Larry does fast, affordable, great work! He answers his phone any day of the week at almost any time! Which works great for those that work abnormal hours! I’ve had my car fixed twice with him and both times he returns my car cleaned and waxed and even cleans my engine! Highly recommend!

Larry and company treat customers and their vehicles like they’re family. Larry went the extra mile and then some to get the work done fast and with perfect quality. My fender and fender liner had been completely wrecked in a deer hit and it took Larry and his team a matter of a few hours to make the fender region look exact and brand new for an incredibly reasonable price. On May 27th, 2020 took my 1989 Mercedes 300E over to Action Paint and Body to be painted located at 3037 N. Stone Avenue – Tucson, AZ 85705. Larry Hardman (owner) quoted $2,300.00 to be painted in a paint booth. Put down $1,300.00 down payment. Pick up car on June 30th, 2020. There were multiple items wrong with the paint job, damage to inside of car and was painted outside and not in paint booth and exposed to the sun the entire time. They said to bring car back in two weeks to fix items, but said they would not take responsibility for damage inside of car which consisted of right rear armrest broken and rear view mirror melted due to over exposure of sun. I said I would make final payment on the car when all items were corrected, but they refused to release car until I made final payment of $1,000.00, so I made the final payment. Returned car July 15, 2020 to have items corrected. They said items would be done by July 22nd, 2020. Made numerous phone calls went to voice mail saying full could not leave message and they have no email. Went over to check on car, items still not corrected and sitting in the sun. They said would be another week. Picked up car on July 31st, and again not all items corrected. At this point demanded they repaint car due to peeling. Returned car on August 19th, 2020. They said car would be repainted & completed by September 2nd, 2020. Made numerous phone calls again with no luck of answer. Went back over on September 2nd still not painted and more excuses. Went back over on September 18th, 2020, Larry Hardman said he had reserved a $60,000 (Imaginary) paint booth on September 22nd, 2020 and car would be ready to pick up on September 24th. Stopped by on September 22nd to see if car was being painted. It was not. Also new battery dead and the headliner on the inside of roof separated due to over sun exposure. At that point I decided to take my car, they refused to release car and closed the gate trapping myself, another person and my car that I drove over inside the property. I went over and opened gate and got out while, an employee of Action Paint was approaching. On September 23, 2020 car was painted. On September 25th, 2020 at 10am I picked up car and drove to my mechanics shop to inspect. Sanding of the car at paint shop was of extremely poor quality. The body under the door handles and underneath of bottom moldings were not sanded correctly, very rough and painted over. All black rubber moldings between door and frame were painted the same color of the car. 3” long drip on the driver door. Car does not appear to be buffed and dirty. This is a car I been trying to restore, and now with this extremely poor paint job and damage to the interior from the exposure to sun for four months. EXTREMELY UPSET WHAT THEY HAVE DONE TO MY CAR.

I havent gotten exceptional service like this in ages. Larry and Jessie took my banged up jeep with frame damage and made it look brand new. The body is all properly lined up and the paint came out like glass and even matched 100% (my biggest concern). He did all this in less than two days. The paint is holding up no problem and comes with a warranty as well. My Ram 1500 was severely damaged in a recent Hit & Run about 3 weeks ago. I took my truck in one Tuesday morning and Larry was extremely enthusiastic about getting my truck fixed 100%. The rear bumper, tailgate and tail light had to be replaced and the left quarter panel had to be un bent and stripped down to the bare metal before applying the original color of the truck. Larry gave himself a timeline and he met it even though there were minor set backs within his shop. He treated me extremely professionally and all his work was reasonably priced. I was extremely happy with his work and the time in which he got my truck back to me. Not only did I get my truck fixed but I made a good friend along the way. The owner crazy Larry is a great guy and he really helped me save a lot of money. I took in my 2006 Nissan 350z to repair the front left fender and he saved me tons of money. The estimate I received from collision care center was close to 2k, when Larry got my car looking great and running great for less than 400. Also, the shop is open almost every day of the year so it makes it super convenient. Larry will keep you updated on progress and most work is done within a day, unless its a large repair. You wont regret choosing this body shop!

I go to Crazy Larry for all of my Paint, Body, and Upholstery needs. He helps keep my fleet on the road. And he just came through again today. He got the rear seat in a 2007 Crown Victoria completely reupholstered in less than 24 hours. It looks factory done and for half the price. Crazy Larry is a USMC Veteran and as honest as they come. He wont always tell you what you want to hear but he will tell you the truth.

Had my Toyota Corolla repainted, was fading, looks like a brand new factory job. Very happy, good follow up, he backs up his work. I got 3 estimates, and he was the lowest. Would highly recommend him to anyone who wants a good quality paint job at a good price!

I managed to slightly bend the upper corner of my drivers side door such that rain could get in and you could hear the air rushing by while driving. The dealer wanted to replace the entire door for $1600, these guys did it for less than a quarter of that. The door is perfectly flush with the body again, no leaks, no noise. Its basically brand new again. I am seriously impressed and would recommend Larry to anyone!

Only place that was open on the weekend, and 24 hours at that! Worked with my budget and even offered to give me a ride home since I had to leave my car overnight! The boss and his workers are very kind and caring and work hard to get what you need done. I would 100% go back to Crazy Larry’s shop!

Larry and Jesse are the best. Nobody in town would help me with my 1994 Honda del sol because parts were obsolete. We found the parts and Jesse put too many hours on the body work and paint. Most of the work had to be rigged because the parts were not an exact fit. This car was only made for four years and 27 years ago. It is impeccable work! My car looks brand new. They treated me so well and did not charge me for the extra labor. He even gave me rides to and from work on top of delivering my car to my workplace when it was done! I cannot put into words the gratitude I have for Larry and his team, he is here to help and will give discounts to military, hospital and students. Five stars is not enough for these guys, I will not go anywhere else for my auto needs.

I got in a semi serious car accident a few weeks ago and was told my car was totaled because I bent the frame, cracked my radiator, fans, struts, AC and other stuff I dont even know of because I know nothing about cars. Needless to say, I was very upset because the car is relatively new and I still owe a lot on it (my car insurance is terrible and is doing everything possible not to cover me, but that is a different story).Anyhow, I thought I only had two options: deem the car as totaled, refinance it and just pay it off or pay thousands of dollars to fix it. Neither option was good but my dad and other friends recommended Larry to me as the best mechanic and body shop guy in Tucson without overcharging compared to dealerships or other mechanics.To make the long story short, I dropped my car off Tuesday 6/19/2018 and had it back by 6/24/2018.Larry is a miracle worker. He treated me like gold, put my mind at ease and most importantly, fixed my car - it looks like I never crashed it and it runs great. The pain job is fantastic and it really looks like I just bought it new from the dealership.
