These guys are great, I have been going to them for two years now, never disappointed. Today I heard some rather strange brake noises. I called and told to bring it right over . Brake pads were gone, they did a great brake job, in no time at all.what I have found over the last two years, as I tried to add modifications, is that they will help you thru every thing and let you know when you don’t. They have guided me thru the transition.I recommend them to my friends, and also to you.

Summit 4x4 has done two jobs for me. They put on the fenders and my skid plate. I have went there on several occasions for questions and they have always delivered.My first oppression of them is when I got my soft top. I was missing a few screws order them online (quadratec)and not all of them came in. I went to them to see if they had any and they gave them to me for free as long as I rock there sticker. I have been going to them ever since.I would recommend them, if you have questions about products they can tell you if they ran into problems or suggestions on what you can put on your jeep. Good people, go talk to them.P. S. I been wanting the coffee mugs they have there forever... But I can never get it because I always spend all my money on jeep parts

I brought my 2008 Toyota 4Runner in to replace the cheap plastic leveling kit with a proper lift kit. The previous owner did not properly lift the vehicle and it severely affected the driveability. The shop communication was excellent. Their service was timely and my 4Runner finally drives the way it should have all along. They will have my business for every lifted vehicle from here on out. I just got my Jeep Wrangler JL in November so weve started doing a few things. I just recently had my Spider shade installed and am really happy! Even before I had this vehicle, Summit was always helpful with questions I had pertaining to others and the purchase of other Jeeps. There was definitely a need for this type of establishment. They lead with integrity, knowledge and really great customer service.

I have a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and upgraded to a slightly larger tire size. I purchased the tires from Summit 4X4 Company located in Prescott. Summit is an amazing place, I was referred by my friend J.d. C. and I was impressed from the start. I emailed Summit and Ashley responded within a couple hours and had me booked within 48 hours. She really knows her stuff, Jessie gave me a tour and showed me the ropes of Jeep articulation while Ryan worked on making sure my wrangler was given the TLC It needed. They kept me filled in every step of the way and made sure I would be leaving safe in my Jeep. These guys are hands down # 1. I will be recommending them to everyone I know! I want to start by saying, summit has made a customer for life in me. Should I move away, summit will still be my go to shop. Whenever I’ve ordered parts from summit, or just simply had questions, I’ve gotten great service no matter who was on the other line. Over the past year I’ve worked with Mark to workshop storage solutions and the next steps of my build. Throughout the process I’ve gotten great insight, and help from him and the rest of the summit team. When I have money to burn, summit is the place to do it!

I bought an old crawler jeep, decent shape but needed some work to be fully road-safe, loose steering, missing e-brake cable, thta kind of stuff. Nothing I couldnt fix myself but I was dealing with a difficult move to a new home and new job situation and just didnt want to have to deal with it at the time. Brought it to Summit to get it inspected and get a quote on everything it needed and expressed that Id likely decide to take care of some of the issues myself depending on their prices. They failed to catch some basic things that werent working like the horn and blinkers but this is an off-roading garage so I gave them a pass on that stuff, they said Id get emailed a quote in a few days. A week later, no quote, I ask them about it, they say Ill get it soon, I continue waiting. Over two weeks later, no quote, I remind them, they apologize, say Ill get it soon, meanwhile I still havent fixed anything because I was waiting on their quote to determine what projects I was willing to take on, oh well eh?, times are tough, I understand. Over a month later, still no quote, I remind them, they say Ill get it that night, I did. It was missing the most important thing I needed done which was a custom length e-brake cable to accomodate taller suspension; the one thing I personally didnt know how to do. What they did have on the quote were part prices that were criminally inflated. A common steering gearbox found new online for under $400 and for $700 at autzone was quoted by Summit at $1036, a $95 brake booster was listed at $195, and an $80 brake master cylinder was listed at $137. They even quoted using Dot 4 brake fluid. For an 83 Jeep? Why would they use anything better than Dot 3 other than to jack the price up even more? I emailed them back the quote as well as screen caps of the prices I found elsewhere and asked them to explain. They said their prices are determined by the manufacturers. If you say your manufacturer mandated prices for parts are higher than what I can buy them for at a run-of-the-mill auto parts store youre either lying through your teeth or an utterly incompetent business-person. They quoted me $2100 after a 5 week delay, I did the work, including the stuff they forgot to even check or quote, for $600, in a day. By the way that quote wasnt free, it cost $150 to have my time wasted. Never, ever, trust a mechanic, learn to do it yourself; youll be saner and wealthier in the long run. Yikes.

Summit 4X4 has done a lot of work for me on my Wrangler JL. I was new to off-roading and they were very helpful to work with me to get my Jeep to the level of tires, lift etc. that would align with my level of off road comfort at a price I could afford. Each time I go out on the trails it seems I grow a little more comfortable and come back and add a little additional capability that they help me with. Jessie, Colton and Mark are all great guys and very trustworthy, and as a result my go-to place. The one time I had an issue they fixed it no questions asked. Great shop for Jeep and Toyota as well.

I had Summit 4x4 set up my 2000 Jeep TJ for flat towing. Mark, Bob and Chris gave me great information and showed how to properly get the Jeep hooked up to tow. The braking system worked very well, despite the heavy traffic on the ride home, due to serious traffic diversions from accidents on the highway. The TJ tracked well behind my Sprinter based R.V. This was my first experience with flat towing a vehicle. I would not hesitate using or recommending Summit 4x4 for any needs on towing or off road setups.

Great company with an excellent staff.I was having issues with my vehicle making a clunking sound. I had been unable to locate the source of the sound and had taken it to two other shops who could not locate the source.I called Summit and spoke with Mark. Mark asked if I could bring by the vehicle for a quick diagnosis and he could book an appointment in a few days if repairs were needed. My wife took our vehicle in and Mark located the source of the noise within 30 seconds.The bolts to my sway bar bushing mount were loose. Mark tightened them up and it seems to have fixed the problem I have been dealing with for a few months. Something so simple but everyone else missed it.I will definately be using this company again for my off road needs and repairs.

We needed a ladder rack installed for a company vehicle. Summit was able to take the request and get us back on the road quickly. They even answered questions we had after we got the vehicle back. Would definitely recommend them!

Ive seen some of the insane stuff these guys build and thats what drew me to them (that, and when I met Jessie the owner I knew I was at the right place). Had them install a BDS 4.5 lift on my Silverado as well as replace my front axles. Beyond happy with their knowledge/customer service/attention to detail. Fast forward three months and after beating the snot out of my truck, went back for a problem that I didnt think was mine, and they handled my ignorance with kid gloves. Honestly, great people worth your time!

All the employees are extremely nice and ready to help. They have amazing customer service and a good family environment for off-road enthusiast of all kinds. Plus a lot of them have 4runners so even better! If you are new and have questions they are willing to help and share personal experiences, and for the more experienced they are happy to exchange stories. I had an issue with a company’s product they stock in shop and they swapped it out for a new one no questions asked.

It is not all that difficult for a business to present a good appearance when everything goes right; I believe that a business shows its true nature when things go wrong, specifically in how it handles a difficult situation. Earlier this week, Summit 4x4 had an opportunity to demonstrate its commitment to customer service under less-than-ideal circumstances, and it did so in a very professional way.I have taken my modified Rubicon Unlimited to Summit for routine servicing and some aftermarket component installation since I retired here, and they have always done excellent work. This week, I had an appointment for an oil change, 5-tire rotation, and balancing. Unfortunately, an error on their part resulted in some damage to my Jeep. This error was certainly not the type which indicates lack of competence; rather, it was a simple mistake of the type even the most skilled and conscientious of us can make. Even the most professional of us is, after all, human.In today’s overly litigious society, it is far too common for a business’s first thought to be of avoiding liability. Too many businesses will refuse to acknowledge fault, for fear that doing so will expose them to risk of litigation. They will offer some token recompense and will admit nothing. Summit, on the other hand, met a much higher standard and acted with honor and integrity. The owner came out to speak to me, then led me back to the maintenance bay so that I could see for myself what had happened. The technician claimed full responsibility, and both he and the owner offered their sincere apologies and their assurance that they would make everything right.Summit provided transportation for me, and said that they would work hard to fix the problem by the next day. Not only did they do as promised, they refused to charge me for the original work and threw in new brake pads when they noticed mine were worn. When I picked my vehicle up the next day, there was absolutely no indication that it had ever been damaged. The owner refused to accept a single penny from me. Their response to a simple error was extraordinarily generous, and raised the level of trust I continue to have in their work. It is refreshing to see this type of old-fashioned honesty and commitment to customer satisfaction.I will continue to trust my off-road beast to Summit 4x4, and I recommend them without hesitation.

I first visited Summit when they first started. Jessie and Jason were running a fantastic show. 4 Years later, brother Colton is running the show. Multi visits, multiple wrong parts ordered, promises of expedite service and expedite parts ordering, multiple trips with my motor home ALL FAILED. The worst part is on a promise of special service because of Colton ordering the wrong parts - I sat in front of the shop for 4 1/2 hours for a 1 hour job that was still wrong. Further injury, I found out Colton ordered a Blue Ox base plate from Blue Ox at $532. Same base plate at NSA for $450. Jason is a fantastic tech!! In this case Colton failed. Ill be looking for a different shop to give my money.

Summit 4x4 is my go to place for my Jeep work and they just pulled off a “Christmas miracle” for me when another reseller let me down. I had ordered a set of dark grey Maxtrax from an off-road accessories business to give as a gift to my Godson this Christmas and when I found out that they would not be drop shipped in time to Salt Lake City, I called Summit on the chance they had a set in the new Adventure Center and although they had six or seven other colors, they did not have the dark grey...IN THE STORE!One phone call later (and healthy dose of Jimmy Buffet lobby music) and they had the Maxtrax brought to the store and in my hands in less than 15 minutes...! OUTSTANDING! Now to get my Jeep in there for some much needed work.Thank you so much to Colton and Jesse and all the folks at Summit 4x4 for going the extra mile...even on the little stuff. I recently had a little mishap with my 2007 jeep wrangler hood. Saw this ad on Craigslist about factory hoods installed $140.00. I thought too good to be true. So I called and spoke with Colton. He assured me that the price was real. So I explained I was coming from Fountain Hills, 2 hours away and weekdays would be hard to schedule. He accommodated me. YES HE ACCOMMODATED ME!!!!! We scheduled for Sunday at 1pm. Normally they are closed. I arrived at 1230ish. Jesse and his wife Kelly were waiting. Jesse explained what he would do for me regarding the hood. I mentioned my muffler and a funny rattle that Ive had for years. In the car not me. Jesse put my jeep up on the rack and showed me what the rattle was right away. Then he looked at my muffle and said he usually doesnt do muffles but as long as the bolts werent rusted he would give it a shot. He did a great job promoting other products that didnt include inflated labor charges. So we agreed on the hood and a new muffler. Here is the icing on the cake. Kelly, Jesses wife offered to drive us downtown to kill the time it would take for the repairs. She chauffeured us around Prescott when she didnt have to. She even picked us up when Jesse was done. The total cost was $300.00. Yes 300 bucks.You rarely come across people like these. I will be back. Im already rebuilding my jeep as I write this. Thank you Jesse, Kelly and Colton.
