Used to be a great store all around 25 years ago. Anymore its pretty much like most other retailers, poor customer service, some staff (not all) are pretty rude, under staffed, if you call, phone can ring forever. Was a loyal customer for years, but will only go to AutoZone now if advanced auto, or ORileys doesnt have what Im looking for.

Quickly helped me diagnose a check engine light and made sure I could make the drive home safely. Fantastic people. Much appreciated!

Very nice service the manager Jeffrey took great care of me and he even installed a battery for me and did the alternator test for me. This vehicle is for my auntie shes in a mobile wheelchair ♿. He even installed the protection for corrosion and the grease around the terminals thanks jeff for all you do Richard. Also to the young lady that helped me with carburetor cleaner and Seafoam thank you for your service.

We were traveling from North Carolina to Iowa when our windshield wiper almost fell off! We got off the freeway and found the first AutoZone. So thankful for the manager on duty who helped fix both our wipers! Thank you so much for being a place we can trust!

I went to Auto zone for a replacement battery. I brought the old battery in to be tested, and to make sure I got the correct replacement. The person helping me looked on the computer for reference. I still ended up with the wrong battery. The positive and negative posts were switched.Having to make another trip to the store is bad enough. The real problem is, I tried to install this battery. In the process I touched the cables to the posts. This resulted in a blown alternator fuse.I will not be back!!

This place is very helpful. They are usually quick to acknowledge me when I enter and they are eager to help. They are patient to answer questions and give advice. Ive not had any problems on returns and they have a fantastic rewards program. When I compare prices to other auto parts store a I have found AutoZone to be competitively priced.

This location is run and staffed by the best! I shop here myself, go with friends, take stranded motorists here. It doesnt matter if you are buying a 3.00 quart of oil or a 200.00 starter...they give you the best service and advice! They go the extra mile so I dont mind driving the extra miles to shop there!!!

I would like to compliment the AutoZone in Normal, IL for going above and beyond in helping my college-age daughter when she was experiencing battery problems. My husband recommended that she go to AutoZone to get a jump pack. Coreell was extremely nice and sympathetic as my daughter explained her car situation. Not only was he friendly and understanding, but he relieved her anxiety when he fixed the problem, free of charge! He tightened the battery post and even said that she could return the jump pack if she did not need it, because the problem was probably the loose wire. With us being 2 hours away, we are so grateful that there are people in town that take care of college students instead of trying to take advantage of them. Also, by tightening the wire, Coreell saved my daughter an auto repair bill! Thank you so much Coreell!!

I ordered a part Saturday 10/17/15, was assured the part would be at the store 3pm Sunday 10/18/15. Went to the store Sunday 4:45pm, and I was told the order could not be found and probable was never made. I rarely use AutoZone anymore, for similar experiences in the past, and now, it will be a definite last resort. And Bosch spark plugs are for certain Mercedes Benz only, dont buy into their upsales.

This store closes at 10PM. I go in at 9:30 on the dot and the guy in there is super rude when I told him that I had a light out in my car and I didnt know what the light was called. He said that he wouldnt be able to replace it because it was so late which I understand but he didnt even want to look at the car to see the light or anything so I wont be coming back to this one. I was polite about it but he was rude for no apparent reason.

Really perplexed to see such high reviews for this place. I received really poor service here. From someone that works in the same line of business at a competing store Im really proud of my co-workers, because the level of service we strive to give exceeds this location tenfold. I went to this location, because we did not offer the throttle cable linkage for my custom vehicle that ended up breaking. Both Advance and AutoZone did but only AutoZone stocked it. So I go the location, wasnt greeted or even acknowledged by any of the staff that were at the counters. I locate the part I needed and headed to the counter to check out. I go to the nearest counter with a staff member there. All I received was a blank stare from him. Didnt acknowledge or acted like I was there in front of him. So i had to initiate the conversation and told him I was ready to check out and set my item down on the counter. He eventually mumbled out a price and I was prompted on the credit card machine to pay. My receipt printed off and the staff member just sat it on the counter by the part. I then proceeded to leave the store, and once again wasnt greeted or acknowledged by any of the staff. For a company that basis most of their sales on retail this is not the type of service Id expect to receive. While there really wasnt anything wrong with my experience at this location, the staff really didnt try to go the extra mile to win over my service. Id recommend any one to go to the Advance thats conveniently located right across the street from this location if your in the area and need parts. I wont recommend where I work just to try and keep this somewhat unbiased.

Went to AutoZone on center st to get a replacement car battery. Guy working that day was not super helpful and kind of arrogant. He looked up the battery for me and rang me out for the battery I needed, but that was not the battery I got. Instead I got a reverse terminal battery that would not work in my car.Mix ups happen, I get it. However, customer service there is rough. There are a number of auto part stores here in town and AutoZone did not seem to value my business. Ill try elsewhere next time.
