Incredible place. Its a one man show and the man is incredible. Eric knows what he is doing and he does not overcharge you. He will tell you like it is but he is not rude. If you want to be lied to, go to other places. If you want to be told the truth (whether you like it or not), take your bike here. Best moto repair shop Ive ever been too without paying for flashy signs and logos. I could not recommend Roanoke Cycle Sports more.- A satisfied (and back on the road) customer.

My Piaggio scooter got stolen from the street last year. It was recovered, but had been damaged and partially-disassembled. The process of getting the necessary new parts took months due to dealership incompetence, COVID-related production delays, and lost orders.Throughout the process, Eric was a true professional. He stayed on top of the dealership until they had managed to procure and send the last of the missing parts. Thanks to Erics follow-through and mechanical skill, the bike looks and rides like brand new.

The shop is a one-man show. He is knowledgeable detailed and dependable. I would have no problem recommending this business to anyone that needs cycle repair. He does have a specialized niche, but also a lot of good resources. My one word of advice if he doesnt answer stop by during business hours and check out not only what he can help you with on your bike but all the cool bikes he has on his shop floor.

Went in and spoke with the owner and mechanic. Got an estimate on a couple of tires and some work. This shop has been recommended to me by several friends. Ill keep you posted, Im going in with my bike tomorrow.

I had a motorcycle tire on the verge of blowing out on the Blue Ridge parkway on the Labor day holiday. These guys helped me out with some great service and top notch work even on a holiday when no one else was open! Highly recommend!

Above and beyond service and just a darn good guy. Eric found me broken down on my Yamaha about a mile up the road trying to fix my bike in the parking lot of an auto parts store. He didnt just stop and help me, he asked me to come to his shop and let him look at it. He went to the point of making sure my tires had the right PSI. Eric showed me some tips and trips and gave me knowledge on proper maintenance of my motorcycle to avoid future issues. At the end he didnt even charge me, just wanted me to have a safe trip. Thats customer service.

Outstanding customer service. I went to a couple of other places while traveling through Roanoke because I had broken a foot peg off my bike. At the other places no one even cared to help me so I called this guy and he said he even had a used Triumph foot peg as well as several others and he said we’ll make something work got there and 15 minutes we were back on the road! The guy is honest and sincere and definitely fair on prices.

Eric is the MAN!! This guy knows his stuff inside and out. Don’t take your vintage bike anywhere but here. I had a ‘71 BSA Rocket 3 serviced there and it was running like new when I left. He has a passion for motorcycles that can’t be eclipsed anywhere in SW Virginia or all of VA including parts of NC, WVA, TN, KY, MD. Eric knows bikes, mopeds, engines of any type.

I arrived today within 30 minutes of closing with my old wheel and damaged tire. Took the time to swap out my damaged tire with a new one at a moments notice and at a great price! Got back home, installed my wheel and took my bike out for an evening test ride overlooking the Roanoke night lights on 581. Smooth as butter. A well balanced tire...Excellent! Highly recommend!

Called looking for someone to work on my ATV. The fella I talked to Erik,was very helpful. He said he was real busy with motorcycles this time of the year but recommended another fella he asked what my problem was with my machine and told me how to fix it. Eric is a very good mechanic. He is very fair on prices for service or buying a moped. Recently he put new slider weights and a performance exhaust on my Genuine Buddy 170i. He did an excellent job and I got it done same day. It was done right and ran perfectly. Recently I crashed my Honda CB 1100 and hes going to pick it up to fix it as Im banged up and cant ride it there. Will need a valve adjustment on the scooter and the Honda soon and hes the guy who Im trusting to do them. I recommend his shop and dont understand the one star ratings. Im not one to give 4 stars that often.

I have been here multiple times to purchase parts for my bike. I have never had an issue and the owner is very knowledgeable and always has the part that I need at half the cost of the much larger competitors. Would recommend this shop to anyone seeking knowledge, service or parts!

My bike a 95 Triumph Thunderbird developed a fault while I was touring on it having flown it and myself from the UK.Eric was very helpful,sorting the problem out for me in 24 hours. He also gave me a ride back to my motel when he closed up in the evening. It was nice to go to an old school bike shop. It was like going back to my youth. I cannot reccomend this business highly enough.

Motorcycle FI indicator came on and engine stopped on 220. Got it towed to this shop walked in and immediately didn’t feel welcomed. Was told they didn’t have a monitor to connect to my bike to see what was wrong they would have to trouble shoot it. I said ok but you can do that he said yes. I asked where I should put my bike he said look around I’m backed up I’m not working on yours. I Looked at my tow truck driver and said can you take me to star city cycles and the guy at the shop said he just got off the phone with them and they are backed up 2 weeks. I asked him for his business card and he stamped a piece of paper and handed it to me. My bike is at star city and their team was friendly and welcoming.

Erics a no BS kind of guy and hes very easy to deal with. Hes my first choice for an honest motorcycle mechanic.

I got friendly and honest advice here for troublesome scooter brakes and then some mechanical help at a great price. Highly recommended.

They helped me and worked with me so i could get and afford a new mope. They always fix what was wrong with my bike and fixed it right the first time their the only ones i trust.

My son & I have many bikes old & new. Hes helped us on all of them.

I brought a scooter from them,3years ago the scooter wouldnt start so I took back to them to repair it took them 2weeks to aay someone put the wrong spark plug in it never took it no where else or never been work on.took the scooter home and it will start.they are liers and not BLACK friendly..took my money and push me out the door.never fix the scooter!!!

These people are terrible and racist AF, charged me 200 and kept my scooter for almost 3 months and wouldnt answer my calls like they were screening me i had to get my white buddy to talk to them just so I could pick up my scooter, all because of an oil leak on my 150 and they didnt even fix the leak, so I took it to the shop in se and the fixed it in 30 min and figured out it was my o ring which cost me 10 bucks.
