Where I have gone for past 5 years to repair my aging Buick. These guys are stellar: fair to a fault, quick and great customer service. If they can’t fix it or don’t know what’s wrong, there’s typically no charge. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Do not bring your car here! They do not stand by their work and you could pay dearly. Gary Knurek Goodyear destroyed our car and offered us nothing in compensation.We brought our 4Runner in on 9/3/2020 to have the timing belt replaced and the cooling system overhauled. My first time driving the car and less than 100 miles after Goodyear fixed it, the engine overheated and blew the head gasket.Gark Knurek Goodyear claimed that the overheating was unrelated to any repairs that they performed, even though they overhauled the entire cooling system. 3 other mechanics have since looked at the car and verified that the cause was in fact an issue with the cooling system.As a result, we have had to scrap the car and buy a new one. A $15,000 mistake I will not be making again.We had previously used them for at least 15 years. They used to be a stand up and friendly mechanic for us, but not so any more.

Today was our first experience here. Since Phil Cavill sold to Pep Boys a couple of years ago weve been looking for a new garage. Tried three. Wasnt satisfied. Read reviews here and decided to try. They could not have been better! Great service! Immediately found the problem and fixed it in just a couple of hours. Very impressed. We have found our new garage!

Fantastic experience. Brought my car in after the radiator began leaking, they were able to give me an estimate within an hour and managed to replace the entire cooling system by the end of the day for a fantastic price!

Great service. Needed an alignment. Finished the alignment in less than 90 minutes. Car returned very clean.

Decent service. Im disappointed that my factory coolant was replaced with some universal stuff and the original spring clamp was removed and a hose clamp installed, all without replacing the thermostat. The alignment seems fine but a little pricey considering they only did the toe adjustment on 2 wheels.

10 years ago I was in need of a new mechanic. Wow on all levevels. Customer service, great explanation of services done and what is needed next. I trust them and recommend them always. Honest people and honest prices.

I slid into a curb one day pulling into work and bent my rear tie rod. I first went to another shop and was told it’s gonna cost around $1500 for parts. That didn’t seem right to me especially because my car still drove completely fine. My friend recommended Gary Knurek Goodyear to me. They are the best! I took my car in the next day, not only did they quote 1/3rd of the price. But my car fixed the same day! I will definitely be returning for any future repairs and maintenance.

These guys, Gary Sr., Gary Jr. and Chuck are legit. Called yesterday morning around 9, they recommended a great tire and got them in stock by noon in a snow blizzard. Quoted a time for install and met it, all while being nice and friendly. Performed an alignment and said it was perfect even when they could have told me otherwise and I would have never known. Legit! The real deal. They have my lifelong business. Thank you guys!

We have had our share of aggressive auto shops trying to up and oversell service, but this is not one of them. Gary and his staff not only know what they are doing and are totally honest, they have taken great steps to help us keep our old autos running good without putting unneccessary money into them. Previous experiences were 5 ☆. Had to edit due to gross negligence at previous visit and how that situation was handled today. Took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. Asked them to diagnose noise car was making. In the same amount of time that a normal visit for rotation, I was told the sound was due to a belt that was worn. A little while later took the car back in because the belt snapped, and found out that the air conditioner compressor just shredded apart. Now that I knew the part name, a 30 second Google search led me to multiple videos thats named the air compressor pulley system as the culprit of the noise. In other words the mechanic did not do his due diligence to diagnose the car correctly. When I asked about this, all I got was a generic there must not have been evidence present when inspected, even though the noise was present every single time the car turned on. Its unfortunate, because I would have completely recommended this shop to anyone who asked previous to this visit. It takes the handling of one situation, such bad business practice, to change the way I view this place. No responsibility was taken at all for the mechanics lack of quality in his work. Ridiculous. Nice and polite, but they definitely dropped the ball on this one, and failed to pick it up when confronted with the issue. 1 star visit today, for sure. ☹☹☹☹☹☹☹

All the staff there treated me like I was a long time patient even though only my first visit.My total treatment plan was thoroughly discussed. I was running late for an appointment in an area I wasnt familiar with when I realized I had a flat tire! LUCKY for me that it happened close to this shop. These guys got me in and out and on my way in 10 minutes. They even gave me directions to where I needed to....and a very generous discount.

Got a flat on my way home from work today. Walked over from gas station next door where I had stopped to try to fill the tire with no luck. Was told they would be closing in about 5 minutes so they couldn’t do anything to help me. So I walked back to the gas station in my heels and suit and changed the tire to the spare myself. I will go anywhere but back there to get my tire repaired or replaced. If it were my business I would have helped, but my parents raised me right. And luckily I was also taught how to change a tire.

Ive been a customer since 2011 if Im not mistaken. Had personal cars and business cars repaired here. The service is outstanding - patience, clarity and straight shooting. I get all the information I need with explanations which is another way of saying they are very knowledgable. The work is great, if ever the issue was not resolved in the first visit they honored their work and warranty to make sure the source of the problem is found and resolved. The pricing is fair. I sense a lot of integrity and honesty from everyone working here whether it was at the front desk or a mechanic out the back. Im surprised there are not more reviews but then again Ive been guilty of not giving them a review because Ive not had anything to complain about them and most people remember to write reviews when there is a problem. I took my car in the day after New Year because the battery died. I was told they were to busy to get to the battery and I would have to try to bring the car back the following day ( I arrived after work around 5 oclock that day). As I was leaving Kris Volunteered to test the battery to make sure I would be able to drive the car the next morning. When the test told him I would most likely have to jump the battery in the morning, he offered to sell me a battery so I could change it out myself. I was more than willing to do that. I asked him to walk me through the steps of changing the battery. When he noticed I was not mechanically incline, he offered to quickly change the battery himself. I was very grateful for Kris willingness to help in the subzero temperature on such a busy day. I have been a customer for many years and plan to cont. to utilize the services at Gary Knurek for many years to come. Thank you for being accommodating and always willing to help.

Usually I have good experiences going to this location but for the last two times that I have been it seem as though customer service is going out the door. For me to travel so far to get service and to get there and be told that they close five hours early because of a cruise is ridiculous to me. When I originally called someone should have told me that they will be closing five hours early, because when I look online it still has the same hours, so I just thought it was inconsiderate of them to not tell me and I travel 45 minutes just to get there. That made me extremely upset and I most definitely wont be returning

Had considerable repairs to the suspension of my HHR. Called 7 different places in the area for quotes. Gary Knurek Goodyear had the lowest price and the best warranty. They got all the repairs done on a Saturday so I didnt have to miss any work. Gary was very nice and informative with the phone quote and Chuck was just as awesome when I dropped off my car and calling me with updates. I had a coupon for the alignment but they applied an extra coupon for the other suspension work and gave me a free wash coupon when it was all done. THEN I even got a thank you card in the mail a few days later. Amazing people. Absolutely will be going back to them with anything else my car needs.
