. I took my elderly parents to look at new cars during the 1st covid outbreak and they tried to pressure them into buying a 2 year lease return with 61000 miles for $3000 over blue book. When I told them no, they were flabbergasted. They immediately tried to cut me out of the negotiations. Dont go to a dealer unless and until you search online. I found them the same car with 20000 fewer miles for $3000 less. Folks, dont let them rip off your elders, look online first.

I like my truck but this service department is a joke. What good is service for life if it takes 3 weeks to schedule an oil change? And when you do get it in there it will take 3 times as long as any other oil change service in town. I dont know if they are all like this but Im going to look around.

UPDATEShortly after publishing this review, I was contacted by Holmes Tuttle Ford regarding my negative experience at their dealership. The service coordinator I spoke to was very professional and he was committed to making sure that Holmes Tuttle Ford did right by me. Dave assured me that this type of situation would never happen again and said that he was going to talk with the service representatives involved, as well as reimburse me a portion of what I paid. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to not only speak to a representative, but hopefully prevent other customers from being blindsided as I was. Only time will tell whether my two cents were taken to heart, but as far as I am concerned, Holmes Tuttle Ford has earned back some of my respect and my rating will be adjusted accordingly.Original Review:I went to Holmes Tuttle Ford to address a problem that I had with the latch on the rear seat of my 2020 Ford Ranger. Since that problem was solved relatively quickly as my inability to latch the seat correctly was due to user error, I figured that I would have them install my front license plate bracket since I was already there. Almost 1 hour later, I had to pay $75 for something that I could have done myself in a 1/4 of the time for free. Considering that I supplied the original Ford OEM bracket and relevant hardware, I find the price tag to be unbelievable. The service manager never told me how much it would cost for the installation or labor ahead of time, so I feel blindsided that it turned out to be that expensive. Transparency, especially when it concerns pricing, is key to offering great service. I was disappointed that this was not the case at Holmes Tuttle Ford, especially since I have had great experiences at other Ford dealers in Arizona. If you went any hardware or accessories installed on your vehicle, I would suggest that you do it yourself or go elsewhere, otherwise you will be forced to pay the price.

Purchased a 2021 F150 from them and noticed a charge on the window invoice for Premium tint. I had the windows tinted myself and asked them what this charge was. They told me for window tint. I asked them if I could have this refunded to me. They said yes and I have never received the refund. After arguing with the Sales manager, I have given up and called the BBB and am seeking legal counsel. Do not do business with these crooks!

I just purchased my second Escape from Holmes Tuttle. I have consistently had excellent service in sales, servicing, and financing. My salesman for my latest Escape was Ruben Hernandez. He was helpful, respectful, professional, and didnt indulge in any high pressure sales techniques. This latest buying experience was very easy, and I feel I got an excellent trade-in on my old Escape.

Service department could use help! I recently noticed a leak b in my 2018 Ford escape. Immediately took it in to figure out where leak was coming from. Was greeted by someone acting as if I was crazy, and proceeded to tell me to put cardboard under the car and schedule an appt for a month out. Did offer to keep the car but could not provide alternative transportation and said it would be sitting for 2 weeks before it could even be looked at. Also suggested calling other dealerships to see if they could see me sooner. Attempted again to speak to a service advisor about the leak was continuing for a week now, leaving spots where I park. Was again told o could leave it for 2 weeks and on my own for transportation. I dont understand what happened to the customer comes first, or how we can help you? An offer for a rental or even split the cost of one, just your on your own. Now 3 weeks later, did find another dealer with appt but now have check engine light on. Hopefully lack of employees or service technicians didnt run my car. Service advisors should be able to move to shop to help out if you are short hacked. How many people do you need to make appts.

Even though i couldnt pull the trigger on a 2021 bronco sport because of a few lacking variables on the car Arthur R was a huge help! Got me to the deal we wanted! I have had all of the oil changes performed at this dealership since I purchased my vehicle from them about seven years ago - including the two and a half hour oil change done two days ago. After this oil change, for at least the the second time, I found a large puddle of oil on my garage floor the day after an oil change at Holmes Tuttle. Simon the service adviser was rude, short and condescending as he explained to me that it was my fault that the oil plug was stripped and leaking oil. The “rules of physics” clearly explain how it is my fault, according to Simon.Forty five minutes after I returned the vehicle to the dealership regarding the oil leak, Simon returned my car back to me and explained there was a serious problem and that I should take the car somewhere else and have it diagnosed. I guess that means that Jim Clicks mechanics are not skilled enough or perhaps not trained well enough to diagnose and deal with a problem with the oil plug. My oil plug and pan were not dripping a drop of oil prior to the oil change performed at Jim Clicks Holmes Tuttle Ford dealership.

Went to pick up a part we ordered from accessories dept. At the parts dept.The counter person said the order wasnt in and it would take two weeks to get things from Phoenix and that other dept always messes up orders. We told him it was coming from another dealer in town and it was supposed to be here at 12. He said oh its late and would be another 30 -45 min. We got the part and it fit great. But overall experience was dissapointing.

I took my car in for an oil change and when it got there there was other things wrong with it so they fixed it. I picked up my car and went out of town and I broke down had to have my car towed. And when it got to the shop they told me I didn’t have any oil. The last person that worked on it was Holmes Tuttle I have tried to call and speak to somebody about my car and no one has called me back the service there is terrible the way they treat the people is terrible I will never buy a car there and tell people never to buy a car there they treat you awful.

Bought a F150 3 days ago. Already got a flat and Holmes Tuttle was the closest ford dealership since i am out of town. They tried to tell me it would be a 1 day wait to have the tire patched. I believe the gentlemans name was Jordan that i was speaking to. Had zero care in the world that i was from out of town let alone bought a new truck 3 days ago. Very poor service and poor selection of a representative of their store.

Bought a Mach e. Like the car not in love with it yet, charging has been such a hassle. It’ll pause charging and charging takes hours. Performance of the vehicle is great. I haven’t even gotten my receipt of purchase yet or even a call from finance. I’m in desperate need of education on technology and having gotten a call from the ev “educator” person, it’s been a week.This was an impulse buy way out of my price range but the manager just said “well didn’t you thank about that before buying?” What can I say I messed up, but to not get any assistance in a week is bonkers. Hours of internet research and I stil can’t manage a charge with out paying at a station and calling the (800) number in or to get it done. I’ve never been so stressed in my life. Worst purchase of my life. And I’ve bought 5 in the past six years.

On 2/11/21 my husband and I purchased a vehicle from Holmes Tuttle Ford with Gap insurance and extended warranty. On 3/1/21 we took the truck to a local dealership because the check engine light came on. We were told that the truck needed roughly a few thousand dollars worth of work to be safely drivable. It is now 3/4/21, the carsalesman and the supervisor from Holmes Tuttle Ford have been of NO help to get this resolved. They are denying the claim to repair the issues and are now not responding. They knowingly sold us a truck that should have NEVER even been on the lot until those repairs were resolved.I will never again do business with this company and I highly suggest others avoid it at all costs if you dont want to be tied into a $23,000+ vehicle that is not safe to drive. If i could give them zero stars I would.

My 5/6/21 Email I sent to Holmes Tuttle Ford Sales Rep (Martin Marty H.) summarizes my experience with this dealership: Marty - This has been a very negative experience dealing with you . . . Over the last couple of decades, I have bought several new cars; the last three new cars I purchased were done online/via email and all were completely transparent where the dealership and salesperson immediately provided an itemized list of every single cost via email so I could make an informed decision, and proceed to have a fair and informed discussion with the salesperson and dealership management. These were positive car buying experiences. My dealings with you were the exact opposite; you have still refused to provide me an itemized list of costs/pricing, gave me varying prices, and essentially told me to take your final inflated price without ever providing me an itemized list of the charges because you feel that your cars are in such high demand that apparently you dont feel the need to be fair and transparent with customers by actually providing an itemized list of costs (after I had already requested an itemized list of all costs/pricing numerous times). You and your dealership quoted me three different prices within the span of about 24 hours ($29,895, $30,445, $30,988) and then your final email told me the final/non-negotiable price would be $34,693.91 (without ever providing me any itemized accounting of all the costs from how you got from your three different prices ranging from $29,895 to $30,988 to the final non-negotiable price of $34,693.91 - that seems to be the textbook definition of deceptive, un-transparent, unfair actions toward a customer). My dealings with you (as a representative of Holmes Tuttle Ford) has by far been the worst, most negative experience I have ever had with a car dealership. I politely asked three separate times for an itemized list of costs/pricing; you never provided them and then gave me a final non-negotiable ultimatum on the inflated mystery out the door cost of the car. I am so disappointed in my experience with you and Holmes Tuttle Ford in Tucson, AZ.Not surprisingly, the sales rep (Marty) never responded.Thereafter, I received a stock customer service email from a Chris M. at Holmes Tuttle Ford asking about my experience with the dealership and how he could help. On 5/18/21, I sent this email to Chris M.: Hi Chris. My intention was to buy my new mustang from Holmes Tuttle from the beginning of my car search. However, since I was treated so poorly by the Holmes Tuttle Salesperson, I bought my new mustang from another dealer that actually provided me an itemized list of all the costs based on my first email request (unlike the Holmes Tuttle rep who: never provided an itemized list of costs after numerous polite requests on my part, never apologized or offered any justification for refusing to provide a customer with an itemized list of all costs, and disavowed the itemized costs quoted by Holmes Tuttle via the TrueCar/Consumer Reports website which is how I bought my new mustang). I will forward the email interaction with the sales rep that reflects that he refused to give me an itemized list of costs and never offered any explanation for his poor behavior. I understand that there is a shortage of raw supplies (such as computer chips, etc.) and the market for both new and used car is very hot and demand/prices are high, but thats no excuse by this sales rep to arrogantly burn bridges with customers as demand will not always be this high and there are always other choices to buy vehicles (i.e., I chose another dealer solely due to the poor treatment by the sales rep at Holmes Tuttle). Is it Holmes Tuttles policy to train their sales reps to refuse to provide an itemized list of costs via email inquiries generated through online buying sites such as TrueCar/Consumer Reports?Again, Holmes Tuttle never bothered to respond to my email.

I want to share my story with all of you in hopes that you will never fall into the same problem I did. PLEASE!!!! steer clear of this place and their service department. I Brought my car in for a simple recall. When I gave them my car there was no issue with my car. My vehicle was 6 months old with a CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED WARRANTY and an extended warranty for good measure from another dealership. While completing the work, Jim Domino stated they found issues with my vehicle and it would cost roughly $5000 to fix. They manage to use my warranty to cover a lot of the work but I still came out of pocket roughly $1300. Upon receiving my vehicle back, the day I got it there was a loud and destructive popping noise it was so unbearable and unsafe I thought I was going to crash with my children in the car. Jim Domino requested I bring the vehicle back and they would look into it. I brought the vehicle back and they kept it for roughly 7 more days. When I received the car back they said they tightened everything and it should be good to go. Within 48 hours the sound returned even more violently. I brought the vehicle back and they requested I take a ride with the mechanic. Within 20 seconds the mechanic heard the noise stated, oh thats not good! We then turned and went back to the dealership. Upon returning with the vehicle, they gave me a loaner vehicle on January 4th. They kept MY vehicle for roughly a month and returned it February 1st. (If youre keeping track thats almost 45 total however days without my car) however upon returning it they told me I need to spend another $2500 to fix the issue. I dont understand how when they took my car there was no issue but now for some reason Im out of luck and need to spend roughly $4000 out of pocket to fix it. I have the paperwork saying this issue was done at their shop AFTER THEIR repairs, and not before I brought them the vehicle.(I will enclose the picture saying this and the verbage for you all to see).This is a terrible situation and I dont want it to happen to anyone else. I will tell this story and put this review everywhere!! If I can save 1 person from going through what I have it will all be worth it in the end. I am now stuck with a vehicle they have damaged that puts my family in risk. Especially my children. Please all of you stay clear from here and do not fall into their service trap!!Delete

We came in because we saw a car we liked online, and I was afraid he would try to sore is other more expensive or newer cars, but thats the only one we saw, and they helped us and got us a great rate, comfortable payments, and we are extremely satisfied. My recent visit here was unrelated to a car purchase (or any business at all with the dealership itself), but I have purchased a car here in the past. Very friendly and knowledgeable sales team that listen to what YOU want. The financing staff is also great to work with; I signed the paperwork on my car, completely happy with the price I paid and the terms of the lease. I got a call the very next morning, with the finance department letting me know that although Id have to re-sign a couple documents, they were able to drop my finance rate quite substantially, saving me all sorts of money. I have family members who have purchased a total of 4 vehicles from Holmes Tuttle over the past 4-5 years, and Id like to think well all continue to do so in the future.

I was traveling from Idaho to Tucson this week and got a CEL code on my 2015 F350 dually diesel pickup. It limited my power but was able to drive into Tucson. I called Tuesday evening at 5pm and asked to talk with a diesel service writer. I was on hold for less than a minute and Fred answered. I explained and he asked to come in the morning and he would quickly read the codes. I arrived at 9:05am and by 9:25am Fred met me, read the code, and scheduled me for 7am Friday morning. They would get the new DEF heater and install. WOW what amazing and responsive service!! I got a text reminder on Thursday and decided to drop off Thursday night. Easy and prompt reception Thursday at 6:45pm. Gabe was very polite and professional. Friday at 12:20pm I got a text my truck was ready at 1pm. Pickup at 3pm and everything was done exceptionally well. This is how a dealership should be run! Great job Holmes Tuttle Service Team. Thanks for getting me back on the road. Mark

I was disappointed with my experience at Holmes Tuttle Ford Lincoln. I asked for a dealer car when I scheduled my appointment two weeks prior. My appointment was to replace the faulty airbags again for a SECOND time. Ford sent me over to enterprise to get a rental car and I was given a Ford F-150, instead of putting me in a car similar to my mustang. If I worked for a dealership I would give someone a newer model of the car that they drive, with the hope that they may want to upgrade. The wait wasn’t long and the shuttle service was nice, but the whole situation was irritating because I had to check in with enterprise, put down a $50 deposit, and I found out at the end of my experience that I was supposed to refuel the car back to the original amount. I didnt get any information stating that I had to refuel the car and luckily I only drove 9 miles, so they let me slide. My mom told me that Range Rover NEVER does this to her. The shrapnel in my airbags combined with this experience has brought me to the conclusion that my next car probably wont be a ford.

I always utilize Mike Hill in the service dept.This man is straight forward and does exactly what he tells you he will do.I wish that I could get such service anywhere else! Went to this dealership to look at a vehicle that caught my eye online. Loved the truck! So I decided to give it a try and see if I could work it out to take it home. Got to a figure I was happy with. Specifically told the sales person that I would only authorize them to run my credit for financing through one specific bank and if it was denied then it wasnt meant to be. So needless to say I was quite surprised when they came back telling me a rate and payment that wasnt discussed. When I confronted the sales person he states that he told them only to run the credit once he went back to see what happened the Finance Manager came out to talk about the situation and proceed to try and give me a lecture about how credit works. I am fully aware of this hence the reason I didnt want them to run it multiple times. I left very frustrated so I checked my credit report and they ran it 4 different times. I am a die hard ford fan. Have owned 7 mustangs, 1 fusion,1 focus and an F150. So sad to see that the people at the dealership are only looking to line their pockets and not help the people who are helping pay their bills. Its sad to see that this is the way they have chosen to do business. Maybe this is why they are in the news about declining sales.

I was recently in the market for a truck. However, I wanted a specific truck that was lightly used and within my budget. I started at Watson but the atmosphere there was very hostile. So I took my business across the street. I was lucky enough to meet Henry, who was very relaxed and comedic at best. He wasn’t a typical pushy salesman, that’s a complete turnoff for me and my wife. After our introduction he asked what I was looking for. So I gave him my requirements and he went to work. Our first stop was to his sales manager Rocky. Anyone that’s ever dealt with a vehicle purchase knows that trust is limited with sales folks that work on commission. These two professionals put a side their needs to ensure mine were met. It took a little over two weeks, but Henry worked his butt off to find my unicorn! Then Rocky went to work to get the price as close to where I wanted it to be as he could. Let’s be honest, our jobs are to put bread on our table at home, as well as their job is to do the same. We were able to make that happen with the team work at Tuttle-Click Ford. In my 41 years of breathing, this experience has been the most pleasant one ever! Thanks Henry and Rocky for taking care of me.-Benjie

I moved to Tucson April 2019 and I had to take my car in for an oil change. I went to Pep Boys and I was charged $75 and they did not even do a 30 point inspection. Dissatisfied customer. Time came around for another oil change and I made an appointment online for a Saturday appointment at Holmes Tuttle Ford service and it was so easy. I arrived 1/2 hr early to my appointment and was quickly greeted by a friendly service attendant and he briefly told me the process and gave me my paperwork. Went the cashier for my pager and I was amazed at the waiting room. Clean, lots of seating and even a cafe. In About 30 minutes the service attendant approached me with the inspection report and explained the report to me. 10 minutes later my oil change was completed. Paid my bill which was 25% lower than Pep Boys and MUCH better service. I will be returning to Holmes Tuttle Ford Lincoln for future service.

Brought my F150 in to have repairs made to the AC system. After three weeks waiting on the warranty company, not Holmes Tuttle, they called and said the truck was ready for pick up. Everything seemed to be in working order again so I drove to work. That afternoon I took a look under the hood and what a mess! None of the clips that keep the electrical wiring away from the heat of the engine had been re-clipped and many were broken. The radiator shroud was just sitting there loosely with all the screws missing. Unacceptable. I immediately drove back to have them fix the issue. I showed one of the kids the problem areas and he took it back to be fixed. After a few minutes I was told I was good to go again. Took a look in the parking lot and only about half of the clips had been fixed. Ended up taking it home and fixing the rest myself. For a repair that would have cost me over 3500 dollars had the truck not been under warranty, you would think more attention would be paid to the details before calling the customer to tell them their vehicle was ready.

Set an appointment to have my F150 inspected @ 200K, intake tech gave me some run around about we dont have a 200K schedule inspection. I finally got a manager he said they would look at it but could not make any guarantees about remaking vehicle life. I responded with I didnt ask you for a guarantee, I just want an inspection so I can make a decision about whether I need a new vehicle. Well while knowing I was waiting and having made an appointment 2 weeks earlier, 7 hours later the vehicle was still in the queue when I asked them to please release my vehicle to me. Complete waste if a full day. Dont bother....

Ive bought many cars here over the years. Moved 4 hours away and havent been in for years. I was in the market for another car for my wife and gave them a shot again. I was introduced to D.Westling through the website. To say it was a pleasure would be an understatement. He had the car I was interested in ready and waiting when we showed up. Then was overly patient while my wife and I changed our minds a couple times. We ended up driving away in our new Escape Titanium.
