Standard Apple store with the typical layout. Note that at peak times youre going to want to make sure to put your name on their list, because they are not allowing more than a certain number of people in the store at one time due to COVID. Do not plan on stopping by the store for a quick in and out.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever received. Two employees Justin and Sarah claimed to be managers but I’m not entirely convinced. It would have been very easy for them to offer instructions for a hard reset volume button up volume button down hold the power button, instead they seemed to delight in telling me I had to wait six hours to have someone tell me that. They both lacked sincerity, critical thinking skills or common sense.

Darren was kind, considerate, and had a great propensity to help and solve our issue with the Iphone 12. He went out of the way for us and we really appreciate his kind gesture. I recommend you to try and seek assistance from him the next time youre at the store/while booking an appointment. You wont regret it. :)

Waited in line for 35 minutes and strongly encouraged to go order online-we should have. They then ushered us into the store to wait for service. People kept coming over to the Apple Watch table and asking us to move so they could help others. We looked at the watch bands (which is what we needed help with) and after 15 minutes decided to leave and place our order online. Obviously Apple prefers to avoid investing any time in their customers. Hopefully ordering online works better.

Came there 10 minutes before scheduled time and were not let to join the line by the security personnel. 2 minutes prior appointment time we were fifth in line and waited for 40 minutes to get to the genius bar. Then another 70 minutes to get the phone fixed.It looks like the personal don’t worry about customers waiting for so long, but are very worried about letting people 5minutes earlier in line (like they gain something from people waiting longer than they should).

They were very helpful with our AirPod pros when one earpiece stopped working. We were immediately greeted and checked in for our appointment. When the issue couldn’t be immediately solved we were suggested to go do shopping and stop back in half an hour, so our time wasn’t wasted. When we returned we were told that one AirPod was physical damage, so we paid for that replacement but the other AirPod was replaced no charge. Everyone was very helpful.

So, love this place! A haven in a mall. Got the lunch special chicken salad sandwich with soup and salad. Butternut squash soup is delicious, not to sweet, but pumpkin seeds are a bit weird a flacid in the mouth. The chicken salad sandwich was the business, however they did make mine with an end crust, but hid it by flipping it over, which is either shisty or impressive. Either way, great experience. Express Pickup Only : Order online to get the schedule for pick up per the timing slots.I had a wonderful experience. The guy at the pickup window was nice and had some good talk with him for 2-3mins while waiting for the iPhone to arrive from the inventory room.Apple care plans can be added on arrival if you forgot to add during the iphone order. It takes only a minute or so.Though it was weekend and the Washington Square Mall was pretty much occupied, I had to wait in the apple store queue for only 10mins.They follow the proper sanitization for every customer. They change their gloves, wipes the counter top and use hand sanitizer after every customers visit.

I’m having issues with a new iPhone 12 mini I bought about two months ago when they first came out. Went to the Apple store to get it sorted out. I was told I couldn’t get inside because of COVID and had to download an app and make an appointment. Not very many people in the store. Employees standing around doing nothing. Why do I have to come back? I had to drive 30 minutes to get to the store. Why didn’t the person at the door make an appointment for me? Called support and got an appointment for Sat. I have to wait 4 days and spend another hour of my time to drive to the mall again to get my new $750 phone fixed. I didn’t have to wait to buy the phone. But I have to wait to get my broken phone fixed? Irritated!

We dont live close to an Apple Store so we made an appointment knowing we were coming up for a different appointment. My sons iPhone 11 hasnt worked since we got it last August. Tmobile couldnt help us, Geek Squad couldnt help us. We called Apple support so many times it was ridiculous. Apple support said we HAD to go to a store to get help. At this store, the seemingly unknowledgeable employee couldnt figure out what was wrong. He checked with a manager and came back and reset my sons phone. He said if that didnt help, we needed to call Apple Support!!! We kept telling him they had us go to the store and he just shrugged. Super unprofessional and very frustrating. Apple needs to step up and fix their products ESPECIALLY if none of their employees can figure out whats wrong.

Your Covid theatrics are appalling and irritating as a customer. Ridiculous to have a line for a store that is empty. Had an issue w/my laptop not ejecting the CD in my external disk drive. Called apple support, they couldn’t troubleshoot, so set me up an appt to come in to the store. I live in SE PDX, so it was during rush hr, and got there 10min earlier. Only had to wait 10min! Was called right away, and w/in minutes, Mario was able to eject the CD from my drive, show me a trick in case it happened again and had remembered me from a year prior when I bought my laptop! He was super helpful, polite, eager to help, and made me feel good in general. He had an awesome vibe!! Was very satisfied w/my issue! It was the CD that was faulty, not the hardware. Wish it was like the old days where u can have more one on one contact w/associates and weren’t confined to being behind the glass, but I was glad that my issue was resolved in minutes. Washington Square Apple store is very friendly and I highly recommend you go here! I don’t mind going out of my way to go here!

My Mac iOS has been slow and now not working at all. This has been for several months. It is useless. 2 days of 5 hours each on phone with Apple care and not fixed. I am physically unable to sit for this amount of time. Can’t take my computer to apple store as they understandably have limited store capacity. Can’t make an appointment with them. Immediately sent to on line help. I pay for Apple care and should not have to pay a private person to solve this. No customer service. I am sorry I ever purchased a Mac from them. Do not recommend. Went to go purchase a new phone on a Thursday around 1pm. There were at least 6 Apple store employees hanging around looking bored. Only 1 or 2 customers. I also had a question about my kiddos Apple ID so...they wouldn’t let me in because I had a question and you need an appointment for that! I’d understand if there weren’t any employees or they were all helping folks. I should have taken a photo of the store with all the employees with only 1 or 2 customers. But you’ll let me in to spend $1200 on a phone but not answer a question? I left . Poor customer service.

Was slightly annoyed that β€œApple Security” was out front asking what was the purpose of my visit. I was shuffled into the right queue and waited my turn to enter the store. Came early to my appointment and was asking the security personnel if there was anything I could do to just drop my laptop off. Asked them a couple of questions, waited for the answers and there was nothing they could do. Makes sense during this time. The manager pulled me aside and asked if I needed help, told them what was going on and they just really wanted to tell me I couldn’t wait by the store - again that’s perfectly fine. I was just trying to see if I could get my laptop shipped rather than come back into a mall that is insanely packed as someone with an autoimmune disorder. With that said, they then proceeded to tell me that I was harassing the security personnel when I asked them a couple of questions and waited for answers. There was NO line when I was talking to security but apparently I was harassing them by asking what can I do other than wait in a busy mall. Really inconsiderate management during a really trying time.

My family and I have been shopping at Apple Washington Square ever since we moved to Tigard a few years ago.I had to very recently replace my wonderful iPhone 7+ when it stopped working. I was able to order my new iPhone online, choosing all of the details and specifications I wanted. And then I picked it up in-store ready to use the very next business day.THE BEST PART IS the activation and transition from my old phone (phone number, contacts, iCloud, monthly phone plan with my carrier) was SEAMLESS. And it was less expensive than if I had bought the phone from my carrier.Keep Apple-direct in mind before upgrading/buying.All of the staff at the store are super-friendly and helpful, as well as knowledgeable about their products.Excellent place to find great Holiday gifts too!

Apparently you need a reservation to buy a device you know want and have done the research on but if you need help with a mouse or accessory, they’ll help you out. I don’t know how that works.Apparently, if you’re a Karen they’ll help you set up a reservation. If you went out of your way and explained that you’ve looked at the website for two weeks without any indication to needing a reservation, they’ll just look at you until you walk away and set it up yourself.I couldn’t even get a confirmation if they had the device in stock.I’m going to set up a reservation but during that time I’ll be asking the same questions. Speaking as a POC. I came here to buy a iPhone as mine just broke. I was in town for work, so I needed one asap. So I went to Apple in Washington Square, and found out you have to order one online first and wait a couple days before you can pick it up from what I was told by man from the Apples security team. He said no which was cool, until one of the lady whom was also a Apple security overheard our conversation and out of no where just said, Oh your just trying to save money from no taxes, and that I was trying to be cheap. Spent hours trying to call store since couldnt make appt online after a week of two of us trying. Finally got sent to apple call center on phonesphone, she couldnt make appt either, was very confused by it, but she advised to go to store in person as walk in. She assured us that the 90min drive wouldnt be wasted, they can schedule us for walk in when we get there. We get up and leave at 9:30am, got to store at 10:50am, ten minutes before opening. Drove 30+ minutes to this location as it’s one of the only stores open now. Arrived 50 minutes before they close but they still wouldn’t let us in to purchase a new computer. Only allowing people in to purchase small items(cases, pencils, etc). Absolutely ridiculous! If you have posted business hours for a certain time, you should be able to purchase any of their products up until they close. Not happy with the response or how we were treated. Will definitely not be back to this location.

I was at this Apple store to change my battery. That was a very good experience, I was well received. They accepted the replacement without any problems.One and half hour later, unfortunately they weren’t able to change the battery so they replaced the IPhone without additional fees. I was very satisfied.But, on the new phone, there is a cosmetic defect on the glass. I returned the next day to change the iPhone (the phone didn’t had 24h) or for a repair. They didn’t accepted the repair because cosmetic defect are not in their policy....I’m very disappointed. I didn’t want to change a battery issue for a screen issue.

They started to panic and were yelling at customers and being very rude. Not a single apologies. If the apply network goes down than the store and its employees should be responsible for representing the brand. As a customer you shouldnt get yelled at when you have nothing got to do with performance of the store. The only workers that were nice were the ones that were covering from the Downtown store. This is really a review on Apple Corporate failing to have a back up plan for the huge overflow of customers that now MUST go to a much smaller store for ALL services. I feel this is really a poor response to the current retail climate.These are the problems as I see them:Unable to book appointments with the Genius Bar to get my MacBook Pro’s β€˜manufacturing defective’ parts replaced. They are also booked solid on line through the support application-I called the store and they said that Apple releases appointments every morning that are cancelations. So, I will get online and try to book an appointment every morning until I can get in. The store employees are really nice- but they can’t book me into the Genius Bar either, because they are booked out so far in advance, that they honestly (and LITERALLY) don’t know how far out they are booked. I could just come out to the store... but they said that doesn’t always work, especially as they are so busy right now.I am not sure, now that Christmas is upon us, when I will be able to get in.(The knowledgeable and super nice employees at the Washington Square store I spoke with are great- I worked with Hakon and Judy on my last call.)The pandemic is getting much worse and I think we are nearing a total shutdown again. So, back to the original problem that started this other problem was me buying a brand new MacBook Air and then NOT getting the instant credit I was promised because of this defect. I didn’t know this was a β€˜factory defect’ until I wasn’t getting my $450.00 instant credit trade in. So, I did some research on why my trade was not accepted as promised when I bought the new MacBook Air. This is how I found out about the manufacturing keyboard defect and Apple’s unprecedented promise to fix every computer that fell within the established time parameters. So, because I had no choice, Apple hit me with a reversal of that β€˜instant credit’... which is what made the instant credit reversal a REGULAR CHARGE AND THEREFORE NOT ELIGIBLE TO BE PART IF THE β€˜6 months same as cash’ charge that the rest of the transaction is under.I now have to wait for the old (and manufacturing defective) MacBook Pro to come back to me. AND now not being able to get an appointment due to the volume of business they are having to deal with, because the HUGE DOWNTOWN STORE IS SHUTTERED has made a bad situation even worse.All I can say is that I do not feel that any part of these remedies are good enough when all of us are putting out substantial amounts of money every few years on Apple products. It makes me think that Apple Corporate needs to help their remaining OPEN STORES MORE than they are. Because I don’t think anyone who is dishing out the kind of money we are, as consumers of this product, need to be faced with these realities that Apple has created in response to the pandemic.Apple, your products and customer service is AWESOME....almost always.(IT SHOULD GO WITHOUT SAYING THAT THIS IS NOT INCLUDING YOUR TYPE OF RESPONSE TO THIS PANDEMIC, however.)I do appreciate you stepping up to the plate to take responsibility for this keyboard defect.But your lack of response to the pain (financial AND physical for me, after the thought of standing in line for hours because I am disabled) leaves me questioning if we, as consumers, are making the right choices when it comes to this company. I mean, I love Apple, so even though I don’t approve of how you are handling your response to this pandemic, I am willing to put up with your approach to this pandemic and civil unrest (which is why the big downtown store is shuttered). But, I have to ask myself why I am willing to put up with this kind of treatment. I think there is most likely something wrong with me and my decision to stick with you- even though you are treating me the way you do. ( It’s kind of like a bad country western song...)Thanks for all who read this. I know it was long, but I truly appreciate your time.

Excellent service, beautiful store, friendly and helpful people! I can’t think of a better place to buy, learn about, or repair your Apple products! As with all places in a mall (especially popular ones like an Apple store), definitely avoid it on the weekends.
