I love shopping here. Theyve got a bakery inside, theres a butcher shop, seafood shop, with live seafood, or not. I really like getting the Frozen steamed buns for snacks. Theyve got everything you could need here! Definitely come check them out!

I did not know this place existed until today. Their grocery selection is out of this world! I literally had to force myself to stop shopping ha!

Their baked goods are amazing! Highly recommend any of the buns that have scallions on them. The custard bun is also good. I hope to come back and try to taro buns. My cousin shops here regularly and likes their selection, although sometimes they dont carry the mandu she prefers.

Its an interesting place, and if youre unfamiliar with Asian foods dont be shy. Its fine to ask questions or for assistance, theyll know that you might not be used to being there. Being near a college area, theyre used to inquisitive customers popping on by and seeing whats up. They have an excellent and varied selection of foods, including an in-house bakery for fresh pastries, pies and breads, bubble teas and smoothies, and an area for freshly steamed buns and a variety of meats. The grocery selection is considerable, along with frozen goods, dried goods, fresh fish and other seafood, and even a well stocked pan/cutlery section with all sorts of cooking implements and paraphernalia. Definitely worth visiting, both for those familiar with Asian foods, and those looking to try something new.

Been wanting to go here for a long time, glad I finally did. I went in with a game plan, knowing I wanted bulk udon noodles and a good dumpling sauce. I found that and plenty more. I really wanted to try some cucumber flavored chips, but the only 2 bags in stock were both ripped, it was a shame. I will definitely go back when I have more time to leisurely shop.

Best Asian market in Buffalo. Huge selection of ingredients not found in other markets. Aisles dedicated to Chinese, Japanese, vietnamese, and Korean food. Produce and seafood area. Great selection of hot pot items too with pre sliced meats.

First time going here, I was excited to see and possibly try new cultural foods. What I didnt like was the fake shopper following me around the store & the stares from some employees. It would help if some items had English labels or something that briefly describes products/ ingredients/nutrition values for customers. Other than that, the cashier that served me was nice and Im satisfied with a product that was purchased.

This store has all sorts of awesome products at great prices. Lots of frozen dumplings and buns that are super easy to cook as well as unique fresh produce. I come every few months to stock up on assorted noodles and gyoza and sauces.

The place is colder tgan Antarctica on Winter season that the cashiers had to wear Eskimo jackets and snow gloves. But there are a great variety of Asian food products and items that you could only purchase there. They have live eels and frogs, too. Great place to visit but wear thick jackets and gloves.

Such a great store for a wide variety of Asian foods. I lived in New Zealand for 5 years and missed being able to buy a wide variety of Asian foods since moving to Rochester. Now I know where to look! We bought a couple of fresh bakery items too and they were delicious!

Lots of Asian snacks, noodles, coffee, tea from China, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand. Have a great selection of rice too. Has a great bakery. Love the red bean bread, and lotus bean moon cake that they make. Also a good selection of fresh produce

Only place in Rochester for some live sea food. On Thursdays most of the fresh sea foods like live crabs are available. Some of my friends don’t go there for the smell of food (due to the usage of pork oil !?) they prepare in the entrance but it’s not that bad.

Ive been looking everywhere for bubbles for my boba tea and nowhere has been able to provide... Except for of course, Asia Food Market! Their staff was helpful when trying to find what I was looking for and I definitely will be going back to this place if Im in need of bobas anytime soon :-). The only downside was the treatment of fish.

Great Chinese bakery; egg tarts are delicious. Lot of Asian products to choose from but not a large selection of Japanese items such as yakisoba and azuki.

My wife loves the place, the food is lovely and lets be honest the moment you buy any food thats not American its instantly the healthier choice. But that unhealthy American food is what fuels me so were golden, great store lots of cool flavors and colors, she got some sakura flavored pink stax chips, how cool is that?

Oh wow. Ive visited Asia Food Market in the past for specialty Asian ingredients and groceries and they are very good for that. Today was the first time I was in on a Sunday, and the little counter cafe out front was hopping. Even before I walked in, I could smell the cooking so I made sure I stopped by and tried something before I left.There were two small poles with laminated cards offering various dumplings and noodle dishes to order near the register, and a few choices of prepackaged fried whole fish and crab. At the other end of the counter there is a glass case with the roasted meats, with little menu cards of all the choices. Im not sure if it varies, but today the options were roast pork, BBQ pork, roast duck and chicken with soy sauce. You could get any of those by the pound, or your choice (or multiple meats) over rice. I ordered the roast pork over rice and the woman at the counter passed the order along to a man near the glass case. The woman went to fill a styrofoam container with rice as the man took a large piece of pork off a hook in the case and began to chop a piece into bite sized chunks.As she was filling the rice, I began to have second thoughts about my choice and almost asked her to switch to BBQ pork, but Im very glad I did not. The roast pork was delicately seasoned with five spice, the meat was tender and there were little bits of exquisite crispy skin. The box was finished off with a bit of sauteed gai lan and a spoonful of some sort of soy based sauce right over the gai lan and rice.They have a few tables where you can sit and eat, but the food is all packaged to take out.DELICIOUS!

I love all the food my favorate sari2x store that I love to shop every week many2x stuff that I like to try to eat.

Love the place, it has lots of Asian products that cannot be found easily in any other place in Rochester. The bakery smells good though I never bought anything from there. The only downside here is most of the staff (probably all?) dont speak English so it is hard to ask them if you have a particular thing you want to buy but meh, you can just wander around and hope for the best.

As far as I know this is the only place where you can find good ingredients for authentic asian cooking, from spices to herbs. They have a wide variety of items at good price. Should visit for variety food.

First time visit was impressive. Been to other Asian type stores before but this one is the best Ive seen. Huge variety of products. Meat department has a variety of prepared meats fully cooked. Japanese,Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese and more . Highly recommend it.

I really like Asia food market. Im a person that enjoys cooking from all sorts of different cultures and the reality is that a western grocery store is never going to have all the different particular sauces and noodles and particular bits for Asian cooking. You do have to hunt around a little bit, and kind of know what youre looking for but the staff are always happy to lend a hand and the selection really cant be beat. One thing thats particularly nice is if you enjoy dumplings theyve an entire section in the freezer area dedicated to various dumplings you can take home and steam.

This is a first for me. I really enjoyed seeing foods I have never seen before. Decent prices and you can find anything you need to prepare Asian food.

Very clean and well set up for covid times, also selling reusable bags now which is awesome. Everyone was masked and the store looked great.

Great shop to find good Asian foods. It makes you feel like your in an Asian country. All the people are super friendly & nice. Most of the employees are Asian & some dont understand or speak English. So I just ask customers that are there. They have fresh sea food as well as poultry & pork. They also offer cooked food. Will definitely be coming back!

Fantastic selection of different Asian foods. Their leeks were extremely fresh and the Chinese sausage was very well seasoned. We were able to pick up a pho base and chili garlic which were both fantastic. As a word of caution, the chili garlic we picked was extremely hot. Very good flavors, just spicy.

I don’t even know where to begin. One, the cashier rang us up for a whole roast duck which we didn’t get. Two, poor very poor customer service. Horrible management team. Didn’t even want to resolve the issue. Waste my time driving there to get the refund cuz they won’t do it on the phone. Just horrible place. Go to the one in Buffalo. It’s a lot bigger. Once again poor customer service. Their scammer. Don’t go there. Hope they shut down soon.

A great place for authentic asian food at such reasonable prices

Clean. Organized. Usually have most of what I need. If not, I can always ask, and one of the workers would retrieve it from storage. And theyre usually pretty quick about it. Like a case of coconut juice. The egg-custard and bubble tea is pretty phenomenal as well. They added a restaurant portion to the store at the front. But I havent eaten there so I cannot speak for the quality. Based on the amount of traffic they get, the restaurant food is probably pretty good.

Best place has just about anything that you would be looking for... And then another couple aisles after that!The food that you can get fresh a front is extremely authentic, but sometimes to a fault. The market gets a five stars, but the restaurant and the bones that are in the soup get more like a three.

Love it here!!! Noodles, soy sauce, fish, produce, rice, bonito, kombu, nori, housin, rice wine vinegar, fish sauce, ell...everything! And the bakery is awesome!

Great variety of Asian food and goods. Everything Ive tried has been very good quality, but my needs are admittedly limited. A busy place, so others must share my approval.

Great food from the little food market in front, it authentically has bone in it but the flavors are AWESOME. Its hard to drive back to work without just eating the whole thing then and there (do it, its always best when the rice is still hot). The bakery inside has cream buns - a sweet whipped butter topping with coconut shreds on top. The rest of the grocery is great, Kit Kats in multiple flavors and the exotic fruit gummies (that I forgotten the name of). Its one stop shopping for most eastern dishes.
