Im a single woman who hates having to go to the mechanic because its so hard to trust in a companies honesty and care when the customer is so out of their element. I have been using Top Notch for well over a year now, for multiple repairs as well as routine maintenance on both of my cars. Farrah knows me by name when I call (maybe unfortunately, haha!) and Chris always does a great job with the cars at an exceptional price. He found a major oil leak in my Prius that the dealership didn’t tell me about when I went to have my car serviced, and I’ve never used anyone else since. This shop is just like the repair shops I grew up with - honest, no selling you anything extra, they will tell you how much longer you can go before you really need to fix it, and I can send my kid in with their car trouble and Farrah will call me with the diagnostics and bill. You can’t ask for anything better.

Finding a new auto repair shop in a new city is stressful and makes me feel vulnerable before I feel like I can trust someone. Top Notch performed a safety inspection on my 14 year old vehicle before I drive xc with it and they didn’t try to take advantage of me by trying to sell me on services I may or may not actually need. This was my first time at this business so its too soon to rate. I like that there is a female running the front desk,since i am a female she explained things to me in simple terms. Unfortunately I have been told I need major work on my vehicle in the past and I have been charged more that what was quoted so I am very skeptical I trust NO one, so I will see how this new business works out for me. Trust is earned, be honest with me and I will always pay what’s due.

This is one of the first times I am doing a review, especially because I want to and there are many of use who need this company for there honesty. For the first time I had to tow my car. The closest place, which had the greatest ratings, was Top Notch Autocare. The tow guy understood that the Brakemax I preferred to take my car to was too far away and he reassured me where I was taking it was going to be the best place which I will never look back. The online pictures plus many of the reviews gave me feelings I never felt before based on my past as probably many others. I am very technical and love to do research on my own to attempt to fix my own problems as well others. The female who communicated with me gave me the best information, which also came close enough to my guessing. The ending result, including some other information about axels, was just the best honest information that made sense period. Also, the price was great! This companys standard should be the business model most if not all others should fallow! I would write more but I am not the greatest writer

Incredibly fast and friendly same-day service at a reasonable price. I had my vehicle towed into their facility and they fixed it within a couple of hours. They asked what the issue was ahead of time and had the parts pre-ordered and ready when my vehicle arrived, so repairs were very quick. Excellent service!!

I’ve talked to more than a few shops around town, most shops were going to charge me around $1000+ to change my rack & pinion. I felt that was a bit high and I was being lied to about what all needed to be done. So I was referred to Top Notch by a friend. I do not regret this. They’ve been honest with me, and they aren’t trying to replace parts that are new. They are just doing the service that I asked for. And they are honest.It’s unfortunate that I can’t take them with me when I move, but at least they will be servicing Tucson for a long while.Farrah has been amazing and Chis is an amazing technician. I’m so glad I was referred to them.

TWICE now they have saved me a buttload of money! I bought a used car and of course used cars come with some problems, but when I had been told by a local Pep Boys that I would be better off just hauling my car to the dump, I instead had it hauled to these guys who took less than half a day to find the problem, fix it, also replace a very dead battery and get me back on the road for 1/10th of what PEP Boys wanted to even try to figure things out.They just now did my brakes, oil and whole dang tune up as well as fix the door and some other stuff that was bugging me for less than what some places charge for just the brakes!They are friendly, honest, reliable and know their business and have earned mine for life. Cannot recommend them enough.

Great place to take your car. Speedy and not over priced

The usual shop where I take my cars for repairs faced an issue they werentequipped to tackle. So they needed to refer me to another shop, that could. This new shop is REALLY a good find. Its going to be difficult to not go back to my initial shop to get work done because Im loyal to them, & they are very good in every aspect.But this new shop is run by the owner aFEMALE ! Oh yes I was VERY skeptical at 1st. After talking about my cars issues,I discovered she very, VERY good at what she does/knows !And the best part (IMO) is, shes not the least bit arrogant about her knowledge.She simply throws it out there with 0 attitude, & its easy to absorb !I highly recommend this shop, ALSO !

Ive had an oil change and also a large maintenance done to my HVAC system here and it has been great. They were recommended highly by a family member and it is only apparent why. I love the fact that they are so informative when you have to make decisions about your car. They arent going to pressure you on what you need to fix, but really give you all the information and recommendations that are necessary. I absolutely love Top Notch Auto Care :) I took my Toyota Avalon in a few weeks ago after the A/C suddenly quit working (not a good thing in Tucson) and it was fixed within an hour. I had such a great experience that I took my car back last week for a persistent noise I was hearing. My check engine light had been on for awhile (oops) and Farrah explained that I needed to replace a bearing, my starter, and my brakes. I spent the afternoon in the shop working on my laptop and chatting with Farrah, who is an absolute angel. The waiting room is always comforting and inviting, which is why I had no problem waiting there for my car to be repaired. I am so glad to have finally found a family-owned shop that I trust in Tucson! My car sounds 100% better and is driving like its brand new again. Chris and Farrah are amazing, as are their employees who always get the job done right.

Exceptional experience with Top Notch Autocare. Heres what I mean by exceptional: my Mazda 6 had a wheel with a minor defect in it which resulted in an annoying but persistent slow leak in the tire. Top Notch Autocare:-) located and acquired a used wheel for me from a 3rd party-) drove to my house during the pandemic, put my car up on a jack and removed the wheel-) returned with the new wheel and a re-balanced tire, and put it back on my car-) ... while my work from home day continued completely uninterrupted... and for an incredibly fair price point.You will not be disappointed with this group - they are clearly in it for the love of automobiles and just doing a damn good job!--ash

I rarely ever take the time to write a review for a business, but they earned it.Top Notch Autocare offered fabulous service. They were collegial, honest, flexible, and never tried to upsell me. I needed a part repaired on my vehicle that would take a few hours to get. They let me take my car, do other stuff, and then return without paying for services already rendered. That kind of trust is rare and really caught me off guard. I wholeheartedly recommend them for your auto service.

Farrah and Chris will tell you what the problem/diagnosis is with your vehicle and tell you how much, how long, and what needs to be done. I have been coming to them for my car as well as my son and daughters, and without fail they’re pretty awesome. Excellent honest service, will never mess with a dealership again. After 3 weeks and over a 1000 dollars wasted at both Nissan dealerships, Top Notch found and corrected the problem in one afternoon for what the dealership charges to plug a code scanner in.

A few weeks ago I noticed that my car had begun to make some really strange noises, this was a major problem as I was about to make a 500 mile trip and had very little set back for car repairs. I was also frustrated because as a single woman, I have rarely ever had good service in car matters and it had just left a bad taste. For this reason I do many minor repairs myself, however this noise was beyond my realm of knowledge. Top Notch came highly recommended and I decided to take a chance and give them a try. I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE PLEASED! When I called I explained my travel situation, and they got me in the same day! However I was most impressed with how I was treated, They took the time to listen to me, and allowed me to ask many questions, giving me answers while at the same time, not treating me like I was ignorant (something I have encountered at many repair shops!) They explained the problem, and gave me what I believe to be a VERY reasonable quote, at my go ahead they did the repair same day, and within about 2 hours (TOTAL time!) I was on my way, with a fresh oil change and a new water pump. I highly HIGHLY recommend them, and I myself have finally found a repair shop I can trust!

I followed Chris and Farrah to their new business because they always provided GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE when they worked down the street from my place of business. I called today when I realized I needed my car inspected by tomorrow (so I could re-register my vehicle). My check engine light was on and I knew the Oxygen Sensor needed replaced and Farrah shopped around to get the lowest price on the part, got it delivered to their shop today and then Chris put it in this afternoon!!!
