Biggest pet peeve is being followed around in a store. There was another white customer in the store at the same time but of course the white middle aged manager kept tailing my every move. I was looking at some shoes at the farthest (from the exit) area of the store and she comes up to me and asks if she can take my clothes up to the register. From reading some reviews this isn’t the first time this has happened. Higher management needs to step into this store and provide diversity training or coaching. Ridiculous.

One of the associates, middle aged white woman, followed me around the store the ENTIRE time. Never been more uncomfortable. I moved to different sections of the store on purpose to confirm my suspicions and sure enough she tailed my every move. Zero stars, never shop here.

Was trying to buy a mouth guard and told them that the child size was too small and the adult too large. I was specifically looking for the junior size. The sales person guaranteed that one marked 11+ adult they carry would fit even though i told them the adult ones i have tried did not fit. We purchased and of coarse it was way to big. Now they will not accept a return. My fault for not asking specifically what the guarantee was. Bad customer service.

No customer service. I bought a pair of shoes for my son using a 20% off coupon at noon. After school (3:30 p.m.) my son and I went in to upgrade the shoes (he didnt like the ones I picked out) I asked if I could get the 20% off the exchange and the manager said no. I upgraded the shoes and spent an additional $40 and she still wouldnt take the 20% off. Wont be back in there again. We cant wait for Academy to come to town.

Usually my last place to shop as far as sporting goods stores go because they have less selections, and are a bit more expensive. But, they usually have the styles the others dont...when it comes to shoes anyways. Always friendly staff.

They honestly dont even deserve 1 star!! I am disgusted by the way I have heard of their management personal treating a good person innocently coming in looking around trying on clothes and then next thing they know 3 cops standing outside their dressing room!! For what!!? I am so disturbed by the way they acted and I will say shame on you for the way you let people in management put a bad name out there in your reputation as a well run business would like to up and keep! My personal opinion is that I hope you are going to be held accountable for the situation!! I am miles away but believe that your staff over stepped a line..so disturbed by the way you let your establishment operate!!!!! SHAME ON YOU

My experience of this place includes a manager who racially profiled an innocent citizen, human being, who happened to be Native that was trying on clothes, which subsequently led to his arrest and trespassing charges. Many attempts were made to obtain some sort of response from this company regarding there disgusting actions, with no return calls. I will never step foot in this store again, and neither will anyone in my friends or family circles.

Hibbett Sports is an openly white supremacist store that calls the cops on people of color who want to shop there. They will subsequently falsely accuse you of violating some rule or procedure in order to justify their actions. Stay away at all costs.

Staff is seriously in need of diversity training. Are they unaware that summoning the police after profiling peaceful Native American customers is is a poor business model that can lead to humiliation and potentially catastrophic consequences for the individuals involved. The companys subsequent lack of communication with the individual and his family only compounded the Hibbetts store managers egregious actions. This company needs to get this right!

I will never shop at this store or any Hibbitt store again. A store manager called the police on a friend of mine who was shopping & trying on clothes. She had no reason for doing this & her story keeps changing. She spoke with him & even took a pic for him to send his wife to see if she liked the outfit. He went into the dressing room to change & when he came out the police were there to escort him out. He was doing nothing wrong. If she felt threatened by being in the store alone with a male customer she shouldn’t be working in retail. Her behavior was unacceptable & I find it disgusting.

I will never have an experience at your store because of your disgusting behavior when a native man, a member of his and your community is treated as a tresspassor when hes trying on clothes. Youve done nothing to make up for the egregious act of the store manager who called the police. Shame on you.
