One of my all time favorite game stops always find a good game here

Knowledgeable and friendly staff.One stop video game shop.This store is the place to go for all things video games. New releases and older generation titles are available as new or lower priced used. They also have a charming selection of video game peripherals and novelties. If you find yourself in their store it may be quickest to simply ask the staff if they have the titles youre looking for new/used as the pandemic has reorganized their display wall with display boxes and their stock behind the counter, generally speaking.Theyre still accepting trade ins, which is one of the primary reasons to visit the store as opposed to shopping on their website. You can put the trade value on a gift card and use the balance on their website if the store doesnt have the title youre looking for. Or accumulate a trade balance and save for a bigger purchase like a new or used system. Theyre a well oiled machine and will stay so as long as games are sold in physical form.One thing to watch out for is buying new games or accessories... they may have the box open and may reject a return if you have a change of heart. As new games can only be returned unopened.

There was a brand new GA at the register and he did great.

I don’t normally shop at GameStop but I went in to trade in games a couple weeks back as I was having trouble selling online myself. The store person offered me a pro membership as you get 5 dollars a month free in certificates for a 15 dollar membership. I went in today to use said 2nd certificate, the same lady who used my first 5 dollar certificate last month (my first as a member) (also when I signed up).Monica said I used it last time. So I left and called the 1800 number. Guy on the CS number said it looks like they gave you a in store discount cause they couldn’t get the certificate to work last time you were in store.. If I knew I was gonna get lied to about when I used my certificates or when the store associates manual discount “and count it as a used certificate.” Or the fact I had to call a 1-800 number for some free 5 dollars a month that never works anyway. SKIP THE PRO membership as you will also spend time on the phone just for 5 dollars certificate. Oh yeah I also recall Monica saying I could use the same certificate as she manually discounted-and couldn’t get it to work . Don’t shop here store associates lie.

Place was well stocked and people knew what they where doing. Only one issue and that was they only had 2 staff members on site and the place had quite a few people hope they get some more staff ^^

Its funny how a buisiness that solely deals in gaming never has any games. Tony hawk 1-2 was out of stock on release day. Even ghost of tsushima is not in stock a month later. Your better off going to Target or even amazon at this point. I will throw a party when this lazy buisiness burns to the ground an youll all be invited

The staff he is very helpful. The store is well stocked and always running specials on a broad list of games. If they dont have it they can get it. You can join pro team to get even better pricing on trades and games and equipment. All in all they make the experience easy.

I made one of the greatest finds of my career in this particular GameStop. The selection comes and goes, as it does with every single game stop. For a mall store, the people who work here are really nice. Even though I hate malls, I dont hate coming here.

Get the membership, and trade when bored. Its perfect for the husband and the 12 year old son! Though right now really needs more inventory.

Good people. The store layout is terrible. The displays take up much needed walking space and the isles or sections are very small and way too tight. No matter what you do, you are guaranteed to bump into something. Its a store that you cant spend much time in without feeling antsy and annoyed by your surroundings.

Such an underrated store. The staff is always nice and the manager is great. People always complain about trade ins with GameStop’s? I’ve always gotten very fair trade ins and in fact have even made money on trade ins when they do their “extra 50% trade credit” deals.

Im confused as to why they push to sell the warranties. Then if you need it they dont keep the record in your customer profile. That is odd . If I wanted to continue to sell something I would take better care of the people who actually buy them.

Great store with great employees, always willing to go above and beyond for outstanding customer service and actually care about their clientele, Ive had several times where they knew Id want something before I did based on my purchases and conversations with them. Im always willing to spend a little extra when treated so well.

Wasn’t impressed with their customer service, I walked in and wasn’t greeted when their wasn’t a busy rush and even looking around there were a few employees not doing anything that could have asked me if I was finding everything alright and didn’t. Pretty sure I’m not coming back.

He also gave me some advice on how to drop the price by suggesting to bring in controllers for some store. I had some laying around so I cleaned them up a little and brought it in. End of story, I got 6 Modern Horizons packs for free and on top that got a Wrenn and Six ($89.95 card). Really like this Gamestop location. They always pull my stuff and have it ready when I order online. Friendly and knowledgeable, clean and well organized store.

I get all my stuff here. I mostly stop by here to get xbox gift cards for friends or family. But the games are nice, I can get used for q better price too. and I can get consoles.

Never going here agin. Took them an hour to test my console when I was selling it. MADE me sign in to my Xbox account - Username & password in front of a store full of people. I value my privacy, this store obviously doesn’t. THEN, waits for a game to install from disc to test it? C’mon really?! They’ll waste your time here, beware

They always do me right at the Game Stop. Gotta get rid of some phones? They buy em with the quickness jus make sure you got a clean imei!!

There are GameStops out there with excellent and friendly customer service. And then there are the ones that make you think GameStop must have a corporate policy about hiring at least one internet troll to work in every store. Ill let you guess which one this is, and recommend you go to any other GameStop unless youre desperate.

Apparently unless youre in the store, they cant be bothered with helping you.I needed help with tech support for my PS3, kept getting interrupted and put on hold, then told that he just cant help me, its too busy.Way to run business guys! Lost a loyal customer today.

Great customer service! I bought a refurbished ipod and it ended up having an unusual problem that wasnt immediately noticeable. Even though it had been a little while since I made the purchase and I didnt purchase the extended warranty, they were willing to exchange it for me. And they were really nice about it. That is good customer service- thank you GameStop! I will be a customer for life!

More like a Well they have the game and its used so I will buy it type of place. Never really been that impressed. But they have nice clerks that put up with teens, so thats a plus.

Pretty much all GameStops are arranged the same and have the same layout of new and used games.This is a fairly busy mall location and the inventory turns over a bit faster which can be good.

This is my go to GameStop. I have been here countless times and I am always impressed with the staff and selection of games. People who say the trade in values are bad well...its GameStop. I mean what do you expect? I always turn in my games that I dont play and I am satisfied with the value. Getting 100 dollars plus trade ins every time I go really is a plus in my book.

I love this location cuz of the staff and the products they hold. I would give it a 5 star but a lot of collectables they have havent really caught my attention and thats not including pop figures. They have great pops! And as for older games, they dont have much to offer (but thats only cuz I already have most of them or the ones they have I have no interest.) But other than that really, I love coming here to shop and try to get at least one game.

As I mentioned in the review for the OTHER GameStop at Washington Square, this is actually the second of two GameStops in this mall. So be attentive if you are looking for a particular one. I believe GameStop bought this one from EB Games and kept both open. I like this location more than the other WaSq location because it feels larger, more spacious, and less cramped when its busy. Ive been very impressed by the staff and their knowledge of obscure games. The staff has always been very polite and helpful. Would recommend.

Got 5 Wii games and 2 starring wheels. Staff was helpful and efficient and cut me a better deal then what I thought I would get.

Trade-in Value isnt worth anything anymore even if the games or consoles sell for 10 times the amount they offer. Id give 1 star for it but the employees were actually very nice.

Went into the store the other day to purchase Sonic Mania Plus, boy was I in for a treat. I approached the counter, was greeted by a bloke with a long beard and let him know that I wanted a PS4 copy of Sonic Mania Plus. He proceeded to look in the computer and confirmed that they had it, turned around to go grab it so I proceeded to continue speaking with the person next to me.After about a minute I felt that this was taking an awful long time to locate a single game and noticed that he was pulling a disc out of a sleeve and placing it into an open copy of the game. I said to him, Dude....is that open? I want a new copy. He responded with This is a new copy. His coworkers behind the register looked around uncomfortably, as to which the clerk then said This is our display copy. I told the odd bearded wizard No thank you left the store and proceeded to buy my copy of Sonic Mania Plus down the street from Target.I never asked for a used copy of said game, the clerk did not let me know that they only had a display copy left, and I am pretty sure that if I hadnt paid attention this bearded baby was going to sell this new game to me at retail. Very bizarre practices at this Gamestop, dishonesty and shadiness.Shout out to the Hall Blvd Target for selling me the game NEW in its shrink wrap without anyones grubby fingerprints over the disc.

The second I walked in the store some dude started talking to me about pro rewards with his tablet device thing. I told him I had a rewards account then he started hounding me about trading in games that I dont even have with me or own at all anymore. Then he was basically telling me that he was gonna force me to pre-order a game and i was like no dude.If youre reading this review guy, tone it down. I get that youre supposed to do that stuff but if i did it like that at my job Id get fired.

The online system said this store had the game I wanted. The system was wrong. Using the in-store system, the clerk said the other store in the mall has it. That was wrong, too. I went back to the online system to order it, got the shipment today, and they sent the wrong game. Two different systems were wrong about having the game I wanted in stock. On top of this mess, while we were at the store, we got games for another gaming system and when we got home, theyd forgotten to put one of the games in its case. Even in the store they couldnt do an entire purchase right. I caution anyone thinking about going to this company for gaming materials.

Terrible service. One guy working an overcrowded store, took me a twenty minute wait in line and I was only three people back from the register.Not only that, the employee was actually harassing me the entire time about my lack of a GameStop card or whatever nonsense that is. I was merely there to buy a single game which I had found easily and without help. Having to sit at the register for three minutes listening to some guy with grossly long sideburns telling me that I guess you dont enjoy free stuff, (literal quote from the man) even after I told him I wasnt interested is both rude, obnoxious, and a great way to make sure I never shop there again. Its almost as if he didnt want to make the sale.I hope GameStop actually reads this, because if I ever feel that pressured by a store employee at any GS location again I will be taking my business to Best Buy or somewhere else where six year old games arent 30 bucks.

Got ripped off on my Fallout 4 G.O.T.Y. game. I was lied to by an employee there who said that it came with the dlc but it did not and I ended up paying extra to download it separately.

Bad trade in values, high priced used games, and crappy service. People who rate gamestop 5 stars are suckers who simply dont know better. I asked them to put a game on hold and when i rode the bus 2 towns over to get that hard to find game they sold it to someone else! Another instance, another store did the same thing! This store only carries modern games and throws away anything they deem old. Honestly, you can find new copies online cheaper than gamestops used copies. Thumbs down for gamestop! I highly recommend game trader in beaverton....

They lied about the price of a game to me and I tried to sell 1 unused game and 2 used games and they tried to give it to me for 78 cents so gamestop tried to scam me like what the heck.

Its a typical GameStop. They screw you on trade ins as every other store does, but the people at this store are all really nice and I havent had a bad experience with the people here.

Has the items you need, but is a tad bit on the expensive side.
