ANOTHER wonderful Northgate Market! If youve read any of my reviews on several other Northgate Markets, then you know I am in love with their stores! ♡♡♡ Every location has well stocked shelves with everything I need (and more! Lol!.) And wonderful customer service!But today, I have to send my sincere compliments to a particular person at the Bakery counter, Angel! He was super helpful and even offered suggestions I would not have thought to ask, for a cake I was ordering. I was treated with respect and kindness. Thank you Angel!!!And I always discover new and interesting items every time I shop (oh darn!) Basically, why go anywhere else! Love Northgate Market ♡♡♡

Personal opinion: these places have great products.. horrible customer service. They have baggers I think thats what they are call sorry if not. Well because of this extra employees we have to pay extra for their services their for the store have to raise their prices. But every time in all the stores I have ever been in they never have enough of this baggers and my kids have to do it. ONCE AGAIN PERSONAL OPINION

I love all of the things they have to offer at Northgate market. I love how they can make tortillas and put them together with mexican food. They have great horchata and great ceviche.

They sell great salsa. They have a limited selection of the certain things I was looking for at the time. But they have lots of stuff for cooking Mexican food which is my favorite.

A clean and convenient food market offering fresh produce and meats. Also, beverages.

My favorite cookies are fresh.

They were out of the bus pass I needed so I had to go buy it at another Northgate but their $2 tamale was bigger and better than George Lopez $6 tamale 😋😋😋

Well stocked, good items at reasonable prices. Bring your own sanitizing wipes because I dont think they disinfect their carts.

Dude the place saved me life by being open at 6 in the morning to get carbonated drinks to get rid of the hiccups.

This store is almost busy each and every time I shop there. The store is decent but the only drawback is the long lines you stand in while waiting to pay.

I had lost the receipt for a cake that I paid the day before. They had to check the cameras to make sure I had paid for the cake. Worst place ever to loose a receipt. It was a $40 dollar cake.

EXTREMELY DIRTY. THE MAIL CLERK REPLENISHING FRUIT AND VEGETABLES WAS WEARING A MASK BUT AROUND HIS CHIN ONLY. THE CHECKOUT STATIONS HAD MILK AND MEAT JUICES ON THE CONVEYOR BELTS AND SCANNERS. THE RESTROOMS WERE EXTREMELY DIRTY. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND LIFE THREATENING.

This market has a lot of fresh produce and a lot of made to go food. There guacamole is made fresh in front of you. And tortilla chips and tortillas are made fresh every day.

I am disappointed at this location I had ordered a car for my sons Baptism and when I went to pick it up there was no cake! They said they had made it last week!! Why didnt they call me to let me know i didnt pick up the danm cake that day it was fully paid for. Never again will I shop at this location to be exact Harbor and Mc Fadden. They need to train their people better as well. The person that helped us order the cake had no knowledge what so ever.

GREAT PLACE TO BUY CARNITAS - BUCHE - BIRRA AND LOT MORE!?

Their store is clean and organized. Staff is friendly and helpful. Especially during Covid-19, the store is systematic to keep everyone safe, and create a efficient process in all areas of the store (breads & pastries, butch shop, check-out). Signs and markers are clearly placed. They also have an attendant within the check-out area guiding people to check-out lines.

Produce is always fresh, good prices and pan dulce is delicious

They Sanitize the carts and there is one line 6ft apart. Also there is 2 lanes for 10 items or less. If you buy food already made theres 1 lane specifically for that as well. Stay Safe!

I would have rated higher (carnitas torta was delish), When ordering from the grill side remind the person who is preparing your food to use gloves when handling your food,also some people still dont know how to keep 6ft distance

I really like this Mexican grocery store.They have a large variety of things and lots of selection sometimes youll have a hard time deciding what you want for dinner but its not that hard. The staff is really good that place is pretty clean and the area has a lot to offer. I highly recommend this Mexican grocery store.

I went in for one of those hard to find ingredients, quite surprised the staff is very friendly walked you over to multiple areas to show me what it was they thought I was looking for . . . . . ..very helpful

Love love love this place! Especially the fresh tortillas! So good. Vegetables and fruits are very reasonably priced. Mexican foods seem a bit pricy. .. like salsas and meats. Prepared tamales are very good. It is clean and smells fine. The easiest dinner I like here is getting a marinated chicken, tortilla, beans & rice and you are good to go. Can’t beat homemade tamales and tortillas! Recommended.

Very good prices, homemade tasting food, very efficient staff. Their bread is wonderful, especially the bolillos.

Northgate market is one of several Hispanic oriented markets in southern California. It has its own taqueria in house, as well as a very large and diverse meat section, containing the usual but also things like beef tongue. its produce section is quite varied as well with a large variety of peppers tomatillos and other Hispanic Fair like sugarcane which is more difficult to find in other markets.

We love the carnitas here. We get a family deal that serves 6 people for $29.99. Its cheaper to get the family deal than buying the rice, beans, and salsa seperately. You get so much food and everything tastes delicious. They have a lot of fresh produce. Sometimes it looks better than what youd find at a popular grocery store chain. They also have the panderia(?). I forget what its called, but its the sugaru breads. Due to covid, they have someone there to bag the items you want for you.Overall, I like this market. Its clean, staff is always friendly, and they wipe down your carts for you too when you enter.

Nice and clean, great produce quality, pricey but better than most quality. Lots of fresh herbs and spices

Overpriced and pity costumer service, some short chubby woman thought I didnt have money to pay for the stuff Ive grabbed. I never felt so humiliated cause she was following me inside the store while I was shoppin, it was my first time there and hopefully wont be back again.

Staff was friendly, food was fresh. What I loved the most was the wide aisles. It was virtually impossible to bump into another customer. Even fellow shoppers were friendly. I live less than a mile from a different Northgate I will travel out of my way to go back to this Northgate.

Customer service is bad they don’t understand especially if your Chicano or Chicana and the it female working check cashing is miserable and jealous n hater of Mexican American born and raised I feel sorry for they will be miserable for the rest of they boring life hating on other’s not treating as she would like to be treated.

I love this store. They have the best deli.

Long lines. Not enough cashiers. Some times takes more than ten minutes to pay. Fast line cashiers at break during pick up hour. Fast line should be open at all times. Thats why is call fast line.

Gonzalez Market I like going there I used to go there a lot when it was across the street from me now that Ive moved theyre not so close so I dont get to go as often I like the store all the different merchandise that they have food sections really nice lot of different things there the only thing that I didnt like is they have these people that give you samples and most times theyre talking or theyre preparing or just looking around but you know that theyre theyre not doing their job you know it seem like theyre selective to and will they give stuff to I buy a lot of different stuff and its pretty rare when somebody will offer me something last time was it at Northgate and I ended up buying two or three of their product because it was really tasty was avocado on a chip with salsa we then purchased a package of three different kinds of prepared meat very delicious I had a few questions and talk to a guy named Gabriel and he was very helpful thank you I would recommend going to this Gonzalez Market for the varieties and even the prepared food that they have Mexican food delicious just dont have to have it so hot if you dont like it but if you do get the habanero stuff thats all for now

I just stop there for bread and tamales and it was very disappointing that there was not much of a variety to choose from(tamales). I hope our next visit we get better luck. By the way pozole was great!

Great place to shop for meats /fruits etc theirs security on the premises you can change checks here and theirs a shuttle where you have an amount of groceries you habe to ask staff for it and they can provide a uber ride to get you home

They need more vegan options. The Northgate in La Habra has a lot of vegan cheeses and meat alternatives. I had a hard time finding soyrizo and they only had one brand of tofu available. They didnt even carry different consistancies of tofu. Just medium firm and firm. Thats it! Their bulk bins are few and spread out, instead of conveniently located together. Over all, I have seen better Northgate markets.
