This is honestly the best dealership I’ve ever been too!! The staff are very welcoming, respectful and want you to leave happy! My first encounter was with Taft Bell from Sales. Where do I start with Taft! He was so attentive, considerate, patient, friend and realistic! He sold me the Atlas SE 2021 and it was the best decision I could’ve made with his expert advise. Next was Jaime Jenkins one of the managers in service. Ms. Jenkins wears many hats! She always goes above and beyond to ensure all clients’ needs are met. Ms. Jenkins provides me a clean quiet space to work while with I wait to be serviced whenever I’m there. Overall, the whole team at Prestige VW is amazing. From the sales team, managers, to service, they are all great! I do not live in Connecticut, but will gladly always take the trip out there because I know I’m guaranteed the best customer service! If you’re looking for a dealership to buy the best cars, Prestige VW is the place to go!

Since I’ve bought my car at this location there has been nothing but issues. They never serviced the car that was “certified pre used”. Even though I mentioned numerous times there was an oil warning on the car. They assured me it just needed to be cleared from the cars computer and that it was fine. Stupidly I believed them and I was driving for 3 weeks when they called saying they needed the car back because it had in fact sat in their lot ever since the previous owner returned it. Never serviced, never looked at, but assured my it was fine. Any services appointment since has been nothing short of a headache to get an appointment and to deal with the staff. Today they had my car for 4 hours to replace a clock spring and pair a new spare key. They called saying it was ready. I asked “are both keys paired to the car” knowing they’re history on poor work. Again, assured me all is ready to go. Get here and the new key is not paired at all to the car. Apparently no one thought to test the keys to make sure first. So simple to click lock on the key fob and here a beep but couldn’t be bothered. I realized immediately and am now waiting for them to finish the job I was told was already done. Always check everything g before leaving. Then go to Danbury going forward.

I leased my 2021 Atlas from Taft at Prestige who was amazing! Trying to lease a vehicle right now with the vehicle shortage can be a real challenge. Thankfully I went to Prestige and worked with Taft who took the time to go through inventory options to try to find me exactly what I wanted, despite the shortage. He was able to get me into the perfect SUV!

The performed the service.The issue is that they parked my car under a tree for a few days where bird poop accumulated.I would have expected that they at least run the car through a car wash, after considering how much a customer spent.I am just saying, if I as a customer has to drop a few grand on service this summer and BTW neither time VW did a quick clean, it would make a bunch of painful expenses less painful, when I receive the car clean.

I just bought a preowned certified 2018 Atlas from Prestige Volkswagen of Stamford. I got a great deal! The staff was professional and straight forward throughout the whole process. The sales manager got me the best price on the car as well as the best rate on the loan. He even called me several days later to let me know that he secured a lower interest rate! Clean and friendly dealership, just wish they would’ve payed attention to me or my car when I cam to sign and pick it up. The dealership didn’t put gas in the car before I picked it up so as I’m leaving they put gas in, but didn’t fill it instead I got 3/4 of a tank. The dealership didn’t give me an insurance card for my new car, so I drove 75 minutes home and then for 3 days until I realized there was no card! What would’ve happened if I had been pulled over? The dealership wouldn’t have paid the fine or ticket, I would’ve been in my own for their error. Truly a disappointment!

Worst dealership ever. Wanted to charge for the 10,000 maintenance servicing cause I brought in my car couple months late due to COVID situations when the entire world had to change their hours and services. When I tried to talk the workers kept on getting loud and talking over me. The entire experience was very uncomfortable and unnecessarily rude. The workers are unnecessarily rude and have to have their ways. The workers went the extra mile and threatened me with daily storage fees if I don’t pay and pick up the car the same day. Avoid this shady place at all cost. All you have to do is be nice to customers and if it’s not in the policy just explain that don’t be unnecessarily rude to consumers who keep the business going. Lost a customer.

Ruined my ceramic coating, scratched my car up, and took OVER a month of chasing them in order to get it fixed. I asked to opt out of the courtesy car wash more than 3 times, it was even on my invoice. Leading to my freshly coated car that I have not washed since it got ceramic coated (May 25th) being damaged. Experience was completely UNPROFESSIONAL and so unorganized from start to end.

Will was such an attentive and honest sales person, Aamir did everything he could to make sure we got a fair deal, and Adam was so pleasant during the signing process. Was happy to know a VW dealer was close by to service my two Volkswagens after moving from NYC to Stamford in summer 2020.I will be going out of my way to not return to Prestige for service anymore.Dropped my car (9 months old, 17,000mi) for service due to faulty oil temp sensor. Expected the issue to be covered under warranty. Issue is well documented online with many cases.Disappointment began with refusal of warranty coverage and instead a full charge for parts and labor. Service rep Rishi was friendly and as helpful as he could be in providing photos for me to submit my claim to VWofNA.Service rep Mike was arrogant, condescending, and rude. Continued to talk over me while I was dropping the car off (second time, mind you, as part was not in stock) and dismiss my position.To put the final nail in the coffin, my car had Prestige license plate frames installed when I picked the car up from completed service today. At no point was I asked about this nor did I authorize it.Cant help but feel that Prestige was purposefully trying to further upset this informed, educated, and enthusiast customer.My present and future Volkswagen business will be going elsewhere.

I test drove the Golf R with William Aquino and was SOLD! Prestige did not have the color I wanted in inventory but were very efficient in finding what I wanted at another dealer. Within 10 days of my test drive I left the dealership with my new car! Great experience!

The worst service ever. The man who worked on my car misrepresented what I would pay for, and the rates they charge are ridiculous. Not to mention the people who retrieve your car are extremely rude. The man got the wrong car and got mad at me because I politely told him it wasn’t my car. I had to pay 134 dollars to be told how much something would cost to do, even though I already communicated what the problem was before their “diagnostic.” Overpriced, rude and sneaky. And once I got my car back I had a new warning light on. Or I didn’t notice it and they never mentioned it. Which wouldn’t surprise me. I thought I had been to worse mechanics but this dealership is somewhere I hope I never have to go to again. Avoid going here if possible.

Nothing but positivity!!I had a checkered past with VW, last one I owned (00 gti vr6) gave me headaches, but nothing compared to VW dealerships, including this one. 10+ years later, I decided to try them again, and so far Im all smiles :)First off Garrett and Ana were super accommodating when it came to me testing the different gtis (I was torn between a new and used one) they both answered all of my many questions I had, and learned a lot about both cars (absolutely love my 13 gti!!)Second: my first service was a little difficult to schedule, since I required to leave the car with them for an extended period of time, Id need to get a loaner scheduled. Once dropped off, the process to get the loaner was quick, and well informed. While my car was being (Warrenty) worked on, the service dept kept me up to date with my cars status as the work was being performed. Loaner car was a hoot to drive around, and in my mind I didnt skip a beat with my daily utility (and fun) of having a vehicle.When I got my car back, I noticed right away that my car felt just as it should have, even better than when I purchased it from them; they even washed it for me!!Third; the follow up communication with prestige has been excellent. If I ever have a question they answer right away, or I get a prompt call back with an answer.To sum it up, I missed the fun of owning a sporty vw, while still being great for utility at an affordable price. Not only did Garrett, Ana, and the team at Prestige find the perfect car for what I needed and wanted, but the following relationship with this dealership had been an absolute positive one.

Id been searching for a Golf R everywhere from New Jersey, where I live, all the way down to Maryland. When I did find inventory available the representative Id email with made me feel like they didnt want to be bothered by my questions. When I got in contact with Joe my experience was the exact opposite. Even though we were working via email, he was courteous, quick to respond, and didnt make me feel like I was wasting his time. On top of all that, he was able to give me a deal that I couldnt get from any of the other dealers Id spoken to in 4 other states! When I finally decided to purchase the car he was able to get everything set up in a matter of hours. At the dealership the great customer service continued. My car was up front and ready to go. Even with the extra precautions the dealership was taking to make sure that we were all keeping distance and staying safe, I was in and out in about an hour. Great customer service, respectful of customers, and on top of all that an amazing deal! Im glad I got the chance to work with Joe and the team at Prestige VW!

Worst experience ever! I went the to buy the Atlas Se with tech. I met with Todd who seem to be a friendly salesman. He told me there was a r-line with low mileage (23000) available. I said ok and took the truck for a test drive. During the test drive there was a very bad strong odor coming out of the vents. Returning back from the test ride the front end was smoking. Amir said its probably the water pump and will fix it. I left. Todd call me a few minutes later and said they had a recall on the catalyst converter and the smell was from the protective coating. I said ok. The next day I put $500 down to hold the truck and additional $2615 a day after. Do to a snow storm I was not able to pick up the truck until a week later. Upon arrival with $28000 to pick the truck up. I took the truck for a test drive. To my disappointment the truck was still in the same condition smelling and smoking. Nothing was done. Amir said that they would fix it and put a new catalyst converter. Which was supposed to have been replaced already. Hmmmm!! But I went through with the deal. Note this is suppose to be a certified vehicle. Now a week later Todd called me and said the truck was ready ones again. I show up once to get the truck. I take the truck for another test drive. All they did was detail and freshen up the truck. The catalyst converter was not replaced. They just put a bandaid on the problem. On top of that the odometer now had 27900. To my amazement they put 4000 mileage on the truck. When I spoke to Amir he claim he made a mistake and wrote the mileage wrong when they advised the truck. Not to mention theres a big price difference in a car that have 23000 miles and one that have 27900. They sold me the truck with 23000 miles. I saw with my own eyes. I still wanted the truck. They offered me $300 back. Which was ridiculous. Then agreed on running boards. During the walk through I noticed the rear right door and corner panel had been side swipe and they tried to cover it up with touchup paint. They didnt even have the decency to tell me. They would have let me drove off with the truck like they. Thank god I did a walk around. I had enough...That was the deal breaker! The deal was off. Amir told me I would get my money back the next day. I call he and he said he will call me Monday about my money and he has to wait till the owner gets off his couch to pay me. I said ok Amir and he never call me back. I am still waiting on my money dont trust anyone there. I was told what they did to me was illegal. This was again the worst experience I ever had. Being a first time car buyer scar me for forever. I can never trust car dealers again and the sad thing I really wanted this car always want a vw and look what happened 😭😭😭😭😞

I bought a car from here in September of 2020 and it has been a mystery box of nasty surprises since. Buying the car was a very quick and easy process, it was a certified pre-owned 2017 Jetta. I took it back to NY and attempted to get in inspected the following was found, Damage to both rocker panels due to an improper life, one CV boot was ripped and flinging grease everywhere, and the brakes were below minimum thickness for a CPO VW and the AC only blew hot air. While the service center did fix these issues for free they should have never been there in the first place. The tint was darker than legally allowed and I had to pay to have it removed. A plastic/chrome trim piece on the trunk fell off ripping away paint from where it had been glued on, Ive never seen a repair fail that way before. The plastic pop fasteners that hold the Driver side B pillar exterior cover in place are simply not there and the cover is held on by the doors being shut. Most recently I noted a bubble forming on one of the cheap no-name tires they put on it and again have to pay to replace it after less that 3000 miles of ownership.If you are in the market for a NEW VW this is a fine place to go, the sales team is nice. BUT if you want a CPO VW do not trust anything they say about the car, if you do buy it take a couple of HOURS and check literally everything for hidden or undisclosed damage because they most certainly will not.

Starting with the prompt and complete reply to my initial information inquiry, by Joseph Rodriguez, who further fully organized and coordinated my whole car buying process, to be easy and efficient despite any issue arose. Finishing with great support and communication by William and Jasmine when completing the whole paperwork and taking car home. Even more to add, the post-sale prompt responsiveness by Joe, leaving no single question unanswered. That team-spirit, competent staff and well organized customer service deserves appreciation. Ive been to MINI, BMW, AUDI and TESLA. None of the salesman treated me with the kind of respect, honesty, kindness that Joe did. He was patient and never make me feel rushed or that *he* needed to make the sale happen.I am a self-admitted pain in the a** when it comes to buying and leasing cars. Got me a good deal on a previous-year GTI.The issues came down to not listening to the customers requests:Asked them to not drill into the front bumper for the license plate frame (I was purchasing a tow-hook mount), apparently the owner made them drill into the bumper. I told them to fix it or I would not take delivery of the vehicle. They got their bodyshop to fix it.The fix lasted about 8 months until it started to chip where the guy painted it and the filler he used was not correct and started to sink in, showing about 6 holes in the bumper. I contacted them in April of this year to get this resolved...as of today they are still waiting on the paint according to Jamie. LOL Weird how it takes 8 months to get paint, but the body shop I just sent the car to was able to get it no problem.Also, when I picked the car up after the bumper was fixed, I had a nice ding on the door handle. I called and left a message about it with the dealership but no one responded.Buy a car here but get it serviced elsewhere, would not trust the workmanship post-sale of this dealership.

Be careful if you choose to bring your vehicle here for service if you want honest quality work. I brought my 2013 Passat TDI SEL in for service, basic oil and filter, fluids and tire rotation. At almost $400 I expected top notch service. Not even close! had to ask them if they filled the Add Blu fluid as it was not on my service report. Oops, we missed that, let me take it back in and fill that for you, are you kidding me. What else was missed!

I definitely dont recommend them for service. I had a faulty battery and my car had to be towed. They estimated it would take 3 days to change out the battery but ultimately it only took 2 days. They told me next time I should make an appointment. Who makes an appointment for their 1 year old car to break down!!They notified me that the car was ready for pick up but when I got to the dealer they said, oh its not ready yet. I had to wait another hour.While I was there another customer came in and said he had an appointment for service, they told him there was a mistake and his appointment for service was a week later. When the guy got angry saying he was sure they told him today and he was going to take his business elsewhere, the guy just chuckled and said hey, good luck with that as the customer walked out the door.

Worst dealership experience i have ever had. my husband and i took our car for the first time last May there for repairs. the quote was over $5,000. after we paid and picked up the car the engine light came on, brought it back a few days later, they found another problem, picked up the car again and a few days later the battery died, took it back again and paid more money. Eddie the mechanic along with Megan had assured us that all these repairs should make the car last a least a few YEARS. well it didnt last more than 6 months, since the car died again in the middle of the highway. they refused to cover the cost of the tow. brought the car there in May of this year, even though it didnt turn on since MARCH but they were closed due to covid according to Megan. i emailed them in June, July, august of this year and all they had to say was that we hadnt given the proper maintenance to the car and the we needed a new ENGINE. mind you so far we have replaced timing chain belt, vacuum pump leak, driver side axle boot, a new turbo system, new battery, oil change, carbon cleaning, water pump, brake fluid exchange, and more.my husband and i tried reaching Phil who is being completely unresponsive and unprofessional along with the rest of the team. lack of professionalism and honesty. i even went to the BBB, attorney general and the Volkswagen HEADQUARTERS and Prestige Volkswagen still refused to assist me with EVEN TELLING ME why my car needs a new engine after spending 7,000 dollars in the past year and have only driven my car between that period for only around 2,000 miles instead they wanted to charge me over $800 to diagnose it!!!!! i have every single phone call attempt, email, pictures etc. this dealership needs to take responsibility and stop giving the turn around to people who are giving them business.not only i wont be going back there but also wouldnt purchase another volkswagen vehicle. and most importantly when my sister went to get my car a few days ago two reps werent wearing a mask!

Came to this place because they had the car I’ve always wanted at a great price. I called Victoria over the phone prior to me driving 45 minutes away so she can hold the car for me. She introduced me to almost everyone who works there so that when I return for any reason, I will be comfortable talking to anyone there. A very high-end experience at this dealership, at what I consider a mid-level price point for a car. Cannot say enough good things about this dealership or this salesperson.

Victoria the saleswoman was great!HOWEVER:Awful purchasing experience after the deal was made.Charged 299.00 for non existent (nor did I ask for it) window VIN etching, and took 5 weeks to get reimbursed. Royal Guard or the line item- VPNHad to wait for them to mail me a second key, get it programmed at a local dealer, and wait for reimbursement for that fee.Lastly, my lender says they never received the title from the dealer!

Management was very stand-offish. I had to chase them via phone/email for several months for a refund I was owed. In a separate issue, they lied to me and said that an increased price for a lease was based on a tax issue whereas it was really them not knowing what price was agreed on when I last came in. I called them out on it and the price was ultimately lowered. Would not do business here again.

Brought my car in for the 60,000 mile check up, and everything in my car seemed to be running fine. The service center called me and said I needed a new Axle which would be $1,600 plus the cost of the check up which was over $400. Luckily I knew that I had a warranty, which I brought up to the service representative. He said that he hadnt looked into that, and would get back to me. Im curious if he would have ever looked into it or most likely just taken my $1600. Oh well just mechanics being mechanics, luckily my car was covered and I only had to pay the $400, or so I thought...One week later I get pulled over on route 7 and the officer says your headlight is out. Alright headlights go out, not uncommon. I go back to Prestige, and the bulb is $21 and the service was $69.00. So I decided to replace the bulb myself. When I asked the man who I bought the bulb from for some advice on how to change the bulb he said I really have no idea and walked away. I figured after giving them over $2,000 that they could at least point me in the right direction. Oh well changed the headlight myself, but starting to get slightly annoyed.Another two weeks go by, and I am getting into my car to go to work and the battery is completely dead. I tried jumping it several times and got nothing. Thankfully my car is a manual and I was able to push it out of my parking spot, onto a hill, and jump the clutch. I contemplated bringing it to a new service center, but figured Prestige would have to show some sense of responsibility.First off according to Volkswagens website the first thing they should be checking on the 60,000 mile check up is check the battery. When I checked my report it said that the battery was good. So when I went to the service center I was understandably annoyed. When speaking to the service representative I say I brought my car in two weeks ago and things seem to be breaking left and right. The representative proceeds to correct me and say actually you were in here three weeks ago not two. Ah of course my mistake, well that changes everything! He tells me that it will be $293 for a new battery, at which point I said give me my car I am done. I took it to another mechanic in town who put in a new battery for $200 and explained to me that seeing if a battery is good or not is a routine check.After reading more reviews I really feel for the Sales department at this dealership. They seem to be doing a bang up job, and truly care about their customers. But because of the service centers ineptitude/questionable ethics/rudeness I (and who knows how many others) will never consider buying a car, break pads, or a key chain from this dealership.

While most people getting ready to buy a new/used car probably dread the idea of going to a dealership, I have to say dealing with Prestige was a refreshing change to that stigma. Victoria was fantastic, informative and I felt absolutely no pressure to close on any deals. She also spent a solid amount of time getting all the paperwork ready knowing i was coming in from Long Island, NY after work to save me as much time as she could. Thanks to her efforts the entire process was quick and easy, I would certainly recommend giving them a try.

I woke up this morning in such a crappy mood. I woke up extra early, got ready for work, then went out to my car..just to notice my tire was flat. I tried to put my spare on, but I couldnt get my lugs off. I limped my Audi right down to the road to Prestige, and asked the service girl for assistance. Without hesitation, they took my car, rearranged the garage to fit me in as I was now late for work, and put my tire on. Now I know that putting a spare tire on isnt a very laborious process, but it was the sheer act of kindness and extreme level of service that really put my day on the right track. Heres the kicker, I have never been, or purchased anything from Prestige. They knew that, but they also value service and recognize that you sell hard, but you have to service harder. I will 200% consider these guys for my next car, and I will do everything in my power to recommend them to anyone I know in the car market. If they service this well for non-customers, I could only imagine what the experience would be like for a buying customer. Cheers guys

If you drop your car for service you better going somewhere else!!!!!Good luck finding a loner car they are always booked for moths, you figure management need to wake up maybe look at that issueIf you are dropping off your car also good luck the next appointment is usually 2 to 3 weeks in advanceAlso always call in advanced to make sure the appointment book is properly book, they usually make mistakes, ob time when i book my appointment i found out that no body actually schedule it.I use them for more than 2 years and there is always an issue with them and its always with trying to book an appointment for service

Had an oil change done. I think the oil change itself was pretty good, but the low rating is due to the customer service received. Was told the service would be 1 hour, waited 2 hours. Management was initially unapologetic about wasting 1hour of time, reported it to VW of America, then the head manager of this location called apologizing.

Recently I had to bring my Volkswagen in for service. Once again, Prestige Volkswagen of Stamford impressed me with their attention to detail and their high level of customer service. I live in Fairfield and could get my car serviced at a dealership closer to my home. However, based on my experience with Prestige through the sales process and now service, I wont be going anywhere else. I went car shopping over the weekend. FYI I dont find car shopping as fun (and this is my first VW). However, the experience was beyond my expectations from this dealership. Everyone I encountered was extremely helpful, and I was able to get into a new lease the very same day. Most of all, Anna made the process seamless and efficient. They charge me 780 dollars just for one piece to give power to left light and I told so many times I DONT WANT THE WARNING LIGHT IN THE PANEL..the left light its workink, ok. but I still have a problem in the panel. And told me is not possible to take it off, even with the scanner... Unbelievable!

While I didnt wind up buying the GTI my wife and I were looking at I have to say the whole experience at this dealer was very low key and pleasant. Garrett, our salesman, had us test driving a car within 10 minutes and he knew the product. He was very accommodating when I came back a couple of days later for another test drive. The finance guy Carl worked out a very fair deal on the car and there was no pressure or games. I would recommend.

Buyer beware. I bought a used car last August and financed it. I paid the loan in full in December but have been unable to get the title from the loan financing company because Prestige wont fax necessary paperwork from the initial purchase. This was for a gap insurance policy that I didnt even want but was tacked on by the dealers finance manager. Both the loan finance company (TD Bank) and I have made numerous calls and sent email requests and either been lied to or not had the request followed up on. I cannot speak to their service department and the salesperson who sold us the car was wonderful but I would NEVER buy from them again. I own the car outright but still dont have title!
