My wife an I traveled to most of the major dealerships near Spokane and we wish we had started here. We didn’t feel pressured and Tyler, our salesman, was very knowledgeable and knew all of the numbers for each vehicle, including tow capabilities, miles, and features. He educated us without making us feel like incompetent car buyers. Even after we signed the paperwork and he made the sale he continued to answer questions days later without discarding us. We felt so comfortable there and we will definitely be going back.

My first truck buying experience was awesome! Easy to deal with. Friendly people and real talk about financing and the Mumbo Jumbo. I was referred by a friend. I do believe the referral bonus should be more than 100 dollars on a 40k Rig tho. Dealer made 9k. But overall, it was easy, quick and I was happy with the experience. Accessories are WAY overpriced. But that comes with the territory I guess.

Our Knudtsen Chevrolet salesperson treated us with respect through the whole process - invested his time and energy, and focused his attention on us, even though at times, we perhaps asked too many questions about off-topic issues, and diverted our attention across a broad spectrum of vehicles as we examined the inventory. Initially, after assessing our vehicle needs, he recommended an Equinox. But exhibiting great patience, and not pressuring us, he allowed us to explore additional vehicles that we subsequently concluded were too big for what we wanted, too small, too expensive, too old, wrong drive trains, wrong color, too tall, or too low to the ground. In the end, we selected a silver, 2022 Chevrolet Equinox with AWD (the one he initially showed us) as the perfect fit for us. Thank you, Knudtsen Chevrolet!

Let me start by saying the sales department at Knudtsen is amazing! The service department however needs some major improvement. I keep coming back because I have the maintenance plan but I dread it everytime. Candy is very unfriendly and no one here has any type of customer service experience it seems. Im sitting here now at 8:45 waiting for my oil change that was scheduled for 7:30. Whats the point of scheduling an appointment? Its really disappointing since Ive been a loyal customer for the last decade.

I recently purchased a used 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 from Jack. He is by far the best salesman I’ve met, and I sold cars myself for 2 years! He’s an honest and truly helpful salesman who is genuinely trying his best to put YOU first, before the sale. Took new truck in for oil change. Got voice message saying oil pan needed replaced and lots of β€œbarn” fixes. Tried to call back tech and was not available so left message to go ahead and make repairs and inquired about anything else. Did not receive reply so called back next day and not available. Assume would get call back and/or repairs would be made. Waited a week and went in to find order as cancelled and keys could not be located. Said would just go somewhere else and offered 10% discount so gave go ahead. Several more days passed and called back to hear parts were not ordered and to call back next week. Called back next week and was told still not ordered. Received call next day from Candy next day to hear parts there but waiting on bolts. Heard back next week to hear would be done Weds. Got call Thursday saying was done. went to pick up Friday and didn’t initially get discount and was told truck was around to the left or around back. walked around cars to left and back twice and entire building before finding car to the east of service building with new trucks. This was my first and last experience with Knudsen.

My husband and I bought his truck back in April and it was a great buying experience. We purchased a plan that included 3 oil changes so we are here at the dealership getting the first oil change done. We had an appointment at 11:30 and were told it would be about 2.5 hours before it was done. We were caught off guard that it would take that long considering we had an appointment. We now just finished here after waiting 3.5 hours. My husband works nights so having to wait this long for an oil change was ridiculous! Again, great buying experience (I think the buying experience was faster than the oil change appointment) but the service department was struggling. My father also had an extremely long wait time when he brought his car here for an oil change.

1 month ago I would have recommended Post Falls Knudtsen to someone buying a car. As of today, I would not. We’ve bought our car here and serviced it over the years. We brought our car in on Aug. 4th with some issues we had been noticing and a recent battery problem. After being told the car would be finished Tuesday the 17th at the latest Wednesday, it was not. Called again Wednesday, told us it would for sure be done Thursday. Not done Thursday. Told it would be done for sure Friday by 12. My husband called to check at 12 and someone told him it was ready so I go to pick it up at 1:45. I get there and I’m told another hour. When we finally can pick it up at 3, none of the controls on the center control work. We were quoted a lower price than what we had to pay AND it is basically more broken than when it was dropped off. I will never take my car here again to be worked on and never plan on buying a vehicle from Knudtsen again. I expect them to fix the screen for no charge but I doubt that will happen. The whole situation has made me extremely upset. Disappointed Knudtsen.

Had body work done with knudsten I pick my car up to no coolant in it they blame it on a air bubble so I had to take it else where to get fully looked over. They did not get parts for my headlight installed so they make a appointment to get my headlights programmed. Don was sure to get this fixed correctly. After it was at Audi for awhile I talked to Jesse the regional manager who would never call me back. Been weeks of trying to talk to eve to get this all figured out and now I get a $6000 bill as you guys only sent it as a β€œcourtesy” to fix what you guys broke.

It took 60 days to repair the transmission on my 2021 Chevrolet Silverado. During that time there was little to no communication from the service department. I picked my truck up last week and almost immediately I started having issues with the transmission. The engine does not shift properly and jerks forward once it does shift. The transmission continually smells hot and the transmission fluid temperature routinely reaches 216 degrees after several minutes of routine operation. On occasion, the transmission fluid temperature has reached 226 degrees. The engine sounds rough and I does not seem like the same truck I bought in May.Unfortunately, during the 60 days Knudsten had my truck, there were items stolen from the interior and exterior of my vehicle. This includes a Chicago Bears hitch cover, a pair of Apple AirPods from the console and a plastic case containing my vehicle registration and insurance card.

First day I hade the truck the radiator cap wasnt on when I left the dealership. But I guess thats my fault right. Great place but dont talk to nick or Leon. They were rude and not helpful. Once he had the truck sold, he pretty much didnt care anymore. When I had problems with the random key fob he gave me that wasnt even for my truck. Then he told me to program it myself and I cant do anything else for me. Everyone else is super helpful and very nice. I would recommend this dealership but just make sure you dont talk to either one of these guys.

Knudtsen really deserves 0 stars. Since we drove off the lot with our new vehicle we have had nothing but problems with the finance department, and now are having mechanical issues with an expensive, brand new car. The service department is completely incompetent, and after three days of having our vehicle can find nothing wrong. After reading multiple reviews we decided to call the General Manager, Joe Morris. Obviously his responses on Google are all canned responses. When speaking with Joe about our complaints over the last two months we were told, β€œWell, we are 6th generation owners and have repeat customers,” and to the complaint about our coolant smell and possible lifter issue in a brand new vehicle, β€œI just bought my wife a 2021 and had to replace all the lifters in hers.” These are not statements you make when you are in the customer service industry. I am appalled by the rude, inept staff at Knudtsen, and will not return. All of our warranty work will be done elsewhere. Especially since unlike the service department says, the transmission is not okay. If you are not a repeat customer, don’t bother buying from Knudtsen, and definitely do not use the service department!

I purchased a certified used 2013 Chevy Duramax off of the lot with 90k miles on it. Drove the truck for a few days and a check engine light comes on AFTER they ran it through a diagnostics check, before I took it home. Check engine light was taken care of and then a few days later ANOTHER check engine light comes on. This one was taken care of as well. Just a few days later, another check engine light comes on. I took my truck into the service department to which they told me β€œyou’ve only had this truck for a few days, we will take care of anything wrong with it.” The truck sat for 3 weeks before finally being diagnosed with a bad turbo (not cheap). During this 3 weeks, I never received a single update on the condition of my truck. I then get a call approximately 4.5 weeks into them having my truck (truck just sat on the lot), saying that I need to pay 5k to replace the turbo. I made 3 truck payments while my truck was in the shop and I have barely driven it. I finally made the decision to take my truck back and go somewhere else as any other shop averaged about 2k cheaper.I would not recommend this dealership to any person who is looking at buying a new or used car as their customer service is garbage. I don’t know how this dealership gets away with this type of stuff for so long. I guarantee I am not the only who had an experience like this.

As a first time car buyer at 18 years old trying to find my next car and build some credit to start my life, this is not the place I would ever recommend. I drove an hour to look at the car I wanted, test drove it, and then when I went to put a big down payment on the vehicle it was taken out from under my nose from the owner of the company and sold to another person. The owner is the perfect example of the iconic evil car salesman that everyone tries to avoid in the stress of car shopping. Being so young, you would think that the company would try to make this a wonderful experience for me, in hope that I will buy again and go far in my life along with helping their company. You are promised a free car wash as long as you own the vehicle. However they don’t tell you that does not apply to pickups as they don’t fit in their car wash. Even when asked for during a service visit they would not wash it with not even a β€œsorry”! Two and a half hours for a half hour service! And then the guy reset the oil life monitor even though he did not change the oil. I may just find a closer place for service.

Wrong Diagnosis. After scheduling my 2011 Silverado, I mentioned my last mechanic had troubles diagnosing the trailer brake problem. My info was discarded, the service dept. diagnosed the trailer brake relay to be not working. $260.00 fix. Later I received a call stating the relay was NOT the problem, and they wanted authority to move forward with diagnosis, going deeper in my pockets. In my opinion the relay was a SMYPTOM of the problem. OWNER ERIC KNUDTSEN disagreed, and backed the techs play. GO figure

Having 25 years in the auto repair business and 4 years in new car sales I have a educated perspective on how things work in a dealership. I have not purchased from Knudtsen before and I did due to talking to past and present employees all saying the best compliments. Todd Olsen is the gentelman I worked with in sales, the service and knowledge he provided was an unexpected delight. It took a few short hours to buy my truck which was not in stock. Due to COVID it took a month to the day to get it on a train from GMs MO plant to Spokane and then the dealer. The original estimate was eight days but we must be patient during these times. Todd followed up with the factory every few days even when there was no movement or ETA just to let me know its current status. This was a time consuming process for him but he faithfully stayed on top of it. I paid in full for the truck the day I commited to buying. One financial aspect of the deal had to be altered upon delivery and there was absolutely no issue getting a check cut for what was already a done deal and it cost them a small amount of profit as well. If you want a GM product you need to see Todd Olsen at Knudtsen Chevrolet. I love my new Colorado.

They took care of us on a used vehicle they sold us by replacing all four tires at no cost. The previous owner had used fix a flat to hide a leaking tire. My only issue was their finance guy relentlessly pushing an extended warranty. Said we would get our money back in free service. Extended warranties are a money maker, most people do not in fact get their money back. It was if he was saying Chevy makes an inferior product so you need this warranty. Would not drop it and move on. Nevermind my last 3 Fords brand new all passed 70k miles with zero warranty work done.

Would not recommend using their service department. I have no experience with their sales team or purchasing a vehicle from them, only for servicing vehicles. The amount of ineptitude just to schedule and complete simple procedures such as an oil change is insane.They constantly mix us up in their system with people with similar names. This means things like correspondence and adding information to their system would seemingly randomly be given to someone else entirely with a similar name, despite that person not owning a vehicle similar to ours or even living in the same city. This has happened to us in one way or another in every appointment we have ever made with Knudtsen over the course of the last few years. Every single one.For our last appointment, we scheduled an oil change a full week in advance. We did this because a couple days after the scheduled oil change we were leaving on a long trip. The appt was scheduled at around 7 or 8 am. The night before the appointment, we received a text and email simply stating that the appointment had been canceled. No reason was given as to why. Again, we had scheduled this a full week in advance and the NIGHT BEFORE AN EARLY MORNING APPT it was canceled without warning and without reason the night before. We immediately call them since they were almost closing at the time we got the email, and the receptionist has no information for us, gives awkward made-up-sounding excuses, and finally transfers us to the service dept who does not pick up the phone. So we leave a voicemail explaining the situation and asking them to please call us back. The next morning at around 7am, we get a call back from the service dept, who then blames over booking as why we were randomly cancelled on (which also seems a bit shaky - remember that we scheduled this a full week in advance and it is a simple oil change), he then says maybe we can get us in next week, to which we explain were leaving in a day or two for a trip which is why we needed this done in the first place. He finally relents and says Just bring it in and Ill find a way to do it today. Ok, great. So we bring it in and wait for a call. We never get a call. We wait until they are almost closing and call asking if the oil change is done. This individual gives us a LOT of attitude and since they are closing soon wants us to pay over the phone, which we do, he then says he will leave the car outside with the keys under the mat since he is closing the service dept. Ok, fine. We Uber out there and are able to finally retrieve the car. Woo, finally done with this, right? Nope, we get a call later that night from a flustered individual asking us if we own [our car make/model], to which we say yes. She audibly exhales a sigh of releif, as apparently they are still having issues finding the correct account to add information to despite us being a customer for many years. She then explains that, yet again, it looks like many call backs and other information may have been added to someone elses account in their system instead of ours (Surprise!). We, for probably at least the tenth time over the last few years, clearly state all of our information over the phone again and politely ask that notes be added to the system or something be done to stop the mix ups.Maybe the only way to make sure this stops happening is to just go somewhere else.

I first want to say this review is only for the service center. My husband had a 9 am appointment to get my mirror that was under warranty fixed. The appointment was made 2 weeks prior. ( this was the first available.) my husband arrived on time to the appointment and was told they only had one diagnostician in for the day and that it would be a β€œlittle bit.”At 11:00 the receptionist told my husband that the diagnostician had not gotten to it yet, but that he β€œwas next.”At 12:00 my truck still sat in the parking lot untouched. My husband asked about a loaner since he needed to get our children from school and was told there were none available.At 1:30 my husband had to ask for his keys back to leave. The vehicle still had not been touched by the techs. We drive 2.5 hrs to get warranty work Complete and sit for 4.5 hrs to get NOTHING done.If we choose to still have the work done, we will have to wait an additional 2-3 weeks for another appointment that we may or may not actually get our car diagnosed. Then, if the diagnosis is complete another 2-4 weeks for parts. Then another whole day to get a darn mirror fixed. Each time driving 2.5 hrs each way. Seriously... I love the sales floor, but would be hard pressed to buy another vehicle here due to their service department!

Bought a certified used car. The deal went well. Few days later a crack in the windshield failed and spidered on me. They tried to give me the run around on getting it fixed but nonetheless I persisted and it was fixed without charge. Now to our first service, the certified used car had a bad cabin air filter (possibly when sold) and I bought one at Napa for 17$ because the dealer sells them for $50. Nobody told me upon check in that it would be a 5 dollar charge for putting it even though they are pulling the old one out to inspect. 77$ for an oil change and tire rotation is overpriced, Mike White does it for 20 less and you get a car wash. Not to mention 2 hours for service is quite slow. Overall terrible customer service. Going to a dealership to get nickel and dimed isn’t what I’m looking for.

Everyone was super friendly and Dan the finace man was super helpful and full of grrrrrrreat information. My wife and I truly appreciate our experience there. Our salesman was super helpful as well he even waited outside the vehicle for 20 minutes while we finished up our onstar setup. I believe he even missed another sale opportunity which just proves his dedication to the customer experience.

First I made an appointment one week in advance . I droped the truck off a day early. I recieved an estimate for 71.97 + tax . The engine check lite was on, they said it would be looked at power train warrenty.I got a call it needed a glow plug again. I oked the repair, it then took 3 more days. I go in to pick up the truck and get a bill for 97. 18 . I also had a !0.00 off coupon and was expecting a bill for about 61.97. This was very slow service,The service adviser blamed the mechanic not wanting to work on it. She made it sound like he is overwhelmed with work. It sounds like you need another diesel mechanic. I am not happy with the overcharge or the extra time to repair the truck. Paul Murray
