This store was clean and organized. It was easy to find what I was looking for. The staff was polite and very helpful. They have the best beads, all different colors and types. Great to make jewelry out of. The prices on these items are good but the best thing about this store is the clearance. Check it out. They also offer free classes like learning how to sew to tye dying clothes to making knick knacks.

I went to get crayons, drawing paper, and sidewalk chalk for my daughter. Michael’s never disappoints and unlike one of the others I go to on occasion. This Michael’s had no line and I was able to check out immediately! It was a pit stop on my way home! Perfect timing!

I like to fink craft projects for me my 5 yr old grandson to do. I am soooooo disappointed that Michaels stop offering beautiful floral arrangements. I use to purchase one or two every year to add to my holiday collection.

I purchased bulk canvases online for store pick up. This was my first time ordering online for store pick up. Online said nothing about time or restrictions. I was in that area and decided to stop in and pick my order. I went to the front and the cashier pointed me to stand in the area to wait for someone to help me. So i went to wait when this blond lady came up annoyed and rude. She had no courtesy towards me the customer. She started off with an attitude saying that after five they do not do the online orders. Online said nothing about this and the lady at the register didn’t address this either. She could have said it more politely and not as aggressive. I was confused and thrown off at how rude she was. I even volunteered to grab the canvases myself but she did not care and walked over to grab the product from the entrance. She threw my canvases that I already paid for on the small counter and left to get the print out. She came back with the print out and did not offer a bag or any courtesy at all. This was the worst customer service i have ever received!! Not only was this so bad I found out she is the manager!! I was so upset about this experience i will no longer come to this location!! Go to a Joann store at this rate!

I have bought sooo much stuff for my wedding from this store. Three of those items being frames. These 12x18 inch frames are so damn cheap they have broken each time I tried to place my photo inside. I called to asked them if I purchase two more if they can help me out the pictures in maybe I’m doing something wrong. They want to charge me $6.00 each frame to insert my photo…. Not giving me my money back for fault frames or just helping a customer who is going to spend another $40! I will never return to this location. Garbage framing associates!

Im so glad I found this location!! The selection is quite good, and the prices near the nearby other hubby store by a good margin. I was able to get several projects done from the things I found here, and at a reasonable price. Super helpful staff and well organized. Highly recommended.

The store is well lit, the ambient temp is cool without being chilly, there are a few sections that lacked selection, however overall the employees were helpful and knowledgeable without being overly so.

Ordered for online for a free in store pick up. It was fast and easy. I will be doing it that way again, real soon !

I almost never review chains, but Juan and Anastacia (apologies on the spelling) deserve a shout out! I first met Anastacia at the framing counter where they worked with me to find the best option— even though it wasn’t the most expensive. I could tell they cared more about me being happy than spending more money. That goes a long way with me! When I decided to buy the frames myself, Juan stepped in to help by explaining the sale, and even carried the heavy frames for me and checked me out to ensure the discounts were applied correctly. All the staff members i saw were polite and looked happy to be there. There’s a craft store closer to my home but I’ll be coming to this Michaels from now on!

I must have thought I was in Walmart. I came in and asked an employee where I could find spray glue. He pointed and said near the back. Walmart people are trained to take you the item, not just point.

I did a order and pick up and picked this store because it was on my way home from work. I had not received a notification that it was done and I stopped in on my way home to check on it. I did not realize that I needed to place my order by a certain time to have it done today. I placed my order around 5pm because I get off at 6pm and was in around 6:40. The lady who helped me was super nice and I mentioned I picked the store because it was on my way home. She informed me that the order wouldn’t be ready until tomorrow. I asked if I would be able to cancel the in store pick up and shop for the items I had selected and she offered to go ahead and fulfill the order. She was very nice and helpful l, I wish I would have gotten her name to give her kudos.

Over priced. Employees were more worried about making my friend and I into a statistic than a customer... Degrading to say the least. I would not recommend this craft store.

It seems that they are surviving covid-19 and lack of regular supply line due to the pandemic. I appreciate them so much.

I love Michaels but this location is always busy and they never have enough staff. Aside from people checking out, it would be GREATLY appreciated if you guys could hire 1-2 more staff members to be out on the floor at all times for customers who have questions while shopping. I waited in the long check out line just to ask a question because no one else was around. And then had to wait in it again when it came time to check out. 1-2 more staff would make it so much more convenient and quick for the customer. Thank you!

I love Michaels. I can always find what Im looking for and more. I find myself spending a lot of time in this store, just walking all the aisles and dreaming about what I could make and how I can add to the decor of different rooms of my house. The store is always clean and the staff is always friendly. I also really appreciate the coupons and clearance deals they have. This is one of my two best hobby and craft stores. Visited on Halloween night, about ninety minutes before closing. Store looked like a disaster area, I literally had to move carts of merchandise out of the way of blocked aisles just to get to the back of the store. Went to custom frame counter to replace a piece of glass in a frame we brought in to ensure it was measured correctly, but framer did not cut the correct size.

Best Go-To place in the Phoenix area. Perfect for those who usually dont drive all the way to some other areas in the state of Arizona itself.

I just had one of the most terrible customer service experiences at this store. The morbidly obese guy needs to take some classes on how to talk to customers. First he literally tried to put 40 lb worth of stuff in one small plastic bag. He couldnt get my rewards to work and he was getting very angry and taking it out on me. I had to end up not buying anything because it was so uncomfortable.

I took my granddaughter to get Happy Planner accessories. Wow, they have a lot of great crafting stuff for kids! Got to the checkout and a wonderful lady scanned a coupon for us and the price went from $213 to $165!! I 💜 Michaels!

Great art supply store. The only issue is the layout and their cashiers. The front door is just odd to me. Not that it affects their business just a observation. The cashiers, however are really slow. A line of 3 people easily turns into a line of 15. If they had faster systems or workers its be spot on.

Store was clean and tidy. Staff was polite and helpful. I rated my experience a 4 because I was looking for more of a novelty frame. I was looking for a raspberry color and or a frame with a floral pattern on it. In the end I was able to find something. However I wish there were more options for frames.

Great stock of basics for just about any arts & crafts supply.

They have a good selection and great staff thats always helpful but they dont always carry what I need, it seems a lot of it is crafting by numbers projects for kids which I definitely understand the importance of, but I dont want to have to go to a big box store for something like braided or corded elastic. Id love to see some more nuts and bolts basics.

The staff is extremely friendly, you get treated like the number one customer. The store had a great sale. Up to 70% off. You can walk inside and get lost with all the items that they have. It makes you want to buy everything. The stores layout was smart, every turn I took I saw at least one thing I wanted to buy. I also used the ladies room and it was clean. They had toilet paper and toilet sheet covers lets not forget the soap its important to have soap in the restroom.

Their prices are quite steep if the item/s you want arent on sale or you dont have a coupon. Dont buy things here unless one of those two criteria are met. Its a good spot for ideas. The service is generally disengaged but decent.

I have been visiting the Phoenix for business and wanted to get some unique stuff back home for my family and kids. My colleague recommended me to visit this store, and I must say it was great to be here. I never been to a craft store of such scale and I find many unique stuff to buy for the family.

Sometimes you just want something simple. Something like real picture hooks. Interesting enough so many places only offer the ahesive type. No go. Expensive, and do not work! I usually love to go to Michaels, but I was very disappointed this time! Id not been to this location before. The store was a mess, and while I know that it was a big sale week, the inventory was incredibly low. I left empty handed and I never leave Michaels empty handed! I probably will not visit this location again.

It is very important that you only come here when you have no other choice. Walking through Michaels is like going through some kind of twisted horror-themed ride, but here, instead of scary ghouls and ghosts, you find massacred trees, poster boards, and demented crayons all right next to each other. Trying to find something you need is impossible, because they contracted a 3rd grader to organize the store. Maybe you could ask one of the sales persons, but they are nowhere to be found.
