I have used Zakian Rug Cleaning many times in the past and have always been satisfied. I recently sent 9 rugs for cleaning and repair and just received them back. The fact that they pick up and delivery is a bonus!. I have not had the time to unwrap and inspect each of the rugs as of yet but I do expect to have the same result and satisfaction as I had in the past. From start to finish a very good experience. My very old, maybe 100 years, oriental carpet was picked as scheduled and returned as scheduled. Delivery men were polite and professional. Carpet had odors from my small dogs and I smell no hint of that anymore and it looks great! I’d use Zakian again and I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend.

I have several hand made carpet with beautiful fringe. This Kilim (purchased in Istanbul)had an interesting fringe (worn out). Now it had an ordinary fringe. Guess I’m being picky

My 25 year old rug looks like new, only better, thanks to a cleaning, the replacement of the binding and addition of the new style short fringe on both ends. I was skeptical of how it was going to turn out but I am here to tell you that they matched the color of the old binding exactly and the new ends look original to the rug. I had an oriental rug cleaned which had not been cleaned for years. It can back smelling awesome and the colors were all vibrant again. I also had some work done on the rug which had been my Mother’s so it is special to me. They fixed the area that was ripped took off the fringe which was worn out and did a binding on it. I just moved into a new house and my rug was a mess - my dog left multiple stains on the rug. Zakian picked up my rug within 3 days, returned it the following week and all the stains were gone. They pick up and drop off your rugs, and for two or more they do it free. Nice people. I have called with concerns and the office got me the right people to talk to. They know rugs and adjust the cleaning according to type of rug: they know what they’re doing. When one needed fixing they called and told me how much it would be so I could decide. They are not cheap but we have good rugs and those cleaning machines you can rent don’t do nearly as good a job.

Zakian Carpets is a wonderful company from the front end ( for me the associate who takes my carpet from my car) to the office personnel. Responsible, knowledgeable, efficient, pleasant and helpful are characteristics I have found in every visit. I usually have some carpet or oriental cleaned every year. Always a good job, on time. Cleaning and the occasional mend are the services I use, but there are others and pickup and delivery too. Not only were the seats on my dining room chairs done well, but also the oriental rugs. That was only part of the experience that was so positive. Every single worker that I talked to or came out from telephone to cleaner to pick up and delivery were the most professional people I have dealt with. When there was a slight mix-up the delivery men were capable at explaining the issue (both of our last names were similar and our rug numbers were identical except the last number which were 4 and 9.
