They were closing but still let me in at the last second for a print job because my printer ran out of ink! Great customer service.

Doors were open there were no lines it were plenty of people to assist you in finding whatever product you needed the cashiers were extremely helpful and friendly great place to go for electronics or office supplies

So I just wanted to let the Google world know that Jessie at this Office Depot (Tacoma) is indeed THAT GUY! If you value good customer service this young man is A1 for sure! He went over and beyond to help me with a project Ive been working on for weeks. Even when it seemed impossible to me he did the math, reformatted the pdf and all my headaches were gone! Lol I really appreciate the hard work he put in to ensure I left a happy customer! Great Job Office Depot for bringing him on board! We need more like him!

I searched for months for a new desk. I bought from Staples and returned the item then ordered from Wayfair. I still was not happy with my purchases. I arrived at my local Office Depot which had been open the entire time. At Office Depot I was greeted with nothing but kindness and understanding. I ordered a desk and hutch that ended up being too large for the space at home. The return was easy and very stress free. When I was provided the incorrect part for the managers desk I ended up purchasing my local Office Depot went above and beyond expected customer service. Not only was I provided a replacement part but I walked out of the store with the exact items I needed. No additional cost and no additional stress. Office Depot will always be my go-to from now on for any office supplies or other miscellaneous items I may need.

Office Depot has a wide selection of office supplies went in there looking for academic planners in calendars and so many variations of that found exactly what I wanted and also found a calendar and ended up buying three different calendars to match with what I needed the people are so helpful and so willing to go out of their way to help you. All were busy stocking shelves and moving things around there must have been a good 10 people working there on Easter morning all seemed happy and jovial and I was quite surprised to see them open but they were all willing to help I had five different people asked if they could help as they pass by I found what I wanted and there was someone up in the front who took care of me and sent me on my way great store and great employees.

I had the best customer service today in the Tacoma location. Katrina in print services really went out of her way to help me with my wedding invitations. She was very friendly and knowledgeable! She completed my order very quickly.I will never go anywhere else for my printing. 😊

I am a paralegal, responsible for office supplies at my firm. When you choose Office Depot for your supply needs, make absolutely certain that you are going to be picking them up from the store. The employees are helpful and courteous. However, they have a contract with a third party shipper, TForce. The shipper has delayed, lied, lost shipments, etc 16 times in 12 months. Almost every issue is as the result of one delivery driver. A driver that I have personally requested be removed from the route at least 10 times. That has not happened. DO NOT TRUST DELIVERY.Update 5-20-2020Called to verify that our account had been shifted to UPS for delivery, rather then waste one more second with the mockery of a business that is TForce. The customer service hold is beyond an hour, the store level manager had no knowledge of how to look up the answer to a simple question, (or possibly willingness?) I have adjusted our rating from 5 stars for store level, and 1 star for delivery which averaged 3 stars, to 1 star. Please, do not waste your time with this company.

I dont know his name, but the employee who helped me print copies of my Lost Cat posters paid for them as well. I was so shocked that I left without getting his name, but I was in tears by the time I reached the parking lot. I was already stressed about the unexpected cost of the copies, and heartbroken about my missing cat. To whoever you are, your kindness during this difficult time means the world to me. I went in for some printer ink and a few other things, everything as very hard to find and I didnt find everything I needed. The employees didnt seem to have that good of customer service and I dont like the atmosphere. I spent most of my time confused trying to look for the things I needed. I dont plan on going again.

I went in to the Office Depot on 23rd st looking for a computer. Kevin Barber helped me and was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and patient.... answered all my questions and wasnt pushy at all. Hes a real asset to his company. Thanks so much Kevin! :)

I was not able to navigate easily on this website for curbside pickup. Also difficult to find the prices. Not happy with the amount charged when having to actually go into the store.

I went into this location to pick up an order from the printing desk. Upon walking in, no one greeted me! When I walked to the printing desk, the young man was sitting at an computer, then the phone rang, he did not even acknowledge my presence, just simply went answer the phone. I timed how long i stood there..it was for 2 1/2 minutes as he talked on the phone with a customer. (still not acknowledging my presence) One of the rules of customer service (especially in retail) is that the customer in front of you is MORE IMPORTANT! The customer in front of you got out of their home and drove to your store. They should ALWAYS come first! That was just the first issue. When he was finally done off the phone, he ask me what he could help me with, I told him I was there to pick up an order. He handed me my order, then sat back down at the computer and proceeded to reach out to someone on his headset asking who was going to relieve him for his 15 mins. Every single time I have gone into Office Depot, I have been treated so kindly. The employees has always been extra helpful. This young man just placed my order on the counter and sat back down. He didnt open it for me, or wait until I opened it to make sure everything was okay and there were no issues with my order. I was very satisfied with the way my order came out, but the customer service was horrible. Even as I walked out, NO ONE said anything to me! I felt like I was just not wanted in the building. Which was very disappointing, because I always get such good service here. I dont know what the young mans name was, but he was working at the printing desk on Saturday afternoon. I really hope management addresses this issue.

Great Store, Staff very helpful and goes out of their way to help me find what I need, even if it is at another store. I can negotiate a better price on things I need often. Price matching is another great feature and I use it quite often .

The selection of office furniture is fairly comprehensive, while maybe a touch on the spendier side. The office supplies are well varied and have met all my needs thus far. The place is well staffed most times and I have not had troubles getting help when needed.

Me and 2 of my girlfriend came in to get some cards made. There were 2 men in the copy department and both helped us out a lot. So nice and clean with us. Ill always go back and Ill keep bringing my friends and workers to this store and only this one. There the best. Thanks boys for every thing.

I came in this morning for a print job and the person who is supposed to work print wasnt due in for an hour. Ms Shiloh came over and help me even though its not her department and helped out big time. I want to give the staff here a big thank you for your help.

Where do I even start? I paid nearly $100 up front for 2 foam board posters. Marketing materials for business nearby. I was told they would be ready the next afternoon. I arrived at 4 and was presented with crap, bubbled lamination and not cut to size as I requested. The employee said that the project was done last night and that I should have gotten a call this morning, which I never received. By done she meant the crap I was presented with.What I thought would be a quick pickup turned into an hour of time Ill regrettably never get back.When I inquired about them not being cut to the requested size, the employee told me that that information was not on the project details she was given. I asked for the form back and showed her exactly where it was filled out cut to bleed no white, exactly where those details were meant to be specified. She had nothing to say about it except to blame the employee who had filled the form out the day prior.I sat for an hour straight, rearranged my entire schedule and calmed the business owner who was expecting delivery of the project materials.One of the posters came out wrinkled, folded in on itself mounted to the foam board. I sat even longer while other customers were being helped and waited for the work to finally be done correctly.I was only refunded for 1 of the posters, which is outrageous considering the fact that they originally thought that I would be ok with their original work, bubbled lamination and uncut dimensions.My business will not be trusting this chain as long as I can help it and will be seeking out a local shop to take care of our office supply and printing needs from now on. This experience was a huge waste of time, money, and dignity, considering that I gave a client my word and staked that time frame on what was originally communicated to me by this Office Depot.I cant stake my reputation to my clients on shaky time frames and shoddy work.

I emailed a print order in yesterday April 4, 2019 at 3pm. I went to pick it up after 7:30 PM and again I was told by a clerk that they didnt have anything that I sent. The clerk checked again and found my email but said it was found in a job complete file but of course it wasnt done! This is the 3rd time Ive been here and the same situation comes up! Either they say they didnt get my email or they just blatantly just didnt do it. I was given a discount for the first blunder, nothing for the second, probably nothing for this blunder but an Oh...Im sorry, I dont know what happened!This is ridiculous, why do I keep coming to this place? Maybe because its right across from where I live and convenient...Ill have to forget about the convenience and take my patience somewhere else because its gone for the Union St Office Depot location!

I have not had a positive experience here. Out of the 2 stores in tacoma I wish this one had closed & not the one near the mall. The 1st experience I had they never contated me to let me know my order was ready for pick up nor was it 100% complete & the service people were standing around talking when I came in to pick it up. The next time I had a similar experience except they printed the order on the wrong type of paper & didnt contact me again to let me know my order was ready for pick up.
