A hidden gem in Tucson for surplus aircraft parts, instruments, and other miscellany. While most of the stuff there is aircraft related they do have a decent selection of surplus computers, electronics, and other industrial equipment. Great service, fair prices, and theres always something new showing up!

Recently the running capacitor on my central air conditioner failed shutting it down. Having your ac down when its 113 degrees is definitely not a good thing and time can be of the essence. So I decided to replace it myself, saving hundreds of dollars in the process. I called around to find a replacement and was surprised that the vast majority of places that had the part wouldnt even sell it to me because I was not a contractor. This was quite surprising, definitely a captive market. Eliiots had it, available, and at a great price. Bottom line, the ac was repaired and I saved hundreds of dollars. Thanks to Elliotts. If you need electronic parts this is the place to go, barr none!!

It was my first time here and I must say the customer service was atrocious. Prices were ok but I rather pay Amazon $10 more to not be ignored and wait when I’m the only customer there.

I think they have a fantastic selection of electronic parts, tools and consumables that would make David Jones blush. Some other review by a Sean Parsons seems to misunderstand the second building-- it is their surplus location. They arent asking you to go fetch it for them, its an entirely separate gig that focuses on separate products (all of which are at a great price). I will be shopping here for as long as I am in Tucson, you can count on that!

At 3:04pm on Saturday we showed up needing a couple of parts to finish a install on a piece of equipment. The gentleman closing down the store let us in and got us our parts.These guys are the best!!!!Thank You!!!!

I really didnt know that I needed this store in my life.I recently needed a capacitor for a playstation 1 repair, and if I ordered this tiny capacitor online from mouser it would have cost me only $1.50 however the shipping was $9.95. I had no idea there was a store like this in Tucson but I decided to try and find one and low and behold there was Elliots Electronics. When I walked in they had exactly the small SMD capacitor that I was needing. They have almost anything that you can imagine. Literally a whole wall of just switches and LEDs. Resistors? Theres a wall covered in them.Great store, and not only will I go back again, Ive already gone back and purchased more. Will I pay slightly more than amazon? Probably, but its worth it for being able to walk in and pick it up same day, ask the people there for help, and support local businesses at the same time.Make sure you check out Elliots Surplus next door as well.

Been patronizing this place for 22 years. Today was my last time. Went in for some small project items, nothing expensive or special, all were on their website as In Stock. Disappointed with the quality of several items and I walked the whole store shopping and gathering my listed items. Finally asked for an item on their website homepage, and I was told I had to go Next Door and buy it there. Owner seemed put out when I said I dont want to go next door to buy it, I came here, and its on your website. No compromise or understanding, just go next door if you want it. Well Sir, I left everything at the counter and left. I can buy the items online for a bit less. I have always tried to support a local business. Im a customer not a stock boy, not my job to run next door to find and buy an item they sell. This shell game about splitting their business into two stores feels shady. Seems they would rather I bought items elsewhere as well as they made no effort to save the sale. Sad to say, I expect they will be following the other electronics store (Initials FE). I dont buy a lot and they probably wont feel it, but they have lost a long time customer.

Elliot Electronic Supply is the best electronic supply store in Arizona period. They have everything needed for hobbyists, engineers and educators. Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend. Great place to just browse as well.

The staff were all very helpful and answered all of my questions. They seem to really know their stuff when it comes to electronics. They have a wide assortment of gear and components, and the prices seemed very reasonable.

I use this place for buying discrete components and other miscellaneous hardware its a good store and I dont even know if theres another one anywhere around so if you need to components and even some old weird stuff they have it they just opened up a surplus store next door which has some very interesting items

Great selection of components that you will not find anywhere else, for reasonable prices.

The staff are knowledge, friendly, and willing to answer basic/beginner questions to help you complete your electronics project. Great selection of hobbyist parts & components, and frequently cheaper than Amazon (especially with the ability to buy small quantities). Everything I need for my projects I can find here---small gauge wire, connectors, breadboards, etc. I havent found an equivalent selection elsewhere in Tucson.

Overwhelming inventory. Thats not necessarily a bad thing though, they have a huge selection of items for surely your need. Whether its new electrical components, security and pc surplus, or even that hard to find spare wing to your Cessna 172. Be prepared and allow yourself extra time to browse their entire floor for what you need or even the next diy project.

Dont pay top dollar for old school electronics. Buy one of their components for 90% off the cost and get all the rest of the surplus components that come with it for free!

Because all the other locations that used to sell electronic parts have closed, this place is the only one in Tucson now. Big selection, but some parts and equipment are old, and may have been previously used. Some staff are not particularly friendly or helpful. Opening soon, a surplus department, should be interesting !

They have resistors, capacitors, inductors, connectors, bulk coaxial cable, project boxes, relays, soldering supplies, tools, and test equipment. I very rarely have to order anything because it is usually in stock. The sales staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They know the products that they sell.

My favorite store for anything electronic, Radio Shack wasnt even close to the same league compared to these guys. If you can think of an electrical part, these guys have it and in stock 99% of the time. I actually have spent 2hrs in this store looking at stuff and still missed things. If thats not bad enough they have a surplus store right next door that has everything you never needed but wanted. I can spend 2 hrs in that one as well. Needless to say my girlfriend hates this place, so I dont go often but when I do, count me out for half a a day. Need a discount? Tell them Tom sent you.

Just as a clarification, while this store does sell computer equipment it is much more designed for those looking at doing things with base components such as cabling and various electronic tools. A good place to check for things electronic because they will most likely have something that will work for you.

I love this place! Today I got a 12V7A SLA battery for $24.95 vs. $40.99 at Batteries Plus. And its always fun to look through their old equipment--its like a museum.

Neat place with lots of inventory. I needed a $2 resistor and Elliotts had too many options, luckily I bought a couple packs and was able to fix my problem with a little experimenting.

This is a great electronics store. They have everything you can think of. Even older electronics that you cant buy in stores. Good prices too.

Very rude staff. Even Mcdonalds shows more courtesy. I expected thatfamily owned buisnesses would care more. One recent bad experience. They had a raspberry pi for 60 bucks and online its for 35 and at SWS computers in town for 45 bucks. I asked about the price difcerence and the staff told me its like walmart and tiffany,s. Same item different price and thats why its called shopping. Well I guess I will just take my business to walmart then. I am new to town and have already made the mistake of spending over $500 here..

Zero help. Called to ask question about a specific wall plate with dc power outlet was told to look on there website. Cant find it on the website and no help on the phone very disappointed with the service from this company.
