I went in there not knowing exactly what I wanted to get and I want to give a shout out to Joyce for absolutely helping me and going above and beyond to help me get a gift for a friend thank you so much. The store was well organized and very clean.

Ordered online for curbside service. After an hour I tried to call to see if they could get my order ready that evening but only got a busy signal. Next day, I went to curbside service and when I called to let them know I was there, I was put on hold for 10 minutes. I hung up to call back and got a busy signal repeatedly. I had the dog in the car, so I left. That evening I went back and finally got through and got my order. Prices are good but curbside service leaves a lot to be desired.

Here visiting my grandmother for 2 days from Georgia. I brought my license issued by the Department of Driver Services, and when asked to present my ID, they declined it for an issue not stated on their ID policy document. The issue was unwarranted, the ID was scannable and the employee was simply being unreasonable and unprofessional. I won’t be returning to ABC, and I’ll strongly advise my grandmother and her numerous friends in the area not to as well. I’m disappointed, but CERTAINLY happy to take my business to a local store which values their customers. It’s not this one.

Even though this is a chain, I felt like I was getting the kind of excellent customer service, usually found at locally owned retailers. Keep up the good work.

Alex, Daniel, and the woman at the cashiers desk are what made me want to leave a review. I was greeted as I entered and the store was clean. I’d recommend driving a little further to this ABC just for the customer service, expertise, and respect. Docked a star since I didn’t find everything I was looking for and they won’t be able to serve my kind once they omit the craft beer section.

It has hard to find liquors

While visiting family in Sarasota over Thanksgiving, we stopped by the ABC store for some local brews. They have a very large selection of all types of beer, wine and liquor. We found beers from 2 local breweries we were looking for as well as great price on vodka. They also have a good selection of specialty foods and gift ideas.

I use to go all the time but parking became an issue and when I finally had a time with a parking spot they over charged me and when I drove back they wanted me to wait in a long line to get reimbursed. Really....wow what ever happened to customer service. So I had to raise my voice and warn others to check their receipts....

Found what I was looking for, good selection of wines and beer. Friendly service. Plenty of parking out front and handicap accessible.

Look, I am by no means a pro liquor store reviewer, but the prices here vs. the prices back in Kentucky seem to be about $2 cheaper!! That is OKAY by me.

I went into ABC liquor on Bee Ridge today. Met a nice older man who helped me pick a few pinot noirs from Willamette Valley as I am not familiar with anything but Cabernets. Very helpful!!!!! I was buying this wine for a friend who I also knows like the Trump Wine Line . So I asked the same salesperson if the store carried the Trump line of wine. That is where it went south. He responded to me “Oh god no we don’t carry that and why would you want to purchase anything with Trump on it”. I was taken back for a second because I did not know how to respond. I did NOT ask you for your political opinion, I asked if you carried a certain line of wine. Needless to say, I put the two bottles of Pinot Noir down, each averaging $35 in price and proceeded to leave the store without purchasing. He won’t miss my purchase today but it was the principle that I stood on. I want your knowledge of wine not your political opinion. I will never shop there again.

Didnt have what i wanted but not their fault! i was there right at closing; wish they were open a little later. They do have several sakis and lots of great bourbon and local beers. This is a nice store open until 8 pm on Sunday.

Its a well run establishment. ABC, in general, has really been stepping up its game! Store is clean, staff is nice and just about everything the average Joe would need in one place.

They always have what Im looking for. But sometimes the prices are high and I end up going elsewhere for some products, but its a good store and the people are very helpful.

Cashier was talking to customer about personal things while I waited for 5 minutes to be rung up. All the while 4 other employees sat and socialized stocking shelves. Next thing you know 6 people are in line. Then one opens another register. But the selection is good and they have a affordable cigar collection as well. So minus 2 stars for crappy service.

Worst customer service I have seen in a long time! All the staff there are rude and disrespectful. Steve which is the manager personally and that was the associate that I dealt with tonight and we had planned on buying alot of money worth, well his poor costomer service skills ruined that. HUGE improvement since being renovated. The selection is vast and its much easier to find what youre looking for. The whole store has a much more appealing look to it.

One of the best fine wine and spirits around. I have been cooking for years, its one of the only places Ill make a habit of frequenting for alcohol. I recommend going when they have specials because they run some crazy good specials. Always have Hennessy and bumbu which we of course get. They sheets have good flavors of svedka and bottles of anything else you want. Highly recommend anything from this store!

LOOOOOVE ITTTTT. They have a special mini craft beer in the middle to try any 40+ flavors. And their prices, dont even get me started, SO MUCH LOWER THAN ANYWHERE ELSE IN TOWN!!!!!

Good selection of alcohol, but most of the staff is not very friendly. There have been 3 times in recent months where their credit/debit machines were not working. Seems like the store is poorly managed.

I was on ABC (@Bee Ridge, Sarasota Fl), July 01 .. and bought two Alamos Malbec wines, which had $ 3 off ...I also bought cigarettes, the cashier and the manager in charge were not only angry to give me the $ 3 off, but they were also bad educated and derogatory in customer service! I hope you do not see them again, they ruin the image of ABC !!

It used to be like a bare bones liquor warehouse - they have upped their décor game, and even offer nice cheeses and snacky things now. The staff is friendly if I ever have questions. Ive found that they have really good prices on certain brands, compared to other liquor and wine stores.

Rachel the clerk was extremely rude. Even proceeded to say whatever to me after she gave me my smokes when she didnt know the kind I asked for. I was polite in saying camel filters 3 separate times.
