Stopped in for an inexpensive oil change on my way home from my chiropractor. They had a fella holding a sign that said $8.95 oil change and I figured ok so itll be about $30 by the time were all said and done because the last time I went to jiffy lube I ended up with $100.00 bill. I had no idea the staff would be so kind and personable. The mechanic brought be back and showed me where Im leaking oil from exactly (which I already knew) wrote down what seals need replacing, and wasnt offended when I said I have a family friend that is my mechanic and was the mechanic on the vehicle before I bought it from our other friend. He just gave me the list to give to my mechanic. I will use them for all my oil changes going forward and happily refer them to anyone wanting work done because of how kind they were to this Momma and her little girl.

First impression-AMAZING! I am giving 2 stars only because Daniel & Richard were kind, courteous & provided service that was calm & friendly! Thanks guys 👍👍I took my car in only to have the hood release cable reconnected as my friend forgot to reconnect it after replacing a headlight. No big deal right?! Well, it shouldve been no big deal anyway. The owner, Bob, not a friendly guy & every time I drive by there now, I will remember his greed & lack if integrity!! He charged me $120, actually $128 with tax on labor for a small job that took 5 minutes!!! As if that werent bad enough, he repeatedly, with urgency, told me that is was a temporary fix & that I NEEDED to replace the hood release cables for which, with parts & labor would be about $300!!! WHAT?!?!? He told me that because my car had just over 90, 000 miles, it was time to replace them anyway! WHAT?!?!? I was not born yesterday & I have had numerous vehicles with over 100,000 miles that never needed new hood release cables. In fact, I have NEVER heard of anyone ever needed to replace a hood release cable!!! Daniel & Richard, i thank you again for your service with a smile & kindness to earn my business but unfortunately, Bob, you are yet another greedy & dishonest shop owner!! God Bless you!! My search for an honest, reasonable & kind mechanic continues!!

WARNING! RIP OFF! Listen to the one star reviews and believe them.I took my car here because the horn had stopped working. I asked if they could take a look and see what was wrong. $95 for an eval. No problem.They call me to tell me that the reason it isnt working is because I need a new relay. It will cost around $400. I approve.Get a call the next day to pick up my car. Drive it off the lot excited to honk my horn and NOTHING! I call immediately and tell them that my horn still doesnt work. Bob tells me they didnt test drive the car after repair but it was working in the shop and I can bring it back in.I bring it back in that afternoon and someone tells me it is probably the clock spring. They tell me to bring it back the next day. I do. Bob calls to confirm it is the clock spring, no apology that they didnt actually fix my horn the first time. Just tells me he can get a used part and it should cost around $350 more. Wow! But wait after a day he calls to tell me the used part isnt the right one and he will have to use a new one. I get there and the bill is not over $600!!! So Im $1000 down now.Again, never an apology for not fixing it right the first time or any kind of reduction in rate or cost or anything to make it right. UNBELIEVABLE!!!Bonus: my car is not idling correctly now…. Great..

The mechanics identified and fixed the problem in a competent, timely manner. The owner is fair and reasonable and commands respect. Their front desk assistant (Mia) provides a great attitude that makes customers feel comfortable and that their concerns are being addressed.

I stopped in because it was a local business and my check engine light just came on. I asked to use their OBD so I could see the problem. I was informed that it would be $100 to diagnose and I explained all I needed was the code and the mechanic said there was more involved and that a diagnosis is a lot more complicated. May I remind you I am a woman so apparently I looked like a good mark. So off to OReilly I went to use their FREE OBD and all it was was a small evap leak which meant the gas cap was not secure, so this place was willing to rip me off for $100 to screw in a gas cap!!!! P.S. did I mention I am a mechanic so ladies beware

Honest Review: Nice staff but WAY too pricey. I brought my own parts for them to install. Installation was estimated to take 4 hrs when it took less than 1.5hrs. Was charged $478 for less than 1.5hrs of labor.

I called to have an oil change done and they scheduled me the same day and when I hit there the service was great from the time I pulled up until the time I left. Nia was at the front desk and was very pleasant. Daniel took care of the oil change and had me out in about 30 mins. I will definitely be back for my oil changes and any other services my car may need.

They (I guess the owner - some here named him bob) does not look like he likes that the clients come to his shop. Seems like a burden to him.Before leaving my car all was fine, when I went to pick up the owner seemed very rude and tried to speak in Spanish to me before I even open my mouth (which I don’t) very rude and impatient. They charged me 10$ more for extra oil, which never happened in other shops, and didn’t ask me about it. They said that they would do a maintenance check but didn’t bother saying anything to me, besides that the fluid must be flushed. If you receive a coupon from them just rip it and go to a professional shop.

Dishonest and untimely. I went in for an oil change and 6 hours later they said they had not done it yet .Then they lied to me and said despite ALL their efforts my car was mysteriously completely dead and tried to pressure me into buying a battery from them. I simply tightened the existing battery in my car and it turned on. If I give them the benefit of the doubt then it just means theyre bad at their job. I dont someone dishonest or inexperienced working on my car.

Lookee here.....this place installs your part and nothing else....your not going to midas or the dealership where you will likely pay 1k vs the 150 they charge you here.You pay for minimal you get minimal...but hell you get an installed part...the best part is you get to drive away in your own daym car! After replacing all of my breaks, they stopped functioning and barely stopped the car. Thankfully I didnt find out in worse circumstances, otherwise my family could be dead. Now after they said they corrected that, my break lines are leaking. Be careful if you have to bring your vehicle here after they worked on it, they will retaliate. Better off looking elsewhere.

Well, he was fast and polite, but beware of that low price oil change gimmick. Tried to pressure me into $780 in repairs my car didn’t need. And was very quick to offer financing that I hadn’t asked about. I’m guessing they get a commission on that financing. Really not cool because who needs to borrow for car repairs? People who don’t have savings. People who don’t have a lot of money, and this shop prays on them. He told me my car had two rear axles that need replacing, gave me a two separate prices for them. Now here’s the fun part. I went home and called a Volkswagen dealer. My car doesn’t even have TWO rear axles. It’s a front wheel drive. The tech at VW explained a great deal over the phone about how the rear wheels are on one long shaft. Next day I tried Grant Auto Service. Guess what’s wrong with my car ? NOTHING.

I have been here a few times use their service a few times Anthony always takes care of me and the people here Are not trying to get over on you they are literally here just to help and if something needs to be done they will let you know and if it’s not necessary they will also let you know! I have gone here several times for oil changes mostly. The first time I came it was 4pm and a young guy came outside and very rudely told me to come back another day. The last time I was there I was very insulted. The guy helping me called me a little girl and asked if I had a man in my life to help me with my car issues. Then he asked me if I had a job, which had nothing to do with the car. Extremely rude, unprofessional and sexist. I will never be going back and I tell everyone I know not to go there!

I work as a janitor in Tucson I live in 3 points I had just put radiator and brand new transmission in my car total 4000 dallors so I no money but 200 dollars I was terable time with the tiers wearing out I could not afford not have my car they have a thing call easy pay I have 3;months and I love my Saturn Vue it was just a wonderful experience thank you I work I can pay my car runs thanks

Dont know much about mechanics. Oil change seemed good. But, asked to get a couple of things fixed. And, was told that all these other things needed to be fixed. Had to leave truck there for a while for an expensive diagnostic.

They send out nice coupons for oil change but have a sleazy business model. They told me I had a broken strut and quoted me double the price that it will cost to fix at the dealership (which is still higher than other places). They put very heavy pressure to have it fixed immediately with them. Be wary.

Couldnt fix my major car problems but theyre good for oil changes

This place takes advantage of people especially the elderly. You take your vehicle in for one problem and end up coming out of there with a huge bill and list of things you didnt ask for. My father took his car there for a check engine light, was quoted $1,200 for repairs and when he picked up the car, his charges were over $3,900!! After this happened I looked the business up on Google and read about all the bad experiences people have had, however when I checked this place on BBB they had no complaints against them giving them an A+ grade. If you had an issue with them I suggest you report them to the BBB. They need to STOP doing this to others.

I drive an older vehicle that’s showing it’s age and mileage. The team at Pima Automotive has always been upfront and clear about what needs addressed immediately, and what I can hold off on til my budget catches up. Two years ago I went in for the oil change special, and have been going back since for everything else.

Theyre fine. I went for their cheap oil change. I found the oil they use and its basically the cheapest stuff you can find, which is fine.They tried to push me on fixing other things which I figured they would. I just had to shut them down. Which is fine. Everyone there was semi-proffesional and didnt harass me. No one there was wearing a mask (some of them had them down around their chins). So take that as you will.I would recommend if you go here, that you know what youre doing and shut down any sales attempt they throw at you. Otherwise, cheap oil change, fine service, semi okay customer service and a risk of getting covid.

Great place best place to get a correct diagnosis and reasonable price fix

This was my first visit. Owner asked if I wanted my tires rotated and I assumed it would be included in the oil change price. However when I went to pay my bill there was an extra charge. I made a comment that I wish I wouldve known that before hand but since I didnt ask I didnt push the matter. The next day Bob called me and said he reviewed my bill and remembered my comment and offered to refund that additional charge. It is rare to encounter this type of service these days! He just gained a new client!

I’ve been taking my Buick to Bob at Pima auto for a while now. He has always been upfront with what needs to be done. He has a quality crew there that knows what they’re doing. You’d be hard pressed to find yourself a better automotive repair facility than this.

Being able to find a reliable, and trust worthy mechanic for your vehicle is often very hard, specially because now a days many business only think about making money first helping the customer last. Im not very fluent in the mechanic world, so Im clueless as to what my car would need. However, once I step foot into this shop I became more aware of the needs of my car. This place is worth going to they are friendly, knowledgeable, and also very invested in the happiness of their customers

Went here for a oil change they found my front wheel bearing were bad. They were bad so had them to repair for an estimated 400. After the repair was done and paid 499. for the job the owner told me the spendals were bad and my wheels would fall off. Would not recommend this place. Went to Kia to have my bearings checked they found one new and one old bearing. They relpaced my belts rotated the tires and a oil change and new bearing for 400. I would not suggest Pima auto .

Very friendly, honest and helpful! The chain companies like Discount Tires and Big O Tires would not repair one on my tires because it was too old, even though the tread was good then tried to sell me tires, Pima Automotive took out a screw and patched the hole!

This was my 3rd time going to pima automotive and I wont go anywhere else. Bob and his mechanics do a great job of trying to get you out as soon as possible. Theyre honest and dont try to haggle you into other services just to get youre money. I highly recommend their knowledgeable team for any of your auto needs.

Good service at a reasonable price for tire rotation and oil change. But it seems as though every time I bring my car in they point out something new to repair. Kinda feels like finding something wrong with your vehicle is in their job description to try and get you to come back.

These guys are not good. I should have walked out as soon as I walked in. There was a lady there that had to bring g her car back for the same problem 2x. I really doubt they did much for me. I was charged for a full synthetic oil change, but they used a cheap parts plus oil filter. They wanted 40.00 to change a front marker light. 5.00 bulb, unplug and plug. I have a 2000 ford ranger. They were supposed to replace my back seal on gearbox, but didnt. They were supposed to fix my flat, and rotate the tires they didnt. I even gave Bob a list. I spent almost 1000.00 for nothing. These guys are not straight. Go to the next shop.

Wow...first bad review Ive ever given. Decided to give this shop a try for an oil change and an engine sensor light. The two mechanics Ive worked with here were GREAT (even though they couldnt resolve the issue) but the owner...whoa - he was really cranky. First time, okay - maybe hes having a tough day. Second time - hmmm... Third time - Strike 3 and youre out.All three times, I was at their counter patiently waiting for someone to greet me, get off the phone to assist me to book an appointment, or take a payment... yet they took care of others who walked in after me, one time completely ignoring me until after the others had been taken care of. The owner stopped talking to me mid conversation twice to take payments from other clients and also book an appointment for a man who walked in well after I was there doing the exact same thing, leaving me standing there almost 15 minutes after already having waited about 30 minutes. Im really easy going, but this really surprised me.My brother owned a shop like this for many, many years so I know how hot and how hard it is for these guys... it can be a thankless job, but Im a darn good customer when minimum effort is made by staff to be courteous and honest. Its also one of the reasons, I try to do a little extra once in awhile to say thanks by dropping off treats and lunches at random throughout the year. Hope my new mechanic shop just down the road enjoyed their lunch today... For no reason other than a token of appreciation for their hard work. Sorry it couldnt have been your shop, because your mechanics are very nice and deserving.

Scam artists... As a AAA member we have always taken our vehicles there for repairs. We were traveling over the holidays and we couldn’t get an appointment so went to Pima Auto for an oil change. The shop called advising it needed 60,000 mile tuneup to include plugs and wires be replaced as well as the rear shocks were leaking for a total near $500 I declined the repairs as it didn’t sound right, we’ve always been very diligent with maintaining the vehicles. Within a few weeks the check engine light came on and was able to schedule with our AAA shop. The plugs are titanium tipped and are to be changed at 120,000 miles and there was no issue with the shocks at all and the truck was in perfect running condition only needing an air filter. Either they pulled the plug wire off and didn’t reset the codeor didn’t reset the one for an oil change thus causing the check engine to come on either way will never use to recommend them to anyone...

I needed something done about my AC and I needed an oil change. They were really careful about doing the AC work given that I didn’t have a lot of experience with my car (I had just bought it used). I really appreciated that they went through how My AC actually worked in this car. It is a little different. I am very happy with the level of service and their willingness to get to the real problem rather than fix a problem I was certain I had. (It turns out there was an issue with the AC but it wasn’t nearly as bad as I suspected.) Thank you for cooking my ride and saving me $$$.

PLEASE, do not take your vehicle to these guys! They are not honest! They supposedly fixed a noise I was hearing in my front end. Over $200! Left the shop and not only did I have the same noise, I had a few more. Dont get taken!
