Very helpful technicians here. I called first before bringing my MacBook computer in to be fixed. They understood that I am not a complete computer nerd and knew exactly how to make it so that I would understand what they were talking about. I had an idea what was wrong with the computer and suggestions were made that we may or may not eventually take. The store had nobody in it this late in the day except for its personnel and the two of us so service was quick and easy. They will text me to let me know the results before either repairing, or not, depending on our decision.

I bought a new computer here and worked with Noah. Super helpful! Enough technical details to guide me to the right choice without getting overwhelmed. Intelligent and funny. SO much better than going to the incredibly noisy and crowded Apple store at La Encantada.

I was having a serious issue with my Gen3 Apple Watch and I was wondering if I could get it fixed or even replaced. I walked in the other day, expecting to hear that I would just have to get a new one. However, one of the employees, (I believe his name was Noah, and his last name started with a P but for the life of me I can’t remember it) helped me out immensely. He was extremely kind the entire time and very patient. I ended up just paying for AppleCare and that basically solved the whole thing for me! 10/10 would get Noah to help me again :).

I had an appointment for a screen replacement; it was finished extremely quickly, my phone looks brand new and they honored my AppleCare warranty. Staff were all very friendly as well. Can’t recommend Simutek enough!

Amazing! The staff was great (specifically Kate). Simutek quoted me at the lowest price out of eight different stores for my MacBook, and my total ended up being $150 cheaper than I orignially thought. My broken computer screen was fixed within about two hours, where everywhere else was about 10 business days. Extremely happy with the service and my new computer screen!

First and only time I’m EVER walking into this place. To start off I had some fault in the beginning but by the end I was beyond not ok with how this place handled my situation. I did not have a repair appt which was my fault to begin with so I was definitely not mad about that. I had been having some problems with screen protectors bubbling up and falling off after about a week or so. I had this issue in the past and it had been a warp or miss balanced screen(or glass) so I asked for them to replace or lift the screen and rebalance it so my protectors would stop falling off. I was told no because there wasn’t any physical cracks so they would not do that unless I called apple and had apple specifically place an appt and state they could replace the glass. I did this in the parking lot since they had appts for the same day... I walked back inside and spoke to whom I believe is the manager. He also stated since in the “inspection” they didn’t find a warp they were still refusing to do the work I specifically called apple to make to do since I have AppleCare+ and T-Mobile insurance because if I had to come to them it was a “last resort” even though our Apple Store is temporarily closed and I would have just gone there if they were open. In conclusion don’t waste your time on this place they gave me and more people in the store at the time the run around.Response to owner: thank you for you’re response Apple has been notified of this situation and is investigating your claims since they have not only the recorded calls between them and myself, but also the emails for the 2 confirmed appointments made for that same day (Monday January 4th at 3:00p, and 4:20p). Apple stated that you should have the proper equipment and training to do such if you are actually an accredited repair center for them. They are highly confused on why you or your staff could not complete the repair in house.

Excellent! One sales person (a true gentleman) worked on my computer for about 20 minutes. He gave me his time to work on it something he did not have to do. When he could not resolve the issue he took me to service, that was appropriate. The young man at service told me it would take 2 days to repair. In the afternoon of the day I left my computer I was called to pick up my computer. It was done within hours and now working fine.Great service thank you.

Very good service! I was rushing to make it to the store before they closed because I got out of work late. I called ahead and they were accommodating to stay open for 5 minutes late to help me out. Since I had Apple Care +, my service was free. Ill definitely keep going here for my Mac services.

I buy all of my Apple stuff here. They arent the sweetest techs and salespeople here, but they are definitely knowledgeable and trying to get it right for you as a buyer. I used the tech teaching service here as well. It was worth the cost for sure. Macs are the only thing sold here, like the Apple Store in La Encantada, but I feel like Im getting a better value here and I dont have to wear my leather trench coat and hipster clothes to go here.

The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely care about helping me get what I need sometimes for free depending on the situation.I highly recommend this store—most of the staff have been working there since I first used their services over a decade ago. Lets just say I once had trouble with my computer when I was in Phoenix, and went to the Mac store, where there was an hour wait just to talk to someone who might be able to fix it, and even after the hour, they said they would have to keep my laptop for several days in order to try to fix it. When I go to Simutek, Ive never encountered a wait time, and the first person I encounter is someone who can actually help me fix my computer, not someone who just puts my name on a list. They are supremely knowledgeable, helpful and reasonably priced, and the work is always done in a timely fashion. If you have a Mac computer, dont take it anywhere else!

For many years we have bought products and used their service department and have always been satisfied. Their product knowledge has many times saved the day. No, just no. My phone broke and I was in the middle of a family emergency and really needed a phone! I was trying to book flights and car rentals, and staying in touch with my mother. (My father was facing life threatening illness in another state)I had always heard good things about Simutek so that was my first thought and since it was an emergency, I didnt have an appointment which seemed to be equivalent to a crime there.The person who was helping me, I mean who greeted me..nope, not that either. Anyway, he couldnt even be troubled to look up at me when he spoke to me. (man with longer dark hair in the service section)He was rude and had me stand there with no explanation while he typed away at his machine. I couldnt tell if he was trying to see if someone could help me or if he was just doing his own thing without taking the trouble to dismiss me.Lucky for me, he eventually sent me to STAT Computer Services (Perhaps he was tired of my lingering in confusion?) where the super friendly staff fixed my phone in under 10 minutes. I was so relieved!I get that everyone cant change their schedule to help someone like me and I dont know what they face all day that might make them behave that way, but I feel like on the outside chance that someone really has an emergency, you might want to pay them the courtesy of kind, clear communication.Ill never go back there and I highly recommend you try STAT first. Theyre in the same strip mall as Simutek just 2 or 3 doors East)

I have had Mac laptops repaired and I purchased a reconditioned Mac laptop from Simutek. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable and most importantly not intimidating. The repair costs are a little lower than industry standard. When the repair was equal to or greater than a newer reconditioned laptop, the staff showed me options and gave me confidence to buy a used computer. Ive had this one for 8 years. Ill buy a new ipad and reconditioned laptop next year from Simutek.

I dont even live in Tucson anymore, but because I lived there 10 years and always used Simutek, and my adult kids live there still and still use Simutek, for repair and service, I called today for advice because of a problem the internet, my favorite local Apple geek, and I cant seem to solve. The closest certified Apple sales and service (80 miles away) no longer employs all the folks I knew and trusted so I wanted to hear from someone I did trust. Got my advice. Will try it out. And if it still doesnt work, will take it the 80 miles and let them fix it. But thats how much I love and trust these guys. I called them from 1800 miles away and they were lovely.

Having owned more Macs than I care to think about over the last 30 years, it seems I visit here for repairs regularly but not that often. They do authorized repairs and are unfailingly helpful, even when it’s clear that a drive or screen is beyond repair. The other nice thing about them is the relative quiet compared to the din at the Apple store. It’s a nice and quality alternative to the trek up the hill.

The employees are knowledgeable on all things related to Apple products. It is somewhat better to go to Simutek for information about products, repairs and purchase of products, especially Macs than traveling to the Apple store where you will wait a long time for information. Simutek has been in business for many years and can assist you with anything related to Apple products.

Needed to get memory/ram upgrade for my apple/mac late 2012. The Apple store doesnt carry memory for anything older than 2015 (go figure!). Very professional and helpful! When I noticed a battery warning on my 7 yr old Mac Air, I made an appointment with Simutek on-line. Subsequently I decided to call to ensure they had a replacement battery available -- they did and advised me of the checkout process they use to confirm it is a battery problem and not some other component/issue. When I told them that I needed the machine repaired quickly so I could take it on travel, they suggested that I bring it in immediately (rather than waiting for my scheduled appointment). Bottom line was that in less than two hours my machine was checked and repaired for exactly the same price quoted by Apple. All were very courteous, especially the lady that helped me to my vehicle with my walker! I recommend this business!

Simutek is my go-to place when anything goes wrong with my Apple computer! And Im on my 8th year with it. Technicians are super-helpful, and their help process is much easier than going into an Apple retail store for assistance. Ive also done individual tutoring sessions that have helped me get more out of using my Mac. I highly recommend Simutek.

My computer had taken a drink, as we say. It couldnt be repaired, but the hard drive was okay, and Simutek told me they could transfer the data to a new or newer computer. It would have cost $200 to have them transfer the date; but they also told me that I could transfer the data if I got an enclosure that I could put the old hard drive into. From there, I could transfer the data. And the enclosure, which they ordered for me, was only $20. I liked that they told me about this much cheaper alternative. They could have omitted this information, forcing me to pay them much ore, but they didnt do that. Their honesty about this was impressive!

I would get honest, no nonsense, and highly accurate diagnoses and advice with every person I met there. Theyve fixed some very difficult problems Ive had with my laptops, and at a highly reasonable price. Ive since moved far away from Tucson, and havent found any place in the big cities near me thats even half as good as Simutek (much to my chagrin!) . We upgraded our 5 year old computer to a faster model. Simutek said it would take two weeks, which is a long time to go cold turkey with connecting, but it was only 3 days. They even offered us a trade in which bought the back-up hard drive, and three one-hour classes. Thats something you dont even know you need. Service and customer care is top notch!

I was so impressed with this place. I purchased a beautiful MacBook Air for a great price. When I got it home I realized the computer had not been fully re-set and needed to go back the store (which is not typical). Rich and the team bent over backwards to take care of the issue, even loaning me another air while mine was being taken care of. I really appreciated this store!

My major experience with Simutek was when they repaired my iMacs hinge mechanism. At that time, after much public pressure, Apple had agreed to expand the original warranty to include such repairs. After expertly completing the hinge repair Simutek tested the hard drive and found it to be failing. I agreed to its replacement with a solid state drive which is performing very well indeed.Simutek staff are courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. They complete computer repairs in a reasonable time. I think they provide a valuable resource for the public.

Rich and the entire crew are absolutely WONDERFUL to work with, they have always provided excellent service, a great selection of new and used devices, and fair pricing. I will NEVER go back up the hill to the fancy store where I need to take a number and feel talked down to. If you are a Mac user, all you need is SIMUTEK!

I started with Simutek before Macs had hard drives -- and have NEVER been disappointed with service or sales, even when Apple itself was having problems years ago. Any repairs I have had (usually my fault) have been quick and solid and much friendlier than in any Apple Store I have been in across the nation. Honesty, integrity, and solid knowledge of how to fix, repair and maximize my Macs performance with every (but rare) visit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Love this store. They are smart and available. I have bought several things there, and several of them were fully refurbished models that were firmly guaranteed even though they worked perfectly. Nice, too, that they are smack in the middle of midtown.

The help desk people are always responsive to dealing with questions. I live 32 miles from the facility and would not go anywhere else. I love these guys, they are efficient, reasonably priced, and on time (when the parts show up on time), and there isnt the hassle waiting in line at the Apple store and being mobbed by their customers. Best alternative in town if you have an interest in an Apple product!

I purchased my two iMacs at Simutek and have returned to them for service and help. Its all been good. On four occasions theyve fixed my problems in the show room at no charge. They have some very capable people and a good management. Make Simutek your first stop for Apple stuff.

The staff members are very knowledgeable and very friendly. Also, they dont look down on their less capable customers. I generally buy everything at the Apple Store but decided to buy at Simutek because they were offering to pay my sales tax as an end-of-year special, which was a great deal. I then sold them my old computer and got a considerably better price than the Apple Stores vendor had offered. Im sold. Next time I need an Apple product, Ill stick with Simutek. I like the buzz at the Apple Store and will continue to visit, but buying something is much faster at Simutek. Apple doesnt need the extra business. Its great to buy local—when the price and the service are as good as what Simutek offers.

I love going to Simutek! The personnel there are friendly and spend the time needed to help you. I have always found help without waiting as long as you do at the Apple store at LaEncantada in Tucson. I find they are also willing to help you when you call with a question if that is possible without seeing your computer.

The folks at Simutek are great! They answer dumb questions, dont laugh when you tell them you spilled red wine on your laptop, and all around it is a pleasant experience to go to their store. And the prices are very reasonable.

Simutek staff are responsive and knowledgeable. They dont play cutsey games like their competitors and are to the point in dealing with my hardware needs. They have even helped a bit with software. I have bought all of my personal computers and many supplies from Simutek. I have even attended a class there. On very rare occasions my computer has spent time in their hospital and come out well. This outfit is one of the finest commercial stores in Tucson and they know the meaning of service.
