While searching for the car we wanted on Auto Trader, found it at Boardwalk Auto Mall in Redwood City and emailed them to see if still available. Got a call back the following morning and scheduled an appt for us to meet with Justin Johnson, their sales rep... the same day. Justin was super helpful and very informative about our Jeep. Pointed out things we never would have discovered ourselves. We purchased the car and are super happy with it and with the help of everyone at Boardwalk but especially Justin, super sales person.

I am still trying to get some answers from Boardwalk - we bought a Volkswagen Sportswagen from them in August 2020 and after paying for the vehicle, Mr Tran from the finance department suggested taking on a Fidelity Mutual Platinum Plus plan as well. My credit card was charged $1,799 and we were told the contract would be mailed to us from Fidelity. I have the receipt for the charge but no contact policy.Fast forward to May and we still have not received the contract.I have just gotten off the phone with Fidelity Mutual and they tell me THERE IS NO RECORD of my vehicle nor my policy.Boardwalk Auto - are you getting back to me?!

My Nissan drivers door wouldnt open even with a key. Took to dealer to fix, they used a camera to find out why that happened. It was the actuator. Everyone shows how to fix that on U Tube but with the door open and not closed as mine was. The dealer fixed it. Hooray

If you want a fair and clean deal on any GM car, you must hit Boardwalk.My sales guy Al Rezaee was east to work with. Even though I got $5/month more than the other dealer, I enjoyed the comfort that Al gave me in closing the deal. His manager was also a nice individual.I’m not complaining about the $5 per month given the fact that they don’t push you and don’t start high like other dealers and then try to show you how much discount they are giving.Thank you Al for everything and Lee up the good work.

About a month i contacted the dealership to trade in my car and Marian or Maryann was supposed to help me out with the whole prosses, well i called her a few times and she never followed up. one of the managers Aramin reached out to me and said he was going to help. He said he called the bank and the car was ready to go he also promised a lower APR and i was ready Exited. Well the next day i show up and nobody has a clue of what im talking about and Aramin wasnt there. At this point i was ready to go to another dealership Thankfully Derek was able to help. He got me a good deal and made the process very easy. I had a few issues with the bank and he would always call back and check in im very pleased with his costume service and he is extremely professional, if you need help go look for Derek. After all i was able to walk out with my 2020 Dodge challenger. Thank you Derek!!!!

Unprofessional service, disconnect on communication between service and parts department.Work done that was not authorized and I still had to pay 80% of bill.$1200 in new tires and installation. Yet they couldnt clean them. They had my truck for 4 days because parts department, or service, couldnt get door parts in when they said.Yet they did offer me a mini-detail for my troubles a week later. I really want to let them have my truck again, NOT.

To order parts, know your year/make/model/trim, engine type/size, manual/auto, awd/fwd and etc. Or just grab your registration and insurance from the glove box to show the VIN. Even if you think its a generic part, let the parts guys check their catalog to confirm. Dont act all macho like you know whats generic and whats not.Unless, youre a grumpy old lady whose pre 1986 car is not in the catalog and parts are mostly NLA... If you cant handle having to provide your VIN when you already looked up the part numbers, you should order online. Human contact is not for you. Go home and feed your grumpy old lady cats.

I was looking to buy a jeep for a very long time when I came across this Dealer. After comparing it to several dealerships around i decided to try them. Their website showed multiple incentives which most of the cases Dealers use to attract traffic and end up not honoring them. I had 2 more dealers making me offers. When I got there, MARIAH took care of me. She is very upfront and has a positive attitude. Went to other dealers just to compare which would offer a better deal and their attitude was just rude and not caring. I have a sales background and I know what kind of sales person they are just with the initial conversation. I went back to boardwalk auto mall and was taken care of. They honored what their official website said. If you go there ask for MARIAH she is a 5 star for sure. Can’t speak for the rest of the staffing.

Was trying to buy a Silverado 1500. Very poor selection and the one they had was not great. Way overpriced. Very poor sales people. I had to make the sale for them but because they were so bad I went to Stewart Chevrolet and got a better truck for a better price and a great experience. Dont shop at Boardwalk for any kind of car.

I went in for service and found the estimate to be very high. I asked and there was a lot of extra services recommended. My car is fairly new to me and I had a big service done at another dealership this summer but was not sure what was specifically done. The service agent would not call the other dealership to see what might truly be needed. I only got the oil changed and realized I paid significantly more than at the other dealership.

Boardwalk is the only one place that I had been trusted to work on my corvette.Been coming here now for 5 years or so. I never had a bad experience here at boardwalk auto mall. Due to cover 19 pandemic its mandatory to wear a mask . This morning I forgot to bring my own mask .The manager Jose Cabral hand me one for me to use. Mr. Cabral youre the best. There are plenty of dealership around here and no lack of choices. JohnnyB seemed like a genuine person and his personality and effort made our shopping experience much more pleasant. They fixed my 2018 ecodiesel very quickly. I had the vent noise fixed, oil changed, tires rotated and they also got it running again all under warranty. Its a shame my brand new truck had these issues but with a team of support behind it I still am very happy. Thanks Boardwalk you guys did a great job. What a pleasant experience I had shopping for and purchasing my new car at Boardwalk Auto Mall. I visited the showroom several times and I am sure asking the same questions over and over again. Alice Howard, a sales associate at Boardwalk, was there to greet me and listen to my questions and what I wanted in a car. I received a great deal on a 3 year lease on a 2017 Volt. Eddie was extremely helpful showing my wife and me the car, and then went out of his way to ensure the car, which came in on the truck only the day before, was promptly checked out and detailed so that I could drive it home the same day. Don familiarized me with the cars features, answered all my questions and then followed up with the information I needed to apply for the CA rebate. All-in-all, a great experience.

I hesitated in choosing exceptional (only) because of an incident while the gent was preparing to pull my car into the service bay for service. As Im finishing up the check-in process with Jason (who was outstanding!), I see a gent with a collection of keys dangling from his belt prepare to enter/ drive car to bay. I said Young man, please remove your keys before getting in my car. He was professional about it, but I shouldnt have been in that position to begin with. Keys would definitely have damaged leather seating surfaces.

He has worked there as a mechanic for years!I did have a slight issue with the team that registered me and my vehicle in. First they quoted me $400 and later, when I brought my vehicle in, the price jumped to $1,800. But thanks to Fernando, the bill was reduced to $1,370.

Brought my 2016 Silverado (same truck I bought from them in summer of ‘16 for $50k) in for basic service on a rainy day. And picked it up with a big scratch on passenger rear side. Since talking with service advisor there’s nothing that the dealership will do or take ownership for. Bad decision on their part because not only is it not the right thing to do, but they also lose a client for future. I was in the market for a new Corvette too! This dealership and Chevy lost a good customer.

I’ve never had service so horrible or dealt with people so rude. I will never recommend any dealer at Boardwalk Auto Mall. They are the absolute worst ever. They scratched my truck, poked a hole in my leather seats, could not find a radiator leak in a hose and rudely denied it all telling me that my truck was too old. So I just a truck that’s more than a certain age deserves to be destroyed in their opinion. I had to pay for that horrible experience in order to get my truck back to top it off.

Worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my entire life! I purchased a warranty for the car and the guy talk me into getting a service warranty for oil changes and check ups. Once I did my research I decided that I wanted to cancel that warranty and they chose the wrong one to cancel after I explained very clearly which one I wanted canceled. Which is fine if they fix it but the lady I spoke to told me it was my fault and they couldnt help me. They will not respond to my phone calls, and to top it off my car that I just spent 37,000 on is in the shop with no money because of this mess! So if you want honest reliable people you better go somewhere else because they are a JOKE!

Worse case of customer service I have ever experienced in any industry. Made an appointment for a specific recall which couldnt be serviced because they didnt have the part. The appointment was made 2-weeks prior so they should of planned better. When I asked why they had me bring the car in in the first place and leave it there for the day, the manager (I think his name was Joe) just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. This guy definitely needs to learn how to deal with customers or stay out of the shop. He didnt even have the courtesy to reschedule my appointment. If you want a pleasant experience this definitely is not the place to go.

They were inappropriate and very unprofessional. I had a terrible experience both with the services department and with their manager. Communication was a huge issue. They did not call me back when I left voicemails. They couldnt find the keys to my car at one point. They never offered me a rental, I had to request that they offer me something after they had already had my car for a week. The manager said he would take over and personally oversee the servicing and the communication, which he never did and still has not returned a call or contacted me. They had my car for a month. To top it all off one service department guy made sexual comments to me. The whole situation was highly unprofessional and very inappropriate.

Service Dept: The welcome was not there at all. Complete lack of enthusiasm. I spent $100k on my Corvette which I brought in for the 500 mile service and was not treated like a special customer who had just spent $100k ($104k to be exact) with Boardwalk. Once the service was completed, the car was given back to me without resetting the oil change gauge back to 100%. I had to ask this to be done and they once again took the car away and returned back once this was done. It leads me to believe what else was not done properly or even at all. I have serious doubts about returning back to Boardwalk for any services to my vehicle.Sales when I purchased receives a 5 out of 5. Service was excellent. They answered all my questions and helped me select the correct package for my Corvette Z06 which I intended to drive daily.

I dont have much to say on the dealership itself (Nissan) but the Service Center is horrible. You DO NOT have to go there to get your car serviced (can go to Sunnyvale). I came two times, and both times I was told it will take two hours it took the entire day. Or the guy who was supposed to pick us up never came. Look at the official Nissan website (you can live chat there) and check the quotes Boardwalk Service gives you, so they dont overcharge you with useless maintenance.Oh, and they also forgot to mention a mandatory recall from Nissan for which I should have brought my car. Not a happy customer. They are friendly but quite inefficient, at least from my unlucky experience.
