Members are nice, but store is a mess. Things are not in stock. Very disorganized.

Not the best FD around. This store is dirty and the aisles are always packed with U-boats to the point that you can barely fit thru the store. The one further up Main St is better.

Prices are decent on some things. The store upkeep could be better.

Confusing store layout nothing labeled and if it is then its wrong.

Often merchandise is just left in aisles for a couple days which makes it very difficult to navigate especially with a shopping cart. They often advertise certain merchandise but when you go to buy it you are told that they dont have what you want. Managers will tell you when the merchandise is coming in and when it will be available but when you come back in store on the day they told you they still dont have what you want. The store is definitely understocked. Shoppers are supposed to wear masks but many times they dont and employees will not usually enforce this store rule. Their selection of food including frozen foods has gone downhill within the past year. The prices though have been going up and especially on dairy like milk, hot dogs and eggs. The aisles are too crowded with merchandise and many times inventory is thrown around and messy. Boxes are everywhere. So it can be chaotic and time consuming to shop there. It is often dirty with the floors needing to swept through and kept clean. In the winter time the floor at the entrancenear the doors and cash registers is usually muddy and dirty and slippery! Their answer is to put cardboard down on the floor without mopping up. Well on snowy days this cardboard itself does nothing to stop customers from slipping and sliding on the floor. They never have enough cash registers open let alone all of them. Mega time is spent waiting on lines to pay. Customers get real angry waiting on these lines and there can be a lot of tension.Not a friendly atmosphere at all. Finally the employees and store managers are often rude and not helpful to customers. Poughkeepsie has no grocery store within city limits. You have to go to Rt 44 Plaza StopnShop or south to Rt 9 shopping plazas or north up in Hyde Park. This Family Dollar is an inner city store that should be an asset to the Poughkeepsie community and residents. But instead it is overpriced, dirty, crowded, understocked and a general unpleasant experience.

Get what you want and dont except nothing special. If you need bread or chip or soda, its a decent store. Except to spend about 10 minutes finding these items and waiting 5 for the cashier or the line to go down.

A little disappointed that people are hanging in front of the store begging for money and have no masks on. Also a few customers were not wearing masks either

This place is dirty, rat Infested, smelly, and always crowded with boxes in the aisle. Clothes are everywhere. Items are improperly place on shelves so when you think an item is one price its actually another. I do not recommend that you buy food from here. Most products in the coolers are outdated. They do not rotate stock. Management is a joke and extremely lazy. Youre better off shopping anywhere else.

Cant get down aisles, either boxes stacked,or pallets inboxes blocking off the aisles.& noone is stocking the shelves They should be stocking shelves when theyre are no customers - after hours. Thereis never enough staff, always long lines @ checkout

Ghetto, run down stores. Customer service is always slow and VERY poor. If you go top this store expect to wait in am extremely long line.

Always 1 cashier a long ass line never got change and a bunch of other retired addicts pretending to be busy doing nothing
