I have had both of my cars serviced at Boardwalk Nissan since 2017, and would rate their service a step beyond excellent. The service manager, Jason Manown, treats his customers with friendly respect and considers their driving needs when scheduling maintenance for their vehicles. Each time I leave the shop, I feel like I’m driving a new car. I very highly recommend Boardwalk Nissan.

Brought my car to have aTensioner fixed they said I need a new battery and a new alternator witch were new are ready. So they put a new alternator on it and that didn’t work and still didn’t have power so then they figured out the tensioner didn’t work. Tech didn’t know what was wrong with the car in the first place that’s the problem I have.

I took my 2018 Altima in for routine service, I was amazed how professional the staff was at the desk. I really felt at ease listening to them breakdown the charges. I price shopped them and had seen they were very competitive. I am thankful I found my car a home. Thank you Jason.

I took my car here since my car dash shows I-KEY system error(My keys are not from Nissan, which can be obviously and easily distinguished through the appearances of the keys: no Nissan printed on it and has an extra button on it compared to the original keys). I told them that I-KEY SYSTEM ERROR and wanted to get it fixed. They then just asked me to leave keys in the car and drove it away. I asked how much it’ll cost to get it FIXED. They told me $180 and rushed me to sign on a paper and drove my car away even before I had time to read them carefully. 1 hour Later, the guy told me he couldnt get it fixed since my keys are wrong and not from NISSAN(I knew it and thats why I came here). He still charged me $180 for his diagnostic! I was forced to pay $180 for nothing otherwise they wouldnt give my car back. Besides, he would charge me another $200 for purchasing two new keys and $180 for re-programming if I want to buy new keys. In total, I need to spend $600 to get two new keys, which is ridiculous. Then I contacted their manager several times but always got no response. I left voice messages and they didn’t get back to me at all. They are just doing fraud business. Besides, they over-charged other services too. Will NEVER NEVER come back again. Terrible experience! Do NOT come here!

I brought my car in because I had a light on Service Engine soon. When I bring it in they announce $250 just for the diagnostic! I know that some other Nissan dealers do it for free. The vendor made me feel rushed and I left the car with them at 8:30 am. He told me they would have the diagnostic at 2 pm. Then I received a call at 9:30 am telling me that my battery was failing and therefore the diagnostic could not be done. Why didnt they plus a booster on it to perform the diagnostic? I didnt even had time to think about it the vendor wanted to sell me a new battery. Since I had bought the battery at Autozone less than 6 month before I told them to give me the battery that I would take myself to Autozone to get it checked. When I arrived the vendor told me that I had to take the whole car (which he had not told me on the phone) and to pay $125 (helf of the diagnostic cost for now! Now I have 2 cars with me and I paid $125 for nothing. I felt rushed again to make a decision. When I took my car to Autozone, not only they checked and changed my battery for free but they pointed out what might be the cause for battery drain, they did a diagnostic for free and sold to me the failing sensor for $50. I swapped the sensor myself in 30 minutes. Done.Dont go to Nissan Boardwalk, they are so many cheaper and nicer options.

Update on my original review:The Service Manager called me after posting the review and left a voicemail saying he was away for the previous 2 weeks while the car was there. He said they are charging me $100 storage fee starting yesterday and that I either pay them the amount they demand and take the car or face paying a daily $100 fee. I was forced to pickup the car in a rush and pay their fee. The technician left a message saying that they performed a 30,000 mile service on the card and thats why they charged $570. I never authorized a 30,000 mile service! The car has just over 20,000 miles.BCI MALFUNCTION message was NOT resolved. When I turned on the car the next morning it was back and is still preventing me from starting the car. When I dropped off the car, it was after hours. When I picked it up two weeks later (due to delays caused by the service department, not by me, as detailed in my original review below), I realized what a tiny shop they have over there. Also, the only people there were the service manager hiding in his cubicle and the technician. This is by far the worst car service experience I have ever had and I strongly recommend everyone to AVOID AVOID AVOID this FRAUDULENT place.I just saw that they submitted a response to my original review, saying that their service manager took care of it. The above described how he took care of it... he took care of alright...Below is my original review:Do not take your car to Boardwalk Nissan. I dropped off the car more than 1 1/2 weeks ago after having BCI MALFUNCTION message on my dashboard for a week. Service tech called and said $250 to diagnose this and $550 for 15,000 mile service. Told him I had an extended warranty and called him back the next day and left him voicemail message with Fidelity warranty number and my phone number. Several days and he hasnt called backed, so I called and hes not there I was transferred to the service manager voicemail and left him a message again with my cell phone number and requested call back . Several days and no one calls me. I called and spoke to the same tech - he says he had my phone number wrong, says he didnt find any problem and never saw BCI MALFUNCTION, never got my Fidelity warranty number and still charged me $250. In addition, turns out that what he calls 15,000 mile maintenance is less than half of the items of what another nearby dealership includes for $450 or whats in the maintenance book. He didnt even replace the wiper blades... saying theyre fine, theyre not . He then said talk to service manager and hung up on. Calling Nissan USA to file a fraud complaint.

Service department has astronomical pricing (e.g., $250 just to read a few OBD codes), look elsewhere if you can.
