No respect for customers time. I understand they have many customers so I called beforehand to make an appointment for oil change and was told 1pm next day. So I dropped 1pm next day and told them I could pick it up later. 2 hours later I called to check if oil change was done or not, and was told that not yet, they were doing jobs that had appointment. huh? so my tiny oil change job is not worth your appointment? So I had to pick it up without serviced. IF you dont have time(which I totally understand), just dont schedule a time with customers! Please dont waste others time. I guess they are too good and busy for a small job like oil change, dont bother and waste your time.

Fantastic repair shop! I was pleasantly impressed with my service here. I was able to squeeze in an oil change on my lunch while saving so much on it, too. I was also given advice on my car without the pressure of buying anything more, genuine service! Would recommend.

The staff is not helping and very rude,this happened twice with mebecause of low price I drove half an hour to the shop after taking appointment one week ago, and after I reached there guy first said you have to wait for 2 to 3 hours, which was also ok for me, but looks like he did not even wanted me there, He after said, go somewhere else I dont have time, come after two days, ....... given the situation I understood there may be work load but this is not the way to treat customer, specially after one of his staff member gave me appointment on that day.if you gave appointment at list try to keep it. otherwise what is the meaning?I was so disappointed, would not recommend it.not worth your time..

I brought my jeep wrangler here on two occasions. I had an excellent experience and would not hesitate to bring my vehicles back here. Nick is very knowledgeable and honest. I had the transmission replaced, differentials flushed, and the transfer case flushed. The service was done in a timely manner and they went above and beyond to get my everyday driver back on the road.

Revive auto repair is by far the BEST auto repair in state of Michigan. I’ve had many car services done by them multiple times and they never disappoint . Nick and Henry are the best at explaining everything in details even if you know nothing about cars they make sure that you know what’s getting fixed . They offer the best customer service. Nick was very straight forward with diagnosing my problem, as well as informing of potential other problems caused by the issue. It was night and day compared to the dealership. Only issue was timing, but it is a very busy shop and I did have a very labor intensive job done. Overall I am satisfied and would come back.

I booked an appointment last night for 11:45am today for my sons car which is leaking gas fumes. My son pulled up this morning and the owner told him they were closing (no reason) and told him he could drop it off overnight and leave it for a day which is not feasible since my son works and is in school (he didnt bring this up to the owner). When I called my son and found out he was on the way home and why, I called to ask the reason for him being turned away (the website shows Saturday hours of 8 - 3). The owner explained that they close at 1 on Saturday and that I didnt enter the problem in the appointment request (there is no field to enter such information) and he didnt have time to look at my sons car today. I was upset, but I did not curse or raise my voice and asked why no one could call this morning to say any of this. He did apologize, and I then said goodbye and hung up. A few minutes later, wanting to explain that I was upset because of the urgency of the repair need, I called back (bad idea). The owner then began to tell me that in the previous call, I over-talked him and was aggressive (I know exactly what that code language refers to). At that point, I told him Id be leaving this negative review and hung up. He then called back TWICE from two different numbers and since I would not answer, left a voicemail explaining again that my son could drop his car off during the week, which was fine, however then began to lecture me how I should behave as an adult without knowing anything about me except my justified disappointment in the lack of service I was expecting. I do admit that I shouldnt have called back, but I will not apologize for being upset. I work with customers on a daily basis and when my employer fails to meet their expectations, even with good reason, and they express frustration, it is expected and not my place to tell them they are wrong for being frustrated or to label them as aggressive. Nevertheless, i will take my business elsewhere where I am not profiled and where my adult money is welcome.

I did not need to come into the business since you left my key fob under the floor mat. Dashcam footage confirms the times listed, as well as you being in the parking lot when the vehicle was picked up. You did advise me on Tuesday at 3:10PM, during our recorded conversation, that you had not had the opportunity to look at my car yet and had 2 vehicles still in front of mine. I understand that you cannot give an estimate without an inspection - hence the reason I dropped the vehicle off to you.Original review:I had an appointment for an estimate on a Tuesday. I dropped it off the night before and called after 3pm the day of to get an update. They hadnt looked at my vehicle yet but might get to it by the end of the day. Once he found out I had an extended warranty, he tried to convince me that I did NOT need the estimate. I simply needed to give him my claim number and he would do the rest. He was rude and arrogant about my request. He said in 19 years of business, he has never had a single customer with a warranty ask for the estimate first and told me, I cant help you. when I refused the claim number. I wanted an accurate estimate before it got jacked up for a warranty claim, which is my experience over the last 30 years. Another garage promptly gave me a quote and earned my business. The total repair bill was $200 less than my deductible.

I went to Revive Auto for repair for a throttle body and fuel pump regulator. 6 months later I need a whole new one. If you want better car service I prefer not going to this car service. The owner think he is very slick...horrible!

Very bad behavior and liar person. Wont recommend to anyone.Edit in response - My group was expired more than 8 months back and my oil change was done more than 8 months back. If you need you can check carfax. Either your system is wrong or you just dont want to use the Groupon. Its not about paying the $27. Its about trust. If you remember, I came second time within a week for an oil change. First time you said Im late even it was just 2 minute and you said my appointment is gone just because I mentioned I have Groupon. Second time I came 5 minutes early and then I waited for 10 minutes and after that you started telling me all those stories 6 month and all.. which was not a real fact..

Terrible business, all I wanted done was an inspection I made an appointment online for Monday right when the place opened when I dropped it off he told me 1 or 2 days tops to get it checked I said okay I received no call on the 2nd day and decided to call they picked up the phone didnt say anything and started acting rude when I started talking first your a place of business pick up the phone with some respect not an attitude they told me my car would get looked at first thing in the morning so I reassured and lied too I waited till an hour before they closed on the 3rd day and walked in and asked if they looked at it yet I got told there was 8 cars still ahead of me are you kidding me dont bs me and tell me 2 different times on the phone it should happen today so then i asked for my keys back I got a negative attitude and got told im not gonna find anywhere and nobodys gonna help me because there booked up family owned business (what a joke by the way) most unprofessional joke of a business ive ever seen they dont care about small time people no respect whatsoever towards customer. Recently bought a used Audi Q5 and was searching for a trustworthy repair shop in the area. I went to Revive due to its stellar reviews and having experienced their customer service first-hand, I can understand why they have such great reviews. I had my brake pads and rotors replaced at a decent price, the brakes perform nicely so all good there.But when I bought my Q5, I noticed it didn’t come with the backup camera, and having heard a $750 quote from another shop (clearly a rip off), I was apprehensive but thought I’d ask Nick to give me a quote anyway-- $105 installation fee (not including parts). The wireless backup camera I purchased from BestBuy wasn’t a great fit for my car, so Nick went above and beyond doing research for me, and recommended (a even cheaper) backup camera that works perfectly for my car. The new camera works great, but what impressed me the most is Nick’s professionalism, and amazing trustworthy customer service. For that, I’d highly recommend Revive and Nick to anyone looking for top notch service and great customer experience.

They replaced my starter and some other electrical issues, they were fast in the service and extremely polite. The owner took his time and explained everything and kept it affordable. I would recommend Revive Auto.

While there seems to be no issue with the quality of service, the conduct of the employees and how they communicate with their customers lacks professionalism and basic courtesy.Since I cannot respond to the comment below, sounds like a scheme to avoid a bad review of employee conduct. The auto shop was clean and comfortable. I watched TV as my car was being worked on. I really enjoyed the cold water dispenser. Nick was honest and upfront about pricing. I was only there for 35-40 minutes, not like at the dealership. I will be back!!!! Ask for Nick tell him I sent you!

Went in to get my brakes checked out. Was very helpful and informative. Was upfront about how long the repairs would take and the cost including labor. Showed me what was wrong and explained everything throughly. Also told me about other critical issues I wasnt aware of and what was needed to rectify them. Ive been to Revive three times in the last two months due to a failed engine. Nick was very helpful and knowledgeable in explaining what happened to my engine and how it had to be taken care of. I appreciated how direct he was with me; he told me what I needed to hear rather than what I wanted to hear. In two months he replaced my engine, fixed a bumper, and repaired my brake line, all while making sure that the work was affordable and efficient.

Best of the best Quality service, Price is very competitive. I went to this place after reading many great reviews from Yelp ( 4 1/2 stars) and it was true. Price and service at Revive is always above and beyond. I dropped in here on a Friday Nick had the parts in the shop within the hour and I was driving two hours later. Had a frozen blower motor in a volvo and Nick and his guys took care of it in less than 24 hours and runs perfectly. Called him, explained the situation, and they were working on a few hours later. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Took my 1986 Corvette to Revive to repair/correct the cars pull to the left when the breaks were applied. Revive diagnosed the problem as an anti break lock system issue. Since replacement parts are no longer manufactured, Revive contacted local used part suppliers to no avail. A source was located on the West coast USA. Once the parts arrived and installed, the car was again performing as new. This total process took only 24 hours. Nick and his staff have been excellent and honest in repairing my cars.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Fantastic customer service and extremely skilled technicians. Nick and his staff are conscientious, honest and reliable. Work is top quality, and repairs are done right the first time. Their prices are fair and they never push you to purchase a service that you dont need. Good place was a mechanic for. 19 years. Pricing and work good. Had minor complication fixed right away. Didnt charge labor but did charge parts. How could he have been better?

UPDATE: Once again, EXCELLENT SERVICE! Had to take my Toyota in for repair (it died on me on I-75). Nick quickly diagnosed the problem (bad alternator) and fixed my vehicle within a few hours. I was given a limited lifetime warranty on the alternator (Nick even offered to pick me up from my house since my car was at the shop). I cannot say enough positive words about Revive Auto and how it is run. If youre looking for honest professionals, youll find it at Revive.Took my 2006 Toyota Camry in for repair. Nick (the owner) was able to quickly diagnose the problem (leaking radiator) and fix it in less than 24 hours. Nick and his crew were very professional, and the service was reasonably priced. I WILL be returning in the future for automotive maintenance when needed.

Every time I have went to Revive it has been a pretty good experience. The pricing is very transparent and fair(versus a block pricing for something based on how much they think they can get from you). The recommendations are always appreciated. Im not nervous about going to the shop because Ive never felt like I have to prepare for a showdown in order to not get swindled. Plus they a Repair Pal shop, which estimates prices.

Wow, I cannot say enough. My car runs Fantastic since I found Nick and one of his staff members, Karim, who is assigned to my car. Revive referrals came from two different auto part stores, 1 in Troy, other in Sterling Heights, to take my car to Revive. Nick is very patient, does not rush you, takes the time to explain what you need and do not need. The other repair shop damaged my car severely, in which Revive was able to repair to a top quality car again! I did not want to purchase another car and now I do not have to. Karim is assigned to my car and he is so witty and easy-going. I felt I needed to have my brakes service, but Nick refuse to, stating to me, YOU do not need new brakes right now and I will not perform and charge you for a service that you do not need. Wow! I felt the hourly charge for labor was a little steep, but after receiving my car back and the way it is running now, it was worth it! Karim suggested I switch to premium gasoline for better engine performance, and he was on point, amazing results! See you guys again in the future for regular maintenance!

Revive auto is the best! Nick is one of the nicest, and most honest mechanics out there! All the guys do a great job and do their best to get it done quickly and right! I’m always pleased with their servicing! I won’t go anywhere else!

Dishonest. And incompetent.Had my car towed in with what was probably a leak in the clutch hydraulics. They told me I needed a new clutch. Maybe, although I hadnt previously had any clutch problems. Then they said I also needed a new transmission. Maybe, although I hadnt previously had any transmission problems. They said they found a really good deal on a salvage transmission--$900. Two weeks and $2600 later I had my car back, but it didnt feel right. They bled the system again and assured me it was fine.So I went on my long-planned vacation trip. Got to Montana and the car broke down. Shop there said you need a new transmission. Turns out Revive didnt actually replace the transmission--they just contracted with a transmission shop to replace the transmission housing, and when they put the old transmission parts back inside, they screwed it up. There were needle bearings loose inside the housing.The Montana shop also quoted $900 for a transmission--but that was actually a transmission, and they actually installed it correctly. Of course, I was out the $2600, plus another $1900 in Montana, plus hotel, rental car, and loss of my vacation.

This place is incredible! They took my car in the back and I sat down only for a few minutes and they told me my car was already finished. Fast and friendly! I definitely recommend this company!

If your vehicle is having any problem, or just needs routine servicing, this is the place to bring it for amazing work at an amazingly low price. The work they do is of the highest quality and it is guaranteed. My only complaint is that I wish I found them sooner. I trust Nick and his crew with my Wrangler and my A4. Good customer service. I used a groupon to get my oil changed for more than half the price. These guys did a great job on my car. Even checked out some things with my front end I was concerned about. Quoted me a fair price for my front end repair and changed my oil even though I didnt schedule an appointment. Got me in and out in 30 minutes. The only reason I didnt give a full five stars was the guy in the office kept saying you should of read the fine print on the groupon... which in all fairness I skimmed through so he was right but kinda made me feel stupid for not reading it thoroughly. Overall great place to get your car worked on.

Completely unprofessional. I will never do business with them again. Ordered a bumper from them then found it cheaper and tried to cancel the order. They refused to cancel and said i would have to return it after i recieve it. Chaged me $10 for a USPS teturn Label only to find out USPS doesnt ship items this big. Went to UPS and teturn shipping is $230. Absolute rip off artists. They must need the money

Couldn’t get headlight out to change bulb. Went to dealership and they wanted $50 to change the bulb. Told them forget it. Stopped at Revive Auto on way home. Guys were nice and not condescending. Changed the bulb with theone I tried to install and charged less than half what dealer wanted and done in 10 minuets. If your car or truck isn’t under warranty I would go to Revive . Nothing bad to say only props!

My car started running rough and shuddering while driving. Turns out one of the four cylinders wasnt working because of a ... uh, part (Im clearly not a mechanic) that needed replacing. I pulled into Revive and Nick ran the codes, replaced the part and had me on my way in less than an hour. My sisters car broke down a few buildings down. Serpentine belt snapped. I couldnt get the car to start or steer without a ton of force.Nick offered to come out and hook up a portable battery to get car in a left turn lane in traffic. He did this without hesitation, drove the car back to his shop. Within a half hour the car was fixed and she was on her way.Price was great, service was above and beyond. Brought car in for a simple repair, which they could not fix. They had the car for six weeks and kept giving me a story or an excuse when I called. Such as, It should be done in a couple of days. Finally, I had to take the car to another place where they made the repair within two days. Not a competent mechanic unless youre going for something simple, like an oil change or brake pad swap. If they have to do any thinking or diagnostics, they are completely lost.

I was driving down the road and all of a sudden I heard a clunking noise in my wheel, I pulled over to the side and noticed that my tire was sitting inside of my fender and I didnt know what to do because I was just about to go out of town. I called a dozen places and none of them could get it done even within a week as well as their price quotes were over $1000. By the time I called Revive auto repair I was frustrated and I knew they werent going to help me, but I was wrong. Dakota walked out and got the keys to my vehicle and said dont worry will have this fixed up for you in a jiffy! I was a little doubtful but I had hope within three hours I was driving my vehicle and the bill only came to $350 which is a dramatic decrease from the thousands of dollars everybody else wanted to charge me! I went in for a simple oil change and Nick went beyond just changing out my oil, he saw a few simple quick cosmetic fixes he could make to the interior of my car and did them free of charge. These guys are the best. I was screwed over by a dealership just recently (very true story) and the dealer did not want anything to do with resolving the problem. So the next time I had a problem with my truck I decided to go to Revive near my office. I had in a extremely bad position (long story) but I needed my truck fixed asap. They had every opportunity to take advantage of me, and they didnt. The repair was done quickly and under what they quoted me. I will be going back for any future repairs!!!

They got me in there with a discounted oil change, but you can tell right away its a very professional shop. It was busy, but not chaotic. I came back for a ball joint replacement. Everything on time as promised! The guy at the desk (Nick, I think.) and the mechanic who dropped me a t work (in his own car) were real pros!

I was in Troy when my car started acting weird. Check engine light kept blinking. Being a student, car repairs could be scary. I called revive auto and got an appointment in next 2 hours. Spoke to Nick about what was happening and he was able to diagnose my car and get it back running again. It didnt hurt my wallet that bad. I would definitely come back here again.
