I bought a 2022 C8 Corvette for Boardwalk Chevrolet and it was a great experience. Al the Corvette specialist was awesome. He is extremely knowledgeable and his daily driver is a c8. I was on the waiting list for two years but it was worth it once I got my car at list price. I definitely would recommend buying from these guys.

Chevy Bolt Ev is running good sales, a lot of incentives and I took a shot.First i was in Fremont dealership and our guy was off for couple of days when we decided to get a car. So we went to explore the second place which was Stevens Creek dealership. The service was too intense for me, they rushed and asked me too much info before hearing us. We just wanted to see how low the MSRP can go and then start negotiating. And I was trying to avoid all the personal financial questions before the deal. But at the end they gave a fair price and we left to think about it a little bit. My gut was telling to check the third dealership and I went to Boardwalk where I met Nancy. She was super nice, patient and understanding, I asked so many questions regarding every number I couldn’t understand so she went above and beyond answering them. They almost match the price and the process was calm and smooth, I’m pregnant and didn’t want any stress while getting a car. Even though the price was a little higher I preferred to stay and get it done with Nancy. I appreciated that she wasn’t pushing the sales but instead patiently following us.I wish many of car dealers were patient and understanding when you are about to do a big purchase for a several years ahead.P.S Prior coming to the Boardwalk dealership I gave a call and asked specific questions and the girl from the front desk was super nice and answered questions in a detailed and not a rushed manner.

Ray Kaupp and his son, on their day off, volunteered to meet me about half-way between Boardwalk Chevrolet and my home. Thus reducing my roundtrip from more than ten hours to six.Ray was very thorough and professional during the walk-around and exchange of paperwork. And Boardwalk kept its promise to sell the car at MSRP.Throughout the nearly sixteen month wait for the C8, Ray kept me informed about the delivery status. I am very pleased with the car and the service. When i purchase another GM vehicle, it will be from Ray Kaupp and Boardwalk Chevrolet.

This review is for the sales department.Well first I want to Thank Anthony for making the purchase super easy.I was in the market for a chevtolet bolt and found a good lease deal on their website so I arranged a time with Anthony to come and lease it, but the night before I changed my mind and decided I want a volt. They had several and chose a nice certified pre-owned one at a good price. Anthony is extremely knowledgeable about the chevy cars and knew literally everything about the volt.The whole finance process took no more than 1.5 hours and upon the pick up of the car Anthony had filled up the tank and washed the car. He also cleaned the windows inside and out. Talk about excellent service. So if youre looking at purchasing a car definitely ask for Anthony; you wont regret it.

I liked the sales agent Nancy fine. She was enthusiastic and helpful. And we ended up leaving with a new car at a lower monthly leasing price. However....she did not take the extra step of telling us what features the new 2021 Bolt would NOT have compared to the one we were turning in, a 2019 Bolt. I felt that any good salesperson should take the initiative to point out what would be missing and I was pretty angry, since the main feature we now dont have is the warning beep when backing up or the little warning lights in the mirrors. These are essential features and I dont know why Chevy would eliminate them, they should be on every model. In addition, we werent told that it wouldnt have heated seats or steering wheel, two other features I treasured in my 2019 Bolt. For that reason, not being told we would be getting a different car, I give the dealership low marks.

Friendly staff, very helpful, and it was really easy & convenient to work with them. I was able to text them questions and always got very prompt responses. Since I brought my kids to the dealership and didnt have a lot of time, they helped me reserve the car very quickly; it only took about 15 minutes to do the paperwork. Then they actually delivered the car to my house and did the rest of the paperwork at my home the next day, while the kids were in school. Great service!

The service advisor wasnt able to find my appointment in the system, I told him that I got it through the mychevrolet website and he said that the system shouldnt have allowed me. He took my car anyway. Then I told him about the prepaid Chevrolet service that I got when I bought the car and showed him the signed contract. He told me that to process the payment, I had to call the dealership where I got the car so they could give me a phone number for him to confirm who would be responsible for the service. Later that morning I called the Stevens Creek dealership to get the information that he requested but when I called him back he told me that he was able to figure it out by himself. Definitely not a smooth experience.

She was straight forward about pricing, and honored the handshake deal she had made the day before when we came back. Finance folks were honest and presented add-ons, but didnt pressure us to take something unless it was valuable to us. I bought a 2021 Chevy Silverado LT from them. They hassled me for over an hour trying to get me to buy a extended warranty and a service warranty. Then when I said no they became cold with me. The truck was supposed to have been detailed but when I got home and wanted to wash it there was glue all over it from the plastic shipping cover . I called them and the said the would see what they could do about it and then never got back to me. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone!

My service advisor Ramon was very friendly and nice and really tries to provide good serviceHowever the problem for which I brought in the car was never fully explained (The charging door for my Volt periodically will not open. I have had the car in for this issue numerous times.)The other issue is that after my car was in for repair, it now smells like cigarettesI never have smoked and have never had a smoker in my car previouslyI do not know why it has that smellFinally, when I initially brought the car in for drop off, there were so many cars waiting to be received that we had to wait in the busy street before being able to be accommodatedYour service department is poorly organized

The Boardwalk Chevrolet dealership has been absolutely amazing to us for the entire time we owned our beloved Bolt. The quality of service is remarkable. We have been using their services for all of the technical services for the car, and it has always done super smoothly. Never any surprisea, always excellent service. One such demonstration is excellence happened on the day we returned the vehicle as it has reached its end of lease period. On that day, the official manager, Ben, in charge of lease returns was not in, and Ian voluntered to process the lease return for me although it was not originally supposed to. It was incredibly nice of him to do it, as I was going to stuck, since I was going to be out of town afterwards. Thank you Ian!

Critical: Value$1200 Service!!? I originally went in for a manufacturers recall and an Engine light - All of which would have been covered under warranty. I recently bought the car and it needed an oil change and the tires rotated. I asked for a service and the Advisor scheduled me for a maintenance preferred service. The vehicle had 41k miles at the time of the service and they decided to complete the 45k service which is fine. Ramon the advisor completed up sold me and cited the 40k service instead of the 45k service and did a lot of additional work outside the service manual which mind boggled me. This is the meaning of maintenance preferred its a premium service you dont need but that is how they make money and prey on the trusting people who walk into their garage. Whats more is when I rang the manager and advisor they cited that because of Californias conditions they offer this kind of service to everyone. Its the bay area - temperatures are not extreme and the roads are better than most other states! I am extremely disappointing with the dishonesty of this dealership and their unwillingness to make it right by offering me more than a free oil change. What is worse is that the advisor never gave me details of the service in a quotation when I dropped my car in - very unprofessional and dishonest. I would not recommend anyone bringing their vehicle here for a service! Or if you do get details of the service or just tell them exactly what you need and be firm with them.

Horrible experience with the sales department. I messaged them the day before to get a quote, and they delayed until the next morning to email me the quote. Then the next day we went in, the salesperson was terrible and didnt care about us at all. The sales manager was even worse, very rude, and refused to negotiate at all. He also tried to lowball me on the trade. I went to another dealer and got the car I wanted quickly at a better price, for the car and my trade-in.I have been to many dealerships (BMW, Audi, Honda, Mazda), purchased and leased multiple cars before, and this is the worst experience I have ever had. If you are trying to get a Chevy, go somewhere and save yourself some time.

Living in the Pacific Northwest, most Chevrolet dealers dont have a large selection of Corvettes. Started searching the Internet and found Boardwalk Chevrolet. This dealership has a Corvette room that you can see in the picture full of Corvettes. This was a scary and wonderful process buying your dream car without ever driving one. The sales people Steven and Ben were wonderful to work with, knowable and flexible working with a buyer that lives in a state that they dont normally work in. With there help, I was able to complete the entire process before flying down to SFO to pick up the car. My wife and I are driving the new Corvette Grand Sport back home through the coast line over the next few days. I will let all my friends in the Corvette Clubs in portland know about this dealership for their next purchase.

Was trying to buy a Silverado 1500. Very poor selection and the one they had was not great. Way overpriced. Very poor sales people. I had to make the sale for them but because they were so bad I went to Stewart Chevrolet and got a better truck for a better price and a great experience. Dont shop at Boardwalk for any kind of car.

Visited Boardwalk Chevrolet to look at a used volt. I have searched both the Tesla dealership and the Toyota dealership and this was by far the best experience. Juan the Product Specialist was so helpful. He walked with my wife and I for over an hour showing us each car that may fit our needs and their options. He was thorough and patient. I have been to a used car lot before and that is not what this place feels like. Our experience with Juan is what I wish for any car buyer. No pitching us and no aggressive sales tactics. It was truly just Juan educating my wife and I about the cars on his lot. We came to LOOK at the volt but after our interaction with Juan we did not want to go anywhere else. I am grateful to Boardwalk Chevrolet and Juan for getting me into my new Chevy Volt hassle free. I would highly recommend this dealership to my friends and family.

Mike in service department was very helpful and help put my mind at ease. We have a 2019 GMC Acadia that we purchased slightly used from another dealership and we also purchased an extended warranty through Zurich on the vehicle. They were very helpful on getting the Zurich claim processed so I would have to pay nothing out of pocket except for the $100 deductible. he also informed me of the 60,000 mi powertrain warranty which I was unaware of.

I left my wifes Volt for service on Friday and I was told it will take until Tuesday to do the 45k service + small problem with the check engine light. We had plans to go out of town this weekend so I had to figure out alternate means of transportation. On our way out they call us and they tell us the vehicle is ready. We told them to leave the car on the parking lot so we can pick it up on Sunday when we get back. I go to pick it up and I find the front license plate bent. See the photo attached.They charged me $1250 for 45k service. For that kind of money I expect better customer service.

As a rare purchaser of a new vehicle (my second new car in a dozen years), I was leery of the entire car buying process but the team at Boardwalk Chevrolet made it easy and pleasurable. I really appreciate that they worked as a team and everyone was so helpful. On the first reconnaissance trip (with no intention of purchasing that day), the newest member of the sales team, Dave, was friendly and helpful and took my daughter and I on a test drive in the exact vehicle I was most interested in. He then worked with the manager, Ben, to give me a cost breakdown. There was no pressure. 5 days later, my husband and I were greeted by Ian who immediately offered for us to take the vehicle for an extended test drive to our home to see if the car would navigate our steep driveway. On our return Ian was unavailable and handed us over to Reese who capably and affably answered our many questions about electric vehicles. Our detailed conversations with Reese and Ben proved that they are true car nerds who love the details. We decided to think it over and again, no pressure - just lots of facts. I was able to text with Ben about details and further questions and the next day we purchased our new Bolt EV and again, Reese and Ben were patient and very knowledgeable. Eddie, the finance person, also took the time to explain each piece of paper requiring signatures. I was very impressed at the teamwork, professionalism, knowledge, and low pressure of these men. Very unprofessional!!I called ahead of time after searching online for an Orange color Corvette. They confirmed that they had one. I set an appointment to meet a salesperson and drove 40 miles across the bay. When I got there 15 mins earlier they told me that they didn’t have the orange one and that it was in transit to be delivered. So then I said ok show me a car similar to the spec of the orange one. After unlocking one of the cars he went off to help someone else. When he returned I asked him for a test drive and in an unprofessional way he began to tell me they don’t just allow test drives for anyone coming in wanting to rev the engine and spin the wheels only to say I’ll think about it.They have no respect for peoples time. First lied about the car, even sent me a link to the orange corvette, then they insulted me. The ignorant salesperson didn’t even see me driving in his dealership with a $140k Mercedes-Benz S class. And little did he know I could write a check then and there for 10 corvettes.This dealership needs to show respect and professionalism because this cost them a sale of a car . I will never buy from them.It’s not about them refusing a test drive, rather, it’s about the ill mannered, disrespectful and humiliating way they said it.

A Nissan salesman had raised a lot of doubts in my mind, but David countered all of them when he took me out in my first test drive in a Chevy Bolt.I returned to Boardwalk Chevrolet about a week later with more questions. Juan took me out for a longer test drive and was able to answer every single question as well as addressing my range anxiety. By the end of the test drive, I was almost persuaded... the only sticking point was the colour - I wasnt a fan of the grey cars that Juan had in stock. Instead of pressuring me to accept one of the most common colours on the road, Juan and his manager Ben found a blue Bolt that was en route to their dealership from the factory. Two weeks later, Juan called with the good news that my new Bolt had arrived! Then we had to look at loans... and the first loan option that came up was a bank that Id had multiple bad experiences a few years ago. No problem, said Ben, and he went back to the system to find a less-objectionable bank offering almost the same terms.Im enjoying my new car, and really appreciate both Juan and Bens generous attention in making sure that I got exactly what I wanted. :-)

I took a Chevy 3500 diesel van here for service only to be turned away at the door because their service department is not equipped for heavy duty vehicles. The service manager directed me to the Chevy dealer in Burlingame - Putnam Dealership. They also don’t work much on diesels. I wish the Chevy Boardwalk dealership would add these facts to their website - I had to take a day off of work only to be redirected to a different dealership that could meet my needs.

Juan and Ben went out of their ways to provide some extra service. The car arrived at their dealership rather late in the evening. They called to arrange for me to pick up the car. I said due to the hour, Id be there in the morning. They said that they could deliver the car and we could do the necessary paperwork at my home, which they did. Ive bought many cars in my time and this was the first time I received home delivery. Thanks guys. Ill recommend your dealership to whomever I know is interested in buying a car.

This was a recall service for a 2019 Volt for which I received an estimate of 4:30 completion, and a text message to my cell when it was done. I did not receive a text, and at 4:55 I received a phone call on my land line that the car was ready, but the shop would close at 5:00. Their website shows that the hours are 9am to 8pm on Friday (I had the work done on 7/24), When I went to pick up the car on Saturday morning, the place I had left the car was closed, and I was told to go to the Mazda dealer further down the road. There I requested the car, but the person seemed not to know where it was. After about 20 minutes they found it, and I was able to pick it up.When I dropped it off I had requested that they look at the driver side rear tire which showed only 30 psi on the dashboard warning. This was noted on the invoice, but apparently was not done since I noticed on the drive home that the tire pressure was still at 30 psi. I pumped it up to 38 psi when I got home, and have had no more indications of low pressure.I think this was very unprofessional service and treatment, and I do not plan to return.

What did I do to deserve this?About a month ago I went to test drive the 2018 Volt. The car is AMAZING and now is mine!!! I put 865 miles in it with less than a half of tank of gas.The ride is smooth and quiet, and believe or not it has great pick up. Why would anyone drive a gas car? Why?.... Let me tell you the best part about owning this car. The best part is that I a got to meet the team from boardwalk Chevrolet!!!These people are spectacular! Every single employee a came a crossed was outstanding.I specifically want to give a shout out to Mr. U and Donald Mays. These fellas are in a league of their own. If you ever want to meet a car salesman with human compassion (no joke) stop by the dealer and buy a car from them.Martin G

This dealership beyond amazed me. Spent many evenings shopping for a Corvette, finding that deal to fit my budget until I came across this listing online that led me to Ben (General Mgr) @ Boardwalk Chevrolet, it was late in the evening speaking to him over the phone not knowing his dealership was already closed. This dint stop him to provide me exceptional customer service. Met him the next day and voila, he was even better in person. All this time I thought he was just a Sales Agent wanting to make a sale but the staff at Boardwalk Chevy are not your typical car sales men. I worked with Chris to finalize a deal that left me very happy, Chris was very knowledgeable, patient and did everything to make sure we were comfortable at their store. I wanted to extend my thanks to them for going above and beyond with me. This type of customer service you guys provide really means a lot. So a BIG KUDOS for a job well done.PS: You have to check out the room where they keep all their Corvettes, its was breathe taking!!!

Update 5/23/18: I know I said I would update status on 5/19. I couldnt write anything because they didnt have time to work on my car until 5/22....The job was finally done on 5/22 but when picking up I found there is a new damage to the body of the car: paint about size of nail cap was gone. It is obvious that something had dropped on it to cause it. Now I have to bring the car back to get the paint touched up. Im traveling this week. I will update status again when I have the paint touch-up work done.Update 5/18/18: I came in today to get the plastic piece replaced. The manager was nice to help me though the process. I didnt get to use my supplier discount as I had hoped because I was told I couldnt stack the discounts. I do get 2 gas cards to make me happier. Alice was very kind and she had me setup for the repair and gave me a loaner while they work on the replacement work. Will post further update when I get the car back tomorrow.Leased a Chevy Volt from this place. Worest experience ever! After I drove the car home and took a closer look. I found it has crashes on the back of the plastic piece already. I immediately texted the sales person and was told to come back the next day. When I get there the next day I requested for a reduction of price, they said thats up to the manager who is currently in meeting and I wont see him until 3 hours later :( I waited in the lobby. In the meantime, the sales person went to do what he needed to do to polish off the scratches. It could not get removed or concealed. Hours later he says they would replace the piece for me if I bring in the next day. I think it is acceptable resolution. But when I got home and opened up the trunk I see a bottle of paint in there and it is open!! As you can see in the pictures, there is paint spill all over the mat! I texted him back and he apologized. But after that, no return of phone calls/texts!!

Salvador S. in the Boardwalk Chevy Service Department is great to work with. I was planning on getting my 2019 Bolt repaired at a third party, assuming it would be less expensive, but I thought Id get a quote from Boardwalk Chevy as well. After meeting with Salvador, and working with their Parts Department, I decided to schedule the repair with Boardwalk. Salvador is honest and straight forward and that is the type of person I want working on my car.
