I was so excited to be able to get my server from Jackie when another furniture store said it would take until May 2022 to be able to get it and then there was no guarantee. She took the time to do the research and I really appreciate it. I will definitely go to her again when I need new furniture.

UPDATE:The manager reached out to me throughout the last 2 weeks in attempts to clarify the shipping delays and lack of definitive dates for any shipment. They fully refunded my money. My recommendation would be to provide realistic delivery estimates from the get go. According to them, they get estimate dates from their supplier but I believe there needs to be better expectations from their supplier so that they can pass on better estimates to their customers.Additionally, if theres any short staffing, or delays, or any unexpected delays, routine communication with the customer would be very helpful.Overall, Im glad that they listened and refunded the money.Thank you.ORIGINAL:Please beware of this place. They collect money for the promised product and have no intention of delivering it. Theyll keep delaying with bogus excuses and when you ask for a refund, theyll make endless excuses about system being down.Every time I go to check up on my order, theres new excuses worse than the previous one. They need to be reported to BBB because many people have had same complaints. Ive been waiting for my order since June 2021. I was told itll be delivered bu July 15th. Its September and still nothing.Only buy whats in store and things they can actually hand you that same day. Otherwise youre better off throwing that money down the drain.Worst experience and even worse (nonexistent) customer service!

Please read reviews before dealing here. I didnt......but after my own experience, I feel I should share mine!I was told a price on a sectional and agreed to purchase but before the transaction was completed, I was told there had been a mistake and the price was actually 1749.00 but if I paid cash I could pay no tax and I could have it for 1600.00 and agreed. I wrote a check which included 99.00 for delivery. It would be delivered the first thing Monday. I got a call that since my check was out of state they would need cash.Before I could go the next day, they called again and said there had been another mistake. The Sectional was 2199.00 instead of 1600.00. I went down and got my check and copy of my drivers license back and felt that I was really lucky to have been able to have second thoughts. Beware buyer!!!

Very pleased with the service I received here today! Eve spent so much time with me; she helped me decide exactly what I want. Jackie helped me out a little on a price so I could stay in budget. The other great thing is that what’s out on the floor is available ASAP, which is very hard to find in most furniture stores!

Jackie was very helpful and the store inventory was large. We bought several items including a sectional couch and have been back and purchased a coffee table. We were happy with both the quality of the furniture and the service.

We purchased a sleep sofa that was delivered by Michael and Michael yesterday. I was very impressed with their service. They assessed where the sofa needed to go, laid cardboard on the floor, measured to see what they needed to do to get it into the room. They removed the wreath from the front door and a picture in the hallway, so as not to damage them. They were so respectful of our home. This was the most efficient delivery we have ever had. Very nice guys and great at their job. Oh, and we love the sleep sofa!Great addition to the room! Thanks Jackie,Michael and Michael!

Jackie was an absolute pleasure to work with. So very helpful with helping us pick out furniture for our entire house, and her prices were very fair!On a whole other note, her delivery men/installers Mike and Sal have to be without a doubt the most efficient, courteous, kind, careful and respectful Workers that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with.We have moved multiple times throughout our life and had multiple deliveries and none have gone as well as this one. And none of the delivery drivers or installers have been anywhere close to as professional as these men were.Jackie sure has a great business going, and wonderful employees that I hope she keeps on board. The workers are what makes the business run well! I would recommend Anybody to go shop with her!

I was very pleased with the large selection of furniture and other decorative items that Home Design Furniture has in their store. I am decorating a condo for a client and was searching for nice, but affordable items that would suit my clients style. I was not disappointed.Anne, the sales associate, was very helpful and patient and I really enjoyed working with her. She definitely stays calm under pressure!!I will be back to shop at Home Design many more times in the future and will recommend it to all of my contacts!

I stopped by the store yesterday, I was curious as I pass by it all the time. It is huge and has such beautiful furniture. I met Anne the sales person who was was friendly and was able to answer all my questions. She was extremely down to earth and knowledgeable. I was in the store the other day browsing before I went to work. This woman was not only helping me on the sales floor, but was also helping her crew, answering the phones and a delivery truck came at the same time. Not one time did she lose site of the fact I was there. She was extremely calm cool and professional. I will definitely be purchasing my furniture there Anne is great and very knowledgeable.

Mike and Kyle are by far the most personable, nicest delivery men that have ever come into my home. They were on time, called me 10 minutes before arriving, took great care carrying the heavy furniture, set it up quickly and helped me put floor protectors on the feet of the furniture. What more could anyone hope for.

I had a very good experience in the store when picking out the exact piece of furniture to go with my antique table and chairs. It arrived just when I was told it would. The guys that delivered it were Michael and Kyle. They were very polite and personable. They were very careful about unloading and unpacking my China hutch and display cabinet. Visited the store on Ridgewood Ave., in Ormond Beach, just looking. Saw a bedroom set we liked and began talking with Eve. She was very professional and helpful... gave us information and tips. We bought on the spot; in 7 days we had a new set. Delivery was early in the day and Mike and Kyle could not have been more professional and helpful in assembling everything. we are very pleased.

I give Home Design Furniture a Five-Star Rating. Jackie was a pleasure to do business with and made our shopping experience most enjoyable with her knowledge and expertise of her merchandise. Today our furniture had a delivery time frame of between 3 and 7 pm. What a wonderful surprise to find out it was being delivered that morning instead, which left me the rest of the day to go about my business. When the delivery men arrived, they were right on time and set up my furniture and were even willing to put my old sofa and love seat out on the curb for me. Class act from start to finish. I will definitely use Home Design Furniture for all my future furniture needs and recommend them to anyone I know looking for reasonably priced and quality furniture.

Great products, When the warehouse sends the correct pieces.Jackie and Ann worked to make the corrections in a timely manner. The delivery men Nye and David were extremely helpful in getting these beds together and in the right places. I am very pleased with the products, and the service was exceptional.

STAY AWAY unless you want a full-time job babysitting these people to get what you are promised. Wrong furniture delivered and when finally got right pieces they were damaged. Even with extended warranty, still no results. Completely disorganized and horrible communication from staff. Any positive reviews were written by the workers. Worst experience ever!! Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere!

Mike and Mike are great, funny, and helpful delivery guys! My husband and I have traveled around the world, and have never had such a fun exprience. Ben was personable, thoughtful, worked very hard to get us the best price, and was patient. Jakie made sure I had all the right stuff, and had everything delivered ASAP. If you see anything you want elsewhere, let them know. They can get it, for you at a better price, but same name brand and great quality. They saved us several hundred dollars. I looked both online, and at every furniture store in St. Augustine, Palm Coast, and Daytona, and they gave me the best deal. They are very honest, and helpful. Check out one of their three stores!

Please take your business elsewhere.We bought furniture that arrived a different color than what we saw in the store. Ben agreed to exchange the two pieces (less restocking fee) and order another loveseat for me. Delivery was to take place today, as well as pick up of two pieces going back for credit towards new item. Delivery was scheduled for 11 am today, then they rescheduled for 1 pm. At 2:30 we called, got runaround from Ben.The next calls to the store went unanswered.At 4 pm called main number, and Ann told us our new piece was not on the truck.I sincerely hope you take your business to Ashley Furniture; that’s where Home Design gets their furniture from. I’ve never heard of this happening at Ashley Furniture!

No one returns phone calls. no one will help you on an exchange. all you ever get is a run around. Beware shopping with them. They get your money and then they do not care after that . I dealt with the one in the villages. never again. If things are not exchanged, I will be getting help from the TV stations.

Terrible customer service. Special ordered a piece if furniture. Sales staff not returning my phone calls. Made several trips from New Smyrna to Ormond store and they say they will check status but have yet to return a call. Talked to one salesperson and she said she was at lunch and would call 20 to 30 minutes when she got back from lunch. Then proceeded to order from a drive thru without any response to me. Obviously customer service is of no concern to this business.

Well.......Stupid me! Should have read reviews prior to shopping here. Very bad experience. “Your furniture is in.......no wait, it will be here in a couple days. Call me at the end of the week.” I called. Acted like they never heard of me. Then, “Oh, yeah.....it will be here next week.” And on and on it goes. Finally.....”Ok, it’s in, but we have to put it together....except for the chair....you can put that together, it’s really easy.” But easy it was NOT. On a Sat I was told “I’ll have somebody there on Monday to take care of everything.” Well....no show, no call. That was 12 days ago. Managed to put the chair together ourselves and will NEVER set foot in that ragtag, clusterf***k excuse for a furniture store. Do not subject yourselves to this place. You will regret it!

We recently purchased furniture from Home Design Furniture, it was our first experience buying from them. The service was excellent and very hepful. The delivery guys Mike and Mike did a great job unloading our furniture and putting it together and placing it in the home where we wanted itl I will do busintess with them again.

If you are looking to buy furniture they have in the store then you can find nice things for fairly decent price. However, DO NOT order anything that will have to be shipped!! They do not follow up with you. They do not give you updates. I have been waiting over 2 months and was told it would be delivered last week. I never received a call nor did I receive a delivery. The random people that answer the phone have no idea what they are doing, cannot get your name right no matter how many times you tell them, and take forever to locate your order. I am very unhappy with the service!

Were told a price of $369 for a coffeetable by a salesperson, then the manager David came and made up a story on how the salesperson looked up the wrong item. We clearly saw the salesperon look up the correct item. David insisted on a price, of now $399. Needless to say, we didnt buy here after such a dishonest experience.

After almost 4 months of broken promises, ignoring phone calls and verbally attacking me when I finally disputed my charges with my credit card company did I resolve my problems with Home design furniture. After the sales man made an ordering error the company did not correct it and try to charge me more then the advertised price meanwhile stringing me along hoping that I would just give up and accept and pay for what I DID NOT order. This company is UNPROFESSIONAL and does not fix their errors. Once they get their money forget it you are DEAD to them.
