We wanted to buy some ingredients for home cook crayfish. I liked their fresh fruit selections and low prices. Great alternative to other supermarkets. Literally no one in line on early Sunday morning. Good for quick grab shopping.

Clean place. Lots of different stuff to choose from. I bought a JellyBrown Mi avenita drink I have bought this drink before at a different store and never had a problem until I got it from here. When I first open the bottle it smelled weird I took a sip and it was disgusting it was so watery and it tasted like rotten fish I threw up right away. My sister went back to exchange it and the cap said 09 2021 September which means it was supposed to be good and not expired, I opened the bottle took a sip and I swear it smelled like burnt plastic tiers it was so nasty, it tasted gross like plastic. I went the next day to change it since it was already late and an employee told me to get a new one but they were all rotten so she gave me the money back. Please remove all of the drinks they all expired Im not gonna do a long review but next time check the products before putting them out on the shelves or dont bring them out again if yall gonna be selling expired drinks . Since I forgot to take a picture I had to use Google to show you guys what drink Im talking about.

I went to get my groceries at this location and needed something that was on sale for that week, I went to the corresponding department and asked for it, however they tried to.give me something that didnt comply with the item description and or quality. I showed my concerns to the employee and he got upset stating that thats why the item was on sale and cheaper.Ive been to all other orange countys locations and they give you good products and or the same as stated on their weekly add. I tried to communicate with the store manager and he was looking away when I I was talking to him about my experience and the worst part is when the looked at me up and down. Unbelievable very unprofessional and uncomfortable.

Went to Walmart to buy some white onions, green onion/scallions, tomatoes and cilantro. Pretty expensive. Decide to go to El Super since it is on the same lot. Compared price. I could have brought 4 times the amount for less. So I did. Plus they have a butcher got meat there also. That will be my first stop if I need meat and vegetables.

The best pan dulce (Mexican pastries) in town. Very fresh and typical flavors. Just like home in Mexico City (CDM) now even wrapped with individual type of pastries with Covid requirements. Very nice Carnes so pastor also for tacos homemade flavors. Very nice and fresh vegetables and cheeses ALWAYS fresh.

When I asked the manager on duty, Lamberto why they didnt have a 15 or less aisle open, he said they dont have one after eight oclock at night. But said it in a rude and dismissive way. The store itself is ok. I may try Northgate across the street.

Todays visit was not great as other Em Supers. I went to buy vegetables and some masa for tamales. The tomatoes were all rotten and some with mold. The masa for tamales did not looked fresh like other stores. It was stored on refrigerator and that makes it harder to make the masa soft. It seemed just by being in the refrigerator it wasnt fresh. The meat was hard to order because they dont provide small cuts on some pork meat. It was just frustrating not finding good quality when you drive 30mn to find nothing good.

Excellent prices on basic produce, with a decent selection of Mexican staples and household products. An entire produce bag of cilantro currently comes out to 99¢. Unfortunately, not super tidy or well laid out; can be prone to cart congestion. The lines are no worse than any other grocery store though...

Great place for produce, I come every Wednesday thats when weekly specials start. Alot of Mexican Products can be found here as well, Love the sweet bread. They also have cooked food to go ranging from chicken to beans and rice. I recommend to get here early because the lines to pay get really long and can get impatient at times. Since its in very busy marketplace it tends to really be busy.

Great neighborhood store. I find that many of the prices are much higher than stores like Walmart. Produce is usually not as fresh as I would like. When they have specials on fruits and vegetables, they tend to be not the best quality. Love the pastries and the fact they have a meat department. You can get about anything you want from a steak to chicken for fajitas.

Seems to be pretty good deals, BUT the cashier I got today was SO RUDE. I worked customer service for years, so I am always polite and understanding when out shopping, so I dont understand why this lady would even think she has the right to treat me with the disrespect she showed me today. Id honestly rather go to food 4 less, than to go back to this place and be treated disrespectfully. Wont be shopping here ever again, and I dont recommend it for anyone else.

Great prices on all of their home goods (such as paper towels, laundry detergent, cutlery, feminine hygiene etcetera), produce (canned fruits/vegetables, dairy, bread, etcetera), frozen foods(pre-made dinners, ice cream, stuff like that). However the service and atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. I understand that low-budget places such as 99 cent store and Dollar Tree tend to be a little more on the for lack of a better word ghetto side, but I mean come on Ive had some of the rudest employees I had ever met at this El Super. If they can somehow improve their service youll get five stars for me until then youre lucky to get 3.
