Service is very hit and miss. Went in and bought a printer and got adequate service. Went to get a chair and got zero help. Chairs are over there was the help I got. Looked through them on my own, decided on the winner, chased down an employee to get one and heard...we don’t have any. If we did they would be right there. “Why don’t you order it online” was his advice. I did; from Amazon.

On 2/16/2021, I purchased a Lightening To 3.5mm Headphone Adapter from the Ormond Beach location. The item failed 3 weeks later, and I brought it in for a replacement. I no longer had the packaging or receipt, plus Id forgotten my face covering. I was immediately helped by two extremely professional and courteous sales associates, Jake, and Chuck. Chuck provided a mask, explained my situation to Jake who took the time to find a record of my purchase. I was issued a new item, and at the register I mistakenly told Chuck it was a return, not a replacement. Hed already entered it as such when I said Ooops, I mean a replacement. He had to cancel everything and ring it up again.He was very patient and helped expedite the transaction. These two gentlemen made my experience at the Ormond Office Depot extremely positive. They are to be commended.

I got what I needed, however, I only needed 2 regular sheets of paper printed (black and white). It was only 24 cents online, however Id have to wait until 4pm to pick up and I didnt want to wait. When I went in, it was an extra $2.50 and the reason being anything done behind the counter has an additional charge. I dont really see how it makes any difference considering I pulled up everything on my own and the lady working just hit print - just like they would had I put in an online order. Definitely recommend only ordering ahead of time. $2.50 at the end of the day isnt a lot, but for two sheets of paper its a bit ridiculous

Drove by here 3 times because I couldnt see the sign. Kindly cut your shrubbery.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Especially Pat. She helped me find a desk chair that fit my budget and needs perfectly.

One person only in office area helping with everything and just to fax takes 30 minutes or more. Jake was rude taking customers out of order waiting.

Good prices. Good service. Decent selection of merchandise. Not much that you cant get online, often cheaper, but there are times when I just need to see the options in a physical presence and compare the alternatives. Bricks&mortar makes that possible; the Internet, not so much. I just wish that everything I pick up wasnt made in China, but that most definitely isnt limited to Office Depot.

Shopping at office depot/office Max today was just a pleasure. It really couldnt have gone any smoother. I went in looking for a new chair for my office where I sit 8 to 10 hours per day. I was expecting to spend a couple of hundred dollars. The sales associate in that department lead me to a series of chairs that were already assembled and came out of boxes that were damaged. I found one that I really liked and thought would work in space. The chair is pristine and completely like new. It was comfortable, it matched the colors I needed for my office space and it was 40% less then original price. No boxes, no assembly, just rolled it out to my car and was done. I simply couldnt be happier with the experience.

Dont tell anyone, but Copy center Kelly here in Ormond is beyond amazing! I had 4,000 pre-printed invitations to add date & time to, with a short time span. St. Augustine Office depot turned me down, but Kelly rescued me & was very kind & professional. Im very impressed & will return. Thank u Kelly!

Awesomeness !!! Amber was so helpful and knew her stuff. She helped me with getting my fathers celebration of life cards made up. Amber was very efficient and didnt make me feel like I was putting her out when I asked for a specific way to have them printed and offered good suggestions. Thank you Amber.

The girl who worked in the business area where you can use the copier was somewhat rude.Customer Service Rep Mas was very kind and pleasant. Maybe that girl can learn from Mas how how to give excellent Customer Service to paying Customers.Great Job Mas!!

Jake at the Business Center was great. I needed 150 funeral programs and he quickly printed them on quality weight paper. Sometimes its the little things that make customer service the best. :)

I love being able to come here and print something so conveniently, however, Kelly in the printing department was very rude today! After standing there for over 5 minutes after my page printed (waiting for her to finish what she was doing) I nicely said my page printed, no one else was left at the counter but me, she said 1 minute. ..and decided that was the time to check her messages. Horrible customer service!Every single time I come here the people working in the Printing department are horrible!

I love this place the staff is kind and helpful. I own Daves Jerky Shop & Marias Key Lime Pie Co. Both in the same shop.. Off 175 S. Nova in Ormond Beach, I buy all my office products, register tape, pribting...you name it.. constantly from Office Depot! They ROCK! Plus they get customer service which is very important to me since I am a business owner.

I needed to make copies..the self copy machine was very efficient. I liked the fact that I could pay for them with my atm card. Your original needs to go in face up!

Good deals when they put their items on sale. Ink prices could be better. Good sales people.

#poorcustomerservice! It was awful customer service. The African American guy was very rude and insulting not wanting to assist me.I inquired about cable adapters for HDMI VGA for my laptop with dual monitors. Everything he pointed out to me came with a sarcastic remark oh but thats too much $49.00-$70.00. Then when I proceeded to pick up a ink cartridge mind you I turned in an empty cartridge when I came into the store initially.I pick up the black in cartridge and proceeded to the counter look up there was the Caucasian employee hiding behind a center isle display counter just staring me down.I asked her do youll profile all of your customers or just your black ones? She stated we watch everyone. I also stated I will not come back to shop here ever again. Yes, Im black African American and yes I did purchase a (ink cartridge) my last item here at this store. Shopping while black is awful especially when Ive been shopping here for over 15 years.I felt very uncomfortable and racially profiled and I also felt unwanted even by the African American male employee.

Im frequently using the fax and copy section of this store theyre very good very fast and very efficient its a clean store and Ive never had a problem there

The service is always friendly and fast. However, you have to check and recheck everything you bring in to them I have had several mistakes or misunderstandings because every detail has to be written down. Often the person you show your example to is not the one doing the printing.

Hateful mean witch at the copy desk. I will never go back.

Expensive by far on everything....except getting black and white copies made. If you dont care to waste your money then go ahead and buy those sharpie markers for $6.00 Ill drive two miles up and spend $2.50 for the exact same ones.

Beware of lamination services (0 Stars). On our last visit yesterday, they overcharged us by overestimating the length and by leaving large gaps between a few items. We trusted them until we got home and measured it. We were charged for 30 feet and it was only 19 and that still included the gaps. They don’t use a meter device but should if they truly cared about customer service and being honest. We called management and they refunded a portion of the cost but never said anything like they were sorry. They still didn’t measure it. We won’t use laminating there ever again. The rest of the store has been fine (4 Stars) and the other salespersons have been nice over the years we’ve visited there.

Let me tell you about this store. I Purchased a double pack of printer ink.at $40+. The color cartridge worked ~ but the black didnt print. I called HP and got the run around. They couldnt even tell me if it was possible to get a bad cartridge. They offered to sell me a new printer. In desperation I called and talked to Jamie the manager at office Depot. He did a no charge swap out ~ even thought it had been more then 30 days since I purchased it. He said if that doesnt fix it ~ they would give me credit for the cartridges towards a new printer. Well it was a bad cartridge but guess where I am going to purchase my next printer? Customer Service is alive and well at Office Depot.

I was In the store getting some supplies, and I became concerned about an older female manger, I overheard being rude to a cashier. I know this cashier is a hardwoker, and has picked up alot of slack from the others that work there. I hope this kind of behavior is not acceptable.

They have great people and services with everything you need for your office equipment and needs.

Hard to find help but once you do they are kind and help you find things. Tech department seems inferior, never used, but as a tech guy Ive overheard some things that made my skin crawl.

I went to just get something printed, Whoever was staffing it at the time did so for me, and told me not to worry about paying. It was only like 11 cents but It was appreciated all the same.

I was trying to look for battery backup. Someone came over and told me they were out so I told him to take the empty boxes off but he would not take the empty boxes off the shelf saying they are out of them.

May be a personal preference but I prefer another store. The help seems to be scarce when you want them and overbearing when you dont. Many times what I am looking for is no longer in the store and I am online searching and buying. For things I know they have that I need right now, they are where I go.

Saw an item online that said it was available in store so I went to get it. I couldnt find the item so I asked an employee for assistance. He said he would go check for me and come back. I waited around for 5 minutes before I saw him helping some other customers. Guess he couldnt find them? So I went home, ordered the item online for in store pickup and it was ready 30 minutes later.
