings done. After 30 seconds or so, the harmonic balancer started making and noise and started shaking really bad. I immediately let said unnamed manager know and it was on its way back to the shop the following day. They today claimed no fault if the damage for their employees direct ignorance and abuse of my vehicle so I told them dont touch it any further, I will be on my way shortly to pick it up, and I would probably exercise my right to save down potential customers from across the street not on their property to warn them of potential impending damage to their own vehicles the same that mine befell. About 10min later, their suit and tie in Birmingham called me threatening of filing a police report and pressing charges if I peacefully protest and warn others of their wrong doing. This is not libel or slander, as it dies not name any specific person by name or does it include any false accusations or statements.

I had an horrible experience... Took my car for an oil change, tuneup and to get my fuel line cleaned out... My car had no oil in it, I had to buy more oil that same night... My car wont even pick up speed any more and its sounds like an lawn mower... I had to go purchase a new car the next day after spending close to $400.00 at express oil change... Because after they worked on my car its driving horrible... I will never go there again 😕

As soon as I pulled my 94 Dodge Dakota into the bay they swarmed my truck like a good old-fashioned Zerg rush. Cleaning the windows, checking hoses, lubricating my doors, etc. It was great.It was my first time there too. Embarrassingly enough, I had forgotten my wallet, which is a terrible feeling when it comes time to pay someone. Thankfully, the guy let me trade my phone (with a Nintendo case) for collateral while i went back and got it. When I came and paid, the same guy asked if played a lot of video games, so we got to talking about various games we like to play. Im glad I came to this location for an oil change, it made getting an oil change during the craziness of exam week a nice experience.

Got towed in about 11pm on the 6th of February. They were so short handed that didnt start working on my truck until early afternoon. Then had another emergency in shop and had to stop working on my truck. But store manager and lead mechanic stayed until midnight working on my truck. If I lived in Tuscaloosa Alabama they would be my shop for work I couldnt do myself.

They messed up my car and when I took it back to them they gave me the lady treatment and acted as if ihad no clue what i was talking about. Unfortunately for them i did. Dont take your car there unless you want to have to take your car to a mechanic afterwards to fix what they mess up.

Went in for oil change and tire rotation came out with needing rotors and brake pads. Thinking that all rotors are expensive I agreed to have the work done. Now I see I could have had a whole set of rotors for the price I paid for one. I wish I had come home to my local mechanic to have them changed. Watch out ladies they see you coming to.
