I just left work to go pick my car up from Maaco, this is my second post on an ongoing problem,a problem that maaco created,to conclude worst workshop Ive ever worked with, this is my finished product, mind you a another paint problem that Im sure will paint will peel in the winters. I will not ever bring my vehicles here again

We took our leased vehicle here for some surface paint scratches. When we got our quote it was reasonable and honest. They didnt try to get us to paint the whole car like a couple other places. They got us in quick and fixed the paint right up for a good price.

I called for a quote and found them to be incredibly rude.

I went to replace an engine splash guard that had come off my vehicle. I was quoted about 100 bucks which was great to me. I came back a couple days later when they got the part in. Put it on. I inspected what was done after they gave me my cars and my 2016 white Hyundai Elantra was parked outside.The plastic piece did not fit and cover the bottom and was held on by ties and very loose.Came back in to ask why and the owner (Mother of the guy that greets you) said it was aftermarket. I didnt know what that meant but it didnt matter since it didnt FIT and was the wrong piece!Turned out she had ordered for the 2013 model (which I used to have and take there) and was still in the system. She did apologize and reordered for my 2016 model and credited the money I paid for it (60 bucks...which was lower than the estimate...verrry cheap but I thought at the time the son just got the initial estimate wrong). I mentioned the ties so the son said to make sure they get the tabs or whatever they are called so the piece could be affixed properly.So why even give them that chance? I mean whomever put that piece on didnt know it was wrong? Tried to fit a square peg in a round hole. It HAD to be on purpose. Who is a pro that is THAT inept?Because the three or so times I had been there before they did a decent enough job with dents and damage at almost HALF the cost. So the son just said leave the ill fitted piece on until I come back on Monday.What changed was that while driving a customer (Im an Uber driver) the piece just partially came off while on the interstate. So I had to drive this person with this grinding noise under my car hoping I dont get a low rating because of it.I could have taken the piece off myself and not come back. I drove it back and asked them to do it. The son did and came back with the piece but didnt seem happy about it. Yeah too bad.One star. Ill go ahead and pay a little more at B Street Collision.

I have repaired my 2014 Toyota Camry after an accident. They repaired the damaged parts but there are few things were still left behind. One, they didn’t even fill air after repairs, two, the brake had an issue and ABS light was on and I had to tow my vehicle to a Toyota Dealer. Even though Maaco is one of the best auto body shop, Overall, not a great experience this time. Hope they improve their service to make customers happy at the end of their service.

Two days ago I called John at Maaco. I told him about the rough winter we had and how we potentially had some rust spots on my wifes Mazda. John was really friendly and recommended that we bring in the vehicle and have him take a look at it. John was able to fit us in the next day and not only fixed the paint job right up, but he also gave us an amazing deal!I cant recommend Maaco enough to anyone that needs body or paint work!

Had a coupon for summer paint deal $300 It still cost me $501.50 to get standard cheap factory-colored enamel. I had read some bad reviews but I figured I would take a chance. There were bubbles and several large paint runs that i didnt see until after I got the car back. I had to set up an appointment to have them look at the mistakes. They then said that I could bring it back and that it would only take 4+ days to fix. I had to have transportation to work so obviously I couldnt schedule such long time without my car. Later I found that the trim vinyl had been sanded and damaged. The front of the entire radiator fins were over-sprayed through the fender. When they originally gave me the car back it was so sticky that i could see dust and cotton getting permanently stuck to the paint for about 2 days. My rear license-plate light housings were also painted over.I dont know if I will ever get a car repainted again I worked retail and cant afford terrible quality at a higher-than-advertised price.

Very helpful! I needed a small bumper repair for my moms car and was only in town for a few days. They were very accommodating and worked around my schedule to get the work done in a timely fashion.

No customer service. Or bait and switch service. I called yesterday about the 299 special, person told me no problem bring it in. Be cause I called for details. I told him I needed to pick up a bumper and he said great, pick it up and bring it in. I brought it and the guy said it would be a $1000.00. Car only had small amount of rust on one wheel well. And faded paint no other dents. I asked about the special, and he said he would go out of business if he gave $299 paint specials. I am not a car painter. So I think it was ridiculous that he wanted me to know his business, instead of allowing him to explain the process. So no real explanation to why his estimate was 3 times the special, except 5 inches of rust on one wheel well.

After getting estimates upwards to $8,000 in Lincoln for rust repair and paint (one shop wanted to replace the entire right rear quarter panel!), I decided to try Maaco in Omaha for my $3500 03 Acura TL with 150K miles. Had some rust repaired with welded fabricated metal on the right rear wheelwell, complete surface sanding, urethane sealer and single-stage enamel paint for $1,000. Delivered on time with the exact estimated costs and perfect for my daily driver! I am delighted and Thank you John, Jr!

I was shocked when I called to get some information from the North location. I called and asked the guy what paint they use and he told me ppg and then I went ahead and told him ive heard mixed reviews with maccos work but im willing to take a chance with them. I wanted to make sure that I was getting the full results I wanted and would be paying for. I went ahead and asked him if he though the work that macco performed was up to he standard, since he stated that he worked there for over 36 years. He got very angry all of a sudden and hung up the phone.

The staff are very professional with home town friendly mixed in there. They fixed my issue it was done quickly and looks great I highly recommend them to anybody as I know they will handle my referrals with the same courtesy and professionalism they showed mb e.

Had some body parts painted and when we had gotten them back they weren’t fully painted and had imprints from the seat material as they set them in the car and the paint was not fully dried. Went back up to MACCO on 73rd street where we had the body parts painted, and customer service was not great at all! Dealing with John JR (manager), he was not polite one bit, had an attitude while talking to me the whole time, and proceeded to scream at the top of his lunges right in my face!! When I was just trying to have a conversation with John JR and ask questions about the car and it’s body parts that were painted. This guy has a hot temper! I would not recommend anyone to go to this location, they do crappy work and customer service is the worst.

Maaco is a good place to get your car painted. I had a front quarter panel repainted on a GMC Acadia and it was a perfect paint job. The cost was very reasonable.

Excellent service, exactly what I paid for- $2500ish for a complete repaint of an F250 SuperCrew in a metal flake finish with a 5 year warranty. Truck looks great, not perfect but still great. They did right by me! Some people just have completely unrealistic expectations. You didnt go to Maaco because you wanted a showroom $15,000 paint job.

Didnt do what I asked for the 1st time and had to go back and complain about work that was originally done! Not happy and poor quality work!

The old guy behind the counter has very poor customer service skills would not recommend going there at all.

My Leased vehicle had a bumper scratch. Dealer and 3 other collision body shops quoted me around $1400 to fix it, Maaco charged me $500 and car was turned back successfully to GM. Save yourself some money check with them first, if you are looking to be pampered go somewhere else!
